Phenomenal Experience with Pinky Photograpy

We chose Pinky Photography to shoot our wedding day photos at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach. She went above and beyond to capture amazing photos that we will cherish for a lifetime. She is extremely professional and it was so easy to work with her. Her online portal makes it simple to view/select photos. We cannot say enough good things about Pinky!

Amazing, must hire photographer!

Pinky was absolutely amazing! We wanted to invest in a great photographer because this is one of the only things you can take with you forever. She was very responsive, professional and the sweetest! We felt very comfortable with her as we were planning our destination wedding and felt even more comfortable with her on the day. She is very knowledgeable about the venue(Kualoa Ranch-Paliku Gardens) and helps you with natural poses as well. We loved our photos and cant wait to cherish them for years to come. Thank you Pinky!

I could not have asked for a better photographer. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable. She was easy to communicate and work with. The pictures she took at our wedding were phenomenal if you’re looking for a wedding photographer book her I promise you won’t regret it!

Gorgeous Wedding Memories

Highly, highly recommend hiring Pinky for your wedding photography needs. I found Pinky because she is a preferred vendor at Kualoa Ranch, where my husband and I got married. After browsing through Pinky’s work on her website and Instagram (@pinkyphotographyhawaii), I was sold, and knew I wanted to hire her for our photography needs. I love the style of Pinky’s photos. We booked a package with Pinky that included an engagement photoshoot + a 7 hour day of wedding package with second shooter. The package was a great deal and we are highly satisfied with what we got out of the package. Pinky was very easy to get in contact with via email, and was also very easy to work with in person. She made us feel so comfortable. We absolutely love how all of our photos came out (engagement AND wedding), and all of our friends and family commented about how beautiful all of our photos were.

Pinky is absolutely amazing! We planned a trip to Oahu for our honeymoon, and I really wanted some amazing photographs of us, showing off the beauty of Hawaii. I did a bit of research online and came across Pinky's website - as soon as I saw it I fell in love with her work, it was JUST what I was looking for. When the time finally came for us to have our photoshoot Pinky made us both feel very relaxed (we're not really used to having our pictures taken), and she was super friendly!

I thought having the photos would be a great way to capture the essence of our honeymoon. When I come back to Hawaii I wouldn't hesitate to book Pinky for another photoshoot!

Pinky is an amazing photographer and my husband and I were so glad we found her. Since we were planning a wedding in Hawaii from Boston, we were really concerned with finding someone who was both talented and responsive. Pinky was all those things and more. She really made sure to capture what we were envisioning for our photos and was totally supportive through the whole planning process- she even did a Facetime meeting so we could get to know her a bit better! I'd recommend Pinky wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a professional, talented, and fun photographer.

We loved working Pinky in the lead up to the wedding as well as on the day. She was so lovely and accommodating with all of the shots we wanted and was just a pleasure to have her as part of the wedding.

Pink was the absolute best!! She was great to communicate with, and was quick responding back to all my emails. On our wedding day she was so sweet and kind. Our pictures turned out sooo much better than I could ever have imagined. I highly recommend her to anyone!

Pinky's photos have such a sweet and soft touch to them. Having a destination wedding, it was difficult to choose a photographer, but after a few phone calls and emails, we knew Pinky was the right fit for us. She has such a relaxed and comforting style. We gave her the photos we wanted to have and she made sure we got those that day. Too, she gave us good direction on how to pose, what to do with our hands, where to look. And she is very quick! She truly does not miss a moment.

The photos (print and USB) were delivered to us in a beautiful wooden box. A great keepsake. We'd definitely recommend her.

We are so happy we chose Pinky Photography Hawaii to capture our vow renewal! She has such a friendly and calm demeanor, listened to what and how we wanted our photos, she responded quickly with the tons of emails I wrote, and she was a pleasure to be around and work with on our special day. When we decided to go to Hawaii for a vacation, we wanted to get our engagement shots done as well, so we found Pinky through BrideBox after seeing that she's one of the top wedding photographers in Hawaii! We got in touch with her, and she was super quick to respond, and was so helpful with all of our enquiries, especially when we were thinking about the shooting location. Pinky was also super accommodating - we had a sudden last minute time change, and Pinky was so willing to change her time and schedule (especially with her babies!) to fit our schedule - we were super appreciative of that. She also arranged for a photo permit at our shooting location, which saved us the hassle from doing it ourselves! At the shoot, Pinky made us feel at ease. We were definitely camera shy. It was our first time being photographed, but Pinky made us feel relaxed and didn't make us feel bad for feeling awkward around each other. She's able to spot really cool backdrops for your photos - you wouldn't realize it at the time, until you see the photos, and it's like "wow, cool shot!". She's really friendly and sweet, and just an overall nice person to work with!! If you like romantic and sweet as the overarching style to your engagement photos, Pinky is the one! Pinky was great to work with from beginning to end. We had such short notice and not much time to help plan my son's wedding, so it was a huge relief to find Pinky available on Easter Sunday just a few days before! Then the pictures were just amazing! Great!!

You will not regret selecting Pinky as your photographer for any occasion. This will be the best decision you make! Throughout the process, Pinky responded quickly to all of my questions and listened to what I wanted. Her photography is stunning. Even though it was sunny and very windy the day of our shoot, Pinky managed to capture images that looked to have come straight out of a magazine. I am so happy with my pictures and will treasure them forever. Communication is key for me as in the past I've dealt with photographers who take a long time to get back with you or promise to have your pictures in 2 weeks and it takes 2 months... Pinky was true to her word. As mentioned earlier, she always responded promptly and had my pictures to me before I could even think about it! The quality of her work is unmatched and I am confident you will be pleased.

We used Pinky for both our Engagement Session and our Wedding Photos. Everything was amazing! Pinky was quick to respond to emails and had a quick turn around time for our photos. All of the pictures were gorgeous and we couldn't have been happier. We loved working with Pinky and hope to be able to hire her again for our next photographable life event (maternity)!

Pinky is such a sweetheart! I've always loved her work. Had my wedding booked with her for over a year at Makapu'u Beach on Oahu. Despite her having a migraine that day and me running late in traffic to my own wedding. .it turned out amazing. Pinky is very patient and laid back. I can't wait for my photos. I know she will take good care of us :) her cute sidekick came to help her take photos. . Darling little boy! ! Definitely recommend her! She seems to put her love and heart into her job and take time editing photos for each customer :)

We used Pinky for our Hawaiian destination wedding on the beach. The photos she took were so amazing! She is extremely talented and definitely knows what she's doing when it comes to photography. She is also super sweet and was very responsive to our questions/concerns. She also came to our rescue at the last minute when we had to find another beach to have our wedding at due to construction. She recommended a beach that was so perfect and even better than the original one that we chose. I am so glad we found her through wedding wire and were able to have her capture our special day!

Coming from North Carolina to get married in Hawaii, Chris and I knew that we needed to find a great photographer to capture all of our special moments. It was our top priority to be able to share every beautiful glance, kiss and embrace, with family that couldn't be with us. With many different photographers on Oahu, it was tough to find one that we connected with. Seeing Pinky's blog and all her wonderful pictures immediately made up our mind! Her style was exactly what we wanted, but never could have imagined just how amazing our pictures would be! Pinky is also the most wonderful person to work with and was eager for our input. Let me start by saying Pinky Yoshimoto is the complete package for any amateur couple taking engagement photos for the first time.
Going through her portfolio alone was one of the reasons why we wanted her to be our photographer so badly. We loved the natural feeling of how she had captured all of her other couples.

Since the start of our communication through email, she was always on point and never left us hanging.
She answered every single question we had. And even after suggesting that our original location might have been under construction, she was quick to offer us examples of other clients she had captured in a different location, but had the same feel and look for what my husband and I were going for.
She even was able to rearrange our original date a day sooner due to the holiday weekend, because there would more than likely be too many campers where we were headed.

Pinky made us feel like friends; making my husband and I feel easy, fun, and carefree.
Oh, and did I mention she's 33 weeks pregnant and marched along the beach and climbed some marshy areas to try and get the perfect photo? She was the best.
I wish my husband and I were having our vow renewal in Hawaii, because Pinky would be the woman for the job.

I hired Pinky to do our wedding, and I am so happy I went with Pinky. Pinky takes photographs that a timeless, classic, and simply breathtaking. She captured so much more than images. She really captured our emotions that day. If I had to describe her style of photography, it would be vintage meets glamor meets ethereal. She really can do it all. It really just is a breath of fresh air. Literally, seeing some of the photos she’s taken…I can’t help but take a deep breath and go, “Wow!” I especially love her soft, light images. Pinky works so well with natural lighting. The final images are just fabulous!!! My husband were so pleased with our engagement pictures that she took, and we were simply in awe of our wedding photos. They. Turned. Out. Amazing!!! My husband HATES taking pictures, but she really makes us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Pinky does not pose you into any awkward or uncomfortable poses, as I know some photographers do. Pinky is incredibly talented and one of the sweetest people ever! She was easy to get in contact with and was always a pleasure to work with. She came out to meet us on the North Shore for our session. When we got rained out, she offered to meet us the following day so we could get what we had discussed. We are so happy with all of our photos and we received everything in the time that we were given. I will definitely use her again when we make it back to Oahu.

We have only seen a few proofs from the wedding but we are thrilled with what we see so far! Pinky was great, we barely noticed her all day but when we did she was taking photos everywhere of our guests and us matching our request to have more narrative shots of the day. It was a pleasure working with her!

As the mother of the bride given the task of choosing the photographer who would document the union in Hawaii, my job was a big one. Not only am I her mother but I am also a wedding photographer and needed to find a photographer who could handled the technical skills of shooting in the full sun at almost midday (no small feat, let me assure you), be able to capture their day PLUS their personalities in ONE hour and make them feel comfortable. Both Sean and Rena are natural in front of a camera and absolutely gorgeous but the right photographer would not try to pose that out of them. I did a lot of research for days and Pinky's work spoke for itself and Rena loved her "about me" so the decision was made.
I love the photos and have to say that the weddings photos were even above and beyond what I had expected and Sean and Rena loved working with her. I can't even begin to pick a favorite and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer. Pinky Rocks. Get her before she finds that out and starts charging what she is really worth!!!

Pinky was the absolute BEST wedding photographer!! My mom is a wedding photographer and believe me when I say I've seen amazing wedding photography for years, but Pinky topped everything! We only spent 60min shooting with her (pre, post, and during the wedding), but we got over one a hundred amazing pictures from Pinky that captured our personalities PERFECTLY!! I cannot say enough good things about her work, you are incredibly insane to look elsewhere for your wedding photographer. Pinky is simply the best!

From the first time I saw Pinky in action at a friends wedding, to my first conversation with her at that wedding I knew I wanted her to photograph our special day as well as our engagement photos. She takes pride in her photography work and you can tell it is not only a job but something she loves very much. My husband does not enjoy taking pictures (I do..sometimes a little too much) so seeing how comfortable she made him feel made it a great and fun memory for the both of us. We couldn't have been happier with our engagement & wedding photography experience with Pinky & her husband Chad, you both have captured a moment in our lives that we can share with our family for generations to come & for that we are forever grateful...xoxo....

I loved, loved, LOVED our wedding photos from Pinky Photography! She was a joy to work with as a vendor. Pinky was able to fly to Kauai to shoot our wedding, even though it was in the middle of the week. We had a nice range of photos from the little details (my wedding heels, dress, bouquet, favors, etc.) to the fantastic group shots and heartwarming new-couple shots. She was very patient and understanding when our catering vendor was way behind in serving their food. And though she was unable to stay to take photos of the dancing and bouquet/garter toss because our venue failed to complete the meal service in a timely manner, I am forever grateful she stayed as long as possible past our previously agreed on ending time to get some photos during dinner. Thank you Pinky!

PS: She also did amazing job with our engagement photos, pre-wedding photos, and Christmas photos! Looking forward to working with her for all future Christmas photos, and maternity/baby photos when the time comes!

One of my good friends introduced me to Pinky and I'm glad she did, because Pinky is a wonderful person. Not only did she do my wedding pictures and did my engagement pictures too. The best thing about Pinky is her personality when you work with a complete stranger its always hard to be "yourself", however with you- you feel at ease to let your inner personality shine. She lets you be yourself and that was a big thing for my hubby and I. She listens to suggestions and makes suggestions that are fun for you and the whole family.
Now, that I found a friend in Pinky, she knows that I will run to her for future photography. She does beautiful work and a photographer with a fun and friendly personality.. Thanks Pinky for everything...

She was professional, organized, and very personable throughout the process. These are qualities difficult to find especially given the many things a bride is left to coordinate. While my theme was a simple beach wedding, her creativity and touch made the day appear extravagant. Also, I have to mention, my friends and family cried twice: both at the wedding and in seeing the photos a few weeks later. Thank you Pinky!

I was referred to Pinky Photography by a friend. Her wedding packages accommodated for what we needed and wanted. Being that I live out of state, it was easy to get in contact with Pinky via phone, email, and text. We did an engagement session months prior to the wedding, and Pinky was there on our wedding day from early morning to late afternoon when the reception ended. Our pictures turned out beautiful! Pinky has this exquisite eye and style for photography. She is great at what she does. Highly recommended!!

Pinky was a God-send! She impressed me with her professionalism and talent. She made the shoot so much fun. All the nervous bride jitters fell away and I really enjoyed myself. Pinky was great!! I booked her back in July for my honeymoon photo session in October. Her prices are super reasonable considering that her work is so amazing! She was also pretty quick to respond and I was able to book my session pretty easily. When the day was finally approaching, Hurricane Ana was supposed to hit! Luckily we missed it but it was raining the whole day so she was able to reschedule around our schedule since we were there for only 1 week. When my husband and I met her, she was super nice and was such a pleasure to work with! She gave us suggestions on poses (which we definitely needed) and we were also able to goof around and think of our own poses as well! She also took the time to get to know us and was genuine which was super important to me. The turnaround time for the photos were extremely quick! We got them less than a week after our shoot!! And my goodness, were they amazing! i loved every single photo! If you don't believe me, check out her work! It speaks for itself! I can't wait to come back to Oahu and have her take our anniversary pics!!!

I was planning my wedding from California and Pinky was very prompt in replying to emails. She was also very flexible in her photo packages, which helped my budget. The video collage she made for us was beautiful.

If you are looking for a photographer out of state- you must use one that is very easy to get a hold of. Pinky Photography was very professional and responded to my inquiry sooner than another photographer I contacted. They worked with my price budget, my changing of time for the events, and provided a package that was specifically for me. Pinky, the photographer, was on time, very creative with her shots, and comfortable to be around! I would highly suggest using Pinky Photography for any event in Hawaii!

I enjoyed working with Pinky and her assistant. Both were flexible on the day of, in terms of shooting. Pinky was flexible to swap out our e-session for a rehearsal dinner shoot.
