I highly recommend this venue! It was perfect and better than we could have ever imagined for our special day. Everyone was telling us how gorgeous and amazing it was! It was an easy process to get this venue and had a payment plan that worked amazing for us! If we needed anything we got a quick response and help as needed! The owners are super sweet and even gave us ideas for the wedding and how we could use different parts of the property. Pine Creek Farm has become a special place to our family and we will be back for weekend getaways! -

User2452797 Sent on 12/03/2015Our event supported a surprise 40th Birthday party for my wife. Most of our family is split up with distance across state and this beautiful property provided an absolutely perfect stay for them after long drives in. Everyone was super impressed with the accomodations. We were priveldged to use the barn for the actual surprise party and it provided adequate electric, space, and beautiful backgrounds for the decorations and picture taking. Everyone raved about the location and property lay out and my wife was indeed surprised and truly honored to spend her Birthday with her family and friends at such an incredible place. Once the party slowed on day 2, the family and close friends moved to the game room for friendly pool shooting and phooseball competitions and our laughter and smiles continued into the late hours!! Joe and his local Manager Charlie were so very helpful and there were no details missed when it came to helping me prepare and entertain. Even while I was on site they promptly responded to my requests. First class people, first class property! I can't relay enough positives and can't think of a single negative other than Mother Nature one one day. :) Joe and Maitland thank you so much for working with me and allowing me such a perfect oppurtunity to create a forever memory!!Pine Creek Farm's reply:

Martika Sent on 09/28/2016If you plan to have your wedding here, make sure to arrive early with cleaning supplies to clean up the barn & roadway. Bring lights for the cabin since not all bedroom lamps work, & the oven is outdated, don’t plan to bake anything. We had to spend 3 hours cleaning their barn from piles of bird & rat feces, a cow trough that was left in the center of the barn, a giant fan, a bunch of wedding signs, cleaning equipment & all the trash that was not picked in the designated bar area. The pond area where we planned to have our ceremony had newly planted trees with frost guards on them, even though we asked that it be mowed & cleaned for our ceremony. It took three hours for 14 people to clean up the barn & roadway, as well as a couple visits to Wellsboro for cleaning supplies.
Book here if you want to clean for a few hours, pay thousands and have cabin issues on top of all the stress you have from planning your big day! The last thing we expected to have issues with was the barn and cabin we rented about a year ago and it was our only issue.
To top it off, it's been over a month and we haven't received our deposit back or any respond as to why we will not be getting it back.Pine Creek Farm's reply:
We are sorry to hear your comments. Our intentions are to consistently exceed expectations. We hosted weddings the weekends prior to and following your weekend and received overwhelming responses of elated satisfaction.
I offer comments for clarity:
1) Lamp electric sockets are controlled by wall switches, and we DO have replacement bulbs available in the utility room. A phone call could have resolved this.
2) The LCD screen on the oven is faint. We have posted clear instructions above for the otherwise properly-functioning oven. A phone call could have resolved this.
3) The barn is an authentic 100+ year-old barn with occasional nighttime intrusions by pigeons and bats--what you saw were their droppings. There are absolutely no rats in the barn. The barn was cleaned the day before your arrival, and we could have re-swept it. A phone call could have resolved this.
4) Others have requested and offered a fee for use of the stainless steel "cow trough" as a large ice bucket to keep drinks cold. We decided to provide it free of charge to all, along with the signs and fan. These criticisms bring to mind the old saying that "...no good deed goes unpunished..."! Again, a simple phone call could have resolved this.
5) In our efforts to constantly improve the property, we have planted more than 800 seedlings around the property. We never imagined the three 12" seedlings planted near the pond would create a problem. Yes, a phone call could have resolved this.
6) Stating 14 people spent 3 hours each (totally then, more than 40 hours!) handling these matters indicates an exaggeration difficult to interpret.
Good communications and team efforts are the best way to ensure successful events. We hope this explanation provides a perspective that is consistent with our intent to please our guests and exceed expectations.
