Pink dot was such a great company to work with. Both Meghan and Leanne really listen to what you want and make your vision come to life. I’ve really enjoyed working with both of them. -

Meghan did my hair and makeup for a Starfall Ball this past weekend. The look was intended to be whimsical/ very fairy like and she nailed it!! She spent so much time ensuring every detail of my makeup and my hair/extensions were perfect. Beyond ensuring my look was perfection, she was so fun to work with and get to know. It was such a fun process as she transformed me for the book themed ball. Absolutely recommend and would use her again if I find myself back in the area -

Meghan was wonderful and responsive to questions asked of her before my big day and on my wedding day bc I am a Perrin who knows very little about hair and nothing about makeup! She was very patient and fif a wonderful job on me and my two attendants!! -

Absolute perfection!
Meg is truly a miracle worker. She made me and all of my girls look and feel absolutely beautiful on my big day! I could not have felt any more comfortable with someone doing my make up. Meg brings so much fun energy to the group when getting ready and is constantly making sure that you are happy with everything as she goes. I am still obsessed with my wedding makeup and can't recomment Meg and her team enough! -

A thousand times over thank you for your generosity and sharing your talents! After a bit of a snaphoo that eventually led to me being told my scheduled appointment at another salon could not be completed (on the day of the appointment), we called Pink Dot fully expecting to be turned away. HOWEVER, Meghan (the owner) instead surprised us with availability and flexibility to have my makeup done for engagement photos. Not only did she make time for me—but she airbrushed my foundation and concealed blemishes, artistically blended the perfect eye and lip look, made my skin glow with highlight, added natural lashes, and sealed everything with the yummiest setting spray! I truly felt gorgeous!
My makeup lasted through the heat of the day in Charleston and was still perfect at the end of the night. I felt beautiful and I am so appreciative of the work that Meghan did for me (on a whim)! I could recommend Pink Dot over and over for great service with quality work! -

They did a wonderful Job they were on time professional and friendly. I did three different trials on hair and makeup before I found Pink Dot beauty bar and they were hands down the best. Now going back and look at wedding pictures I know I made the right choice. I highly recommend them. -
Kayla Sent on 05/05/2018I could not have dreamed of a better experience. Katie is a true gem! I came to her for my wedding hair and makeup trial as well as my day of services. I had high expectations and she exceeded all of them. She really took into consideration my wants and although my hair ended up not being able to do what I had in mind, the new style we went with was better than what I had originally planned. She calmed my nerves and made me feel stunning; I would pick her 100 times over!

One of the things I loved most about the business was how responsive Amber, the bridal coordinator, was. I reached out to her several times over the whole wedding process via email and she would ALWAYS get back to me within a couple of hours. Also, Rebecca (makeup) and Gigi (hair) are absolutely AMAZING! Their creative skill and ability to take ideas and bring them to life are insane. In fact, Gigi is now my permanent hair stylist! I recommend Pink Dot to any bride looking for professional service with a smile :) -

Absolutely horrible
This was the absolute worse hair styling experience.
The wedding party was so unhappy with how their hair turned out. The stylist was given pictures of styles and not a single one was even close to being matched. The hair and bobby pins were falling out of the hair instantly. The bride had to have her hair fixed several times within minutes of styling and throughout the event. The stylist worked from 9-3 without a single break. Definitely understaffed. Due to being understaffed some of the wedding party were late to getting pictures. Guests at the wedding even commented on how poor the hair quality looked. I am shocked that this place ever had a positive review. DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE! -
