Amazing photographer that goes the extra mile!

Loved working with Jim. He was communicative leading up to the big day, timely, and simply a great time. He made me and my wedding party feel so comfortable and you can feel the good vibes through the photos. I didn’t have a shot list at all and he did a great job getting a variety of poses. He was efficient and professional, would definitely recommend to anyone needing a wedding photographer.

Fantastic photographer

Jim was an exceptional photographer. We had a need for 2 weddings in different locations, so we had the opportunity to compare 2 different photographers, which made me appreciate Jim infinitely more.
He was experienced - he knew what he was doing at every step of the process. He was responsive, accommodating, flexible. He was confident and direct enough to get all of the shots we wanted (even though we forgot to make a list), many we didn't know we wanted (I swore I would hate the photos of me putting my shoes on, and now they're some of my favorites), and was easy and chill to work with. The photos are exceptional and came in a timely manner. I have zero complaints and would recommend him to anyone.

From their professional manner to their help on the wedding day, we can’t say more about how much they helped us! After we had such amazing pictures on the engagement session, we were concerned that our wedding day couldn’t possibly come close… There was no need to be worried because the wedding pictures came out AMAZING! They captured our memories and feelings in just the way we wanted to remember them. The photo albums and fusion video turned out better than we could have imagined and we are so happy that they memorialized our day into a work of art!

Jim & Jamie delivered everything we wanted and more! The Fusion video came out perfect and our wedding album was better than we could have imagined so we ordered 3! They were extremely knowledgeable about how best to take the pictures and because of that we started well in advance of the ceremony and we are glad we did it because there would not have been enough time to take all the pictures we wanted after the ceremony. They have a unique and fresh vision for their photography and I would highly recommend them!

We LOVED working with Jim and Jaime! They were so flexible and really wanted to capture moments that we wanted. They get to know the couples they work with and really want us to enjoy everything about the wedding process. The day of my wedding Jaime was so helpful with helping myself and all the ladies in my bridal party when we had some hiccups. And everybody had a great time taking pictures, they really make it a fun experience! And throughout they would check in and make sure if we wanted any specific photos. I would definitely recommend for your wedding! They are just such great people and their photos are amazing. Can not recommend enough!

Jim and Jamie are the best at what they do. My husband and I have used many other photographers for different occasasions and were never pleased but for our wedding we wanted the best. And we got it. They are dedicated professionals. Not only do they do their job well but you can share a few laughs with them too. I'm really happy with our wedding pictures. They're absolutely gorgeous and stunning! I would recommend them to all my family and friends!

Jim and Jamie were so fun to work with! It was clear from the start that they really care about their work and both of them took the extra steps to make sure that our engagement and wedding photos turned out perfect. The day of my wedding rained so I was worried about how many nice outdoor photos we would get, but Jim and Jamie got right to work scouting different locations around the venue, and we captured the most beautiful photos! They have an eye for creativity, classic beauty, and perfection. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Jim and Jamie captured both my daughters senior pictures, one in 2012 and the most recent in 2014. They were a pleasure to work with and I was thrilled at the end results. Their pictures are truly pieces of artwork. If I could give higher then a 5 on flexibility I would... we had to re-schedule due to weather and they worked with us to get the right timing on lighting to capture the perfect moment. Looking forward to working with them again for some family shots and future milestones. They are the best of the best!

When looking back at my photographs and videography I am so thankful that Jim and Jamie were able to be there to capture the special moments of our wedding day. Jim and Jamie make a wonderful team. Their compassion and eye for photography take the small memories and create them into stories. My husband and I both come from large families and Jim and Jamie handled everyone with ease while still smiling. Their work is breath-taking and refreshing! Jim and Jamie were excellent to work with for our wedding photos. Not only did they fly/drive to Northern Michigan from Florida for the weekend, but they came early and researched multiple locations for various weather conditions (it ended up snowing the day before our wedding) so we were prepared for any situation. They have a true passion for their profession and it showed throughout the day - they were well organized, excited, and all-around fun to work with. I was very impressed with their work, both on the day of our wedding as well as the final product. Our initial package included a hard cover album and a slideshow with music and video of the wedding/reception. The slideshow and album were so well put together (with no direction from us) that we purchased a digital copy of all photos. Overall, Jim and Jamie were a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them to anyone interested in the services they offer.

They are such a great couple to work with! We are currently working with Jamie and Jim making our save the dates and invitations based of the amazing engagement photos they did for us. For our engagement photos, my fiance and I wanted to incorporate our 4 dogs, most people would think we're crazy but they were more than willing to try what we really wanted. I would definitely suggest them for anyone looking for a flexible, creative and personal photographer :)

When my husband and I got engaged we went to a local bridal show where we met the amazing team of Photographic Images by Jim. There were many photographers to choose from, though after going home and looking at the websites, we decided to meet with Jim and Jamie. Immediately we knew he was a perfect fit and that was further confirmed by our engagement shoot and all of the fun we had with him. He is not only talented but warm, friendly, fun, passionate and professional. He made us feel so comfortable. The pictures from the wedding day are absolutely beautiful! There was not a moment missed! It was like having an old friend of the family shoot us all day rather than a stranger. Our proofs are amazing I can’t wait to get our album put together.

I have always had an interest in photography and art in general. So, when it came to hiring a photographer for my wedding, I was certainly excited.
Honestly, i was a little taken back in my initial reaction of the pricing. However, this was my reaction to almost every expense of the wedding. Weddings just aren't cheap. Although, I must say, I was like a kid in a candy store when deciding what services I wanted them to perform. Basically, my eyes were bigger than my budget. Once I realized this, I knew that I needed to make some cuts. Jim and Jamie were extremely understanding/flexible and were more than willing to coach me through what I really wanted vs my budget. Also, meeting in the studio, they gave us a presentation of similar events and styles of shots/videography. What I saw wasn't just images, they captured emotion and character.
From my point of view, Jim and Jamie don't just snap photos. I believe they look at the world through different eyes. They have a way of reading people. They pick up on things about you that you may not even know you told them. Be it through body language, responses, or even general idiosyncracies. They actually capture YOU in their images.
They were very attentive to our needs and expectations, and also very informative about their role. Understanding how important every moment matters, with position timing and the general flow of the event. In the months prior to the wedding they always kept up-to-date on all of the details... no matter how many times they changed.
I suppose that I have already said, in one way or another, how happy I am with my decision. I should mention that their Fusion Videos were very intriguing. The one they had put together for me and my wife still brings a tear to my eye. It's a perfect way to re-live the day. Certainly my recommendation to all of my friends, "Photographic Images by Jim" will be my photographer for whatever life throws my way.

Jim and Jamie photographed my sister’s wedding in June of this year. I cannot say enough on how detail oriented they were. Their shared enthusiasm for our joyous event made the experience that more enjoyable. The poses and scenery that they created and captured made for a awe-inspiring lifetime of memories for our family and sister to enjoy. I think your team is fabulous! I saw my friends Shari and Tom's (Aiello) wedding album and I never saw anything as creative as this one. You captured every single moment possible and moments I never would even dream of. Every single photo was better than the next. From the bride and her family getting up in the morning to the very end of the wedding. Just phenomenal. Perfect

Jim and Jaime did a fantastic job helping us with our daughters 1 yr old photo shoot. They worked with us and her schedule to make sure it was the best time for her. They had multiple sets/props ready so we could capture the moment as quickly as possible since she typically would get tired and/or fussy. Jim took multiple photos and was able to capture so many great angelic photos. We couldn't have been happier, and are looking forward to bringing baby #2 in for his photos.

Jim and Jamie literally whisked our daughter away and had a blast with her for her photo shoot. They soon provided us with a unique portfolio of pictures to choose from for her Senior portraits. A good wedding photographer makes all the difference. Don't assume that a friend of family member will get you the results you want. My wife's friends are all jealous of our wedding album and I've got great memories captured forever in picture form. I don't hesitate to recommend Jim and Jaime to anyone.

I had photos by Jim do my senior portrait and I have to say I never looked better. I highly recommend Jim and Jamie for senior pictures. They were fast fun and felt very comfortable around them considering I have never met them before. I'm defiantly going to see that at my wedding in the near future.

Jim and Jamie have been our church photographer for over four years. Imagine coordinating and capturing more than 1000 children making their First Communion and Confirmation over the years. These are once-in-a-lifetime sacred celebrations that you cannot trust to just anyone! Thanks to Jim and Jamie the photos and videos keep coming back PRECIOUS. Added to the perfect photos/videos they are friendly, professional, fair, and have never let me down. They take care of everything so I can concentrate on the other details of the celebration. In fact, they rescued me when the previous photographer I hired cancelled the day before Confirmation! Imagine that! Thanks for coming to my rescue with a single phone call! They asked my husband and I, our opinions of what type of pictures we were looking for, and honestly they give us their ideas and our pictures were great. My family has been using Photographic Images by Jim for 6 years now. We needed professional head shots taken so we could post them on the web site for our new business, and we needed them done very quickly. I called Jim, set an appointment and had the pictures taken and the DVD in our hands within a couple of days. I had the privilege to get my Senior pictures done by Jim and Jamie. I was very excited to get them done but at the same time nervous, as to me feeling comfortable and making sure the pictures would come out the way i wanted. Shooting with them was great, because not only did they make me feel very comfortable and were really friendly, but, they also asked for my opinion and ideas about the pictures and how i would like them to be. Jim and Jamie were really open to my photo ideas, and of course had some wonderful ideas them selves. I had such a blast shooting with them. Also it didn't take long, at all to receive my disc of pictures. I was so pleased with the outcome of the photography and the edits, i wanted to do another shoot right away! :) They are very sweet people and their photography is outstanding! Jim and Jamie took my son's senior pictures. They did an incredible job! Not only did they take their time with him, but they really made the effort to get to know him and what his interests were. As a result of that, the pictures are very natural and totally capture the essence of my son. They also did a stop motion video of the day that is awesome! Jim and Jamie spent a very hot summer day in Brooklyn, New York taking our engagement pictures, travelling all the way from Naples, Florida. We were so impressed, even our New York friends have inquired about our photographers!

One of my biggest concerns for our wedding was capturing the moment. We came across Jim and Jamie searching on the web. As Mother of the Bride, I looked forward to the wedding as much as (maybe more) than my daughter. I also had many responsibilities at the last minute that caused much of the final days and the wedding itself to be a bit of a blur. It was wonderful but it seemed to pass by so quickly that I didn't feel I had the chance to see and enjoy every little thing. The days following were much more relaxing but a bit of a let down. Seeing pictures on Facebook helped me recall special moments but they weren't good quality. And then . . . the link to the professional photos came and I can honestly say that we were completely delighted. If it hadn't been for those, I couldn't possibly remember what a wonderful occasion it was. The pictures seemed ever more lovely than the actual wedding - with amazing colors and shots that I didn't even know were taken. So, I have decided that photographer was the most important vendor we hired, by far, and we could not have selected anyone better than Jim and Jamie Hardesty. They were always kind, caring, sensitive, clear with directions and requests, on time or even early, and always so very easy to work with. They were very flexible in making changes to parts of our plan and are still working with us to do some final shoots based on some special needs of the bride. I remember needed a high res engagement photo sent electronically a few days before the bridal shower and they worked hard to get it to me the very night I requested it. They were the best and we will absolutely select them for future events without question or hesitation. in fact, we have already done so!

I just finished reviewing my wedding photos & couldn't be more excited!! They did an amazing job capturing things I didn't even get a chance to see on our wedding day. I have a large family & they were incredibly patient and kind. They led us to take great photos but also allowed me to give input & gave us flexibility.

They also took engagement photos for us which were absolutely gorgeous. They are extremely professional yet you feel like you are working with family. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an event photographer.

Jamie and Jim Hardesty are the perfect photo team. We've been a fan of their work for years. Our wedding happened to be in upstate New York and to this day I am still so grateful for the two of them flying up north to share their talent for our little backyard party. Hands down, having Jim & Jamie as a part of our wedding was the easiest decision of the whole planning process. Their experience and creativity as photographers helped to make the whole day feel so comfortable and "stress-less" (is that a word?). In addition to their amazing photo skills, do not underestimate their little day-in-the-life films. This really is their secret weapon. Almost as if by magic, they were able to create a "stop-motion" short film of our whole day. We had no idea how much we would come to cherish this little film. Not only is it the perfect way for us to re-live our wedding……It is the best way for us to share our big day with all our friends and family that were unable to attend. The truth is, our wedding would not have been the same without them.

When I was a little girl I would love looking through my parents wedding pictures and as I grew up and got engaged I had high expectations for my photos. Jim and Jamie were the perfect photographers for my family and me. From the moment we met they couple they were welcoming, knowledgeable, and inspiring. Their quality of photographs are beyond what we had expected and the wide variety of services they offer for you leading up to the wedding day and on the wedding day are superb. I realized after talking with many photographers that I needed to feel 100% comfortable and confident with them as they would be staring at me through a camera all day on my wedding day. With Jim and Jamie I felt instantly comfortable which allowed them to capture the beautiful images for my engagement shoot and wedding day. They worked with my schedule to accommodate my needs, and were always willing to answer my questions. What sets Jim apart from other photographers, besides his welcoming personality, is his constant desire to try something new and creative. He asked me if there were any certain photo shots that I wanted and worked those in, but also had come up with multiple creative ideas unique to my husband and I’s event. The relationship with both of them helped take off the pressure and potential awkwardness. Their stop motion video captured our wedding day in an unique way, and the fusion video was beautiful and brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it! There are so many wonderful things I can say about Photographic Images by Jim! Jim and Jamie did our engagement photos and they turned out amazing! When looking for a photographer for our wedding, my then fiance and I were completely lost. We found Jim and Jamie at a wedding show and struck GOLD. From the beginning they were both very attentive to our wants and needs. When we went to meet with them for our engagement session they spoke to us about their Stop Motion Videos. After seeing one I feel in love. I knew I would maybe watch my wedding video once, maybe twice in my lifetime so I thought heck lets do this instead. Not only is this video creative but it captured my entire wedding in 4 minutes through thousands of still pictures. I can tell you that I have watched the Stop Motion Video over 50+ times and it never gets old. I could not be happier that I found them by chance. I highly recommend anyone getting married in the future to look into them.

Photographic Images by Jim did a spectacular job with our wedding photos. They were always very easy to get a hold of, worked well with our other vendors, and did a spectactular job of highlighting the important parts of our day with beautiful pictures I have to look back on forever. They were very willing to incorporate any of my crazy ideas, including being able to take a beautiful group picture of all 174 people in attendance at the wedding. If I had to have a complaint it is that I now have 1,400 pictures that are all great and have no idea which ones to hang up in our house!

Jim and Jamie are an exceptional team! They take the most beautiful pictures and are with you every step of the way, from engagement to wedding, and beyond. I feel like I have a perfect storybook of our wedding. They also offer stop-motion videos, one of the most unique services in the area. I will continue to book them every time I need a professional photographer!

Jim and Jamie were AMAZING and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Not only were they extremely professional, but fun, creative and very unique...Everyone just raved over our pictures. They captured every detail from our engagement to our wedding and we can't thank them enough!!!

Photographic Images by Jim was everything we could've asked for in a photographer. Our engagement session was casual and inventive. Jamie and Jim with Photographic Images by Jim were just what a bride- to- be was looking for! Creative, fun, professional, unique, and passionate! They made the process so easy and gave great ideas to help guide me in my decisions. They listened closely to what I wanted, and it showed in the pictures. I trusted them and their creativity, and still get compliments on my pictures and wedding album today- 3 years later! The work they do is both timeless and fresh. I can not even begin to put into words how amazing this photographer is. They were able to understand our wedding and personality styles and have that reflected in all of our pictures. There were extreamly professional and yet you felt very comfortable and relax around them during photo shoots. They went out of their way to ensure that we were happy and it exceeded our expectations. The design work that they can do on pictures and albums is unmatched. They were worth ever dollar spent!

Jamie and Jim are extremely passionate about their work. We had engagement photos and wedding day photos taken, both photo settings turned out fantastic. Jamie and Jim made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. They were true professionals from the very first meeting, to the wedding day, to picking up our wedding album. I attended a wedding of a lifelong friend at 3 west Club in NYC. The reception was beautiful, the photographer made a lifetime of memories for the bride & groom. He also made the guests, each and everyone of us feel important. He took pictures all through the night & was very attentive to the bride, groom & guests. I viewed all the prrofs.No one was left out...whether you danced or just sat at your table you were photographed! They are one more creative & beautiful than the other. He took so many candid shots & captured so many smiles! If I was getting married again Jim would be my photographer of choice. I can't wait to order some pictures of me & my friends. Now this nite we all looked so forward to will last forever....Thanks Jim

Jim and Jamie are clearly talented photographers. They provided our engagement shoot, our wedding ceremony and wedding reception, and we ordered many products. Unfortunately, we were left disappointed with some aspects of the experience.

Originally, we had wanted to have a receiving line but Jim insisted that this would not work for the schedule. We had to forego a receiving line, however, our 113 guests followed us anyways which ended up being embarrassing, as we nor our parents were prepared to greet. I should have stuck to my guns and just insisted that we have a receiving line, it was after all, my wedding.

Upon reviewing our photos online a few weeks after the wedding, we were horrified to see how sloppily everyone had been posed for the formal shots. We wish that Jim and Jamie had taken more care to help our families and bridal parties with their poses in the formal shots. The worst part of the experience was that there were very little candid shots of the left side of the room during our reception. The entire left side of the room was ignored but everyone on the right side of the room appeared in 2-3 candids each. My family was extremely insulted at this, as they had sat on the left side of the room. We spent days fielding emails and phone calls from my family about this because it was so painfully obvious that two photographers managed to miss an entire side of the room. It is nearly 7 months later and my family members are still bringing up the fact that there are so many more photos of my husband's family and friends.

We are pleased with the products provided but overall were left feeling disappointed in what we received for the amount we paid.
