Above and beyond experience!
My husband and I had a FANTASTIC experience working with Eternal Tides for our adventure elopement. Kelsi and Patrick were so fun, friendly, prepared, and professional throughout the entire process. They really did everything for us that we didn't even realize needed to happen- from planning the hike and giving us tons of options to choose from, to getting permits, and taking care of the marriage license filing afterwards- we barely had to lift a finger and just had fun and got married! Kelsi and Patrick felt like friends to us and made us feel so comfortable to be ourselves which resulted in beautiful pictures that truly showed our love and happiness on our special day. The photos we received turned out above and beyond our expectations, and we feel very lucky to have so many shots to remember our day by, and to share with friends and family. Book these guys ASAP they are the best! -

Do not look past them and stop looking for someone else. This couple is your best option. They took our elopement photographs and the results are breathtaking. They are so awesome with their service, they listen to what you want and have so many creative ideas, and for sure know about the perfect locations for your dream photos. When I was looking for a photographer I could see a couple with good portraits, your common beach photos...but theirs are on another level. I guess what they do is not just take a picture, but they let you be you in the most natural way andd by doing so they are able to capture the essense of a moment. I can't say enough good things about them because everything about the photoshoot was an experience I get to keep in my heart forever, and well I have photos that will last for a lifetime to share with my loved ones. I loved the service, the experience, the end results which are basically pieces of art. Everyone close to us that sees our photo session pictures can't stop expressing how much they love them. I am so thankful for them for giving me this unique way of remembering so beautifully this day that ment the world for me. THEY MAKE ART. -

First, they worked with us to reschedule our shoot when a hurricane was coming towards the islands and then flew to Maui just to make sure we got our engagement shoot! We could not have been more impressed and thankful. They were great at posing us and at working with us to get the exact shots we wanted as well as giving us some amazing candid shots (the trifecta of a great photographer). Kesli was so efficient and quick with all the organization and Patrick did an amazing job with the edits of our photos. They compliment each other so well and it obviously translates into their photography.
The overall experience was so much fun and we had a blast getting the shots. We also have received so many compliments on the photos so far. We are so glad we chose them to shoot our engagement photos, they are truly wonderful people and so much fun to work with! -

Working with Patrick and Kelsi was AMAZING. My spouse and I wanted to make our elopement an adventure and get married on a remote trail with a mountain vista. I suspect other photographers would have told us we were crazy or encouraged us to pick a road-side vista. But Patrick and Kelsi were totally up for the adventure and were essential in making our dream-elopement happen. They helped us find a location, hiked in the 2 miles with us, and captured our intimate elopement in the most beautiful spot. We also adventured with them for some pre-elopement photos - again, to a spot that blew us away and exceeded our expectations. They were very comfortable to work with, very responsive, creative, and personable. Their work is worth every dollar and then some. Having them as our photographers was the best decision we made. They truly went above and beyond in every aspect of our elopement. -
Natalie Sent on 06/23/2018My fiancée and I took engagement photos with Patrick and Kelsi at sunrise in Oahu. We hadn’t taken professional photos before so we really appreciated the direction and humor provided by them both. We are absolutely thrilled with how the photos turned out and plan to use one for our save the dates. They did a great job of going beyond the usual couples poses to find some creative shots. Kelsi was our main point of contact and the process of booking the photo shoot was very easy. We were also happy that Piliahola photography offered budget friendly sessions.

Patrick and kelsi are a power couple! They have an amazing eye for photography and I am absolutely in love with our wedding photos.
- They included our engagement session with our package, it rained one of the days and were very flexible to move the dates(thank you! It still rained but they were prepared with umbrellas and offered me their rainjackets). and included our DOG in our pictures💕💕💕
-They’re prompt with answering emails/texts/calls (brides know that’s huge when dealing with vendors!).
- They sent me my sneak peaks within 1 day of our wedding and my full edited gallery (400+ photos!) about 3 weeks later (sooo fast!).
-They’re style is very creative, unique, beautiful. They captured EVERY emotion and everyone LOVED our photos!!! I looked at so many instagrams and all over WeddingWire to find the best photographers and SO happy we went with eternal tides photography!

Kelsi was very prompt and responsive with planning and when we said we wanted a forest engagement shoot and didn't mind a bit of an adventure to get there she said she had the perfect spot - and she did! She and Patrick work so well together as a team, and make it a fun, comfortable experience. I am amazed by how comfortable and natural I felt during the shoot. We had a great afternoon hanging out in an amazing forest waterfall, and got some incredible photos out of it. Patrick has such a good eye for light in his photos and with their coaching, posing, and professional but comforting demeanor, we caught some really beautiful, natural moments. I am so pleased and can't recommend them enough! -

Malia Sent on 10/09/2018Absolutely INCREDIBLE experience! Kelsi and Patrick are an awesome team. I have never had photos taken of me professionally, so I was a little nervous that I would be “awkward” or not know how to pose. Those worries were eased when Kelsi and Patrick suggested poses for us. We purchased the wedding package where we took engagement photos included. They are very good at what they do. They have a skill that is so unique and they were able to catch us in candid and fun moments. I don’t think I stopped laughing and smiling the entire time because we had so much fun! My fiancé and I wanted to incorporate a surfboard because we both love the water. Patrick went in the water with us and suggested poses and at one point, we had a turtle swim under us! (We didn’t know until after our edits came out). For those of you like me, who sit counting the minutes to see the photos, don’t worry because they send you a sneak peak of a few pictures just a few days later! And then the entire gallery is out really quickly! I am looking forward to our wedding photos, and I plan to stay in contact for future shoots I may want to have! Thanks Patrick and Kelsi! You two rock.

They helped us decide what location would capture our relationship and what we love about Hawaii the best. They made us feel so comfortable and helped us pose in a way that looked natural. The fact that they work as a team really makes it a great experience. Kelsi even made me a haku to wear! I am very impressed with the whole process and absolutely LOVE how the photos turned out. They really listened to what we were looking for in our engagement photos and made it happen! Their communication from start to finish was also incredible. We had the photos back within a week! I 100% recommend using them!!

Eint Sent on 09/09/2018Kelsi and Patrick are the sweetest photography couple! They really worked well together and were always in sync with their goals for the vision of the photography. They were also very easy to book and super accommodating. My husband and I wanted clean and crisp photos with vibrant colors and a dreamy feel and they definitely delivered. Our wedding was at sunset in Ko'olina and all their pictures definitely captured the exact style that we wanted! We would definitely book them again for all our future special occasions!!

Simply the Best!
In a sentence: Patrick and Kelsi are the most positive, easy-going people to welcome into your wedding team. Their flexibility and understanding is worth its weight in gold. They truly understand the chaos that comes with planning and executing a wedding—before, during, and after! We could not have been more thrilled with our experience.
It all started with our engagement session, which reminded us of all the reasons we were planning a wedding in the first place. Our shoot was at our wedding site; under Kelsi and Patrick's gentle direction, we gazed at each other and (our camping weekend equivalent of) seating charts vanished from our minds. Ankles-deep in the soft sand, with the tide lapping at our feet, we were reminded of the forces that brought us together and would continue to bind us through our wedding day and beyond.
We were so lucky to have Patrick and Kelsi capture the general merriment and memorable chaos of our wedding day. From hilarious shots of the wedding party collectively cheering to photos of happy guests, the “general vibe” photos make the perfect inserts into personalized thank you cards. We are so grateful that Pilialoha Photography captured the precious moments of our wedding day that we might have missed in all the hustle and bustle.

I was looking to surprise my wife with 5 year wedding anniversary pictures since we eloped and weren't able to get any at the time. I didn't know what to do or where to begin. So glad I found Kelsi and Patrick! They did not make it hard at all! They were very professional, energetic and fun! My wife and I were able to be ourselves, have fun and get the best quality pictures we have ever seen! If you're looking to hire someone who makes you feel comfortable and catch the feeling of your relationship, you should really think about Kelsi and Patrick! You will not regret it!
