Look no further: you don’t want any other venue!

Pierpont Place is a FABULOUS event center for all events but particularly weddings. I held my wedding there recently and I truly cannot complain. Marissa, my event coordinator, made sure that everything went off without a hitch. From the moment we inquired to the moment we were walking down the isle everything was covered. The decor was beautiful and was just how I envisioned. Her direction with my bridal party was immaculate. The coordination between the DJ, caterer, and everyone else was seamless. I would 1000% recommend.

One of my favorite venues

I’ve photographed multiple weddings and events at Pierpont Place, and it’s always a fantastic experience. The venue is stunning, versatile, and full of character, making it an amazing backdrop for weddings of all styles.

The team at Pierpont Place is organized, professional, and truly supportive of both couples and vendors, which makes the entire day run smoothly. From planning through execution, everything feels intentional and well cared for.

From a photographer’s perspective, the light, layout, and atmosphere are incredible. I’m always excited when a couple chooses Pierpont Place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-run wedding venue.

Pierpont is the best in Utah!

Pierpont was amazing at helping me plan my wedding. Janice was great, and provided all the needs and wants for my wedding. My wedding was perfect, and I would do it all over again with Pierpont. They all just made it so easy. Thank you for creating my magical perfect wedding day!

Accommodating, fun to work with, stress free!

Janice and her team are spectacular! Our wedding was everything we wanted it to be and more. Designed beautifully, coordinated wonderfully (and we had three dogs in our wedding!), executed perfectly! All of the little details were perfect and made it all the more special. We had a lot of difficult factors to work with, and Janice and her team pulled it off seamlessly. I just got my pictures back and I cannot stop looking at them! Dani did a wonderful job capturing every moment and now I have a million pictures I need to print out! I cannot recommend this team more!

Absolutely Perfect!

Taylor, and the rest of the Pierpont team made out wedding absolutely incredible. they were very easy to work with and made sure we had everything we wanted. and the day of the wedding went by so smoothly. i would use them again and again!

Exceptional and Wonderful Event

We had our wedding reception bath Pierpont Place and it was perfect from the first planning meeting until the minute we left after the reception.
Taylor was very professional, motivated, responsive and organized everything for our reception. She took all our ideas and created a wonderful and memorable event for us. The decoration better than we could have ever imagined and the ambience was more than perfect as well; we received so many compliments on everything.
The whole team made sure we were happy and had a great time. All vendors (food, flower, music) were organized and taken care of by Taylor so we did not have to worry about it.

Best venue and staff in SLC!

Janice and her crew were 10/10! She made our dream wedding come to life! Janice made us feel like family. We did not have to worry about anything! Everything from the linens, decor, flower, food, drinks, etc was taken care of. All I had to do was show up and walk into my fairy tale wedding. I was absolutely blown away with the attention to detail. Not a thing was missed. She made sure my wife and I enjoyed every moment. We didn’t have to worry about what comes next, she was right there to keep us on track. She even made sure we took a second to sit down relax, enjoy the food and take it all in. She kept a close eye the entire evening to make sure everything came together. The venue it’s self has a very cool modern city vibe, and all dressed up wow.. was it exquisite! Everything was just how I had thought up in my head and then brought to life. I can’t say enough about how effortlessly beautiful the entire experience was. I would get married every weekend if I could with the help of Janice and Pierpont Place!

Everything she wanted

They say a happy wife is a happy life so finding the perfect experience for our first moments as a married couple together was paramount. The staff, from the caterers to our wedding planner, were absolutely amazing to work with. They saw our vision and made it a reality.

Outstanding!

I was a maid of honor to a wedding here and I was so amazed by the staff! Everything looked so perfect and the food was so good! The bar service is what sold me though!! I would seriously recommend you guys to anyone looking for a place to get married!

Beautiful wedding , everything was perfect

Janice and Taylor did an awesome job with our wedding, it was everything we asked for, plus 10.
Everything ran so smoothly, and they treated us like we were family.
Food, and bar service was great.
Floral and the whole set up was awesome,

I am so happy we chose to get married at Pierpont and I'm so grateful for Janice. She made everything so easy for me and when I had to change the date of my wedding it was no big deal. The space is gorgeous and the staff is amazing.

We held our 40th High School Reunion August 2017 at Pierpont Place. I really appreciated how they worked with our budget and created a fantastic space for us to mix and mingle after 40 years. The space fit our color scheme, the decorations were spot on, the food was excellent, the DJ a riot and the service was supreme. What's more, they were very flexible to work with and very patient with us and our planning. I would highly recommend them for your events. Thanks Pierpont for creating such a wonderful and memorable experience for our class.

They made everything literally perfect, I have no complaint! Janice not only cared about making our day special but she also cared about how our relationship was. You can tell everyone who worked there is really passionate about their job, and I will always refer them to people because it was the best day I ever had, and it was because they made it perfect!

They made my dreams come true and worked around my budget. I can't imagine our wedding at any other venue. They made sure to really get to know me and added details that I have always wanted and didn't even know we could afford. My guests probably thought we spent thousands and thousands more than we actually paid. It was amazing and so beautiful. They made the big day even more enjoyable. Ten out ten would go to them if I had to do it all again. I can already tell I'll be there to celebrate events to come.

We got married at Pierpont Place this past Marc, and we loved every second of it! Janice and Taylor we amazing! They adressed every and any concern that we had. They made everything so easy and they dealt with my not so easy family. I loved how they provided everything we needed. There's not enough words how greatful I am for easy they made this for me. We live in Las Vegas, NV so I was very worried about how things would pan out. However, they were great with all the details and took care of everything, I would do it all over again if I could.

Pierpont was literally a perfect place for our luncheon and reception. The coordinator that we had, Taylor, was the most wonderful person we could have asked for. She was 100% supportive of our ideas, and allowed us to give everything that we had in our minds, and it lead to an event that was unique and made just for us. We were in awe with how great of a day it was.
One of the highlights for us was that we just showed up, partied, and left. There wasn't anything that we had to set up or take down. As far as planning, we had to show up and let them know how we wanted things decorated, what color linens, flowers, and what food we wanted. They were very accommodating and really made us feel like it would be a reception for us, not just for our friends.

My wife and I had a magnificent wedding! Janice and her outstanding team (Taylor, Ashley, and Mel) were able to work with us to create a stress free and perfect Wedding!!! We live in California and Janice was able to help us get everything we needed set up with only one prior visit to fly out and do tastings. She communicated excellently via email and telephone prior to the event to get exactly what we wanted.

She was able to help us arrive at a cohesive vision with our vague desires, she kept us on schedule and helped us set boundaries to meet our budget. She knew how to manage the timing of particular wedding events, during the wedding, and helped us make sure we got to spend time with all of our loved ones.

The designers were able to implement our custom items we sent them into the overall theme of the wedding, which included subtle accents to combine highlights of California's beautiful beaches with our Utah venue at Pierpont Place.

We wanted very specific things, like particular outside vendors including Red Iguana and a local DJ, and Janice and company were able to meet with them to make it perfect! She worked with outside vendors very well, supplied and excellent photographer Danielle Zaugg Photography and a Photobooth at VERY competitive prices.

She was also able to accommodate other fun requests we made to have a fun-filled wedding. Guests had access to both play table-tennis and foos-ball!

I would recommend PierPont Place for anyone looking for a reduced-stress, professional, customized, and fun wedding experience.

Pierpont staff made the wedding so completely stress free. I smile when I think about all of the people that asked us months or even days before the wedding how stressed we were. The smile comes when the answer was NO, everything was completely taken care of with Pierpont.

Janice and her whole team at Pierpont were wonderful to work with! They took our vision and transformed it into a beautiful event. We did not have to worry about the preparation, set-up or take down which took a lot of pressure and responsibility off of our team. We also had some last minute changes and Janice was kind, understanding, flexible to work with and made sure that everything was adjusted and taken care of.

I recently (end of June) had my dream wedding here and couldn't be happier. The planner "Janice" was not only helpful and attentive, but went above and beyond anything I could have hoped for. From bar service, food, dj, photographer and decor it was amazing. She worked well within my smaller than average budget and made me feel like no matter the money it would be the most magical day of my life. It was! Our family and friends kept telling us how wonderful it all looked, or tasted. The staff was all smiles on point and made sure we took a breather so we could eat, which I completely spaced till she pointed this out. Laughter love and hugs to all the Pierpont crew for making this an easy process and so much fun. I can't wait to have another great experience with Janice and her fabulous team.

When looking for a wedding venue I had a very specific atmosphere that I wanted, upon walking into Pierpont Place, I just new that was the place! It had the exact look and feel that we were going for! Janice and her staff we so incredibly amazing to work with, and accommodating in all aspects of the planning and our wedding turned out more than perfect! I couldn't recommend Pierpont Place enough!!!

We attended a recent event there, and it brought back such great memories and was still the magnificent venue we remembered! Great work Janice!!

Janice and her team were magnificent! I had a few ideas and examples of what I wanted for our wedding... they took those, and developed the most magical event of my life! The lighting was perfect, the ambiance, flowers, colors, and overall vibe - perfectly aligned with my vision, even though I never could clearly define or explain what my "vision" was for the event. Janice took the time to personally get to know me and my fiance, and intuitively knew exactly what was important in making our day complete. I cannot adequately express my gratitude, through a simple review, to Janice and her spectacular staff. It was an absolutely flawless event - and I am forever indebted to her for her graciousness and responsiveness to all that happened (planned or unplanned) during that evening!!

Absolutely amazing. I chose Pierpont for my August 2013 wedding venue because of unique space. I could not be more happy. We wanted more of a nightclub atmosphere and less of a traditional wedding feel. Janice put everything together perfectly and the place looked exactly the way we hoped for. In addition the food was amazing and the cake vendor we used through her was crazy delicious. Janice also helped so much with the rehearsal and other pre-wedding details I had not thought of. I 100% recommend Pierpont

My husband and I were having such a hard time trying to find a venue... Such a hard time that we came to the point where we thought of just going to Vegas to get married. We went on Google and searched for venues in Utah. We had seen Pierpont Place. At first I thought it would be too small of a place. But we decided to check it out anyway. We met with Ashley Francis (wedding coordinator). My husband and I just fell in love with the venue, the location being that it is in the heart of Salt Lake City and HER!! We knew that was the place. She was so friendly and very focused on what we wanted to see and happen for our reception.

We wanted to have Filipino and Mexican food. A lot of the venues we had seen did not allow outside food. But Ashley made that happen for us. She was helpful, and you can tell she wanted to help us have the reception we had envisioned. We told her how we had wanted our reception to look and feel, and she put that all together. Everything turned out PERFECT!! Our guests were in AWE for how amazing our reception looked. The lighting, the decor, the music, flowers, etc. were BEAUTIFULLY put together. She really worked with us to bring a simple idea and brought it into reality!!! Even while pregnant she was very dedicated to the task at hand and excelled beyond expectations!!! We wish we could go back in time to have it happen all over again!! That is how AMAZING OUR RECEPTION WAS!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH ASHLEY!! IT WAS A DREAM COME TRUE and YOU MADE OUR DAY VERY SPECIAL!!

Pierpont place is perfect!
There is no other way to describe them. they took care of me through all the planning. they took care of everything.
My wedding was so perfect because of danielle and all of her hard work. she put up with my questions concerns and me just plain being a pain. Danielle and Pierpont place turned my dream wedding into more than I could ever imagine.

Selecting Pierpont Place for my May 10th wedding was the best decision I made. Ashley at Pierpont was my saving grace. She planned a perfect wedding. The venue looked beautiful and the process was so easy and smooth. I would recommend Pierpont place to anyone!

Every single detail was perfect, the decorations and venue was absolutely beautiful, and the vendors they partnered with also provided a great/professional service. They stayed within our budget and had great communication throughout the planning process. They 100% know what they are doing, and were on top of things! The wedding went so smoothly! The DJ, Ignacio Garcia rocked, he played the best music and got everyone onto the dance floor. The food was amazing- and the cake/cupcakes were perfect (One Sweet Slice)! The photographer, Kristi (Kendall's Media) was the BEST! such a great value, and the sweetest lady, and her pictures were amazing!

I will always be grateful to Janice, Ashley and the Pierpont team in making our wedding day such a magical event! I strongly recommend this venue and team to any bride!

Pierpont is excellent at what they do. We let our wedding planner, Ashley do all the decorations and it was truly gorgeous. Kristi, the photographer is a fast shooter, and does beautiful work. They planned out the whole night for us, because we had no idea what we were doing. They were flexible to when we wanted to do things. Its also very nice that everything is in one place: the cake, the flowers, decorations, DJ, officiant. It made our wedding less stressful, and we could really enjoy it with Ashley taking care of everything for us.

Pierpont Place is an absolutely incredible place to get married. Janice Boes and her staff go above and beyond to make sure that every detail is covered. I had a very specific idea in my head when I decided to get married at Pierpont Place and Janice Boes and Ashley Francis completely aligned with my vision and made my beautiful shabby chic/vintage wedding a dream come true. It was an incredible gift to not have to worry about a thing when I was getting ready on the morning of my wedding because I knew absolutely everything was being taken care of and everything would be ok. When I arrived at the venue my breath was taken away. Chandeliers were hung, flowers were placed on the tables and I truly was about to have the wedding of my dreams. One of the biggest advantages of having your wedding/reception at Pierpont Place is that you are able to decide on the look and feel of your wedding/reception. My daughter had some ideas on what she wanted and Janice and her team really delivered. I still remember how beautiful the place looked when we arrived. I was blown away! Another huge advantage is they provided everything from food, cake, photography, flowers, etc. Janice and her team were amazing!!

Pierpont Place is the wedding venue that every bride is looking for and dreaming of! Janice Boes and Ashley Francis helped to create the wedding of my dreams and they followed through with every promise and allowed my wedding to truly be the best day of my life. The staff at Pierpont place is incredible and I would recommend this venue to any bride! Ashley went above and beyond by not only completely executing my vision but adding touches and decorative accents that I didn't even think of but that totally completed the look. If picking my husband was the best choice I made for my wedding, picking Pierpont Place was the second best choice.

Pierpont Place took my vision, colors and theme and turned them into a beautiful reception that was far beyond my expectations. Even the smallest details were fantastic, perfect flowers, decadent food displays, elegant lighting. I was AMAZED at how gorgeous the reception looked. The Pierpont staff members (Janice especially) are more than just party planners. They know exactly how to fit all the pieces of a wedding together. I didn't realize my event could be this good!

In the planning stages Pierpont recommended, helped select and eventually coordinated excellent vendors, including the florist, DJ and caterer. I was astonished at how easily these complicated wedding elements came together and were totally covered by the Pierpont Team. I never even had to research these vendors... Pierpont did it for me!

And in executing the wedding reception they were always at the right place at the right time. They made sure family and friends were in place and prepared for toasts, important moments and special dances. My drink glass was refilled (without me even thinking about it) and I never ONCE felt rushed or overwhelmed. I just enjoyed the party.

I wish I could give Pierpont a 10 on this 1-5 scale. I had the greatest day of my life and Pierpont made it happen.

I want to personally thank all of the amazing staff at Pierpont Place! I have photographed several types of events at this venue and am blown away by the attention to detail and how they they always go the extra mile to make each event special :) In fact, I photograph all over and Pierpont far surpasses expectations consistently. If you want to host a dinner, event, wedding, party, or any other occasion you want to feel special, have turn out beautifully and be completely satisfied with I would 110% recommend Pierpont! In fact, they provided the decor and flowers for my personal wedding and I was astounded by how far they exceed my expectations :) Love you ladies!!!

Our wedding would have never taken place if it were not for Janice, her amazing staff and Pierpont Place! We had be...en engaged for quite a long time and Janice was the one who made it all happen and with such finesse. At first I had no idea what I was doing or what I wanted to do but then Janice and her staff helped me all the way. IT was so fun to meet her staff and vendor partners. We had our wedding in August at Pierpont Place and it exceeded everything we would have hoped for! Janice, our coordinator, took care of everything for us. I remember walking in for our rehearsal and the place looked amazing and it wasn't even done yet. She helped us find our officiant and we will never forget our ceremony. I would definately recommend Pierpont Place as it is very unique, unlike any other venue in town.

My wife is making me write this review. But i'm happy to do it. Our wedding was last August, and it was really fun. Of course the wife decided on decor and everything else with the coordinator lady, I just showed up, but everything was really nice. The decorations were awesome, the food was good! The service overall was excellent. They were eager to please. I'm glad they have a bar service! That was I was worried about. Pretty cool venue.

Pierpont Place is a phenomenal place to have any event. Located in the heart of downtown it offers a great venue which is beautiful on the inside and out. Working with everyone there is incredible. They are extremely helpful, courteous, prompt, polite, and enthusiastic about your event! We held a last minute impromtu non-profit reception there that turned out to be the highlight of our conference weekend thanks to the generous in-kind donations of facility rental, decorations, staff time and much much more. The staff's flexibility, dedication, and professional assistance were truly amazing! Would recommend doing business with them anytime again! In advance if possible for their sake! Mil gracias! I decided to have my ceremony and reception at Pierpont Place because of how modern, and downtown chic the venue was. It was a perfect location for the hip wedding I was looking for. I couldn't believe how nice and helpful my coordinator was. She helped me find everything from my photographer, to the cute favors I handed out (little mini pine trees!) She really took the time to care for my fiance and I and our mixed ideas! We didn't anything that we wanted and she was beyond helpful with ideas and bringing out the best of us, in our decor, flowers, and everything! Service is excellent. The food was delish. I hope to have my birthday party here next year! Love it!

Pierpont Place did an amazing and outstanding job on our Wedding Day. Since the very beginning of sitting down with the wedding planners they were beyond helpful on helping us put our special day together that worked with our budget and our unique personalities. Having them go over our colors, food, photography,music,and our own unique design, our beautiful day turned out even better than I could have ever imagined. My husband and I loved that we had the chance to sit down and sample food to put our own menu together....they even had our own special cocktails and special non alcholic beverages made just for our wedding. My husband and I didnt have the stress of putting the wedding together because Pierpont did it all for us. We highly recommend Pierpont Place to celebrate your special day. We LOVED Pierpont Place. It was the perfect location for a winter wedding. We were able to transform the venue into exactly what we wanted, and it turned out perfectly. We worked with Ashley Edmondston there and she was great to work with. She made all the little details a breeze. She has excellent taste, and made sure everything ran smoothly the night of. I could not have asked for anything better!

Pierpont allows you to plan a custom wedding - whatever you want (within reason) they can provide. They are FULL service and basically a 1-stop CUSTOM shop. Beautiful, modern building that you can transform into whatever you want. Bring pictures to help focus what you want your day to look like. I would do it again, but I'm glad I don't have to :)

This wasn't a wedding it was a business party and Pierpont worked with us on all facets of the evening: decor, bar, lighting, set up, total event planning. Every thing they promised and more was done professionally and with great cheer. They were flexible with our changing needs and suggested improvements on what we envisioned.

Pierpont has amazing talent doing their event planning! The decor is phenomenal. The venue has everything to offer from linens to flowers to food. I highly recommend Pierpont Place as your preferred event venue. They take the stress out of planning.

I fell in love with Pierpont Place after one look at the venue. I loved the raw industrial feel to it. The final outcome of the actual wedding day was more beautiful than I could have ever dreamed of. Luckily, Ashley Francis was there to help dream it up. She did wonderful design work and coordination. I must confess that i was a little worried about everything coming together (as many brides are with wedding planning) but really, I had nothing to worry about. I have had endless compliments on the look, feel and style of the wedding; which I would like to take credit for, but in reality it was all Ashley. She responded to all my concerns and helped me to feel at ease and envision the wedding and ceremony every step of the way. I could not be more pleased with the service and outcome of the event. Thank you Ashley Francis! She took care of everything! Literally!

What I loved about Pierpont Place was it's unique modern feel. The owner was amazing at decorating for our wedding day and I feel I got exactly what I was looking for. I loved working with Pierpont because the owner coordinates your wedding with you which takes a lot of stress off of the bride. :) I love how the building is transformed for each and every event and that is because there is a great team of people that work there and keep you in mind.

Janice and her staff from Premier Events planned my 2008 wedding. It was not an easy location. We got married on the top of a mountain at Snowbird then had our reception at Our Lady of the Snows in Alta. The reception site was just an empty room. Janice and her team made it look magical. Wonderful food, fabulous music (she picked the band), drinks, outdoor space and a million dollar view of the mountains. It was so nice to leave all the details to someone else. I didn't even go to the reception site the day of the wedding until the party. I knew it would be just as we had envisioned it - and it was.

My wedding day turned out gorgeous. I couldn't have asked for more from the set up, decorations, food, and cake. It was always difficult to get in touch with Janice but she and her staff pulled it off in the end and all I needed to worry about was showing up. I worked with Janice to plan my wedding at Pierpont Place it was wonderful. Janice made the whole experience very stress free I told her what colors we liked and what flowers we didn't, everything else was just handled for us. I hardly had any stress about the wedding or reception at all. I was a great party, everyone even weeks later is saying that it was the so much fun and well planned out it was. Janice and Ashley were amazing and made it so all I had to worry about was getting there on time. They gave us the name of photographers, officiants, caterers and DJs all we had to do was show up to the meeting that she made for us and them let them know which one we wanted. I desperately wanted to avoid having the typical Utah wedding line and Janice made sure that happened. I gave slightly lower marks for flexibility as it was difficult getting together with them as my husband and I both work thus, leaving only evenings and weekends open to meet and plan things and Pierpont obviously has events then. It was an amazing time; if I could do it again I would do so in a heartbeat.
The only real criticism I had was with the caterer that we contracted with through Pierpont. We had dinner for the wedding guests followed by dancing, cocktails and appetizers for the reception. My husband and I felt the food stopped too early, we never ate any of our reception food ( I heard it was very good). There were also service delays; we thought that we had run out of wedding cake because the table was empty for 30 minutes when in reality they just hadn't resupplied it. I would recommend the caterer as he had amazing food and went out of his way to make everything gluten free for us.

I absolutely loved my wedding at Pierpont Place! I was worried when I first when to look at the venue that I'd never be able to afford my "on a budget" wedding at such a cool venue.... I was wrong! I worked with Ashley to plan my wedding and she did what she could to make sure my wedding would be hat I wanted. I'm sure she got sick of me asking "how much is this, how much is that" but she continued to be helpful and created an absolutely beautiful night for me. I was SO impressed when I walked into the venue the night of my wedding... everything looked better than I could have imagined and every detail was attended to... she had a bottle of champagne and 2 glasses sitting in the bridal room so my new husband and I could have a moment to ourselves. We weren't able to eat anything during our reception (go figure) and at the end of the night Ashley was there with some PF Changs take out so that we didn't starve on our honeymoon night. All these little details really made the wedding day stress-free and enjoyable. I plan events for the company I work for on a regular basis, and I look forward to working with Pierpont again in the future!

Great wedding.

We absolutely loved having our wedding here. It was a bast and all of the staff was amazing. The decorations were great but we felt could have been better. The Dj, we choose was on the lower end and he defiantly sounded like he was on the lower end. Things were not set up 100% like we had planned with the wedding planner, and things got lost and weren't done that we expected the wedding planner to have, since that was her job. However, our experience and wedding overall was great and it could have just been a fluke. I would recommend this place in a heart beat.

My son and his wife had their reception at Pierpont Place last year. It turned out so nice. We loved the setting and the value was great. The catering was really very good. We did have some problems being able to get hold of Janice. And then some of the items we agreed to over the phone had to be readdressed two days before the wedding and that was stressful. We live out of town so planning long distance was stressful when we had a hard time communicating with her. Overall it was a great experience.

When I planned to have my wedding at this location they gave me a base line of what I would end up paying. I ended up paying hundreds more than they had initially told me. We made contact the week before the wedding making sure everything was going to happen the way we had discussed I was assured that it would be beautiful and everything would go as planned. When I showed up and all my guests were there I noticed that no one took off there coats. I guess the heat never turned on. Not one decoration we had talked about was set up. they said we would have a very large TV to show a picture video I had created. when was set up was a very small lap top screen, it took them an hour to finally set a projector. We had discussed putting up the fabric on the ceiling like most people do in the pictures. Well apparently mine got lost at the dry cleaners and so it ended up looking like we had our reception in an abandoned building. They told me the food would be great and that they had ordered enough food. Well they didn't order food for even half my guests. Most people went out to eat after things were done. Only a few people got a piece of cake. Its a good thing I was not an angry bride. But I regret my wedding and wish I could do it completely over again!
