Amazing photographer

I cannot say enough good things about Amanda! She really knows what she’s doing and gets the shots! My favorite thing about her was she kept me on my timeline but still got every shot I wanted! She truly cares about her work, she takes the time to stage every person in her photos so they look the best they can! Other photographers I’ve worked with just say pose and snap pics! She truly is skilled in photography! I loved having her as part of my vendor time on my big day

She can run a schedule!

Working with Amanda was a wondrous gift for our wedding experience. She knows how to keep a schedule and corral 100+ people in a professional yet no-nonsense manner. She worked excellently with my wedding planner to create my picture-perfect day! I don’t think my wedding day would have run smoothly at all without her. The bang we got for our buck was top notch! And the pictures turned out so beautiful!! I would absolutely 100% go with her as my photographer if I ever get married again! ;)

Thank you for my beautiful photos!

Amanda was really awesome! We got married on New Year’s Eve and had a really long day ahead of us. She was there for just about all of it as we ended our reception at midnight! For our first look & bridal pictures she knew just how to pose everybody so no one looked out of place! We also had a huge family that wanted a lot of pictures done with each other and she got them done efficiently and fast. We love all of our wedding pictures and we can’t wait to use pink shutter again in the future!

Amazing experience for our intimate wedding and engagement pictures

Love Them!!

Amanda was amazing. I’m so happy with our wedding photos that we have received so far. Amanda was able to get some sneak peek photos to us the day after the wedding which was awesome. She was fun to work with and was very efficient during the process to make it easy for everyone. I will definitely be using Pink Shutter in the future for any other events I have.

Amanda and her husband are amazing! Amanda helped me plan the day of details from the first time I met with her, which was a huge help! She knew warned me about venue specific challenges, and how to prevent them and she was great at managing a large crowd. Amanda and Nick made sure we got everything we wanted out of our wedding day! Plus our pictures are absolutely incredible! I can’t wait to use her in the future to capture our journey through life!

Look no further for your wedding photographer!! Amanda with PinkShutter Photography was the absolute best and I couldn't be more thankful for her services on our special day! She truly captured all of our favorite moments and every picture turned out stunning :) from the details, the pre-wedding fun and the ceremony and reception; I was able to relive our most favorite day ever! She's very quick and she makes sure to get pictures of all sides of family with the bride and groom, in an orderly manner. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and I'd would recommend her to anyone!

I don't think I could say enough good things about Amanda. She not only is amazing at what she does, she has fun doing it. My husband is not one that like having pictures taken but Amanda made it fun. My wedding party still talks about how fun she was.
Our pictures came out absolutely perfect and I could not be happier. If I had to do it all over again, I would still choose her every time.

Pink Shutter is everything you need and more! I started my wedding planning 7 months before the set date and nearly all of my vendors came from her suggestions. Also my wedding party was a little hard to keep focused after the ceremony as many went to greet family and try and sneak some food. Amanda made sure to keep everyone on task and get timeless pictures in the quickest way possible. I got amazing sneak peeks within 24 hours! I recommend them to everyone I know getting professional pictures done for any occasion.

Amanda and Nick were such a pleasure to work with. We found Pink Shutter when they did my cousin's wedding and immediately knew we had to have them as well! We did both our engagement shoot and wedding photos and they are perfect in every way. It is such a special thing to have so many amazing photos to remember our wedding day. I've been fortunate enough to work next to Amanda at a few weddings and always admired her style, professionalism and success. I was even more impressed when she and Nick were there for my special day! She worked well with our kids and had tons of patience with the whole wedding party! When we got engaged I knew that the photography was going to to be the most important part of our day. We wanted to share this day with our grandchildren one day, so I needed to pick the best photographer. After weeks and weeks of research we went with pink shutter and could not be happier. My husband and I had an elopement style wedding , pictures were the one thing I wanted even though I wasn't having a huge wedding, I wanted those memories captured and Amanda did just that. She was very accommodating and professional. She was patient and listened to everything I asked for. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer , the quality of her work is AMAZING.

So happy with our photographer. the awesome duo couple not only gave me a preview of my pictures the very next day after my wedding, but also helped with my hair and really took the time to make sure i looked my best for the pictures. They even worked as a team with my caterer and coordinator to make things smoothly. love them! couldn't be more happier.

My husband and I were completely satisfied with our wedding photographers, from start to finish. We got a preview back the very next day and received all of our photos in about six weeks. OMG! I can not say enough good things about Amanda and her husband Nick. I am such an easy going person and didn't have an opinion about too much about my wedding day, but my pictures and WHO was taking them was super important to me. From the first day my husband and I met with Amanda, I knew it was the perfect match. And believe it or not she was the first person I met with. While I did end up meeting with others following our initial meeting, I always found some way to compare to Amanda's (Pink Shutter's) work, pricing, or personality. We had such a fun engagement session but WOW was the wedding so much fun!!! Amanda and her husband have such a fun personality that me and my now husband just felt so at ease when they were taking our pictures, like we were just hanging out with long time friends. Not only did we have SO MUCH FUN with them, but our pictures really did turn out better than I even expected!! AMAZING people, AMAZING work....how could you go wrong??? :)

Pink Shutter Photography did an amazing job at my wedding! We have used them for several occasions now and couldnt be any happier with the quality, value, customer service and turn around times! Amanda really cares about her clients and it shows in her work. She does everything she can to make sure your pictures are beautiful and your big day goes as smoothly as possible. I am extremely thrilled to have had Amanda and Nick with Pink Shutter Photography as my wedding photographers! I knew when I saw Amanda's style that she was the perfect photographer for our special day. It's hard finding the perfect photographer to capture exactly what you are wanting but Amanda knows what she wants and what you want and makes sure she gets it. I am so thankful I was told about Pink Shutter Photography! My pictures turned out beautifully and she made sure to capture every great moment! Beyond that though, Amanda was the BEST help when it came to the flow of the day and even helping me with planning. She was fantastic! Amanda with Pink Shutter Photography exceeded my expectations of a wedding photographer by far. Amanda first captured my interest with our amazing engagement photos, her talent seemed to come so natural and she captured great shots! I knew she would be a perfect choice for my wedding day. I have a huge family and I also had a large bridal party, some of which are difficult to assemble at one time! Amanda did an amazing job at steering everyone in the right direction and coordinating shots. She knew exactly where to take photos, exact poses to take, and even when I got tired of smiling (giving the fake smile) she stopped made me do a silly face which made me get my real smile back on track! Her experience and knowledge on capturing special moments are revealed in all my wedding photos. I look at these photos multiple times during the day and it allows me to relive my special day! I love my wedding photos so much!

Amanda and Nick are a husband and wife team that do very efficient work. So far, the photos are beautiful! We booked they for a two day wedding event. After the first day, she already had photos up on facebook for us to look at!! I've never seen a turn around so fast. We are still waiting to the originals, but she is on a much needed vacation. Her price for two days was also incredibly reasonable. I was getting quotes for $1400 for two hours!!! Amanda beat that for two days. I would recommend her to anyone for any event.

Amanda and Pink Shutter Photography team were amazing! They were very professional but still able to make everything a lot of fun. They were friendly, prompt, and knew exactly what to do and when . They are awesome photographers and I would recommend them to anyone! They have done my engagement pictures and my wedding and all the pictures are STUNNING! I did not know Amanda until I found her to be my photographer for my wedding & it was the best decision I made!! Her & her husband both are amazig people inside and out. I will definitely have her to do any shoots that I will have done in the future!! She made everything fun & calmed my nerves when I needed!!! I would recommend pink shutter photography to anyone!!!! Absolutely amazing! There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Pink Shutter Photography is. Amanda, Nick, and Theresa couldn't have been more professional and accommodating to all of our requests throughout our wedding. Weddings can pose an interesting and challenging situation because of everyone in your party's input and suggestions. What you need is someone like Amanda to take your input before-hand and handle those people so you and your spouse can enjoy your day. Not to mention they took amazing photos and plenty of them! We did all of our conferences remotely since we were in Miami and they were in Jacksonville (I was apprehensive at first about this but it was effortless and actually more convenient).

I was completely satisfied with pink shutter photography. They we're very flexible to work around my schedule. They showed up early and stayed late. She captured my special day the way I wanted it to be done and even better than I had expected. I also got my pictures back in a timely manner. I have and will use them again.

Our pictures turned out beautiful. Amanda is great and super friendly. I loved having her as our photographer and I liked how she stayed on top of things, however, some people did complain that the traditional things after the ceremony became more about the picture than the actual tradition, i.e. Cake feeding, first dances, ect. Some people felt there wasn't enough notice given or time for people to gather. Also, it takes awhile to get your pictures afterward. We haven't minded waiting though because we know they're worth the wait and she gives you sneak peaks the night of the wedding/morning after. Overall we had a wonderful wedding and we certainly don't regret our decision choosing pink shutter photography.

Fantastic Job with Large Bridal Party

Amanda did a fantastic job, and she was fun to work with. She is super professional, friendly and talented. She kept our large bridal party in line, and kept things moving efficiently. We had a lot of rain on our wedding day, but she was able to get all the shots we needed in the small window of clear skies we had. She was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend Pink Shutter!

Amanda did a great job and we love our photos. The only two small complaints I have is that she kept forgetting my mom's name and she forgot to take a few photos that I had asked her to take earlier in the day. We enjoyed working with her and would recommend her services. She arrived on time and was consistent to remain on task and on schedule which was greatly appreciated.

Our wedding could have been captured a lot better than what she did for us

I don’t recommend Amanda because I had her for our wedding in August of 2019 and she missed quite a few photos, including our family photo and many details I was devastated about, even though we had made a list prior to the wedding, of pictures necessary to capture that she was aware of. When I asked her about it, she blame shifted all of it on other circumstances instead of just apologizing and taking ownership of her mistakes.
We wouldn’t recommend her at all and have since discouraged her to other couples we know. We are saddened by the small amount of photos we got of our wedding and all the missing details she did not get.
Would not recommend her for weddings.

No Pictures After 17 Weeks

It's been 17 weeks since my wedding without a preview or a few pictures to use as thank you cards. Even after requesting several times. Communication is not constant. At this point it seems as if my pictures are being withheld. I have been told several times, I'll get them to you by a certain date and there's absolutely nothing. All I want to do is get my pictures and end this transaction. This is has been a horrible experience. Note, the contract does not give any time frame as to when pictures are expected I was only told after asking multiple times to expect them in 10-12 weeks after the wedding. Not sure if this has happened to others but it feels like it is purposely not stated in the contract for this reason. I was asked to change my initial review so this is an updated one.

Do not hire this company for your big day!

Do not recommend this photographer. If I could redo my wedding, I would have had my wedding on a different day so I could have had a different photographer at my venue or I would’ve had my wedding at a different venue so I could hire a different photographer. Amanda was very kind and responsive until I paid my first down payment and signed a contract. During this time we had selected a date and I asked to have our engagement photos in downtown Saint Augustine. She agreed that this was good. She then stopped replying to my messages. The only messages she would send me were small discounts if I paid the rest of my photography fee early. Luckily, my hair stylist had her contact information and was able to get in touch with her because the day before our engagement photos I still had not heard back on what time or what place we would be meeting in st augustine. She then called the day of our photos and asked to change the photo location to Fernandina. I agreed and tried to just go with it because I did not feel like arguing. These pictures turned out well and we had no issue. Actually, she even requested a call and told me she loved my fiancé and I so much that she wanted to use us as her models for an ad in return for a discount on the rest of our wedding photo payment. We agreed and then she never spoke again about this. I let this go. Then came time for our timeline phone call in which she rescheduled the morning of after the time it was set to begin. I also let this go and opened up more time in my busy schedule for another call. The day of the wedding came & she spent almost the entire time I got ready taking “detail shots”. I, as the bride, had to ask her 3 separate times if she could take pictures of the moms opening special gifts my husband and I had ordered them. Every time I asked she would say no because she had to take detail shots. She took these for hours. It has now been 25 weeks since my wedding. I was promised all photos between 8-10 weeks of my wedding day if not at least by the 12 week mark. I had to reach out multiple times requesting updates on when I would receive my photos. After the 12 week mark, I ended up reaching out to my wedding planner (we got married at an all inclusive) and she had to get the head planner involved. Even after this, I only received some of the photos back. I had to request multiple times and each time she made excuses. Quick note- we were her 1st wedding of the season. Finally I received a bulk of the photos, but I am still to the day missing multiple important photos - detail shots of a table I made for our grandparents (all of which have passed & meant a ton to us), a first look with my dad, detail shots of our sweetheart table, detail shots of our invitation suite, & also the reason I paid her extra for a second photographer & that was to get photos of my husband as I walked down the isle! I have given Amanda 25 weeks (more than double the time) to get me these photos! I have texted multiple times, gotten the planners involved & still nothing. She has ignored several of my texts. In the end, I am just so thankful we hired a videographer & that we at least have that treasure forever despite not having our photos. I have tried so hard to give Amanda every chance possible, as I fully understand that things happen, but I simply do not think this type of business ethic is okay or morally right. I do not wish this upon anyone. Invest in a good photographer & someone you can truly trust.

Amanda Robbed us

Amanda Brown is very unprofessional. She did our wedding photos and did not edit a single one of them, and she did not give us all of our photos. She did not give us the canvas that was promised, and that was paid for! She didn’t even stay for the entire wedding. I wish I could’ve given her zero stars. She had a bad attitude. and was very rude to my wedding party. I am mostly disappointed that she did not ever respond to any of my messages or phone calls. And she robbed us of our canvas that she was supposed to Mail us.
