We are so grateful to have had Scott as our wedding pianist! From the very beginning, he was professional, communicative, and such a joy to work with. He took the time to ask about our preferences and even went above and beyond by learning a couple of new songs for us since we had some untraditional ceremony music in mind. On the wedding day, his talent brought such a special and intimate touch to the ceremony — it truly set the tone and made the entire moment feel magical. We couldn’t have imagined it any better and would recommend Scott to anyone looking to make their day unforgettable. -

Scott was amazing. He worked hard helping with rehearsal and wedding day. He worked in coordination with Deoc ensemble as well. The music was flawless, very beautiful, our wedding day wouldn't have been the same without him! -

I don't necessarily write reviews as much as I would like because my schedule is in a constant state of craziness but I had to take the time to review Scott. I'm not sure if it was either pure luck or true destiny to have found Scott when searching for a pianist for our wedding day. Either way, I could not be more thankful. I sent over an inquiry to him and shortly after, Scott had sent back a personable short clip of his work. As I listened to it on my way home from work, it had brought literal happy tears to my eyes. I knew immediately that he would be the perfect person for the job. Scott's communication was on point. He was quick to respond to any emails/texts I sent. I had hired a violinist as well and Scott took the time out of his day to travel to our venue on our wedding rehearsal day to ensure his role would be perfected and coordinated with them well. He is very professional, takes his job very seriously, and aims to please. We hired him to play for our ceremony as well as the cocktail hour. I received numerous compliments from our wedding guests (including my father who is a hard one to please lol) saying that he did an outstanding performance and I could not agree more! I would hire Scott a thousand times over again in a heartbeat! He did not disappoint! -

I hired Scott Todd to play piano during my wedding this August, and he FAR exceeded my expectations! His communication throughout the entire process made it so easy and stress free. He even sent a video introduction with song samples, and helped collaborate on song timing. He was able to accommodate all of my song requests and even stayed after the ceremony to play for our cocktail hour. He found a violinist to accompany him that day, making it even more special. I received SO many compliments throughout the day on the beautiful music. I HIGHLY recommend Scott if you are looking for a pianist for any event, especially a wedding. I would not hesitate to hire Scott again in the future. -

Scott played during our ceremony in August 2019 and did a fabulous job. His website was very easy to navigate- https://www.pianobyscott.com/ - and gave a synopsis of his career, musical genres, along with music samples. We contacted him about 1 1/2 months prior to our wedding and he responded within 24 hrs, excited to work with us. We discussed what as a couple we were looking for, including timing, genre, and any special requests. What made the day extra special, Scott prepared a special arrangement of our wedding song, "Grow As We Go" by Ben Platt. He sent us a link to his arrangement prior to the big day and it was truly breathtaking. Scott kept in constant communication with us all the way up to our wedding; he came the day before to our home to talk to us about layout and made sure that he had a solid general knowledge of the surroundings so he could easily set up and not disturb my family on our wedding day. That was greatly appreciated as with every wedding day - was hectic! Scott was an amazing addition to our day and set the perfect setting to a truly remarkable day. I would suggest him to anyone looking to host an event in the Bloomington area. He is super easy to work with and dedicated to making every event extra special. -

We had a winter wedding with an outdoor ceremony and Scott was still very willing to perform outdoors in the cold. He was very accommodating with the entire event especially with our music selection of custom songs that he even wrote the sheet music for as well as playing songs outside of his repertoire. His experience was super helpful in making the ceremony go smoothly.
Was got tons of compliments from all of the guests on the quality of his performance!
