Sunny is the best

Sunny photographed our June 2022 wedding at Morais Vineyards and we would totally recommend him!
We first contacted sunny after seeing his work with my sisters wedding. The quality of his work instantly caught our eyes! We were looking for a relaxed candid photography style that’s also classy and timeless! His way of capturing the moments that are just so natural. Sunny and his team ensured that we felt totally comfortable in front of the camera. He captured every moment of our big Indian wedding. His light hearted jokes and funny comments made our reception photo shoot totally enjoyable. We will definitely treasure these photos forever!

Best Wedding Videographer!

Sunny was wonderful to work with and did an excellent job filming our wedding. Our highlight reel looks like a Hollywood film and all of our wedding videos came back timely and high quality! We have received so many complements! We highly recommend Photographick's videography services!

The best photography/videography team we could have asked for!

Sunny and his team were extremely professional and prepared - they had even brought hand warmers for the cold! Their photos and videos were nothing short of spectacular and we are extremely pleased with the way they directed everything and worked with other vendors to capture our special day! Photographick ... Phototastic!

Honestly, no words can begin to describe how amazing Sunny and crew were able to produce a superior cinematic experience especially during covid times!

So we shall say this: if we were at a bar, and you run into your favorite cousin randomly after seeing them in like forever, you drop everything and give them the biggest bear hug ever!

Just like in DDLJ, Simran runds towards Raj, Photographic was able to capture each heart felt moment, tear jerker, and comedic scene. Such a warm crew of delicious misfits make you feel comfortable and it's like everyone is one big whole family.

Amazing Photo and Video Team!

We hired Photographick Studios for our wedding this past year based on the recommendations of friends. From the beginning everything was amazing - the communication was quick and precise, they gave us tons of ideas to make our wedding that much better, they took the lead in finding locations for our couples shoot and assisted with the timeline and other odds and ends completely outside of their job. After the wedding we got some amazing and fantastic photographs of moments Sapan and I didn't even know occurred, we received tons and tons of photographs that were absolutely amazing and we couldn't have made a better choice in hiring photographick. Our wedding films were far better than we imagined with so many moments captured it was simply amazing. You can't go wrong hiring them - it was one of our best decisions from our wedding.

Photographick Studios is the BEST!

One of our top priorities for our wedding was to have great photography & cinematography and Photographick delivered! We were planning our wedding remotely and Sunny was so easy to work with remotely. He responded quickly to our emails and listened to what we wanted and so easy to talk/work with. He also has a great sense of humor which made working with him that much better! Sunny and his team were flexible with any last minute changes we had. We had a summer wedding so on the day of, he and his team worked hard in the hot weather, always had a very positive and easy going attitude Since we didn't have a wedding planner, his team helped wrangle people for photos. The team had awesome suggestions and made sure we got what we wanted even though we were limited on time. Our film is beautiful and makes me tear up every time I watch it. Sunny gave us the option to pick our own music for our highlight film but the songs he suggested fit our key moments perfectly. We received beautiful wedding photos (day and night photos) and an emotional film to help us relive our wedding weekend forever. Thank you for your hard work and all the love you showed to us, our guests and our family.

Fantastic Experience - Exceptional Value

We searched over 100 photographers and cinematographers before picking Sunny and his team. From the onset they made us feel comfortable, excited for the wedding and as if we were their only clients. The photographs turned out amazing with so many moments captured that I didn't even remember or see. They also went around and ensured our families had photos with all their friends which made my parents every happy as well. It was the little things that they did to make sure everyone had a great experience but also the photographs were phenomenal as well.

Best Vendor We Hired

Photos and Videos were really important to us because we wanted to capture our wedding weekend. We had tons of guests, lots of events and we just wanted to make sure everything and everyone was captured. We worked with Sunny, John and the rest of the team to make sure everything was captured perfectly. They were easy to work with, made us laugh throughout the weekend, were laid back, got along with our family perfectly and by the end of the weekend felt and acted like family. The photos came out amazing and they captured and delivered far more photos than expected, the videos were great and they even provided some videos that we didn't even expect. The highlight reel had us reliving the wedding day over and over and over. They were amazing, I couldn't recommend them high enough = they were by far the best vendor we hired.

Best Decision

We did our research and looked into over 30 companies that did photography and videography. Once we met Sunny we fell in love with his personality and his ability to put us at ease not to mention his amazing photographs and emotional films. On the wedding day we were so at ease with him and his team they did everything to help us have the perfect day. Evan one of the cinematographers even ran out during the break to get us taco bell. The photographs and films were fantastic. They captured moments that we didn't even know happened, had amazing emotional photographs of our families and photographs of us that make us look absolutely stunning. We did our research and hired the best - do the same. Best decision of our wedding!

The best investment we made for our wedding

Sunny, John, JJ and team were simply amazing. Throughout the wedding we had so many of our guests tell us how amazing the same day wedding photos were and how lucky we were to hire such an amazing team. They spent 3 days with us photographing and filming the entire wedding weekend, they went above and beyond by staying later than contracted, helping us find the perfect locations for first look and evening couples shots and being beyond courteous and inviting to our guests. They were joking and hanging out with the bridal party, ensuring that all the elders had the photos they needed and even took photos on their phones and put us at ease the entire weekend. I would highly recommend hiring them - they are amazing.

Best Decision Made!

It's hard to find the words to express how happy and grateful we are to to have the breath taking images and emotional wedding film provided by Sunny and his team at Photographick. Sunny and his team made the whole process as painless and informative as it could be, and were great with communicating with me in person, via phone and email, and answering any questions we had, their photography and videography planning worksheets were simple to use and helped keep us organized. Sunny also did a fantastic job with working with us to come up with a very detailed timeline of the day of the wedding - where we would be at what time, and what and who he would be taking pictures of, etc. I was so impressed on the day of our actual wedding. Sunny and his entire team arrived earlier than stated and got to work right away. On top of all that, he kept us all on schedule and did a great job trying to get us all to relax and most importantly have fun and be ourselves. He has such a great personality, attitude, and cracked a lot of funny jokes. We received so many compliments from guests about how friendly and professional Sunny and his team were, and were surprised how seamlessly they moved about to capture every possible moment. We were recently given access to our full gallery and films. Each shot is like a piece of art or brings back emotions and wonderful memories from that day. Stunning and Emotional Photos

I loved working with the Photographick Studios team. I’ll never forget when I received the link to watch our video highlight. I was work sitting at my desk at work. I clicked the link to watch and I couldn’t get past the first 10 seconds without tearing up. It wasn’t the beautiful shot capturing the weather and the venue where we were married that moved me to tears – it was Sunny’s artistry and the way he captured the setting, paired with beautiful music, that moved me to tears.

I’d only seen the outside of our venue and I choked up! I felt the way I felt on my wedding day all over again. Needless to say, I had to wait to get to my car before I could finish watching the rest of our video.

Pictures are important and we love ours, but nothing brings you back to that special day the way a video can. Sunny and the Photographick team gave us a special, artistic, unique, beautiful gift that we will treasure forever.

It’s so true what they say, “A picture is worth a thousand words” (and they were spectacular)… but my wedding video is worth a million! I can't begin to thank sunny and his team! a photographer/videographer captures the most beautiful, memorable and emotional moments of your wedding and the Photographick team went above and beyond!
Sunny had been extremely approachable since day one. He helped us with ideas for pre-wedding photoshoot locations. He is so much fun to work with and so is the rest of his team. We had only 4 hours between our ceremony and reception, during these 4 hours Sunny put together the most amazing same day edit video for us to play at the reception.
Photographick Studios is one of the most hardworking and fun team to work with. My cousin has already booked the team for her wedding in 2019 and I would definitely recommend them to others!

Sunny and his team were so fun to work with! They made us feel comfortable, helped coordinate multilingual families for portraits and let us be adventurous with all the spots we shot at! Our same day edit (surprise for us) pictures were amazing and perfectly portray the beauty of the outdoors while still letting us shine! I love Sunny's aesthetic! I was getting ready with all of my bridesmaids, friends and a make-up artist so it was a bit crowded but they worked around the chaos and captured us all and pictures of the little details like my shoes, earrings and lengha. This review is long overdue--we got married in late June 2017 and I picked our photographer shortly after getting engaged. I knew it was going to be one of the most important vendors to get right. And we did get it right, so right!! Sunny’s whole team was absolutely spectacular—they all have a fun and spunky personalities that not only put me at easy but also my conservative Indian parents (not an easy task). Phtograhick Studios and the owner Sunny, came highly recommended from friends who were recently married. One of the things that drew me toward his pictures were the vibrant colors he uses and his brilliant eye for wide landscape shots. I wanted a photographer who would capture the stunning summer colors of the garden and the grandeur that our venue exuded. I reached out to Sunny and he was very responsive and professional.
He uses the best equipment out there and will hike up a mountain if you need him to, just to get the shot. Sunny is very nice and explains the entire wedding photography process clearly. He answered any questions we had and listened to our vision for the big day. I emailed him a list of the photos I knew I definitely wanted and he took each and every single one.
He did not leave our side all day/night, and in the evening pulled us away for some incredibly stunning evening shots by the fountains. He got everyone to smile and look their happiest during our day All in all, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend the Photographick team to everyone.

Photographick came highly recommended from numerous friends, family, venues and vendors and I fully understand exactly why. They are very professional, talented and still manage to have a good time and keep you smiling on your wedding weekend! Our wedding was originally planned to take place outside but a huge storm prevented that from happening, so typical for DC. However, the photo and video team managed to get so many gorgeous pictures that were undercover, but still outside. Incredible customer service and delivery! Sunny and his team provided photo and video services for our wedding! His team was professionl and fun, they kept my husband and I laughing and smiling and the photo and videos show exactly that! He captured my day like a fairlytale, I still look back and the video and cannot believe the quality and the story that was told-beyond any expectation that I've had. The same day video edit still has my guests talking. Thank you so much for not only your professionalism but also the value that you provide. Simply put, Sunny and Edward were some of the most calm, professional and humble people I've ever encountered in my life. My wife and I hired Sunny and Photographick studios based solely on word of mouth and the opinion of friends and I couldn't have been happier with the results I got on my wedding day. I dropped the ball and didn't even ask Sunny if they could send a photographer to my hotel room while I was getting ready with my guys until the night before at 11pm. Not only did Ed get there, but he was there right on time and was a total gentleman. Sunny and Ed directed me and my wife's family throughout the night to ensure that we had the best lighting possible for our pictures. Since we had an outdoor wedding, these pictures were very important to my wife. She has always envisioned herself getting married outside, in the fall and specifically in October. Who am I to say no to any of those things? The weather was perfect, the colors made everything look awesome and Sunny was spectacular. I have followed the trailers, highlights, short and feature films that were published over the years by Photographick Studios, and I knew I had to them film the most important day of my life. Needless to say, being captivated by the vibrant imagery and fairy-like tales of all those other couples was in reality selling the entire experience short. The team’s professional attitude and unobtrusive approach made working with them easy and natural! One of the features I valued most about Photographick Studios was that I went into my day with complete confidence and trust in the capable team. What was even more remarkable was the finished product. I expected something stellar, and brilliant and fun. What I didn't expect was the extent of their creativity and keen intuitiveness, which completely captured the most significant moments, the most significant reactions and the most beautiful, overwhelming emotions that came from all the most important people in my life. Photographick helped us make memories of a lifetime! We loved working with Sunny and his team! From the initial meeting, up to the wedding day, they were responsive to our ideas and very kind. The day of our wedding would not have been complete without them. They were able to capture moments in which we didn't catch ourselves throughout all the chaos, and we are beyond thankful for that. Sunny and his team were accommodating and so kind every step of the way, and we were able to catch a glimpse of his work through the same-day editing -- which we LOVED. Not only were my husband and I so impressed with Photographick Studios, but our guests were too! Their staff is wonderful and truly goes out of their way to be accommodating! We used both their photo and video services and booked a package that included a Same Day Video Edit and a Live Feed. My husband and I first met Sunny 5 years ago when our best friends booked him for their wedding. He did an amazing job capturing their wedding. 2 years later I got engaged! There was no doubt in our minds
that we wanted to book Photographick!! Ever since our initial meeting we have felt that Sunny has become a close friend of ours as he is just as personal as he is professional! From our very first consultation with him you can tell he is interested in getting to know you as a couple, so he can make your video reflect the relationship you have and really highlight you as a couple! During the wedding day, we shared so many laughs with the Photographick team we hardly even knew they were photographing and filming as they made the process so easy and natural. As I'm sure many brides to be have already heard - your wedding day goes by so quickly... and after experiencing my wedding day the thing I am MOST grateful for....is that we had Photographick there to capture our day! His value is worth the lifetime of memories you will receive and you really cannot put a dollar amount on his work because in retrospect it is priceless!! There are a lot of little details and moments I forgot about the day after our wedding - and it wasn't until we received our BEAUTIFUL trailer from Sunny that we got to relive our day all over again and that memory is something that I could not imagine not having! My husband and I absolutely loved working with Sunny and his team. We felt really relaxed throughout the process, and his advice throughout the way was extremely helpful! We knew immediately that we wanted to work with Photographick, as soon as we got engaged, and we are so happy with our decision! The pictures from our engagement session, the wedding, and the reception are beautiful and exquisite. We were able to share our pictures easily with family and friends, and it was amazing how quickly they were able to display the same day edits at our reception. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the photo booth, and were amazed at how every moment was captured throughout the day.

Thank you to the entire Photographick team! Photographick provided us with wedding photography services and we added on a Same Day Edit and Photobooth. I've seen same day edits before but never like the one Photographick provided at my wedding. The pictures were from earlier in the day, our getting ready, first look, baraat and ceremony. I wasn't just amazed by the number of photos but the quality and emotion each photo evoked. Honestly, I thought it couldn't possibly get better and then we saw our wedding photos- all of them just three weeks after our wedding. Our day was captured better than we had planned, better than we could have ever dreamed.

Sunny at Photographick was the first vendor I contacted once we had our wedding date. I had seen his work over the past few years and was captivated by the artistry of his photography. Several of my friends had used Photographick for photo and video and they all were extremely pleased.

At our initial meeting, we had a lot of fun getting to know it each other and both my husband and I felt comfortable with Sunny right away. This comfort continued into our engagement photo session, which we did in DC all the way through our wedding day and even well after.

On our wedding day, I had no worries or stress related to the photography and video, I knew with Sunny’s talent and eye in combination with his team’s dedication and passion our photos and video would be beautiful. In additional to photo and video services they also provided us with a same day video edit which left every single guest in awe, guests still talk about it! He also provided us with a live feed which was incredibly helpful because we had over 500 guests at our wedding. I would not hesitate to recommend Photographick, they are the best!

We obtained photography and cinematography services from Photographick Studios with Kanika being our lead photographer. The turnaround with e-mails was normally within a few hours if not a day - they were extremely quick and thoughtful even helping us check off minor items and find issues with our timeline and wedding day. Items we would have never even thought of. In terms of wedding day they were amazing - they were there before our makeup artist and stayed the entire night - they captured events that I didn't even know occurred and easily at multiple places at the same time. There were a team of professionals ensuring everything was captured perfectly and the album as well as the blu-ray videos were superb. I highly recommend them for everything - money well spent!

Sunny and his team were amazing to work with! Sunny was the one vendor who would get in touch with me to arrange pre-wedding meetings and was very nice and flexible about working around my hectic schedule. He was always early and he has this very calm demeanor that truly made me feel at ease while working with.

Artistically speaking, the photos are of very high quality and Sunny made sure to capture absolutely every single shot I requested. He was so wonderful to work with, he truly earned his five stars! He fulfilled absolutely every single one of my requests and then went above and beyond. Do yourself a favor and have this person on your wedding team.

My wedding pictures were outstanding. Photographick captured some awesome moments and the color and composition were perfect. Being that it was December we didn't have many outdoor shots but Sunny scouted locations before hand and had great places in the hotel and the venue. He was also very professional and my family and guests had nothing but great things to say. Thank you Sunny!

The photographers with Photographick Studios are truly talented. My husband and I couldn't be more pleased with our pictures! I've been married for 3 months now, and I still look at my wedding/engagement session photos at least once a day! Sunny and his team were at each of my ceremonies on time and ready to photograph! They listened to exactly what we wanted and everything went great. I still will not forget the moment when my husband and I saw the same day reel at my reception- we were BLOWN AWAY. We also received our pictures shortly after the wedding. I have not seen anyone with the quality of photos that Photographick provides. My family members were so impressed with their work, and we cannot wait to see how wonderful our wedding video is going to turn out.

There are not enough words to express how great of an investment Photographick Studios will be in capturing your special day. Once the excitement dies down, the last song plays, and the final guest leaves - the memories Sunny and his team capture help you relive your day in ways you won't imagine. The moments after my fiancé and I were engaged, honestly, I think we may have contacted Photographick Studios to see if our potential dates were available for them so we could ensure they would be our photographers. Seriously, 5 Stars is not enough. If I had to describe my experience with Photographick in one word it would be 'Perfect'. Not only were they flexible, but they were a delight to interact with. We've had tons of compliments, and even heard from people who had seen photos, everyone was blown away. Sunny is incredibly professional and delivered very high quality of service. This guy is incredible. His work is beautiful and he has knack for composing the perfect shot. My husband and I are not photogenic by ANY stretch of the imagination but he had us stand and pose in such a way that our pictures (after editing) turned out great. He is very a very talented editor and really knows how to work with any light condition. It was super bright and sunny on our wedding day and he was able to prevent us from looking over-exposed. His work is featured in one of my favorite Indian wedding blogs: Maharani Weddings. Look for him there and on his website. His best work, in my opinion, is on facebook. He is worth what he costs and one of the best investments we made for one of the most memorable occasions in our lives.

Our Indian wedding was held on November 20, 2011 @ the Hyatt in Dulles VA. Photographick Studios was brought on to do the photography for our wedding, and we were very pleased with the quality and numerous pictures that Sunny Mathur and his team took to capture our special day! From the engagement photoshoot, the wedding day baraat procession and Hindu ceremony, and the reception party, Photographick Studios captured all the little details (wedding décor) and the personal expressions of ourselves during the wedding and those from our friends and families! These pictures will allow us to re-live our wedding day whenever we want, and our truly memories we will cherish together as a couple for a lifetime!

I think it's really important that on a day that is inherently stressful, the bride and groom are surrounded by people who are calm, friendly, and professional. Some of the best moments of my wedding was joking around with the staff of PhotographicK, because they brought a professional but happy and easy going atmosphere to a very stressful environment. I could not have asked for a better wedding photographer AND videographer. Photographick Studios (Sunny Mathur) demonstrated the highest level of of professionalism and skills that I have seen to date. Sunny photographed all 3 of my wedding events (sangeet, mehndi, and full wedding day + reception) as well as a 2 hour engagement session. If I could do it all over again, I would make the exact same choice. Here's why:

1 - Excellent work. Sunny takes amazing photographs and has one of the best (if not the best) turnaround in the business. We got married on November 3rd and had all of our images by the first week in December. Extremely impressive time.

2 - Extremely personable. Sunny very quickly built a relationships with our family members to make them comfortable behind the camera. One of the best parts of the PhotographicK wedding was the fact that we had an engagement session included in our package. The few hours he spent with us really helped us to understand how it feels to be in front of the camera. He very patiently walked us through how we should pose and took the most amazing pictures that definitely only accentuated us.

3 - Accomodating. My husband and I had a 6 month engagement. We booked PhotographicK right away as they are extremely popular. However, despite the popularity, Sunny made himself available to us night/day/weekend to answer any questions we had. He also was able to quickly schedule our engagement session so that we'd have portraits from different seasons.

4 - Timeliness. Sunny and his crew arrive early and setup early. The images he took tell the entire story of our wedding. He skillfully captured every detail from the shoes that I wore to the centerpieces at the reception and every one of our 275 guests in between.

PhotographicK is hands down the best photographer/videographer we could have asked for.

Working with Sunny at Photographick was one of the highlights in planning my wedding. My now-husband and I took a pretty relaxed-approach to planning our wedding. We gave our vendors a lot of freedom to flesh out their tasks themselves within a few basic guidelines. Sunny responded well to this (much better than some less-assured vendors we hired), taking charge and executing a vision that produced the most beautiful pictures. His professionalism and talent put us both a ease and made the whole process very enjoyable.

The day of the wedding, Sunny was very organized. He and the 2nd photographer were professional and just brilliant at positioning themselves to get the best photos without being intrusive. I can't express enough how gorgeous the photos are. Sunny is just an amazing photographer.

Photographick's rates are very fair. My package included an engagement session, 8 hours of wedding day photography with 2 photographers, and a DVDs of every breath-taking photo. He also created slideshows of some of our best shots and sent us DVDs of those as well.

I highly recommend Photographick. I will refer them to every bride I know. In fact, I plan to stay in touch with Sunny and engage his services in the future.

Magical. Not a doubt in my mind from the moment I met Sunny (and his fiance Neeva!) that Photographick was the right match for us. Sunny and his brother Ritesh are a talented team that really felt like friends were photographing us throughout our wedding day. Sunny is beyond solid both as a photographer and as a businessman. He takes the simplest of things and turns them into stunning photos. He captures the emotion of the day and not just the memory of it. He is passionate, organized, he responds to emails quickly, he has a creative spark that you can easily see on his website/blog. He was up front from the beginning about everything and his prices are comparable to other high quality photographers. He included engagement photos and then a slideshow at our cocktail reception. He then posted teasers of our wedding for guests to see just 3 days later. We could not have asked for anyone better. You would be fortunate to have your wedding photos taken by Photographick!

Since many of our friends who were recently married told us that we’d probably spend the most time during our wedding events with our photographers, we spent a lot of time making sure we chose photographers we felt comfortable with. We wanted photographers that were customer service oriented, that we related to (i.e. had an understanding of both American and Indian Cultures), and who provided a balance of more traditional and artistic wedding pictures. Photographick Studios fit the bill in all these ways and more!

Photographick Studios was extremely professional and easy to work with. We hired Sunny and his team to take images of our Bridal Collection. The way he posed our models and captured our clothing was perfect, well beyond anything we could have imagined. Such stunning imagery and jaw dropping photos. Second to choosing my husband, I would have to say that choosing photographick studios was the best decision I made concerning my wedding. Sunny and Neeva are sincere, talented and very hard working. They accomodated our every need and gave us memories to last a lifetime. Choose them as your photographers and you will not be sorry!

Ladies, Brides, Brides-to-be and family of bride/groom,

If I had to do it all over again (and I really don't plan on it), I would pick Photographick time and time again. All photographers capture the day and give you pictures, but there are VERY few that do it with style and their unique touch. Those who make bring your personality in how they capture your day. We have never received so many wonderful compliments from guests, friends, family, and even strangers on how well the pictures captured our day.

Sunny is professional, friendly, and real. His talent speaks for itself; just look at his pictures. I still remember the first teaser picture I saw and got butterflies; couldn't wait to see the rest and he didn't disappoint. One better than the other.

Thank you Sunny for making the day complete!

Choosing a wedding photographer was the most important aspect of our wedding planning process. After searching for a long time we came across Photographick and were simply blown away. Sunny?s professionalism was clear from the on start. He clearly, promptly and fully answered all of our questions and concerns. The required (and free!!!!) Engagement shoot was exactly what my fianc? and I needed. We were able to get to know Sunny?s photographic style and learn nice poses, tips and techniques all while getting more comfortable in front of the camera. Sunny?s photojournalistic style and posed pictures came with an artistic eye that was worth every penny. We fell in love with all our images and bought two albums and one canvas. Though our gift registry we were able to pick out an additional album and canvas at no cost to us!

We highly recommend Photographick for your wedding. Sunny?s images were breath taking and we could not be happier!

Sunny was amazing, he was a blast to work with and the pictures look amazing. My jaw dropped once i saw the images of me and my family, WE LOOKED GREAT. I love the personal touches Sunny and Neeva took all along the way. From our initial meeting in their gorgeous studio to my engagement session to our wedding, each and every pictures was so beautiful and the entire experience was incredible. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

You need to book the photobooth option, that was amazing. Sunny and his team bring silly props that make the pictures fun and creative. I cannot tell you how many of our guests raved!

I walked into Photographick studio's with a 3 ring binder filled with 8 billion details of the wedding.

Sunny (the photographer) took the time to understand what I was looking for and made sure that I got exactly what I wanted. They met with me and my husband several times to get to know us and make sure we feel comfortable with them.

The day of....they blended in just like family and friends.

We got the pictures and have been very happy with them. These are captured memories that will last a lifetime!

Photographick Studios was absolutely amazing - they were very professional, friendly, impressive and courteous from the start. They had a great and well thought out presentation to us right off the bat, which made it very easy for us to select them. Their photography style was also very unique; they came up with some great once in a lifetime pictures, and they did a wonderful job at the wedding and reception - we loved so many photos, we ended up adding 20 extra pages to our wedding album. They also provided a DVD slideshow of the best pics set to music of your choosing. Our families absolutely loved this 3 minute clip and asked for multiple DVD copies of it to show friends and family. Photographick also had a lot of options for wedding albums which I did not see with the other vendors we met with. Finally, they were very accomodating with us in trying to fit everything within our budget. I highly recommend using them as your wedding photographer - you won't regret it!

Professional, Punctual, The Best of DMV

Photographick Studios (Sunny) is someone I wanted as my vendor since I started seeing their work few years ago. He was one of the first vendors I booked because I was very confident his work would not need any explanation. Sunny lays out his background, expectations, style, and his vision from the first consultation and through his wedding details emails. There were points that I was worried due to few reviews I read online and I had talked to Sunny about this personally. Needless to say, you can not believe everything you read online as we do not know the full story of the individuals. Sunny is a very busy photographer and he gets booked quickly, however he made sure to give me reassurance through the process and always emailed/called me back with any questions or clarifications I had. I won't forget when I called him earlier in the wedding planning as I wanted to discuss the timeline with him and he had help me with suggestions on how to improve my timeline to get the most of the photoshoot as well. Sunny was very prompt the wedding weekend as he showed up with his team in my room at 4:00 am. They work really hard to get such beautiful, artistic, creative, and candid pictures. People were amazed how professional his team were and how thorough his work is. It's very important during the wedding weekend your photographers know what they are doing and are punctual and with Sunny you don't have to worry about anything. He guides the bride & groom and their are no pauses as to what potential shots to take--as him and his team are 10 steps ahead of you. Sunny even managed to have time to create same day edits for us to display at the reception that truly blew people away! He also within few days after the wedding had the same day sneak peak album ready for my husband and I to view. He also laid out a timeline for us to let us know when everything will be ready. If you are like me and have a type A personality and expect professional and punctuality--you need to go with Sunny! The pictures and work will speak for itself! Truly so happy we went with him!! Was a pleasure working with him and can't wait to see the full album. Thanks again for everything!!

We worked with Photographick for our photography and videography. Sunny and his team were the utmost professional, never getting in the way yet still able to capture amazing and artistic images from our wedding. They also made sure we made time to take family pictures and had a list for everyone so the process went smoothly and quickly.

There was never a time where I asked Sunny for something and he said no- whether it was for a slow motion video booth, or custom thank you cards, he made it all happen! I recommend Photographick to anyone getting married, you will not regret the decision.

We absolutely loved our experience with Photographick. They were always very kind and positive towards us from day one. We elected to do some non-traditional photoshoots, a winter based engagement shoot + an underwater trash the dress at a cenote in Cancun, and Photographick was all for it. Whether we asked them to bear the cold 19 degree weather at a ski resort or 90 degrees outside on the beach of Cancun (for about 4 hours), these guys were there with a smile and got some amazing shots. Considering how small our wedding was, we got way many more compliments about how great the wedding looked from the pictures posted online, and it's all thanks to these guys.

Also one last thing worth mentioning is their punctuality. We were very big with being on time because we had a traditional Hindu destination wedding, and communication was very difficult. Nobody had cell phones, and anybody that has thrown a wedding before can tell how important it is to have your phone on you that day, and still Photographick was everywhere they needed to be on time the entire weekend. That speaks volumes to their dedication and professionalism. It is very fair to say that the success of executing a logistical nightmare, like a destination wedding, would not be possible without them. We couldn't thank them enough, and now we have some new friends because of it.

We spent 5K for unlimited package which included an engagement session, a full day of wedding photos [7 am to midnight] and photobooth [very worth it].

Sunny and team are extremely good at what they do; they made my wife and I very relaxed during the photoshoots and are very sensitive to your understandable anxieties.

My wife and I are south Indian and Sunny captured all the little moments and ceremonies our families hold in high importance.

They may or may not be pricey depending on your budget [they were definitely on our high end] but we'll love the pictures and I would not hesitate to use them again.

Beautiful pictures, creative poses and good responsiveness throughout the wedding planning and day of. The images were completed within 2 months and released to us. There were some pictures that were not taken (i.e. guests at the reception and cocktail hour) which I believe the photographer should have made more of an effort to capture. With that said, I also could have been more clear beforehand that this was important to us.

I am writing this review late because I tried to give Sunny time to give me more wedding photos. We used Sunny last year for our Indian wedding for 2 days. The videos turned out excellent, but my husband have I only have 1 photo from the whole weekend where we are both posed and facing the camera. Everything else is dark and shadowy and "artsy". There were specific poses that I asked for with my family and with my husband and we didn't even come close to getting them. I barely have pictures in all of my outfits let alone with my husband. I struggled to find more than 2 pictures to frame. Also it takes FOREVER to get the videos--6 months!! And close to 3 months for pictures. . I didn't even feel like making an album because there are so few pictures of my husband and I where you can actually see both of our faces. I know Indian weddings are hectic, but I expected more considering this is an Indian wedding photography team. I expected more for the price. The highlight reel turned out great but I can't frame that and put it anywhere. I begged Sunny to look through raw footage to find more pics and he ignored me. If you are looking for artsy pics and very view posed pics where you can actually see your face, then definitely go with this photographer. If you want individual attention and to not be one of the hundreds of weddings they shoot to boost their portfolio, then I would look elsewhere.

Disappointing in the end

Our experience with Photographick during the wedding weekend was great. They sent out a large team of photographers and videographers, were punctual, and were nice and easy to work with.

HOWEVER.....once we got our pictures and videos back, we were thoroughly disappointed.

We literally have ONE frame-worthy picture together, which was from our reception pictures. We have NO solo pictures from the Sangeet night. How does a team of photographers not get pictures of the bride and groom together throughout the night, when there were opportunities to do so?! On the wedding day we made time for first-look pictures, but all of the posed pictures (with both of us looking into the camera) either had one person squinting into the sun, one person not looking/smiling, or an awkward pose. The attention to detail was lacking. There was no provision to get us to a location where the pictures would come out better instead of us staring into the sun; the location was not original, either...one they've photographed multiple times. We don't have a single frame-worthy posed picture of us in our wedding attire. Even solo pictures of us in our wedding attire are lacking...those that we do have are not unique...you will see pictures done in the exact same way as pictures they've taken for other clients, and many at unflattering angles. The only decent pictures were 80% focused on the landscape and 20% on us, so those weren't frame-worthy either. During editing of the pics, they put an extremely bright filter on me that completely changed my makeup look (made me look like I was wearing red lipstick when I purposely wore a nude/light pink color!). Luckily I caught this before they finished editing and they corrected it. The 'artistic' pictures weren't creative or original; I've seen much better ones they've done for other clients. Then there's the issue of the videos. We were so excited to see the highlight reel, but very disappointed in the color quality. The drone took amazing shots and captured colors vividly. The same could not be said with their regular video camera. All the colors were dull and muted...no one's outfit was true to the actual color. Even my mom picked up on this.

When I approached Photographick to look through the archive for any additional solo pics that they may have taken of me and my husband, other pics that my friends & family had gotten taken, and even décor pictures of cocktail hour, etc. that I didn't get to see in person, what I got back were cropped images from other pictures, pictures different from what I asked, or no additional pictures at all. The response I received (1 month later, and only because I called to follow up) was unapologetic, and that unless they are told specifically what pictures to take, they take pictures from a 'journalistic' perspective. I reached out a second time for additional 'missing' pictures, but did not receive a response. A lot of posed impromptu pictures with friends were taken angled from the bottom...not flattering at all. Regarding the response on the videos, at first we were told to download and view the video on a computer. No change. Then, we were sent a new video with the colors 'corrected'...but, all they did was mute the drone colors to try and match the dull colors of the regular video footage. Disappointing.

To give credit to what we were satisfied with: the music selection in the highlight reel, and the posed family pictures in all 3 events.

At the end of the day, the final product is what matters. Having posed pictures of me and my husband that we can hang in our home was important, but unmet. My wedding planner, stylist, and clothing designer wanted to feature our wedding on social media and magazines...but after receiving the pictures (and lack thereof), I didn't have enough good posed ones to submit. My husband and I both said that our friends, family, and other vendors took better pictures on their phones than the professional ones we got. Looking through other clients' comments on this site, I had the same experience as Kalyani's post from 2017, but was swayed by the majority of positive reviews I read. Overall, would not recommend if your expectations are like mine.

BEWARE! cancelled at short notice!!

I booked Sunny and his team for my August 2019 wedding in November of 2018. In May, ONE week before my scheduled engagement shoot with him, I received an email from Sunny that he can no longer shoot my wedding. No compensation was offered for the travel expenses and beauty services that were already booked and could not be refunded since he cancelled one week out.
Sunny shot my sister's wedding two years ago, so I felt comfortable and trusted him when I signed the contract and put down my deposit ten months before my wedding. BIG MISTAKE! Only three months before my wedding (and one week before my engagement shoot) I was stuck looking for a photography/cinematography team. Many other photography teams who are booked have been very kind and helpful and made recommendations, but Sunny has not responded to a single email or phone call since cancelling on me (it has now been one full week). Beware that this company is very unresponsive and difficult to reach, and keep in mind the best photographer is the one that actually shows up! This kind of unprofessionalism is totally unacceptable, especially at this price point. I highly recommend looking elsewhere!
