There isn't enough words to describe how amazing Rob and Jill were to work with. From start to finish they exceeded every expectation I had. Yes, their skills are amazing but their personalities make it that much better and more fun. I 100% recommended them to ANYONE looking for a photographer. Everything was done within the timeline stated and they really blew it out of the water! -

It was like having a couple extra friends there on our day. They are so fun to have there, and every single photo is beautiful! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars because they deserve it!

There are not enough words to describe how incredible Rob and Jill are. From the beginning, Jill helped to coordinate with us and get everything booked and coordinated. She thinks of everything and is so organized! Rob is the sweetest and made sure I felt comfortable and relaxed the entire day. He is so creative and does an amazing job capturing exactly how people feel. He even ran out with my husband and I in the drizzling rain to make sure he captured the little bit of sunset we got on our rainy wedding day. This team goes above and beyond. You could not ask for anything better. We will treasure our wedding photos forever. -

They captured the fun, joy, love and all the details of our daughter and son-in-law's wedding. Rob's direction and attention to detail is amazing. What I love most of all, Rob took such good care of our daughter, making her laugh and at ease. It was incredible seeing her enjoy every single moment of her and Richard's big day. Photography is a big part of our lives, so important to us. Rob's style, his personality, it was a match made in heaven. Thank you for making time stop in the amazing memories you captured. Truly a talented professional and we are so grateful.

I can’t say enough great things about Rob and his breathtaking work! My new husband and I live out of state but we chose to get married in St. Augustine. I was so nervous trying to choose important vendors from a distance and spent hours upon hours scrolling through various photographers and their work. Finding a great photographer was a long process for me because it was one of the most important aspects of my wedding planning. I not only wanted to find someone who I felt confident would deliver beautiful images from our wedding day, but who would also personalize my experience and make my husband and I feel like more than just the “client of the day”.
By the time I came across Rob’s work and had my first phone conversation with him, I knew without a doubt he was the one for us. He immediately put me at ease and I was obsessed with his work from the minute I saw it. On our wedding day, he went above and beyond our expectations. He provided gentle but necessary directions in the chaotic moments that led to our ceremony. Rob captured genuine and candid moments throughout the process and managed to be in about 100 different places at once. He was also able to command our rowdy group of friends and family so we were able to get all the bridal party and family portraits we wanted, but not once did Rob ever come off as sounding rude or unpleasant. He had everyone smiling and laughing throughout the night and by the time the reception came to an end, my husband and I felt like we had made a lifelong friend.
After receiving our final images I wanted to cry tears of happiness. It was like reliving our wedding day all over again and I still can’t stop scrolling through our pictures. The final product was a beautiful mix of candid moments and gorgeously staged portraits. I would recommend Rob to any couple looking for an amazing and personable wedding day photographer. Hands down, it was one of the best decisions we made! -

Rob and Jill went above and beyond for every aspect of our wedding. They captured the day perfectly and were a ton of fun to work with. They are both extremely experienced, and know exactly what shots to take for pictures that you will cherish for the rest of your life.
Rob and Jill were both ready for action on our wedding day. Jill met with the groomsmen for pictures and Rob was with the bridesmaids. Both sets of pictures turned out wonderful with a great selection of beautiful, funny, and emotional shots. Rob and Jill were well positioned throughout the ceremony to capture fantastic pictures without distracting anyone from the wedding. After the ceremony, the Futrell team did an excellent job of wedding party and family pictures. They were extremely organized and efficiently got through all of the pictures so everyone could get to the reception. They also did a great job of directing everyone in the pictures to make sure we all looked our absolute best. Rob and Jill were a ton of fun at the reception and all of our guests loved them. They captured a great balance of pictures of everyone that was at the wedding. Some of our favorite pictures are the candid action shots they took.
Photo editing is a huge part of the process, and Rob went all out to make our pictures perfect. Jill also created a gorgeous wedding album that we will cherish forever. They took all of our requests into account and really personalized the whole experience. Communication was always quick and easy, and they made us feel like we were their only wedding.
We love our wedding pictures and they are so much fun to look through and remember the day. We 100% recommend working with Photos by Futrell. If Rob and Jill are available for your wedding date, book them now!

Rob and Jill are simply fantastic. From our initial meeting, to the engagement shoot, to the wedding day... it was all perfect. Rob brought a fun dynamic to our crew on the day of wedding. We chose Photos by Rob Futrell as our wedding photographer and Jill and Rob exceeded our expectations. They manage to make you feel like you have known them for ages, so there is no awkwardness at all. In addition, they respect special requests and wishes and are very flexible when it comes to the schedule, timing and place.

We would highly recommend Photos by Rob! Rob did both our engagement and wedding photos and we are so happy with how everything came out. Both Rob and Jill are great to work with. They put us at ease during sessions and made us both feel comfortable. They go above and beyond to make sure you get exactly what you want! We just got all of our wedding photos back and we LOVE THEM! Highly recommend Photos by Rob!

Shelby Sent on 10/19/2017Rob Futrell is by far the most talented photographer I have ever known. He puts you at ease the moment you meet him. He understands every idea that you have while finding ways to elevate your idea beyond your dreams. He is a prodigiously brilliant, kind, funny, engaged, hardworking, caring, inventive artist. Our wedding day elopement in Charleston was intimate and perfect. Rob and his assistant Meg drove to and from Charleston (the same day) and captured any and every seemingly tiny moment throughout the day. Having Rob there was second only to marrying my incredible husband.

Although we never got the chance to meet Jill, she was very responsive in communicating with us and preparing us prior to the wedding! Rob was great to work with and even took up the opportunity to leave Florida for an Iowa wedding. Rob turned into a friend and was a blast to hang out with all day! He even joined in on our Scottish attire. The pictures turned out amazing and only contributed to the suburb experience Rob provided!

Rob and Jill did everything they could and more to make our wedding memorable. They were super responsive anytime we needed them before the big day, and they were always on top of everything.
We love our engagement pictures, wedding pictures, and the beautiful wedding album. We still get so many compliments about Rob because he truly made our guests' experience better with every interaction. We even had a mishap with our seating chart display that morning and Jill came to our rescue!
We'd recommend them to anyone looking for a talented photographer they can trust to do a phenomenal job every step of the way. -

Let me start by saying that Rob (and his lovely wife Jill) are an amazing pair to work with! From our beautiful engagement photos (where we knew we would love them come wedding day), to our actual wedding day, Rob was absolutely amazing. Handling the quick turn around of weddings, guiding us to make sure we get amazing photos (which we completely did), to capturing the most beautiful moments that we will cherish forever, Rob was an A+++ photographer. This guy right here is dedicated to his work(he even jumped down into the rocks by the crashing water, just to get that perfect shot!!) His vision and style is unique and top it off with his fun, outgoing personality, there isn't anyone else my husband and I would have wanted to capture our day!

It's hard to keep reviews succinct without repeating so much of the information already given about the amazing duo that Rob & Jill make!
Photography wise, their photos are beautiful and professional- with beautifully classic portraits and bridal photos, to fantastic journalism-styled in-the-moment photos that you will laugh, love, and cherish. It's everything you want from professional wedding photography, and with such a keen eye for composition and lighting it's hard to believe he ever did anything else before becoming a photographer.
Besides their amazing portfolio, Rob & Jill are honestly the most fun, down-to-earth, personable duo you will ever work with. Rob is the kind of guy that will meet you and you'll feel like you've known him for 10 years; he's the kind of guy that will get you hot chocolate on a whim for your husband and you because it was chilly out, and will be your bouncer to make sure you've gotten a chance to eat with all the craziness going on during your wedding- all while still managing to take amazing shots the whole time.
My only regret is that me and my husband live out of state, and that we may have to return to Jacksonville if (read- WHEN) we want to hire them again in the future.
TL;DR: These two are the unicorns of the photography world. -
