  Best Decision Ever Made

  Anne and her team did a top notch job! The photos are exceptional and she captured moments beautifully! There is not a photo taken this I was not completely in love with. We had our dog in our formal family photos and portraits too and she was able to capture our dogs attention and they turned out better than we could have ever expected! You will absolutely love working with Anne!

  Destination Wedding

  Anne and her team did an amazing job capturing our day. There were so many candid moments, and looking through the photos was like reliving the day. Anne was very professional, and had many good suggestions before our wedding day. I would highly recommend Photography by Anne to anyone that wants a beach wedding!

  May 5, 2021 Dolan/Miller Wedding Celebration

  Anyone getting engaged or married in the Charleston, SC area would be very lucky to have Anne and her staff as their professional photographers! We worked with Anne personally for almost two years and it was such a pleasure. The engagement session was so much fun and the photos were great. The formal bridal portrait session and the ceremony/reception photos were even more amazing. Anne is kind, creative, talented, and professional. She is very knowledgable of all the best locations for taking scenic wedding photos; the parks, historic sites, charming downtown streets, etc. Thank you, Anne for making our daughter's wedding celebration so beautiful and memorable!

  Captured our day of smiles!

  Anne and her team were truly incredible! She was so organized and had great ideas for our wedding day! Since we live in different cities, she made time to chat on the phone and talk about the photos and locations we wanted. On the day of the wedding, she was so helpful and kind and her smile truly added to the special day! Most importantly, the pictures came out BEAUTIFUL!   I can’t say enough good things about Anne and her team! Beautiful photos were one of my wedding list must-haves and, after looking at the online galleries of multiple photographers in SC/GA, I went with Anne.   Exception Photographers from Start to Finish

  I knew after one conversation with Anne and her husband Tom, I had found the perfect photographers for our wedding. We had so much fun taking our engagement pictures at our favorite spots in Charleston with Anne. She made us feel super comfortable so the photos came out casual and natural, which was exactly what we were hoping. When the pandemic hit, I was really concerned about Anne's availability to do a smaller wedding at our house in Hilton Head. While Anne had family vacation plans, she assured me her team was excellent and would do a fabulous job. We had changed our time to a morning wedding on the beach which I knew would be a challenge with lighting for any photographer. But WOW, Anne's team, Aleece and Nicole, did not disappoint. The pictures I included say it all!! We could not imagined more perfect pictures to capture our beautiful wedding. Besides being extremely professional, Aleece and Nicole were efficient and just really fun to have with us on our wedding day. Our overall experience was exceptional, especially given the crazy circumstance we were in with the pandemic. Anne was calm and reassuring with every phone call. I cannot say enough about Anne and her team, but most importantly the quality of the photos we will have for years to come of our beautiful wedding day on the beach.

  Incredible experience

  We contracted Photography by Anne, Inc. (Anne Caufmann) back in 2017 to photograph the "surprise" engagement of our daughter to her then "boyfriend." Anne and her Team were incredible. They all became a part of the plan. Aleece took some of the most beautiful pictures and was so easy to work with. Tom and Anne were fantastic to work with from the first call about the what's and the where's, to booking and so on.
  
  We enjoyed the experience so much, that we hired them for Bridal Portraits, Wedding Rehearsal photos and the "BIG DAY"! Anne and her ENTIRE TEAM were AWESOME!!! They spent hours on the phone working through timing and plans prior to each event and then made the days we spent together a PLEASURE. They even brought a cooler of water during the outdoor Bridal Portrait session.
  
  The wedding was just 2 weeks ago and we have already received a "sneak peek" at the wedding photos. They are PURELY SPECTACULAR!!!

  I cannot say enough positive things about this company as a whole and the team on the wedding day. My fiance and I were sold on choosing this vendor just by looking through the website. Anne's work is flawless and her style of photography is exactly what I wanted for my wedding. The packages they offer are very well-priced so this was an easy decision for us. I wouldn't have successfully made it through the wedding day without Anne and her assistant keeping me on track. Planning the wedding from Atlanta, most of our communication was via email and phone. Tom and Anne were wonderful to work with throughout the whole process. Anne and I put together a wedding day timeline and shot list through email and it turned out to be perfect. The communication from booking to execution was so timely and helpful. If you are looking for a local photographer in the lowcountry, look no further and book Photography by Anne!!!

They kept in touch with me prior to the wedding and made sure a plan was in place for the day well in advance. When our wedding day arrived, they were there on time ready to go, even though we weren't (hair and makeup took a little longer than expected!). And when it started raining during the time of our "first look", they quickly changed plans and brought us to a perfect covered location where the photos turned out beautiful. They captured every moment we hoped for, and we were so excited to see the proofs when they came out a month later. We picked a few for 8 x 10s and they came out perfect, and were definitely a good value. I'm so happy that we also have the thumb drive of all of our pictures so I can put together a picture book myself. Overall, we couldn't have picked a better photographer and team for our wedding, and we highly recommend them to anyone in the area!

They were honestly my favorite vendor to work with for my wedding, and she was super responsive about any questions I had in advance which was great because I was planning a destination wedding all the way from NYC. They also produced the most amazing and beautiful photos - I am so happy with all of them and so much effort was put into each one. Thank you so much for everything!!   Absolutely incredible!! Anne did both my wedding as well as a bridal photo shoot several weeks prior. She and her girls were so professional and make the whole experience fun. Her pictures are BEAUTIFUL! Highly highly highly recommend!!!

  Finding a photographer is not an easy task. Looking at their website, I was very impressed with the portfolio. When a friend of mine, who is an excellent amateur photographer, said she loved Anne's style, it was a no-brainer. Anne and Tom were excellent from the very beginning! They responded quickly and thoroughly to e-mails and phone calls and helped guide us through the process. On the wedding day, Nicole and her team were FANTASTIC!!! They were not pushy, blending into the background, which was fabulous. I have been at other weddings where the photographers take center stage which I always found annoying. The ladies were super sweet and I can't wait to see all of the pictures!

  There are NO WORDS that will accurately describe how I feel about Anne, Thomas, and her whole team. They truly make you feel part of their family and their communication is second to none! Anne's artistic capabilities with the camera is something that drew me to her work when searching for the perfect photographer. For our Save The Dates, she took us around downtown Charleston to some very cool locations that I never even knew existed. They are great at loosening you up too, my husband Jake is not the most photogenic person but she got us laughing and we completely forgot we were even having our photos taken. However, nothing beats our wedding photos! My husband and I love our dog and she was a major part of our wedding and Anne was able to capture these special moments with her that we will treasure forever. We also had a gorgeous light fixture underneath our chuppah and at night Anne took the most FANTASTIC pictures incorporating that and the moon behind us. The best part, whenever I show off my pictures to friends I can just feel the envy radiate off of them. Most people are not that happy with the end result of their photos and I couldn't be more pleased!! So, it goes without saying, if you haven't booked her yet you are definitely missing out!

  Anne was wonderful to work with! She was very responsive and got all of our pictures back to us within a month. If you do not want to have to worry about your pictures turning out perfect, definitely contact Anne. She has an eye!!! The pictures from our engagement session and wedding turned out perfect!!   Anne was wonderful to work with! She was very responsive and got all of our pictures back to us within a month. If you do not want to have to worry about your pictures turning out perfect, definitely contact Anne. She has an eye!!! The pictures from our engagement session and wedding turned out perfect!! She definitely caught so many candid shots!!! It was a pleasure working with her!!!

  Due to Hurricane Matthew, our Hilton Head wedding was canceled just 3 days prior to our wedding date. Devastated but extremely lucky, we were able to reschedule our wedding at a local venue in our home state of Virginia for the same day. The stress of trying to find all new vendors within 3 days was alleviated however when Anne and her assistant offered to travel to us for just the additional cost of their travelling expenses. We were extremely grateful they were able to make the trip and with such positive attitudes. The USB case and photo album included with our package was beautifully done and will be a forever keepsake!

  We used Photography By Anne for my daughter’s wedding at the end of June, and we couldn’t be happier! I contacted several photographers and met with most of them. Once I met with Anne, it was clear that she was the best choice for us as we just clicked from the initial contact. Anne and Tom were both so friendly and very good to work with during the planning process. They promptly answered any questions we had and made all the planning so easy. Leading up to the wedding Anne provided us with a detailed timeline and worked with us to revise it so as to tailor it to our event. On the wedding day Anne and her assistants arrived right on time and got right to work taking fantastic photographs of the girls getting ready. She was fun to work with, while also being professional and exceptionally creative at capturing all the excitement that was happening. During the ceremony and reception, they were busy taking pictures, but they did so professionally and were quite unobtrusive. The on-line gallery of photographs arrived just as promised, about thirty days after the event. They are fantastic! There are so many wonderful pictures and memories (which is so important as the night went by so quickly and was such a blur to us all); I don’t know how our daughter and her new husband are going to narrow down the shots for their album! The quality of her work is terrific, her pricing is fair and competitive, and she was great to work with. I’m so glad we used her for our daughter’s special day, and I’d recommend her without hesitation.

  Anne and her team were perfect! My husband and I are not into the stereotypical poses for photographs and Anne understood that and got some great natural shots. They made the day easy and stress free - it is obvious they have done this many times before. During the ceremony, it was like they weren't even there - in that you didn't hear the cameras clicking or see them in the periphery -yet they got great shots. If you are looking for a professional who just gets the job done without constant supervision or direction - Anne and her team are the ones for you!

I reached out for an inquiry based on all the good reviews online and decided to book Anne about 15 months prior to our wedding. We were an out of town couple and could only make one trip to Hilton Head before our wedding day. Anne kept her schedule open those couple days and made sure we met at a time that was most convenient for my husband and me. After meeting her I knew I had nothing to worry about regarding that aspect of the wedding. She was organized, we talked about what kind of shots we wanted to get, she asked all the right questions, and assured me her team would take care of the rest.
  
  Once the wedding day came Anne and her team were wonderful! The service didn’t stop there.
