Chris at PhotoHawaii is simply amazing! We first worked with him for our engagement photos and already knew he would be the perfect fit for our wedding day. He exceeded every expectation!
Neither of us are naturals in front of the camera, and we were nervous about not knowing how to pose. Chris makes you feel completely comfortable with his strong sense of direction. He pays close attention to every detail, gives easy tips (even down to what to do with a stray hand or foot!), and turns the whole experience into something fun instead of stressful or awkward.
Choosing vendors for a wedding can feel overwhelming because you want to make sure their vision aligns with yours. Even more importantly, that their energy matches yours. Something couples don’t always realize until it’s over: photographers are with you from beginning to end of the day and let me tell you… Chris definitely passes the vibe check! He’s fun, easy to work with, and our wedding party loved being around him too (:
On top of that, he’s fantastic at organizing a big group, which was such a lifesaver with our large family. Our photos turned out absolutely stunning, and we couldn’t be happier with how he captured all the love and joy of the day.
Lastly, one of the best choices we made was hiring Chris for a secondary shoot after the wedding. This gave us the chance to spend more of our wedding day with friends and family who had traveled so far to celebrate with us, without sacrificing the opportunity to capture more beautiful portraits together. Plus, he picked out the perfect time to go there for the location we chose.
11/10 we highly recommend Chris of PhotoHawaii Inc. to any couple still looking for a photographer. He’s talented, professional, and an absolute joy to work with. Mahalo Chris!! -

Absolutely LOVE our wedding photos!!
Chris from PhotoHawaii did an incredible job in shooting our wedding! He took so many incredible photos and we are so so happy that he was able to capture our day! He was also super helpful in answering our questions and helping us plan for our big day. He was overall very organized, professional, and a pleasure to work with. -

Chris blew away all our expectations for wedding photos! He captured all the special moments of our wedding day in such a beautiful way - I cannot stop looking through the photos! We are absolutely thrilled with how they all turned out.
Chris was also amazing to work with from beginning to end. My husband and I had never done a professional photo shoot together, so we really had no clue what we were doing, but Chris made us feel so comfortable and directed us the whole time so it was super easy.
He was also everywhere during the reception, capturing all kinds of great candid moments with our guests. It was so fun getting to relive the whole night when we got the photos back.
I cannot recommend Photo Hawaii enough; you won't be disappointed! -

Best photographer on earth!
Christopher is the most incredible photographer I have ever seen! The moment I saw his photos, I stopped looking and said I HAVE TO HAVE THIS MAN DO MY PHOTOS FOR MY WEDDDING! His mood of the photos are not light and airy and not dark and moody. His style is just perfect. He also told us how to stand and what to do. Most people are models and don't know how to stand or look. He made sure we looked natural and gorgeous in every photo. Christopher was the best during COVID. He answered all my questions, move our date without a transfer fee. I seriously couldn't be more thankful for him! He was worth every single penny! -

Chris is a phenomenal photographer. He is an extremely kind and fun person, with great creativity and professionalism that produced the most beautiful Wedding Photos. He captured the true spirit of the day that was filled with love and laughter with our family/friends in attendance. We also took photos at the beach for sunset - they are so incredibly amazing! Christopher is an incredible photographer. We had been corresponding for about a year prior to the wedding and he was always very communicative, friendly and helpful. I knew from his portfolio that his work would be exceptional. Not only that but he has a great personality and put us both at ease. It tricky planning a wedding from afar but he helped us every step of the way. During the was very subtle and our guests didn't even know he was there. Now that we have been able to share our photos with friends and family they are blown away out how they turned out. I was impressed with pricing and value you get. After looking thru tons of photographers for out destination wedding I went with photo Hawai’i, & let me tell you I couldn’t have asked for better!!!! He did such an amazing job! There really aren't enough positive descriptors in the English language for me to use when describing our wedding photo experience with Christopher from Photo Hawaii. Christopher was on time and used every second of his shoot time to capture the most amazing photos. As a bride who doesn't really enjoy being the center of attention and has never enjoyed taking pictures the photo portion of the day was originally giving me the most anxiety. But the minute Chris walked in he put me at ease, made me feel so comfortable and helped keep my nerves in check, which all translated into beautiful photos. His time management of the day was on point but not once did my husband and I feel rushed while taking pictures.
Not only did he capture amazing photos that I will treasure till the end of time but he had them done and edited before we left the island! Chris invited us to his studio to view them which was something unexpected and special. Even our friends and family commented on how professional and wonderful Chris was during the wedding.
If you're having trouble picking the right photographer for you event, stop waffling and call Photo Hawaii. You'll be so happy working with Chris and ecstatic with the photos he takes. -

If you are looking for a professional talented wedding photographer you have found the right place. From the moment we met Chris he was friendly, professional and east to work with. Making you feel very comfortable. Our wedding photos have turned out better than we could have ever imagined!! We are extremely happy with the service he has provided. The price was also very reasonable. Also, we only had to wait a few weeks to get the photos back. I've had friends wait up to three months to even see their wedding photos.
We were very stressed on the day of the wedding and had a lot complications with the vendor. Chris stepped up and help organize our event, over a beyond a simple wedding photographer. He sincerely cared about us and our experience. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and I would recommend him to anyone getting married. -

Chris photographed our wedding and he did an outstanding job! Through the Photo Hawaii website we’re were able to see a nicely organized and updated website and blog with recent weddings he did. It made it easy for us to chose Photo Hawaii. He was easily accessible via email the weeks leading up to the wedding to organize our day and what we wanted. We presented him with quite a lengthy list of photos we would like with our attending families and he organized it perfectly. It took no time at all and the shots he got were great. We got married at the Royal Lahaina and he was aware of all the places to get the perfect shot. Our beach and sunset photos turned out fantastic. We couldn’t be happier with his service. We HIGHLY recommended him! -

Very laid back & felt as if he was apart of the wedding party.
Chris was our photographer and he was amazing from the start. Both my husband and I were so pleased with him. He made us feel comfortable as we can both be a little awkward behind the camera but made us feel as if he wasn’t there. I wouldn’t have traded anything with him. Also, only took two weeks to get our photos back. I did bug him also to get a preview which I got about a week after the wedding. I really appreciate that being so impatient. Would recommend to anyone! -

He captured all of the special moments that happen so quickly during your big day. He was so easy to work with and has such a great attitude and personality all while remaining professional. We did multiple shoots on some of the most amazing locations that I would have never have found on my own. He truly made it an unforgettable adventure with images that turned into true pieces of art. He made us feel so special on our wedding day. He did everything he could to accommodate our requests. We cherish all of our photos and would recommend him to everyone. Michael was so professional and quick to respond to any emails or calls that i made to him. I was so relieved having such great communication with him since we live in California. Michael was all smiles and cheery even though our wedding was outside during a hurricane. Looking back at all the pictures you can tell his vibe made a difference!
