I knew after one conversation with Anne and her husband Tom, I had found the perfect photographers for our wedding. We had so much fun taking our engagement pictures at our favorite spots in Charleston with Anne. She made us feel super comfortable so the photos came out casual and natural, which was exactly what we were hoping. When the pandemic hit, I was really concerned about Anne's availability to do a smaller wedding at our house in Hilton Head. While Anne had family vacation plans, she assured me her team was excellent and would do a fabulous job. We had changed our time to a morning wedding on the beach which I knew would be a challenge with lighting for any photographer. But WOW, Anne's team, Aleece and Nicole, did not disappoint. The pictures I included say it all!! We could not imagined more perfect pictures to capture our beautiful wedding. Besides being extremely professional, Aleece and Nicole were efficient and just really fun to have with us on our wedding day. Our overall experience was exceptional, especially given the crazy circumstance we were in with the pandemic. Anne was calm and reassuring with every phone call. I cannot say enough about Anne and her team, but most importantly the quality of the photos we will have for years to come of our beautiful wedding day on the beach. -

Our pictures turned out absolutely gorgeous!! Anne was amazing to work with and she listened to what we wanted in our pictures and went above the task. Her whole team was so kind and flexible the day of the wedding. We also bought the photo albums for us and our parents. I can’t wait to see them and give them to our family. -

Best Decision Ever Made
Anne and her team did a top notch job! The photos are exceptional and she captured moments beautifully! There is not a photo taken this I was not completely in love with. We had our dog in our formal family photos and portraits too and she was able to capture our dogs attention and they turned out better than we could have ever expected! You will absolutely love working with Anne! -

Anne and her team were truly incredible! She was so organized and had great ideas for our wedding day! Since we live in different cities, she made time to chat on the phone and talk about the photos and locations we wanted. On the day of the wedding, she was so helpful and kind and her smile truly added to the special day! Most importantly, the pictures came out BEAUTIFUL! She is so talented and I am so grateful for all of her work! I will have these beautiful photos for the rest of my life.

Anne and her team were amazing to work with. From the first time I spoke to them over the phone to book them, they were extremely friendly and accommodating. They kept in touch with me prior to the wedding and made sure a plan was in place for the day well in advance. When our wedding day arrived, they were there on time ready to go, even though we weren't (hair and makeup took a little longer than expected!). And when it started raining during the time of our "first look", they quickly changed plans and brought us to a perfect covered location where the photos turned out beautiful. They captured every moment we hoped for, and we were so excited to see the proofs when they came out a month later. We picked a few for 8 x 10s and they came out perfect, and were definitely a good value. I'm so happy that we also have the thumb drive of all of our pictures so I can put together a picture book myself. Overall, we couldn't have picked a better photographer and team for our wedding, and we highly recommend them to anyone in the area! -

Wedding in Bluffton, SC
I cannot say enough positive things about this company as a whole and the team on the wedding day. My fiance and I were sold on choosing this vendor just by looking through the website. Anne's work is flawless and her style of photography is exactly what I wanted for my wedding. The packages they offer are very well-priced so this was an easy decision for us. I wouldn't have successfully made it through the wedding day without Anne and her assistant keeping me on track. Planning the wedding from Atlanta, most of our communication was via email and phone. Tom and Anne were wonderful to work with throughout the whole process. Anne and I put together a wedding day timeline and shot list through email and it turned out to be perfect. The communication from booking to execution was so timely and helpful. If you are looking for a local photographer in the lowcountry, look no further and book Photography by Anne!!! -

Incredible experience
We contracted Photography by Anne, Inc. (Anne Caufmann) back in 2017 to photograph the "surprise" engagement of our daughter to her then "boyfriend." Anne and her Team were incredible. They all became a part of the plan. Aleece took some of the most beautiful pictures and was so easy to work with. Tom and Anne were fantastic to work with from the first call about the what's and the where's, to booking and so on.
We enjoyed the experience so much, that we hired them for Bridal Portraits, Wedding Rehearsal photos and the "BIG DAY"! Anne and her ENTIRE TEAM were AWESOME!!! They spent hours on the phone working through timing and plans prior to each event and then made the days we spent together a PLEASURE. They even brought a cooler of water during the outdoor Bridal Portrait session.
The wedding was just 2 weeks ago and we have already received a "sneak peek" at the wedding photos. They are PURELY SPECTACULAR!!!
We will be contacting Anne and her Team at Photography By Anne, Inc. for future events and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone!

Thank you so much for capturing the most beautiful pictures of our engagement, my bridal portraits, and our wedding! Anne is so very professional, talented and filled with such a positive and fun energy. She has the ability to make anyone feel comfortable and so beautiful! I could not believe my bridal portraits and I am anxiously awaiting the viewing of all of our wedding pictures. Karen, her assistant, is also such a joy to be around! Having them on my "team" was one of the highlights of my entire wedding. Stephanie Sent on 07/04/2012I did a search for photographers on Hilton Head Island, and immediately fell in love with Anne's site. She was easy to contact and relay information back and forth. What was the best is that she was originally from our town and still has family there and we were able to meet a week before the wedding to go over shot lists and ideas. The day of the wedding she was very professional and had a keen eye for great pictures. If you are getting married on Hilton Head, I would highly recommend her!!
