Exceptional Food, Impeccable Service – A Perfect Catering Experience

Piccolo Trattoria was a standout partner in our Bucks County wedding—and we are still hearing rave reviews from guests. From our very first tasting, we knew we were in excellent hands. The food was exceptional, the service was seamless, and the team brought warmth, flexibility, and professionalism every step of the way.

We hosted over 250 guests for a multi-day celebration, including a welcome dinner at our home and a full wedding day with ceremony, reception, and after party across two locations. Piccolo Trattoria delivered flawlessly. They worked closely with us and our planner to build a menu that felt elevated yet comforting, and truly representative of our tastes. The passed hors d’oeuvres, dinner stations, and late-night bites were all hits—and every detail, from presentation to timing, was spot-on.

What really stood out was how attentive and kind the staff were—gracious, efficient, and genuinely invested in making the experience feel special. Even with a large guest count and multiple venues, Piccolo made it feel personal.

Book them!

Piccolo cares!!! They were outstanding from start to finish. We were married at Tyler Gardens on 5/30/26 and it was an absolute dream. The amount of compliments during the wedding and texts I received after about how incredible the food & service was is just a testament to their passion for hospitality.

Tara, Amali, Fami & the chef were able to help us curate the perfect menu & spread. Our server for the day, Bianca, anticipated our every need. Beginning with a DIRTY MARTINI fountain, freshly shucked oysters & then finishing with the dreamiest dessert spread ever, it was all perfection!

Cannot recommend Piccolo more - for both catering & dining in at the Newtown location. We love you guys!

Everything was Amazing!!

Tara and the staff from Piccolo truly went above and beyond for our wedding at Tyler Gardens. From the start Tara was an absolute joy to work with and helped us come up with the perfect delicious menu. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the amazing food. Not only was the food incredible but the waitstaff was professional and beyond attentive to the needs of my spouse, myself and our guests. Our signature cocktail was spot on and served with smiles and amazing personality! Highly recommend Piccola!

October 2025 wedding

My wedding size was 80 people, in October at a venue that had a kitchen available at the venue for them to use.

Planning wise: I was assigned Tara to work with me on the planning and scheduling. Initially, I didn’t feel like their default packages hit all of details we wanted and she pretty much built a brand new one with me. Their chefs were inspired and eager to try out the options we were suggesting. Tara went above and beyond. There were last minute changes on linens that she was happy to make… Always with a great attitude and professionalism. She set up tastings for us to make sure we liked the menu and she also set up a walkthrough of the venue to make sure we were all aligned before the big day. She even opened up the restaurant for us for an after party!

Day-of food quality: People walked away from the wedding talking about how much they loved the food. I’m glad we had a tasting of everything prior to the wedding because day-of I was too nervous to actually eat. More than the food, the waiters were professional. The assigned person on my day-of team was also amazing and checked in with me multiple times throughout the night.

The only thing I was a bit worried about is that I didn’t meet the day-of coordinator until the actual wedding day. But Tara assured that she would pass on all the information, that they are a tight team- and indeed she did! Everything turned out great.

Piccolo Catering at Rose Bank Winery

I can’t say enough good things about Tara Moran and her team at Piccolo. I felt like I was planning my dream wedding with my Fairy Godmother. Tara was there for me 24/7 answering questions and addressing every concern we had- even up until the day before our wedding. Piccolo worked extremely hard and all of our family and friends have been complementing the food and service. I was never worried about my guests leaving hungry and they did not! If you need a caterer for your wedding, don’t look any further than Piccolo. You will not be disappointed!

The Highlight of our wedding!

Piccolo Catering was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding! From start to finish, their attentiveness and professionalism made everything flow so smoothly. The entire team at Piccolo went above and beyond catering our wedding. From the beginning of planning(months before the event) to the day of event we felt like the catering team was a vital part to such a successful wedding. The food was incredible on all levels presentation, taste, service. Every single guest was in love with some aspect of the food. Working with Tara to plan my daughter’s wedding reception was such a pleasure. Amazing experience & very accommodating!

Piccolo's was AMAZING to work with! Truly so accommodating and helpful during the planning process. They were so flexible and helpful planning out special day! We did a small semi-private dining experience at the Newtown location, and it felt like we were the only ones at the restaurant it was so special! A Magical Day made better by Delicious Food & Wonderful Service

Piccolo's made our weeding day so amazingly special. From the very beginning Tara and Chef Fami were a delight to work with. They were always very professional and quick to respond. But more than that, they truly cared about us as a couple and making our day as wonderful as possible. They delivered in a big way! Beth and Amali helped us plan out the details and were there with the team on the day of to make sure that everything went flawlessly. All of our guest raved about the food and the service. We love supporting local family business and will be returning to Piccolo's for our events in the future. We are so happy to be a part of the Piccolo's family.

Piccolo catered our wedding and will cater the rest of our life events

Piccolo is the greatest of all time! We had them cater our wedding this past weekend and couldn't be happier with the decision we made. Everyone LOVED the food and they made sure that no one left hungry - especially us, the bride and groom! Even though it rained at the last minute, we had no idea because the team handled the change in plans so well.

In addition to our guests, they even made sure that the staff was taken care of - the photographer said that this was the first wedding he left full from!

The team - Tara, Fami, and Amali treated us like family. They were ready to help with everything we needed and even made sure we had space at the restaurant at the last minute for a family brunch. After our wedding, we're going to go to Piccolo every time we need catering - or just a delicious night out for great food.

Absolutely amazing!

I do not even know where to begin! Piccolo went above and beyond to make our wedding day absolutely perfect! Amali, Fami, Tara, and their entire team were amazing from start to finish. Every single one of our guests made a comment about how delicious the food was and impressive the presentation was. They paid so much attention the details with the stunning appetizers, white glove main course, and the impressive dessert station. Everything went so smoothly the entire day! Even when a guest spilled red wine on my wedding dress, Amali had the stain out in minutes (I still do not know how she made that happen but I cannot thank her enough)! I HIGHLY recommend Piccolo because it will truly be an event that you and your guests will never forget!

Before I found Piccolo Trattoria Caterers I was starting to panic about finding an affordable caterer without sacrificing the quality of food. These guys were amazing from the very first correspondence, specifically Tara Moran who was my go to person throughout the entire experience. She was amazing. One of the best!

Piccolo was the caterer for my clients wedding this past weekend and I just wanted to share a note on how wonderful they are! I have worked with them in the past, so I did recommend them to this couple and will definitely continue to do so in the future. They are extremely detailed with their couples, organized, straightforward, and they come together on the day of the wedding to bring your vision to life. We had some unfortunate weather for this past weekends wedding, but they worked through it in a kind, professional manner and everyone was thrilled with the service and the food, which is always delicious! They have a great staff and I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a wedding caterer.

More than a Caterer!

Tara and her team assisted with my wedding at our family home. Not only did they provide amazing food, but they helped me source linens and necessities for the event, troubleshoot seating arrangements, and put together an outdoor kitchen set-up to accommodate our non-traditional venue. They provided an incredible staff who made sure the bride and groom were taken care of while keeping the party going smoothly! This family business treated us like family and it didn't go unnoticed. I couldn't recommend Piccolo more!

Wonderful catering experience

Tara, Beth and the whole Piccolo crew did a wonderful job catering for our wedding. We had a magical outdoor wedding on a farm with about 80 people. We chose to serve food through cocktail hour (passed hors d'oeuvres, Tuscan display of meats, cheeses, veggies), a plated salad to start dinner service, a buffet, and after party snacks (flatbread pizzas and pretzels). We got many, many compliments on the excellent food!

For the months leading up to our event, Piccolo was kind, responsive, professional and thoughtful about making sure we had what we needed for the event we envision. They made a site visit to the venue with us, helped us create a list of needed rentals, and worked with us to make sure our guests' dietary restrictions were accounted for. During our tasting session at the restaurant to finalize our menu, it was clear that the team members had a great deal of respect and love for not only each other but for the food they serve.

On the weekend of the wedding, Tara and Beth came out with the team to set up and make sure we had what we needed. During the event, the service staff was kind and professional--they went out of their way to make sure they knew which guests needed the special plates, and made plates for my partner and I to make sure we didn't forget to eat getting swept up in the day. They went out of their way to make sure that the after party snacks were set up at a different site on the property. And their handling of clean up, folding all tables, chairs and cleaning up linens and glassware to be ready for rental pick up, was absolutely invaluable. Their smooth handling of so many of the pieces dramatically reduced our stress around those logistics and allowed us to be present with our people.

Our few very minor hiccups had to do with us not clearly communicating a couple of details we had prepped ahead of time (some signs we made for desserts that we brought didn't make it out to the tables, extra chairs we rented to give folks some space to move around had been put away so as to not be cluttered, etc). All of these were very much details that did not disrupt the flow of the event, and certainly didn't diminish what ended up being an absolutely extraordinary day. Grateful for all their hard work in making the event so special and smooth!

A perfect wedding!

We used this company for our daughter's wedding in NJ. From start to finish they gave nothing but the most professional service. On the big day their staff continued with the same level of excellence, including both the food (which was delicious) and the service which was highly attentive. Amazing food and perfect service

Our guests could not believe the variety of food we had available at our wedding, and every item was a hit. The appetizers were beautiful and delicious, and the station option for the reception made sure that everyone found something they loved for dinner. Amali and our catering staff on the day were amazing. Amali was extremely responsive to every question or concern we had, and made sure that everything went according to plan. Our maitre d' was amazingly attentive, and made sure we had everything that we could possibly have needed. Multiple guests approached us throughout the night to compliment the bartending and catering staff on their helpfulness and extremely responsive approach. If you are looking for someone to make your wedding day a culinary success, look no further!

Wedding Day Perfection

Amali, Fami and the entire Piccolo Trattoria catering team are OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING!! From the day we met the team at our tasting after a rough wedding planning start (not with them!) we felt right at home. The food at our wedding was unbelievable and surpassed any expectation we could have ever had. We had, not exaggerating here, every person at our wedding and afterparty come up to us and tell us how incredible the food was and how special they felt thanks to the treatment of the Piccolo team. Their attention to detail is above and beyond any caterer I've had the chance to work with and as a professional planner, that says a lot. Our daughter’s outdoor wedding

We were very fortunate to have Piccolo Trattoria cater our daughter’s wedding. Fami and Amali are experienced and professional. Their staff was attentive and most importantly the entire team was very warm. We felt as if we had our family there. The cuisine was the best that we have had at a wedding, and we had many guests tell us the same. They helped make the day and evening a perfect experience. I highly recommend them for any event.

If you want to feel like a guest at your own wedding- they will make it happen!

I cannot recommend them highly enough. We got married on October 8, 2022 and were a little late to the game planning for it and had about 175 people coming to our house for it. Luckily, when I found Piccolo I decided to call and they were available for our date. They took care of EVERYTHING from our food (which our guests absolutely loved) to our rentals including our tent, restrooms, tables, wine bars, chairs, linens, and glasses. Amalie & Fami worked with the rental companies from end-to-end and also recommended our DJ & Florist both of which I also couldn’t recommend highly enough.

They were also very responsive to all of the messages, had great suggestions, and handled any changes that were decided on promptly!

I can’t tell you how many of our guests commented about the food, music, the great service & staff, and how beautiful the tent was! They all thought I threw it together myself but, I was honest and said how it wouldn’t have been possible without them and the day-of coordinator Beth!

The staff was highly professional, provided great service, and they were personable. Even the staff helped to make our wedding a fun one.

It is obvious Dream Weddings are Piccolo Trattoria's passion!!

Piccolo Trattoria was critical in making our wedding day dreams come true! From the moment we met Amali, Beth, and the team, we knew we were in amazing and professional hands - there was no other caterer that compared! We were provided so many options and as our vision evolved throughout the year, Piccolo Trattoria had everything we needed from rentals to food options along with truly great people and advice. Excellent and quick communication. From working through the event order to delivery and set up - they thought of everything and added touches that elevated everything from wonderful to beyond our dreams. They have multiple types of catering to choose from, it is presented to you nicely in a packet to look over.. each and every thing we tried was amazing! The tuscan display during cocktail hour and the assorted desserts left all our guests saying WOW!! We went with the buffet option for our intimate backyard wedding and each entree was delicious. In addition to the delicious food the staff was exceptional.. serving and tending to the buffet line, checking in on us and our guests, etc. We didn't have to ask for anything once, they were 5 steps ahead the entire time. Even to cleaning up at the end of the night we noticed how efficiently they organized and packed things up for us (this was integral since we had the backyard wedding). All of our guests specifically commented to us how they loved the Piccolo staff. I could write so much and run out of space in this review post - WE JUST LOVE PICCOLO TRATTORIA!! They feel like part of our family now! So, in conclusion, if you are looking for the most delicious food, tons of options, exceptional ideas and service, it is all right here. Piccolo Trattoria catered a special event for us on 8/12. We couldn’t be more pleased. They not only met our expectations, they exceeded them. The food was prepared according to our specific requests and was exceptionally delicious. The presentation and service were impeccable. Fantastic Vendor for Our Wedding!

We had such a great experience working with Piccolo Trattoria on our wedding day! The catering manager was super helpful and detail oriented throughout all of the planning of our menu and the day-of timeline. On the day of our wedding, my groom and I had nothing to worry about. Our maitre d' and the rest of the Piccolo staff was incredibly friendly and helpful for anything we needed during our reception. And the food was so delicious! I would HIGHLY recommend Piccolo's Caterers for your wedding day! The whole Piccolo team was the absolute best to work with and made the whole process so seamless. Coordinator Tara is the best as what she does! She will make you feel like family. She is always accessible to answer questions or just to talk about the overall flow of your wedding. Fami was great to work with and made sure we were well taken care of! Aside from the incredible team, the food is absolutely AMAZING! All of our guests could not stop raving about the food. I could not have imagined our wedding day without Tara and the amazing Piccolo staff!

Delicious food and personalized experience

Our guests had so many good things to say about the food at our wedding. I also have many food allergies and they took the care to prepare food for me so I could eat safely on my wedding day. Amali was great and on the call a few weeks before the event, she walked me through every detail to customize the menu, beverages and set up. The servers the day of the wedding were awesome and thoughtful, as well. It was a great experience and I think anyone who hires this caterer for their wedding will have delicious food and a smooth, worry-free event.

Best caterer in Bucks County!

Piccolo Trattoria catered my daughter's wedding in May 2021. Tara was wonderful to work with; she was extremely flexible, accommodating, and responsive to all of our needs. We had Piccolo cater both our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception and the entire Piccolo team were professional and exceptional! Besides all of that, the food was amazing! Fami (the owner and an excellent chef!)) prepared all of the food and all of our guests raved about how excellent the food was.....definitely not your typical wedding food! We would recommend Piccolo Trattoria as a wedding caterer hands down. You absolutely will not be disappointed!

Amazing Party!

So happy to have chosen Piccolo Trattoria for the recent party we held to celebrate our son and daughter in law’s wedding. Tara was an immense help in all the planning and was very accessible if you needed to get in touch with her. We chose the Vintner Room at Rose Bank Winery for the event, which was an excellent choice. The room was set up and decorated beautifully by the Piccolo staff who did an amazing job throughout the evening, making sure everything was perfect. Also present throughout the evening was Fahmi, who did a superb job with the food. Everything was so delicious and our guests were raving about it. Piccolo also handled all of our bar needs which included a top shelf open bar. Overall, our experience was great and I would highly recommend Piccolo for your catering needs.

Rehearsal dinner tranfsormed to wedding!

Amazing! Fami, Tara and the Piccola Trattoria staff were excellent. They were originally hired to cater my rehearsal dinner at my husband's parent's house but due to the current pandemic, we moved our rehearsal dinner to the wedding date and added a ceremony. They were completely flexible and more than accommodating. The yard looked amazing! I was so impressed with the set up. They brought in high top tables with beautiful linens, a rolling bar, serving tables and even helped us with a tent rental to make sure everything would be perfect. Appetizers turned into cocktail hour with the most delicious selections of fresh seafood, Italian meats and pasta. Dinner was even better. It was awesome to see a carving station at my in-laws house. Everyone was raving about it and me and my now husband were really able to enjoy it all with the help of Fami and the team. Fami and the servers made sure that we had a drink at all times (like we wanted), that we took the time to eat, even when we chose not to sit because we didn't want to miss interacting with our guests. I was super impressed and thankful for the consistent check ins so we were able to get a taste of all of the food as we moved around the area. I would HIGHLY recommend this company for any event where you wish to have absolutely amazing food and great service.

I would HIGHLY recommend Piccolo Trattoria Caterers for your wedding! They were the absolute best to work with and made our wedding day perfect from start to finish. Fahmi treats you like family and really puts his heart and soul into making sure your day is amazing. Tara Moran was a godsend for us and made the entire wedding process so much easier. I can't imagine our day without them and they really made our dream wedding come true. The food is INCREDIBLE! We are still hearing from guests about how delicious it was! The whole staff is extremely polite, professional and so nice to be around. I honestly can't say enough about how much we loved working with Piccolo!:)

Wedding Caterer

Simply amazing food and service. Every guest throughout the weeks following our wedding could not stop saying how they've never had better wedding food. Everything came out hot and on schedule. The cocktail hour app's were incredible. Piccolo's knows exactly what they are doing come wedding day. The owner himself even stayed all night to make sure everything went as planned which we did not expect. Would highly recommend.

Catered Wedding including cocktail hour, sit-down dinner, dessert, and bar service

If you are looking for a caterer who will go above and beyond for your wedding day then Piccolo Trattoria is the perfect choice. One of the most important things for our wedding was food and so we knew we had to find the perfect caterer. We were first introduced to Fami at an open house hosted at our venue. There were other caterers at the open house but as soon as we tried Fami's food (pumpkin gnocchi specifically), we knew he was the perfect guy to cater our wedding.

Fami and his staff were very involved throughout the whole wedding planning process. We met at his restaurant to go over specifics for the menu and got to try a lot of amazing food that day. His staff was also very accommodating when we found out we had to move to the west coast in the middle of wedding planning and let us do our taste testing much earlier then originally planned where we got to try even more amazing food.

After taste testing the food on multiple occasions, I knew that everything was going to be delicious but Fami and his staff at Piccolo really blew us away on our wedding day. The food, presentation, and service was way better than I could have ever imagined. We had so many compliments from our guests on how delicious everything was and so many people were telling us that it was one of the best filet's they had ever had.

All in all, I would highly recommend Piccolo Trattoria for your wedding day. They are very involved throughout the whole wedding planning process, are extremely client-centered, reliable, delicious, and have a wide variety of options for cocktail hour, dinner, dessert, and even the bar to make your wedding unique.

Amazing Food!!!

Fami,Tara, and Lori did and amazing job on our wedding day at Tyler Gardens in Newtown. We had spent months pulling the details together and on the day of the wedding they totally brought their A-Game! We had more food than we could have ever imagined, all beautifully displayed from start to finish. Fami himself was cooking at the Pasta Station during the cocktail hour which the guests all thought was pretty cool. They also set up a beautiful antipasti table with a massive wheel of cheese that was beautifully displayed. As the night carried on, The Piccolo Team continued to impress with expert service and wait staff delivering 4 separate entrees to guests as the pleased. They were nice enough to make a tasting plate for me because I couldn't just decide on one. After dinner they set up an amazing desert wall that had everything from tiramisu, my favorite, to galato. Most of our guests went for two or three rounds of desert. Hey why not!? As the party died down and guests started to leave, they rolled out the final course, Piccolo pizzas in about 100 different varieties. It was a huge hit and exactly the right way to cap a night of dancing and cocktails. Amazing job from this team. We get guests reminiscing all the time about how good the food was.

Mother of the bride

My daughter and son-in-law were married at Tyler Gardens on June 1st this year. Fami and his staff were incredible to work with!! They were caring, accommodating, and flawless in their execution of so many details. On top of several delicious food stations, they served almost 200 people a spectacular sit down dinner. Over 125 guests chose filet mignon and miraculously they prepared them by order. As a special surprise for the bride and groom he had a LOVE ice sculpture adorning the bar totally complementing the Philly vibe. As if that weren’t enough, they prepared an awesome dessert table and a late night snack of Philly cheese steaks and waffle fries! Everything was delicious from start to finish and presented with elegance. So many guests complemented everything!! Fami is all heart and made their special day so memorable as he facilitated making their wedding day dreams come true!

Unforgettable experience

My husband and I were married at Tyler Gardens on September 22, 2019. Through Tyler Gardens they had an exclusive caterer list, and our option was Piccolo Trattoria. From the first phone with Tara, I knew we were in great hands and that we picked the right restaurant. Tara was super informative, sweet, and accommodating. She answered all of my questions and was able to offer her advice when we were stuck with what to go with. When we met with Fami, I felt he was more about making people happy then just wanting to take our money. He was so interpersonal with us and wanted to know us as a couple before as just clients. He provided a delicious cocktail hour and menu and gave us many options to choose from and never pushed to pick more expensive options, we always felt that we were in control and weren’t being forced to choose something which means a lot to us. A few weeks before my wedding my father had unexpectedly passed away, when I let Fami know, the first thing he asked us was when he could send us some food our way. That sweet gesture meant so much to my mother and I, and we are so grateful for meeting such a kind person who truly cares about others. All my guests raved how incredibly delicious the food was and how everything was set up so beautifully by staff. My seating chart ended up breaking because of the wind and Fami and his assistants set up a new seating chart in less than a half hour and were able to direct all the guests to their seats without any issues. If you’re still looking for a caterer, look no further because no one is better than Piccolo’s.

Amazing staff

Fami and his staff were beyond amazing. We had them cater our wedding and everything was beautiful and my husband and I felt extremely taken care of all day long. I Would recommend them to anyone for any kind of event. My guests raved about the food, even the steaks were cooked to the temperature everyone requested which is a rare experience at a wedding. My fiancée and I had selected Tyler Gardens for our venue, and we had the choice of four vendors for the big day. We met Fahmi at a showcase about a year before our date, September 15, 2018. He immediately made us feel like family the night we met with him to discuss our vision, options and selections (not to mention posing for a picture with us at the reception!). Fahmi was extremely generous and flexible in terms of our selections. He was extremely responsive and gave us his honest input throughout the planning process. Piccolo’s banquet manager, Beth, was simply incredible. Since the venue didn’t provide a “mater dei” or point person in terms of day-of logistics and questions, Beth fielded all of our questions promptly and we did not feel worried once. She helped relieve a great deal of stress that planning a wedding creates. Beth went above and beyond and we feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with Beth so closely, specifically from our walkthrough at the venue all the way through the actual wedding day. In terms of execution, Fahmi and his team delivered and exceeded our expectations. Fahmi even accommodated our bridal party at the last minute, offering some paninis as we took pictures before the ceremony started, and offered flatbreads for guests on the way out—two things that were never initially discussed. We received rave reviews about the cocktail hour, stations, entrees, the specialty drinks, everything. One comment made to us from a guest was verbatim, “No lie I think that was the best food I’ve had at a wedding.” We can’t thank our Piccolo family enough and would recommend them to EVERYONE who wants one less thing to worry about in planning a wedding. When it comes to your big day the caterer is going to be one of the most difficult choices. We used Piccolo Trattoria and they helped make this an easy choice. They customized small details allowing us to accommodate all our different guests. They bought flavor that had everyone raving about each item on the menu. The service was classy with a sense of urgency felt for each individual. There are things that you know you want and they were able to find more that you haven't even thought of that made all the difference in the evening. We had a guest in our party that is pregnant and recently diagnosed with gestational diabetes, she wasn't able to eat anything on our menu due to her diet restrictions. Piccolo went out of there way to go get her a salad and accommodate her promptly (they have a restaurant close to the venue which helps for things like this).
The response from our guests was over the top, everyone was raving about the food all night. We greatly appreciate the Piccolo team! Fami and his wife are so involved as well and attentive to every request. I often found myself wanting to talk to Fami directly on things just because that how anal I am- I like to go straight to the source- and he was so prompt in all his responses and never once pushed me onto someone else. He accommodated our rehearsal dinner at his establishment last minute and it went flawlessly…even after we had to push it back an hour because we were running late!This place is more than just an Italian restaurant- They accommodated some Spanish food for our cocktail hour and had other non-Italian choices so we could have more variety. I hired Piccolo Trattoria for my rehearsal dinner which went perfectly. The room was completely set up even before we arrived from the church. I had dropped off the cake, alcohol and centerpieces that afternoon and everything was set up. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was delicious. My dad even took his wife back for Valentine's day because he was so impressed. Ali was very responsive in emails and setting everything up. I would definitely recommend for a rehearsal dinner location or for catering for any event.

The food is amazing! I come from a big Italian family and they are very critical about Italian cuisine. They are still raving about it! The staff was attentive, professional and all around awesome. With only a quick 2 min word vomit explanation about how to set up for my entire ceremony and reception they executed it perfectly. Food is very important to me and as I said their food is phenomenal, but the people really sealed the deal. Ali Newman took care of my every request and executed my vision perfectly. The whole staff was on top of it everything the whole time in general. And so friendly! If there were any issues I knew nothing of it. I highly highly recommend them for catering and small-medium events. I had about a 30 person wedding so I can't speak to more than that. But for what I can speak for I speak loudly!

It was a pleasure working with Ali Newman, who was the catering coordinator for Piccolo Trattoria. My son and his wife were married earlier in the year in England and we had a second reception for them at Rose Bank Winery in Newtown. From the first meeting with Ali, we felt we were in good hands. She was a great source of information as far as food choices and the best way to set up and arrange the venue. Piccolo took care of the everything from tables and chairs to linens to the placing of centerpieces. All we had to do was show up and give our approval! The food was fabulous! We had so many complements on the appetizers alone! The dinner was equally wonderful. The waitstaff and bartenders could not do enough to make sure everyone was happy. At the end of the night, everything was left spotless. Leftovers were packed up for us to take that night and we returned the next day to pick up the centerpieces, etc, which were all packed and ready to go. My husband and I recently got married at Sand Castle Winery and choosing Piccolo's as our caterer was hands down the best decision we made during the wedding planning process. Piccolo's is one of the preferred vendors of the winery - originally we started working with a non-preferred vendor and I became disgruntled as they were very slow to get back to me. At a bridal show, I met Ali, the Director of Catering at Piccolo's. Since we were having issues with the other caterer, we decided to give them a try and went to a free sampling of their food. We were sold from that meeting because the food was delicious and we were extremely impressed with Ali's attention to detail and expertise. We dumped the other caterer and moved forward with Piccolo's. Our intuition from that initial meeting was dead on because working with Piccolo's for our wedding was a dream come true! Ali is more than just a Catering Director, she is like a partner in the wedding planning process - offering advice and referrals which made my job so much easier. She consistently went above and beyond both before the wedding and the day of. She met with us before the wedding to do a walk-through of the event so she would know where every single piece of décor would go and the exact timeline of events - and then her and her team executed that perfectly the day of the wedding. In short, Ali and her team are rockstars!! The day of the wedding, I literally had no worries because I was confident that Ali and her team would turn our visions into reality - which they did and actually they even made it better than we had imagined! The service was flawless and all of our guests raved about the food, especially the penne a la vodka and the steak. Oh - and how could I forget about the meat slicer and parmesan cheese wheel at the cocktail hour?! We thought the pricing was extremely reasonable especially considering the great quality of the food and the attentive service from the catering staff.

The food was excellent! Most of our guests commented on how good the food was. The fruit platter was not only delicious, it was absolutely beautiful, a work of art! Ali was terrific to work with, she is friendly, flexible and professional. She did a wonderful job of recommending dishes & portions and organizing the event as a whole. Mo and his assistant were on time with the delivery, they arranged the buffet with Sterno's quickly and with care. They were respectful and helpful and came back to pick up the equipment the next day. Mo was so kind and always trying to be sure we had what we needed and made himself available by cell in case there were any issues. He even drove back to our home with additional Sterno's! Kudos to Fahmi and his staff!

Piccolo recently catered my wedding at the Rose Bank Winery in Newtown, PA, and did a FANTASTIC job. The catering manager, Ali, helped us through every step; she and her staff set up the entire wedding, including outdoor seating for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and even all of our centerpieces. and favors She provided us with full staff (including bartenders, even though Piccolo is BYO) and gave us recommendations for alcohol providers, bakeries for wedding cake, etc and coordinated well with all of the other vendors. Ali was extremely responsive throughout the entire planning process.

Of every aspect of our wedding, the food definitely received the most compliments. Piccolo allowed us to write our own menu and were basically able to accommodate anything we asked for. We had an unbelievable cocktail hour with a full antipasto spread and passed hors d'oeuvres. We opted for buffet, with filet, shrimp cocktail, lobster rolls, crab cakes, and sides, all of which were unbelievable.

I would definitely recommend Piccolo for catering. Ali took so much of our stress away and really delivered. Thank you for a great experience!

Ali Newman was very prompt and very patient in answering all my questions. She gave me great advice.
All of my guests raved about the food!! There was no skimping on the quantity of food, so definitely worth the price. Set up in my home was on time and professionally done. I especially like that heavy deep metal pans were used, rather than the flimsy aluminum pans that are often used for home delivery. Very happy I chose Piccolo Trattoria to cater my party.

We hosted our daughters 1st birthday here and we could not have been more pleased. The services was exceptional, the food was delicious and the help we got with planning was outstanding. I was very pleased with Piccolo Trattoria and their assistance and attentiveness before the event, the day of and at the event. I asked for a special dietary meal and it was prepackaged - the guest was thrilled! The server was more than pleasant and helpful and the food was delicious- the attendees went back several times and raved about the food. I have used Piccolo's for personal and professional events and am very pleased and would highly recommend them.

Saul was absolutely wonderful throughout the evening. He was extremely attentive to all of the needs of the guests and did a wonderful job of making the pasta dish fresh and well presented. Let me start by saying that my now husband is native northern Italian, and he is extremely picky about his Italian food. Before deciding on Piccolo Trattoria to cater our wedding, we had spoken personally to nearly 15 caterers and couldn't find one that provided good, authentic Italian within our budget.

We had nearly given up and were seriously considering doing the food ourselves when at 3 months out, we drove an hour south to visit with Fahmi and Ali and were completely sold upon tasting the menu. Aside from the fantastic food, they were extremely flexible with our (MANY) requests, our outdoor vineyard venue (which had no kitchen!), and had the most sunny (no pun intended) disposition about the complexities of a 175 person outdoor summer event that needed full service catering.

My guests are STILL raving about the amazing cocktail hour and dinner that Fahmi completely tailored to fit what we wanted. Some highlights of the day were a full parmigiano cheese form and fresh cut prosciutto sliced as you waited, which were included with their cocktail hour. We also had a roast pork station right on the premises, in addition to our other two entrees (baked tilapia and seasoned chicken on the bone) and a custom pasta all served family style. Two words can sum this up: phenomenal food.

The staff was extremely professional, attentive, and friendly. Ali Newman, the event planner, took care of every detail that I could (and couldn't!) think of. She had great rapport with my venue in the time leading up to my wedding and on the day of, she and her staff set my centerpieces and decor exactly as I envisioned it.

My husband and his family were thoroughly impressed with the food. It was Italian done right, and I couldn't have asked for a more beautifully organized event. Wish I could add pictures and give more stars :) thank you so much for making my day awesome!

Best best food and venue experience. The staff was fabulous, warm, attentive to detail and very helpful.

Ali organized and sat with me about food. We communicated often and she was punctual with everything. Ali was incredible. . Angela was our server. She was wonderful.

Working with Ali Newman from Piccolo was a pleasure. She was practical, flexible, realistic, and so helpful. It was simple and we had two parties in two weekends with a total of 90 people. The mixed green salad with chicken and shrimp and the Brooklyn Pizza's went so fast! Thanks again, we will certainly be calling for our next party.

Planning my bestfriend's bridal shower at Piccolo was so seamless. Ali & Erin the banquet coordinators were so helpful and gave me so many options and suggestions for everything from the menu to the decorations. I'd been to the restaurant before so I knew the food would be excellent but then seeing how wonderful the atmosphere was and how accommodating the staff was just made the day even better. I highly recommend having your next event at Piccolo Trattoria!

The food was delicious. But what made our party great was the 4 servers and 1 bartender. Pat Fisher and his team anticipated every move and need for myself and my guests. A truly great day!

I am so happy I booked Piccolo for our catering! Their food is delicious and doesn't lose any quality despite a large catering order, which I've found does happen frequently at weddings. Nearly all of my guests raved about the food. The only issue was two guests' orders somehow got messed up and they ended up eating what they didn't order; despite that, they still enjoyed the meal.

I worked a lot with Ali, who also was the day-of coordinator at our wedding. She is very helpful, down-to-earth, and really goes out of her way to make sure everything goes perfectly. I highly recommend this caterer and hiring Ali as your day-of coordinator!

Piccolo Trattoria

I used Piccolo Trattoria for a New Years Eve party and then again for my daughter’s Sweet 16. Their service was above and beyond anything I could have expected. They helped not only with the amazing food selections but also with declarations, desserts, favors, etc. I would highly recommend them for any party or night out for dinner. The owners and staff are extraordinary!!

Amazing food for reception

My husband and I had decided during our planning process that food was really important to us. Piccolo did not disappoint!!! We recently had our reception at Tyler Gardens in Newtown. Early on in the planning process we chose Piccolo (one of the preferred caterers for the venue) to do the food for the cocktail hour and reception. We had gone to an open house at Tyler Gardens and had a small taste of Piccolo’s impressive Tuscan display (featured for cocktail hour) and their AMAZING pumpkin gnocchi! After the open house we knew for sure that we wanted to go with Piccolo for the catering. The whole team was so accommodating for my husband and I during phone conferences and tastings (as my husband and I live out of state). Fami, Tara, and Lori made themselves available on a Sunday to have our tasting which is usually completed during the week. On our wedding day, the cocktail hour was absolutely amazing with passed hors d'oeuvres, a beautiful Tuscan display, and a signature fall sangria (a suggested drink from Lori). We chose to do the stations reception which was comprised of a pasta station, carving station, and seafood station. All night guests were commenting on how amazing the food was! Over a week later, we are still receiving compliments on the food and service provided by Piccolo! Fami also threw in a late-night pizza station AND extra desserts for us, which was such an amazing surprise! I can say without a doubt that if you choose Piccolo for your wedding, your food and the service provided throughout the night will be absolutely amazing! Fami and his team went above and beyond to make our day special!

I am very happy with Piccolo Trattoria Catering. They were very responsive to all questions, easy to work with, and most importantly, took full ownership of their part of the wedding. My husband and I chose Piccolo Trattoria to cater our wedding at Tyler Gardens, and overall, Im very satisfied with my experience. Below is an my honest review.
Pros:
- Piccolo's catering manager, Beth, was super responsive during the entire process, answering e-mails and texts promptly. She really became our day-of coordinator since the venue did not have one, and she did a wonderful job of making sure everything ran smoothly. She was a huge help for us, both during the months leading up to the wedding and on the actual wedding day, and we appreciated all that she had done for us.
- Fami, Piccolo's owner, threw in flatbread pizzas at the end of the night for our guests which was super nice and delicious. He also made our bridal party a sandwich tray while we were taking photos before the ceremony to make sure we were all fed.
- Piccolo does a really nice presentation with their decor and setup is beautiful.

Cons:
- The dinner took a while to come out. I know this is expected with a larger wedding, but still a bit disappointing.

Overall I would recommend Piccolo Trattoria to cater any event.

Amazing, highly recommend!

We were really pleased with Piccolo Trattoria and would highly recommend them for your wedding. We had the farmhouse table, hors d’oeuvres, multiple main course entrees and a dessert bar- all of our guests raved about them! We also got the late night cheesesteaks and fries as to go options, which everyone loved.

Amali & Tara were great to work with before & during the wedding, they’re wonderful. Fami was great too and is an amazing chef. The service was excellent during our reception and the company as a whole is very professional. They were on top of everything and frequently checked in with us, you can tell they truly care.

As the first table up to the buffet our food was not hot, however everyone else said their food was great so the situation was handled quickly and effectively. Also, the owner approaching our parents at the event to discuss tipping, which according to the contract is included, was not very professional or appreciated.

We booked them 4 weeks before the wedding day because our other caterer cancelled on us. He was very flexible and was willing to do whatever it took to make it perfect. The food was fantastic! The only problem was that he came up to my parents half way through the reception with another bill which was a surprise to us. We had settled everything before we got there. The bill was for the extra servers he brought without telling us. but other then that he was great!

This place was great! I held a surprise 60th birthday lunch for my mother and everything went so well and to top it off, the food was delicious. Everyone complimented the meal and the servers were great and attentive. It's BYOB and you can't beat the price. Room was perfect for the affair.
