The dance floor was popping!!!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Eric Pickett, the owner of Pickett’s Dynamic Entertainment, as the DJ for our wedding and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. From the beginning, Eric was incredibly professional, detail-oriented, and genuinely committed to making sure the music was perfectly tailored to our tastes. He didn’t just play music - He created an amazing atmosphere. Eric also served as MC for the reception and did a fantastic job, keeping everything on track while maintaining great energy throughout the night. The dance floor was packed all evening, and we received so many compliments from our guests. He was professional, fun and engaging.

If you’re looking for a DJ who is not only talented but truly cares about making your event special, we highly recommend Pickett’s Dynamic Entertainment. Eric helped make our wedding unforgettable!!

The best!

We booked with B.G. for our wedding this past weekend. He was incredible!! He was super flexible and helped a ton when it came to rehearsal the night before. He was super easy to communicate with and replied within just a few minutes every time I messaged him with questions. He was super personable and one of the nicest people I have ever met. He made our wedding run super smoothly with emceeing. He made my dream wedding become a reality!! 5/5 stars!

Best DJ for my dream wedding!

Mr Pickett and BG were amazing to have at our wedding. We had things that were pretty specific that we wanted and he was very accommodating! Working with him was very easy and helped ease a lot of stress! He definitely made the ceremony and reception very special and we will never forget it! If I ever need another DJ or know someone who does, I’ll definitely be sending them to Eric!!

Phenomenal

BG was such a life saver to us on our wedding day! Our caterer was absolutely swamped and BG jumped right in there to help out in the kitchen before guests began to arrive. He also helped set up some last minute decor and was on top of making sure our big night went perfectly! He enthusiastically listened to everything that I asked of him, he was so incredibly polite, and even made last minute edits to our first dance song for me. I absolutely recommend him for your events because he really shows up and puts his heart into it!

Best around!!

B.G. kept the party going! Everyone from 74 to 4 years old was on the dance floor busting a move. And when he wasn't killing it with the music he kept everyone laughing. Wish I could have my wedding all over again so I could have him entertain us again. Until the next event we have!!

Perfect wedding reception

Eric saved the day for our son and daughter in laws reception. We had a DJ cancel at last minute and Eric saved the day. He was able to accommodate us and I am so glad he did. He was professional and had great music. Everyone enjoyed the reception and I am greatful he was able to DJ our event. I recommend him 100%.

Eric was an amazing DJ. We could not have asked for a better one. Thanks for making our day so special! Eric was so kind and friendly that all our guests thought he was a family friend. DJ for dance

BG brought his set up to our Halloween dance at LWC and not only did he play great music, but he was very affordable, responsive, kind, and patient. The whole experience as his customer was a breeze from beginning to end. Highly recommend.

Best part of my wedding

Eric and BG were hands down the BEST part of my wedding!

First I want to point out that they didn't just listen to the music we wanted to listen to. They went above and beyond. We were married long before our actual wedding, and we did not want to be announced as "the new Mr and Mrs." Other team members from the venue kept mentioning it, and BG stood up for us and told him that he heard us, understands, and repeated it back to the venue staff until they got it.

They were a huge part in PLANNING our wedding. I had no idea of all these little details, but they stepped in and helped me decide with what people usually do and how to tailor it to my wedding. They went above and beyond. They HEARD me and went out of their way to make my day.

We all obviously want our DJ to give us a party. And they DELIVERED. Absolutely killed it. The mixing and song implementations to things we wanted to hear were beyond what I could have expected. And they knew how to keep a party going. Whenever there was a little dull, Eric would come out and revive the party.

ALL of my guests came up to me and told us our DJ killed it, and we could not agree more.

Eric did a great job of getting to know us and our plans for the ceremony and reception. He made sure at the ceremony everyone was heard. He has great speakers and microphones ready. He had the reception ready to go right after. He was able to keep the order of the reception going and played games to call tables to eat. He played great music and everyone had fun.

Excellent DJ. Made our dream wedding day come true!!!!!

Eric was more than a DJ. He took a personal interest in our wedding. His equipment is top of the line and he will make it a party. He is now a lifelong friend. He kept our timetable on schedule and had everyone in a great mood. Our last dance was very special because of Eric. He had meetings with us to get to know us. It was like having the best man on the mic. He’s a super guy and made us laugh and smile all night.

Eric was a fantastic DJ for our wedding!! You can tell he enjoys his job and is most happy when the bride and groom are happy! I gave him a potentially overly thorough and excessively long list of songs and he called and went over all the important details to make sure all the best songs were played at the correct times. Also his website was super easy to use! I'm glad there was space for me to request songs as well as put notes and give him a rundown of the timeline for the big day. It made everything run super smooth. He definitely knows how to have a good time and will go above and beyond for your event!

A fantastic DJ!

Eric and Scott did an absolutely wonderful job at our wedding. They are a great team, with Scott acting as the DJ and Eric as the MC. Eric was incredibly communicative with us from start to finish, and he even was able to suggest some changes to our schedule on the day of the wedding to make sure that we were able to capture every important moment. Excellent Wedding/Reception Entertainment!

Eric and his team did an exceptional job for our August wedding at Lost River Cave. He contacted us periodically before the wedding date to establish the timeline, wedding sequence, songs, lighting, and special requests. He really did make the day feel as special as possible by accomplishing everything we asked for and even providing great suggestions for setup. Once everything was setup, the ceremony and reception went perfectly, with no technical hick-ups. The equipment provided was all high quality and expertly installed. Everyone I have spoken to has mentioned how much fun they had at the reception. These guys are the real deal!

Working with Pickett's Dynamic Entertainment for the music and lighting for our wedding , was the best choice we made! AMAZING! 10/10 recommend!!

We planned an out of state wedding so I was nervous about finding someone who could accommodate our music taste but Eric was recommended to me by the owner of our venue and I am so happy we went with him. He is such a nice person and he loves music. We wanted a lot of reggae and he did great. He helped in so many ways, truly a Kentucky treasure.

Mr. Pickett and his associate were nothing short of amazing! Extremely kind and helpful. Answered all our questions and was truly the backbone of our big day! Planning a COVID wedding was definitely a a pain, but with Eric as our DJ we had the BEST time! He kept everything so fun and upbeat! Eric made sure everything was exactly how we wanted! He moved the night right along, so there was no question as to what was going on. He played the BEST music. Truly memorable Wedding!

My fiance Kellen and I selected Dynamic Entertainment after comtacting several options for a wedding DJ. Music either makes a wedding or ruins it. I was given Eric's name and contact from a family friend who was more than pleased when he did their wedding. Hands down we couldn't have made a better choice. Eric is very knowledgeable about every genre of music and helps design the perfect soundtrack for your wedding. He made it so simple to give him a general outline of what i wanted played and he created the rest! He kept everyone dancing and smiling all night. Made it truly memorable. Eric was very professional and helped with directing the entire night even kept me organized through the night. You will be more than thankful if you picked Dynamic Entertainment for wedding!!

Eric is the definition of professionalism but is always ready to make your event a wonderful party! He gets along with everyone. He makes your event memorable for sure. I would never use anyone else.

Eric was always quick to respond when I had questions and was very personable. He had everyone dancing and I had a wonderful time. Eric surprised us with a special dance at the end of the night which might be one of my fondest memories of the whole reception! I would recommend Dynamic Entertainment to any couple looking for a great DJ!

Dynamic Entertainment did an amazing job at our wedding. I could not have asked for better service. Everyone danced all night long!! From the first call with Eric until our wedding night Dynamic Entertainment was more than helpful. I always felt that I could call at any time if I needed anything! The week of our wedding the venue had to cancel due to weather. When Eric found out, he bent over backwards to make sure we had contacted all of our venders. He even made arrangements with our new venue less than 24 hours before our wedding. We were more than satisfied with our service and people are still talking about how much fun they had dancing. They are amazing! I asked for some difficult special dances like my memory dance for my papaw and they nailed it! Home run! If you need a DJ go with them they are amazing and my wedding wouldn't have been perfect without them! ??

DynamicEntertainment/Eric Pickett provided DJ services at my daughter's wedding. It was an unforgettable night. I give Mr. Pickett five stars across the board. Mr. Pickett bought a sense of comfort and confidence to the event. He was very professional and paid attention to every detail. This was the final piece that made her day "perfect". Wedding planning made easy. Family and friends had a blast on the dance floor.

Of all our wonderful vendors, Dynamic Entertainment was the one in whom we had the most confidence. The responsiveness, attention to detail, and professionalism were clear front he beginning. The planning process was seamless and everything was easily presented on an online platform that could be modified on our own time. On our wedding day, they were prepared, organized, and accommodating, and everything went perfectly. The transitions between the dinner, dancing, and toasts were facilitated flawlessly. Our dance floor was packed all night and several of our guests commented how great the music was! We cannot thank Dynamic Entertainment enough and would highly recommend their services to anyone!

BG was awesome!! Not only does he have a huge library of music, but it's from all genres. He was so thorough in making sure he had exactly what my daughter and son in law wanted at just the right time. He was also very personable so everyone responded well to him.

I feel his fees were reasonable and he's very attentive to his clients.

Fantastic DJ!

Eric Pickett was fantastic to work with! He really took the time and effort to make our vision for our wedding reception come to life. He was fun and professional. I highly recommend him to any bride looking for a DJ, especially if she has something special in mind for her music or reception. Great for mixed age crowds as well.

Guests enjoyed themselves - We did not get what we wanted

A few nights before our wedding, after both working 11 hour shifts that day, we wrote out extremely detailed step by step instructions on what we wanted our music for our wedding. This of course took us several hours figure out which songs needed to be played at which time. You replied back to this long email with a shortened list. We put our trust in you that you would still take the time to read through our email and respect our wishes for our special day. We unfortunately came to realize this was not the case. We asked for very specific Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra songs to be played and wrote in great detail the songs we DID NOT want played while eating. You proceeded to play the do not play list while we were eating. Those songs meant something to us and our guests which we explained to you in our email and follow up conversations. Although you apologized SEVERAL times to us claiming to be a “perfectionist” you continued to not do what we asked in the instructions, again, extremely well detailed for your reading. We had a conversation face to face during one of your many apologies about starting off the night with THATS AMORE and yet we hear it played before we even started the speeches. And then we continued to hear that song TWO more times that night. Which is extremely uncalled for and took away from one of the other MANY songs on our MUST PLAY list that YOU never bothered to play. You started to play yet another song we wanted played on the dance floor during the dinner after we told you SEVERAL times, we wanted you to stick to the dinner playlist. You then played the pre-ceremony cocktail hour playlist. I just want you to know from the bottom of my heart you sincerely took away from SEVERAL special moments I was supposed to have. Our first dance song started playing before we were remotely ready, so much so that we felt the need to do the dance where we were standing which was out of view of our parents and nowhere near the dance floor. We specifically requested the father/daughter and mother/son songs be played for only 1 minute, you played the songs full duration, even after the mother of the bride approached you and reminded you of our instructions.

You came so highly recommended by all of your amazing reviews online but we were extremely disappointed. You did not give us the respect, to read through our request/instructions, that we deserved. On top of our other vendors messing up I think yours was pretty major and caused a great deal of stress to start off our special night together. You sir, are no perfectionist and it infuriated me on our night to hear you call yourself one so many times and continue to not come through!!! You literally played the Twist, a song that was NOT on our playlist instead of the song Twisting the night away, that you told me, to my face you were going to play next but then got that so terribly mixed up.

Rather than doing your job, you left your post several times through the night to bother our guests with the history of the cave. Some of these guests were forced to hear this more than once.

You nailed the ceremony, we had no complaints about the cocktail hour we were not present for. You you did appear to make a great effort but failed in areas that we consider crucial. I can see a potential for success with you were someone to hire you, but only if their expectations are kept loose, and there is no demand for a more strict execution of your duties.

Were I to have a chance to do it all over again. I would not have hired you for our wedding. I do not believe our standards were too high, I do not believe our requests were too strict, and I do not believe that you were incapable of meeting them, I believe it was a lack of determination on your part that lead to your mishaps. We gave you a template and you simply did not remember it or did not read it I am not sure which it was.

I am sorry to hear of your opinion and your experience, but I am happy your guests had a great time which is why we celebrate with friends and family. As you stated, we do have several good reviews and feel we have worked very hard to earn them. I reviewed my contacts with you regarding this and the information or instructions we were emailed was 4 days before the wedding (email was on 10/5 and wedding was 10/09). This is a very short turn around time and typically our planning goes weeks ahead of the event. We had reached out to you a few months prior to check in and about getting the details about your wedding. We will evaluate how we receive information for our future weddings and make necessary improvements. With that said, I only wish the best for you and Dottie.
