Wedding Entertainment

We had Piano Fondue as our wedding entertainment and they were great! The DJ took care of the flow of the evening and was very communicative with us about what we did and did not want. They also did an amazing job of getting people out on the dancefloor and keeping them there (I have been to several weddings recently where people just don't dance as much). We had the package where the dueling pianos play/sing for the first two hours of the night and the DJ for the last two hours. It was the perfect mix! The piano players/singers are super talented and were able to accommodate our guest's song requests. Our guests keep telling us how much they enjoyed Piano Fondue. We also appreciated that even with speakers in the dining room area, the music was not so loud that people had to shout at each other to carry on a conversation. We would highly recommend them!

Kept us dancing!

We had Justin as our DJ on 10/19 and he was awesome, we had a small wedding so I was worried there wouldn't be many people dancing, but I didn't need to worry about that. He is excellent at reading the crowd and kept people on the dance floor, he also has a lot of knowledge about how weddings work, and helped us feel at ease when we met with him, since we found the logistical part of wedding planning a bit overwhelming. (He was like having an additional wedding planner!) Very impressed and would highly recommend.

Incredibly fun, true pros!

We knew as soon as we got engaged that we wanted Piano Fondue to play our wedding. I've loved their work since they played at the Ivory Room, and we loved it just as much on our wedding day. Francie and Josh run their business like a well-oiled machine, and Josh, Jim, and Travis did a fantastic job going with the flow and keeping our crowd happy. They were such a great part of a great day!

Phenomenal! It's been over a month since our wedding and people are still telling us how fun it was. Everything about Piano Fondue was great and stress free. Pre-wedding, Francie responded to our emails promptly and then she, Josh and Travis met with us one-on-one so they could learn more about us and our music style. On the day of, Quentin & Allaura handled the sound and lighting, Josh and Connor played the pianos, Francie sang some melodies and DJ Travis tied it all together. The transition from the ceremony to live cocktail music to a packed dance floor all night was seamless. On the last song of the night, the floor was filled with happy, sweaty, shoe-less, people wishing for one more song. We would recommend Piano Fondue HIGHLY to anyone!

Piano Fondue was the best part of our wedding, hands down. Working with them was easy, they were super willing to play songs that weren’t advertised as in their repertoire, and their client interface was very intuitive - the whole process clarified the typical structure of a reception, even gave us some great ideas if we ever help friends out in the future. Going in to our big day, this was the one element that we were confident with! The performers were excellent! They convinced my husband to sing to me, and allowed for our officiant to have his moment singing for our guests as well. They were a blast, and our guests loved the pianos! Also, no hidden fees - we actually thought we were paying for just two hours of reception pianos, but were pleasantly surprised to learn that the pricing included other music at that location as needed. Awesome night, amazing team to work with!

One of our favorite activities is going to piano bars (including the Ivory Room in Madison), so we knew that we wanted dueling pianos at our wedding. We also loved that they offer a package with both the pianos and a DJ, which worked out absolutely perfectly. Everyone was so great to work with and they did a great job getting to know us and our music preferences in addition to taking requests during the event. Our guests all commented about how much they loved the music and how much fun they had!

Piano Fondue provided our employees with a fun-filled night out. We opted for the "Best of Both Worlds" package, so we had 2 hours of pianos and then 2 hours of DJ service for the evening. Our piano performers were Tara Nahiriak and Luke Hrovat-Staedter, and our DJ was Travis Ziegler. The dance floor was full, everyone had a fun evening! I would highly recommend booking with Piano Fondue for your event.

Dueling pianos was a resounding hit at our company Christmas party! They started right on time. They were game for whatever was handed to them and did it well! They were great musicians and were hilarious! I would recommend them wholeheartedly!

Thank you and your crew for a fabulous performance Saturday night. Everyone from Piano Fondue was professional, friendly and helpful. As this is our first year doing a Gala fundraiser, there were definitely some wrinkles that needed to be sorted out that night, and the team did an excellent job making the night go smooth. Mike and Lindsey were wonderful - amazingly talented piano players, but also did a great job of calming my opening night jitters. We had heard nothing but rave reviews about Piano Fondue, and you've definitely lived up to that reputation!

We could not have asked for a more perfect night with Piano Fondue! They did an amazing rendition of our first dance song, allowed my family to take over the stage for a surprise performance, and kept the crowd dancing all night long!

What a fantastic job by Piano Fondue! We used them for our wedding in Milwaukee and they were phenomenal! We had high expectations, as an anchor in our relationship was frequenting a piano bar at Purdue together for a few years in college. Prior to the wedding, we had never come across anyone who compared to Piano Man Bruce!
From the start, Erik was great with answering questions and ensuring all details were covered with the venue (I didn't even have to worry about anything beyond connecting the two!). Everything on the planning forms and webpage made the pre-planning easy (I don't do details....the forms made sure they were covered)!
We selected Leslie and Anthony as our entertainers based on a recommendation from a friend who was very familiar with them in Madison. They were OUTSTANDING. Guest could not stop commenting on what a great show it was and how fun they were to listen to. Andrew was our DJ and emcee and was great as well. He kept the party going until the bitter end, and ensured the dance floor was packed the entire night! He was fun, engaging, and always had the perfect song up next so you could never leave the floor for a little break (YES!)!
I would highly recommend booking with them if you are looking for a unique, fun alternative to the normal wedding DJ who is just going through the motions. Piano Fondue makes your event one-of-a-kind and is nothing short of amazing :)

Piano Fondue was the whole package. The event planning was smooth, their setup team was phenomenal, and the entertainers were fantastic. Their setup team (Brandon and Mickey) even assisted me with other tasks that didn't have to do with their show. Our group was having so much fun watching the show that we extended the play time. Taras and Josh (the entertainers) made the show so fun that even the President of our company was out dancing at the end of the night! Thank you, thank you for making our Company Holiday Party a major success!

Luke and Leslie were great on the pianos! They could rap, beat box, play the harmonica and hit some pretty high notes too. They played all our requests and knew what our guests wanted to hear. Everyone was blown away by their talent, and were disappointed they could not play all night. People are still talking about how much fun they had. Travis was a fantastic DJ and transitioned into the later half of the night flawlessly. He was wonderful intoducing us at the reception and helped us during dinner with some events. He was so flexible and helpful all night long. Our music could not have been better, they got so many people on the dance floor, and it was never empty all night. Even my dad came out to dance, which I had never seen before!

There were three things my wedding vision included. One of those was dueling pianos. Although a bit pricey, it was so worth it! Every bride deserves a splurge (or two, or three) and this was one of mine! Everyone at Piano Fondue was great to work with and all of my guests loved it. For many of them, it was the first time they had seen dueling pianos at a reception and they found it super unique and a cool addition to the day.

The pianos were great! They provided a fun show that everyone loved. The extra services they were able to provide (recorded music, emcee, microphone for speeches) made the reception easy for us and definitely made the whole experience top notch. We had a plan for a karaoke farewell that, despite us forgetting to bring the iPad, Piano Fondue was able to make happen - Thank you so much for working with us to make our day perfect!

After having Piano Fondue at my own and my sister's weddings, I am convinced that Piano Fondue is the only way to go for your special day. Not only are the entertainers fantastic but the DJ service at the end is top notch. Everyone, young and old are engaged and entertained from start to finish. All three of our children used Piano Fondue for their wedding entertainment. They do an excellent job. We have been told over and over again by our guests that they have never had as much fun at a wedding. Worth every penny and more to have exceptional entertainment to keep the party hopping. Skilled musicians: Josh Dupont and Michael Massey, DJ: Andrew, and Technicians: Allaura and Erik. I wish I had more children so we could use them again!!

Flexible and courteous. Had the dance floor packed all night. Every guest who made a comment about the wedding said our entertainment was the best they'd seen at a wedding and they loved the dueling pianos. I want to have another wedding just to have them play for us again!

Wow! Choosing Piano Fondue for our wedding was the BEST decision! We did the 2 hr DJ + 2 hr piano package and it was perfect. Eben and Collin on piano were absolutley fantastic. Carlos was the perfect emcee and Erik is the most responsive and attentive vendor contact I have worked with. Piano Fondue performed for our wedding reception, arranged microphones and speakers for our outdoor wedding, played music during cocktail hour and organized/ran the music during our ceremony. They were a HUGE part of our wedding day and did everything they could to ensure our day ran smoothly. We were so impressed with how flexible they were in making sure everything we invisioned for our wedding day would be a reality. They worked well with our venue and other professionals. We received so many compliments from our guests on how our wedding was the most fun wedding they had ever been to. One of our pianists even jumped on top of the piano and played the trumpet. It was so much fun!! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We had the Dueling Pianos and our entertainers were Peter and Nicky. They were very engaging with the crowd and were very talented in terms of having a lot of the music memorized and being able to switch from song to song as requests came in. Our group loved it!

Booking Piano Fondue for our wedding was the best decision we have ever made! Erik was great to work with, responded quickly, and was very flexible around our schedules for pre-wedding meetings. We requested a certain player and got him! We had two pianists that played and sang for our outdoor ceremony and did fabulously with our selections. Connor, Anthony and Katy played for our reception and the dance floor was packed all night. They played all our pre-requested songs and worked in other requests throughout the night.

The dueling piano performance was a big hit with our guests! We were given the opportunity to attend shows for free at the Ivory Room leading up to our wedding so we could pick out the pianists we wanted.
The online system for planning and picking out songs made things super easy. And the organizer (Erik) met with us twice to talk through everything before the wedding and set our minds at ease. The ceremony music was flawless as well.

This company was well rehearsed in running weddings and it showed! I would recommend them to anyone. Not everything with our wedding went perfect, but this was definitely one part we got right.

We booked the Dueling Pianos for our wedding. Best decision by far! They entertained for five hours straight, and brought humor and sweet moments to our celebration. In our pre-event meeting, we requested a few specific songs be played-Josh learned them for us!

They were very interactive with the crowd-a crowd hay was unable to stump them with their offbeat requests! Many guests stayed until the very end of the night because of the piano entertainment!.We heard from multiple guests that it was by far the best wedding they have attend - a lot of that credit goes to the Piano Fondue guys! I highly recommend them!!!

We booked Piano Fondue’s dueling piano and DJ package for our wedding. Piano Fondue without a doubt exceeded our expectations and helped make our wedding unforgettable. The dueling pianos were a great alternative to traditional wedding reception entertainment. The performers were excellent not only on the piano, but also with engaging the crowd. Following the dueling pianos, the DJ was able to keep the energy flowing and dance floor thriving for the remainder of the night. We received countless compliments from our guests with regard to Piano Fondue.

Aside from the dueling piano’s & DJ, Piano Fondue did a great job at getting to know us and what we were looking for to ensure that we received the best service possible. In addition, Piano Fondue’s communication was top notch and their website was easy to use. We would highly recommend choosing Piano Fondue for event entertainment!

If you want to surprise your guests and mix it up with live bands and DJ, go with these guys! They were truly a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Erik, the manager, was so friendly and professional, and also focused on making sure we were satisfied with the planning and implementation. They coordinated with the reception venue to get all the details so that my husband and I didn't have to worry about that part whatsoever. The big night was nothing short of amazing. We have heard nothing but praise from all of our guests. They were so entertained by the dueling piano performers Josh and Vince, and then our awesome DJ Travis ended the night with the perfect mix of songs to dance to! Worth the higher price compared to hiring solely a DJ. On a scale of 1-5, we give them at least a 10!!!

Best entertainment, hands down! Was so much fun! Everyone has a dj or band and I wanted something different so booked the piano/dj package. Had pianos for two hours then a dj for two and a half hours. Money well spent. They are very professional and easy to work with. Erik, the coordinator, is just fantastic - responds usually within minutes! The dj/emcee kept everything on schedule and was so great with our guests. Their online playlist selection and day of planner made planning the evening very easy.

Working with Piano Fondue was truly an incredible experience. From the inquiry all the way to event day all hands were on deck and they were incredible. Erik Jaeckel helped take my visions and dreams and make them a reality for our fundraising event that helped raise over $44,000 thanks to Piano Fondue. They were so easy to work with, were incredible during set up and sound check and even brought their own speakers when our venues speakers weren't working properly. Truly without Piano Fondue, our event would not have been such a huge success. The two entertainers, Taras Nahirniak and Nicky Jordan, were AMAZING!!! Piano Fondue was a great help. Erik is very professional, helpful, communicates promptly,.....Upon his recommendation we contracted Leslie Cao to play/ sing at our daughter's reception. Leslie was exceptional! Her performance added so much. All our guests were impressed with her talent. We were so happy with Erik's help in choosing Leslie. Piano Fondue far exceeded our expectations! Hiring Piano Fondue to perform at our wedding was absolutely the best decision we could have made! At first we decided to go with dueling pianos because we are not big dancers and wanted more entertainment than just hiring a DJ. But, they are so great at what they do that you just can't help but get out there and dance. All of our guests were so amazed at their talent and our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Piano Fondue was recommended to me by a friend who had them play at their wedding. I would recommend them again in a heartbeat to anyone. They were so accommodating, helpful, and organized. They are more expensive to hire than a DJ, but completely worth it!! Again, it was the best decision we made.

Pre-Wedding - They were the most AMAZING vendor to coordinate with. Attention to detail was top-notch and truly cared about our event.
At Wedding - Honestly, words will not do it justice.... the entire evening was unbelievable. The number of comments we have received from our guests are insane...
Post-Wedding - People cannot stop talking about them.

We booked the Best of Both Worlds show (dueling pianos + DJ) for our wedding after winning a major discount at a bridal show and we couldn't have been happier. Where to start? Erik was not only a fantastic DJ, but he was also very professional in keeping everything on time for dinner, speeches, the cake cutting, etc. JUST as we had planned. During our phone conference a couple weeks before the wedding, I made it clear that my husband and I didn't want any cliche wedding music played, and he didn't force anything. Heck, who knows the guests better than the bride and groom? He played the exact type of music we discussed, and honest to God, the dance floor in our beautiful barn venue was packed all night. I've been to more weddings than I can count, and I've never seen a dance floor like that. And, the guests still continue to rave over how great Erik was. Moral of the story, he discusses in depth the type of music a bride and groom want (in the end, it's your wedding night) all while keeping the demographics of your guests in mind. And then, he ACTUALLY follows through, unlike so many other DJs. I've heard from so many unhappy brides whose djs didn't play what they'd discussed, but rather played songs they'd asked them NOT to..only to end up with empty dance floors in the process. Erik even asked what year my husband and I graduated, so he could play flashback songs for us and our friends. It was a memorable night to say the least. Oh, and all the playlists they provide to fill out ahead of time are super helpful, especially the "Do Not Play List." My husband and I have lived in LA, Madison, and now Chicago and we've listened to countless DJs at bars, weddings, and numerous work or school-related events. On that note, Erik is By far the best DJ I've ever encountered at a wedding (he actually was the DJ at one of our friend's weddings), and we were willing to get him at any cost for our special day. Anyways, I think the point is clear. Go with Erik, and I guarantee your wedding reception will be unforgettable.

Piano Fondue was one of our favorite vendors. They were so responsive and easy to work with. They came to the venue to help us figure out an ideal set up, accommodated all of our music requests and served as the MC to keep things moving during dinner. Chris was awesome at coordinating everything and Josh was a great MC and entertainer! We went above our initial budget to book them but it was money incredibly well spent! With the dueling piano and DJ combo, there was a little something for everybody and all of the employees were extremely professional. All of our friends and family members commented positively on the entertainment and it is truly something that we remember as a highlight of our very busy big day. Just having dueling pianos at our work holiday party boosted the attendance. It's something that appeals across the age groups. The Piano Fondue setup was super professional looking and they had it all setup before I even got there. The guests were singing along and super excited when they pianists knew their obscure requests like the Pokémon rap and their college fight song. We really loved working with Event Fondue!! It gave our event the zest we were hoping for!! They were incredibly effective with their set up and the full experience from sound, to lighting, to music selection created a lasting impression on our staff. Our corporate event is one to remember thanks to Piano Fondue!

Additional feedback and suggestions:
I was a little bummed to have "Anaconda" play so early in the evening. I think this was probably the 6-8th song of the night, and it wasn't the right crowd for that. I know a few of our team members were a little perplexed at that song choice. Even if it was requested, we wish this song wouldn't have been played.

While I don't feel this way, I did have a few staff members survey after the event and share that they didn't particularly like being razzed to participate at the beginning of the show. They would have liked to see the performers duel a little more... rather than try to get our group to interact. Like I said, I don't particularly mind getting interactive, but I wanted to share the feedback from our group.

We did have a few folks concerned with the noise level... but again, I don't necessarily agree.

Really appreciate how great you were to work with and your level of flexibility and attentiveness to our suggestions and hopes. Thankful for having such a great piano dueling vendor in Madison--we're lucky to have you!

Piano Fondue was fun, energetic, and professional. Our event was at the Edgewater. We had some issue with the sound system, which wasn't a reflection on Piano Fondue. But is something others need to be aware of that the music was too loud in the Ballroom.

If you want something unique on your wedding day this is the way to go. We received many compliments on the dueling pianos and the dance floor was full all evening.

We found the entire group wonderful to work with. They were easy and flexible to work with and very prompt with communication. The pianists were fantastic and the dance flow was packed. Numerous people told us that our music was the best they have ever heard at a wedding. We did the best of both worlds package, which is dueling pianos and a DJ, and would completely recommend this to others. Book them and you will not regret your decision!!

Excellent to work with and extremely helpful. Definitely a good value as it was priced very competitively and we still received a great service (DJ, lighting, etc). I would recommend spending more time selecting music choices prior to an event to ensure everything played is something the hosts enjoy. A few songs were played at our wedding that we did not like, but the DJ quickly responded and changed when requested. DJ wasn't familiar with the Jewish tradition of the horrah so had a bit of an awkward transition into the dance, but all worked out well.
