  We got married here in April 2018. We could not have planned a better place to get married. The coordination with Say Yes in Key West was flawless and everyone helped make our day absolutely perfect! We opted to reserve one of the rooms overlooking the sunset terrace, where our reception was held, and it made for the most amazing experiences and pictures. The food (steak and lobster) was superb. The space was gorgeous. Everyone was nice and accommodating. If I had to do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing! Hope to see Pier House on our 1 year anniversary to celebrate!

  My husband and I were married at The Pier House on 6/16/18 and we couldn't have been happier choosing this venue for our special event. Sonia, along with all of the staff, were great! We had a very non traditional ceremony and reception, and all of our guests said it was one of the best times that they have ever had. As Bride and Groom, being pulled in every direction, we did not get the chance to sample the food, but we heard from all of the guests that everything that was brought out tasted amazing.   Caitlin was incredibly attentive to our specific questions and requests throughout the entire planning process. The grounds are beautiful and perfectly maintained. The food was delicious! Our guests talked about the tuna tataki for days afterwards. The staff day-of was professional, without being stuffy, and perfectly handled our vendor and gluten-free meals for 2 guests. Randy in the billing department communicated with us clearly and quickly.

  Absolutely loved Pier House! Venue was beautifully set up. Everything was ready to go as we requested and per our itinerary. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Loved pier house so much we plan on using them for anniversaries and such in the future. Anyone looking to get married in beautiful key west, look no further than Pier House

  All I can say about this resort, is WOW! Truly amazing and what a great experience for us and our wedding party. We stayed at the resort for 7 days( pure bliss). The entire staff is polite and very accommodating. Jessica Cranney went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day went great! She made this whole process run smoothly and without any problems. We got married in the private beach area at the resort and the views are priceless. The pictures are perfect. I can't say enough about how we love the Pier House! Thanks for an amazing time, that we will never forget!

  Very nice hotel/resort! We used the beach terrace for the wedding and it turned out perfect. I would definitely go back to this hotel for vacation and recommend as a venue.

  Lee Sheehan was absolutely phenomenal! When I started planning a year ago we had Jessica as our catering manager and I was not entirely happy with how things were progressing. Lucky for us, Lee was hired in October and was nothing but spectacular through the whole process. She took all of my concerns into consideration and made sure my wedding was perfect. I can't say enough great things about her, Pier House is lucky to have her and she was instrumental in making my wedding day a true dream. The venue is beautiful and the staff are great. Our guests have not stopped raving about the food. We can't wait to return for our one year anniversary!

  This is a beautiful venue for ceremony and reception. All the staff was very professional and responsive to all my requests. Planning a destination wedding without being there made me a little nervous, but at the end it all came together so perfect thanks to their help.

  During our wedding in Key West Florida we stayed, had our reception and used the Spa at Pier House and i would recommend that anyone looking to have a small intimate wedding in Key West to do so here! What a wonderful week we experienced and thank you also for introducing us to the very talented Larry Smith! You see us again as guests!!

  Beautiful place for a wedding on the beach, reception on sunset terrace over water. Jessica Cranney was superb. Very professional staff, beautiful clean rooms, and all vendors they use are superb. Jessica takes care of all details so the brides do not have to stress. Awesome!

  We used the wedding planner Elizabeth Rose who at the time (2007) worked on weddings in Key West. Now she works on Miami beach
  weddings. www.intimatemiamibeachweddings.com is her new website. She was amazing. We planned our wedding in 5 weeks and she made our dreams comes true. The Pier House was incredible. We had our ceremony on their beach and then an intimate dinner on our own private outdoor deck.   I disagree with the last comment, we had our entire family stay with the Pier House for four days during our wedding. We had a remarkable time! Teresa Ebeling had helped me plan the entire wedding and was very prompt and professional... always helpful & patient with any decisions we were making. The wedding turned out fabulous! It was beautiful, and SO much fun! I highly reccommend this resort to anyone. We had a friend get married at the Pier House one year prior, and I am so happy that they reccommended it to us- We will be going back there for sure!!

  We got married on the sunset Pier and loved it! The view was beautiful and everyone loved being right on the water. The Pier has a lot more room than the beach. I'm glad we chose it even though we had a small party. The tables and chairs provided were beautiful and minimal decoration was needed with the sunset and water views. The Pierhouse has everything you need and I can't wait to stay. There when we come back to visit!

  We had our ceremony and reception at the Pier House on the Sunset terrace. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and we fell in love with it from the time we saw it. Let me start off by saying that the day of the ceremony, everything went great! The food was great, the staff was great! However, the couple weeks before the wedding were extremely stressful which is what I tried to avoid. The setup for the ceremony on the beach was beautiful, the food at the reception was great, and the waitstaff were polite and helpful. At our request, the caterer did a great job adding some of our wedding flowers to a Key Lime Pie so we could have a pretty one to cut for pictures. A great Key West twist to a fun reception tradition!
  
  During our stay here, the rest of the hotel staff were a little rude, and the rooms are overpriced for what you get. So I would recommend having your ceremony and reception here, but staying someplace else.

  Beautiful location for wedding ceremony. No problems in communication via emails. Food was very good. Great wine bar to visit after dinner, beautiful deck on the water. Only complaint was that the 3 courses were very slow, all the guests said that was the only thing they would change.

We could have had an arch for $350.00, but we thought that was a bit pricey for a 20 minute ceremony. I had to get dressed in the spa, which is warm environment.   Our complaint was with the service we were given in planning. To say that the two contacts were disinterested seems pretty accurate. Every detail or enquiry came from us, and rather than have a concise wedding document, what we had was dozens of disorganized emails back and forth (often with them forgetting that we had already discussed/selected certain options). I guess the issue stems from the fact that you have one ceremony contact and one for the reception (down to having to specify and negotiate things like flowers twice. All bills were also split, which was confusing on our end). Neither seemed very interested in the kinds of ideas and details that make your wedding day special and memorable for you and all of your guests.
  
  Please also note there is only one seat in the on site salon (as at July 2014). I had a treatment there and it was great- but please note that they would not be able to do wedding party prep (though you are encouraged to do that). Try infinity hair instead- a 2 minute walk away and much better set up.
  
  As I said- we lucked out on the weather, and were very impressed with the staff there at the event on the day. Not impressed by the disorganized planning process. It is frustrating, because very little would be needed to iron those stressful bumps out.
  
  Would we recommend them? As a wedding venue, they have a great location, which is hard to knock. There are other neat options like Truman's Little White House, but few places with the same beachfront views and location. You just need to be organized and prepared on your end.

  I planned my wedding over a year ago and when I was told Teresa the wedding coordinator was promoted and someone new was taking her place in October 2010, I was very nervous. Emails were not answered promptly and I figured the new person needed time to get into the position. I emailed her all of the emails between Teresa and I and tried several times to confirm all of the details, but to no avail. I changed the wedding arch right after I made the reservation and Teresa changed it, had several email conversation with the new person and still a week before my wedding, received a bill with the arch in it. It didn't get better when we arrived. The venue itself is beautiful and the weather was perfect. My bridesmaids were not allowed into the wedding area because there was a yoga class going on until 10am, my wedding was scheduled to start at 10:30 with prelude and seating at 10:15. The wedding coordinator was rude to my bridesmaids and needless to say things were set up very quickly and incorrectly by the Pier House. My bridesmaids had no time to check the venue set up and make sure it was correct. I had specifically asked for the chairs to be arranged so that the grooms side was not right in front of the groomsmen for pictures and even sent a diagram of how I wanted the chairs all to face forward and the grooms side was sideways facing the ceremony area with only a foot distance between the chairs and my circle of flowers where we would stand for the ceremony. The groomsmen had to stand between that blocking the view for some guests and none of the pictures of the entire wedding party during the ceremony were nice because there were chairs and guests blocking the sand table and groomsmen. The wedding was beautiful and we were very happy the day of, Peter and Sharon Estenov(the photographer and officiant) and Bongo D(the steel drummer) were wonderful and made our day:) just think the Pier House needs to look at these reviews and get organized in their wedding department. Wedding planning is certainly not an area that you can scramble or put together at the last minute.

  The wedding coordinator completely dropped the ball at our wedding here. She did not escort our guests to the beach, she did not set up the bar tab in the Wine Galley as promised and she disappeared during the ceremony. There was never a follow up, nor anything from her again. Even guests commented on her lack of service. I don't know how she even works in this business. Horrendous service. I would never recommend a wedding here for anyone.
  The Pier House staff and other services are actually pretty awesome. The Spa is great and their services to our wedding guests were fabulous.
