Hire Liesl!! You won't regret it :)

I cannot say enough amazing things about Liesl!!! My husband and I got married on 4/22/2023 in Housing Works Bookstore in NYC, and the entire planning process with Liesl was easy. She is so professional and timely in all of her responses, and laying out the day's schedule with her went so smoothly. The actual day itself with her was a DREAM. My now husband and I are not big on photos/being the center of attention, but the photoshoot with her and our friends in the city before the ceremony was so much fun that it was one of our top moments of the day. We just received our highlights and are THRILLED-they are stunning and beyond what we had hoped for. They are artistic and beautiful but still very much us. I cannot recommend Liesl and her team highly enough to anyone looking for a photographer who will make them feel comfortable and give them the best results!

Documentary Editorial Wedding

Liesl is an absolute DELIGHT to work with - first and foremost. I have a bad case of “nervous of how pictures of me are going to look like” and I dreaded photos for the big day without being able to see any. I knew I trusted Liesl and knew her work was incredible but it was really hard for me to feel confident. Every step of the way she let me and the groom know we are looking great (without being patronizing) and helped us pose properly so our photos would come out looking amazing. She scoped out so many parts of brooklyn to capture both edgy and beautiful shots of us and helped us look romantic because we are just two goof balls in a dress and a suit. I really wanted romantic beautiful shots too and by god did she NAIL IT!! I got preview shots in maybe 4 days after the wedding (I think she knew how freaked I was) and I literally GASPED when I saw some of these unedited photos… needless to say I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE THE REST!!!! If you want different photos that capture your wedding love story in a uniquely documentarian editorial way, hire Photo Pink NOW. My husband and I look like we should be on the cover of a magazine and it isn’t just because we are sOoOO beautiful ;) THANK YOU LIESL AND PHOTO PINK

PhotoPink made the photo shoot for our reception feel like a Vanity Fair layout. Our photographer, Liesl, was fun, flexible, and has tremendous artistic vision - you should trust her instinct - you won't be disappointed. Before the reception we had photos taken with family and friends and during the reception she and her assistant took candids. All turned out amazingly well - we couldn't be happier with the service she provided. A true artist.

We can't say enough good things about Liesl, Randy and the rest of the team at Photo Pink. They were completely professional, kind and courteous in every single interaction we had from them - and the quality of their work is absolutely amazing. We've been married for 16 months and we still talk about how Photo Pink was our favorite vendor out of everyone we contracted with. I literally cannot find any downside to our experience with them. I'm still trying to select our pictures for our album because there are too many amazing shots to select from - mind you, we received all of our pictures exactly 100 days from the date of our wedding. We've referred numerous friends of ours to them - most of whom have actually used them - and will continue to do so as long as people continue to ask us who took our beautiful wedding pictures! We found Photo Pink through one of our dearest friends who were married last year. We loved the artistic documentary style Photo Pink uses. They take such an innovative approach to wedding photography that truly captures all the precious moments. We had two lead photographers - Liesl and Randy. These guys are so professional and so great to work with!! We received our sneak peek (more than couple dozen photos) a couple of weeks after our wedding. Photo Pink, and Liesl in particular, are incredible! They are an amazingly talented group of photographers with an editorial, edgy approach to wedding photography. We wanted our wedding photos to be just that, and Liesl (who was our lead photographer) really delivered. We love our wedding photos and all of our friends and family are in awe of them too. Our photographers, Monica and Randy, did such a wonderful job on our wedding last month. They were fun and creative and made everyone feel comfortable. It was such a crazy, hectic day, and they were so flexible even when we were off schedule. Monica also did our engagement shoot, and as someone who does not like getting her picture taken, I had so much fun!

So far we have gotten some sneak peek pictures, and they are absolutely stunning! Everyone is in love with them. It was such a pleasure working with Photo Pink. They really helped to make it such a special day! My husband and I are really excited to see the rest of the photos :)

If we ever need professional photos again, we are coming back to Monica and Photo Pink!!

My husband and I were thrilled with Jenny and Monica at Photopink!!

We had researched a few photographers but after our initial meeting with Jenny and Liesl we knew we wanted to book them. Jenny was so kind and fantastic to work with. During our engagement photo shoot Jenny really made us feel at ease and was willing to travel all around Jersey City with us to take the pictures we wanted.

Coming up to the wedding date I was really nervous about finding a location to take picture with the bridal party – I wanted some scenic pictures outside but because of the cold winter nothing was in bloom. We contacted Jenny to get some of her suggestions and she went up to the town our venue was located to scout out a location spot and found the most fantastic park with a huge dogwood tree in bloom. She really went above and beyond and saved the day.

The day of the wedding Jenny worked with Monica who was also fantastic. They both has such unique visions and were so easy to work with. We loved having both of them as part of our day!

We LOVE you Monica of Photo Pink! Photo Pink did an amazing job with our engagement shoot and wedding photos. Monica was very flexible for our engagement shoot, as my husband and I were running close to an hour and a half late. She took her time and did not rush us. The photos turned out beautiful, exhibiting the diversity and variety of color of our location shoot (Coney Island).

The day of the wedding was hectic for everyone; however, Monica and her crew were able to gracefully weave in and out and capture great shots.

Not only is Monica of Photo Pink a talented photographer, but she's an awesome person. i enjoyed working with her.

Liesl is simply amazing! She is sweet and made us feel comfortable having many, many pictures taken of us. Her photography is creative and interesting - our friends and family rave about all of our photos, both our engagement and wedding pictures. We love her modern style and feel that she captured us perfectly. We had to wait a few months to receive the edited pictures, but it was well worth the wait! Also, Photo Pink gave us dual copyright of the photos. We received a USB flash drive with all of our high and low resolution photos and can make books and prints as we like.

The contracting process was simple. We were a destination wedding - in Puerto Rico - and Liesl was willing to go without a significant fee increase. We had special requests for timing and she was able to accommodate them. We had a frustrating experience with a photo booth vendor in San Juan and she offered to have another photographer from Photo Pink, Monica, act as second photographer and photo booth operator. We supplied the props and they took the pictures. It was a great solution - one that relieved a great deal of stress!

We highly, highly recommend both Liesl and Monica!!

We cannot thank Photo Pink and our photographer Jenny Calivas enough for creating memories for us that will last us a lifetime. These innovative, talented, creatively fresh artists will capture images for your wedding day that you will remember, cherish and covet. We had an absolute blast from the very first meeting where Jenny put us right at ease and just "got us." Our engagement shoot blew our minds at how gorgeous every shot was, so much so that we couldn't decide which were our favorites! Our last meeting before the big day was also a real pleasure and felt less like meeting a wedding vendor and more like catching up with an old friend. We felt as though Jenny really had a vested interest in our wedding and took such pride in her work. We were excited because she was excited. The day-of was perfect with Randy and our second photographer and the team worked so seamlessly together, were unassuming, unobtrusive yet seemed to capture every single detail....and I'm sure even things we missed on the day!
We cannot thank Photo Pink enough for making us feel so special an for taking the time to spend our day with us. Jenny and Emily of Photopink (http://photopinknyc.com/) were just fantastic.

Jenny worked with my wife and I well in advance of the big day - even as we made scheduling an engagement shoot difficult (we live in the Bay Area and were married in Brooklyn). She was flexible, understanding, and professional. When we finally did pin down our engagement shoot - the week of the wedding, we had a great afternoon walking around Dumbo with Jenny. She was calm (and calming for us) and super easy to talk to and hang with. For us, being in front of the camera the same week as the wedding ended up being super helpful, meaning that it's something that becomes more comfortable over the engagement shoot afternoon and that bleeds into your wedding day.

As for the big day itself, Jenny and Emily teamed up wonderfully. Again, their both being so calm, yet professional really makes a difference throughout the day - and the import of it extends well beyond you and your bride/groom - it's helpful for family and friends, too.

What else? They stayed later than asked and worked tirelessly to get shots throughout the day / evening while never being pushy.

Now, as for the photography itself. You can observe that quality yourself. Just have a look at the Photo Pink site and you'll get what I'm getting at.

Looking back, my wife and I wouldn't have wanted to work with anyone else.

My wife and I were so lucky to have worked with Randy and the Photo Pink team for our engagement shoot and wedding day photographs. They were so professional, kind and calm from the start. We first met Randy during our engagement shoot, when we walked around Chelsea and took photographs on various streets and in our apartment -- he was incredibly accommodating of our requests, and the photographs (which we received very quickly thereafter) were amazing! We even submitted one for the NY Times, which made the Digital edition. On the main event, wedding day, Randy and Monica were incredible. We were able to capture our "First Look" on the High Line which was an experience we will never forget. Then we moved to the venue and took family photos, and Randy and Monica were present (but never a distraction) during the ceremony and party. We received about 15 photos when we got back from our honeymoon, and we were so happy with how the early shots came out. We can't wait for the rest. We can't recommend Photo Pink highly enough, and feel so fortunate that they were with us on our wedding day!

I lucked out in finding Photo Pink - a friend of mine had gone to a wedding expo and brought back their pamphlet for me because she knew I was searching for a wedding photographer and couldn't find the right one. Photographers are sooooo expensive for weddings, and I hadn't found any that I thought were worth the money. But, one look at Photo Pink's website, and I knew they were 100% worth it. I then showed my friend their website (she's getting married a month after me), and she & her fiance both had the same reaction, so booked Photo Pink for their wedding too. During the wedding, Jenny (our main photographer, Konrad was the 2nd one) went around the venue scouting out interesting places to take shots. And, thankfully she was a very efficient photographer, because my husband is like an anxious child when it comes to getting pictures taken - he wants it over in 2 minutes! She even looked up stills from a film that was the inspiration for my wedding and took shots of me in those same poses, so she went above and beyond to make for great wedding photos that aren't your typical wedding photos. She also reminded me of certain shots I wanted to re-create from photos of my great grandparents, which was helpful, because in the craziness of the wedding I would have forgotten, and then been disappointed! Also, one of my bridesmaids who's getting married in June is going to try to use Photo Pink as well I think, because she was so impressed by Jenny & Konrad on the day of our wedding! I can't wait to see the edited photos (because they give you all of your photos fully edited too)!

One of our favorite vendors! My husband and I couldn't have been happier with the services provided by Photo Pink. We booked Randy as our photographer after seeing his amazing work. A second photographer was included in our package and he brought along Monica on the day-of. The two of them were absolutely phenomenal! They arrived to my house early and ensured that the day was thoroughly documented. Their professionalism and passion for photography was evident to all who encountered them. They made sure that we had enough photos to choose from by shooting us and our bridal party in various locations. They were totally unobtrusive during the ceremony and reception. People are constantly complimenting our photos and (more importantly) we are in love with them. The photos were returned to us (adorably packaged) on two discs and through Pictage in a timely manner. We are currently working with them on our wedding album and are so excited to see the result! I would recommend to my friends and family (ANDI have- my sister will be using them for her wedding in June). Thank you, thank you, thank you Randy and Monica! We love you guys!

I cannot say enough great things about Liesl and Photo Pink. It started when my husband and I were visiting NYC from Arizona and decided to have our engagement photos taken in our favorite city. After a ton of research, we found Photo Pink. Our engagement session was so comfortable and fun and Liesl was so down to earth and awesome, we decided to see if she could come out to Arizona for our wedding. And she did!!! Before the day, Megan was my main source of contact and always responded to my emails right away, was always happy and nice and just as great as I could have hoped for. On the wedding day, Liesl showed up early with a smile on her face, was there for every moment, took every opportunity to find a great "shot" and then stayed late-- still with a smile. I cannot wait to see the images. I am a slight control freak, but I completely trust and believe that Liesl did an amazing job. I highly recommend her and Photo Pink to every bride out there-- they are worth every single penny. Actually I think they create something pretty priceless :)

Photo Pink was just fabulous all around, and I highly recommend them! These guys came highly recommended from not one, but TWO, friends and I was not disappointed. I used their package deal that included engagement photos, 2 shooters for 8 hours, and photo booth. Their prices are on par with competitors; I almost went with someone who had below-average prices, but I'm SO glad I didn't since these guys were the BEST. Specifically, we worked with Konrad, Emily and Danielle. Initially, I was only meh on the idea of engagement shoot--which was included, not extra in our package--but Konrad got me totally on board by telling me that it was his time to get to know us and learn how we react to being photographed, so that he could ensure the best possible photos on the big day. Konrad put us both at ease and definitely made us feel a lot more photogenic than we would have otherwise! On the day itself, Konrad had a second shooter with him, Emily, and she was fantastic too. We felt really at ease and they both hit the right balance of documenting the event without being intrusive; at the end of the night, they both gave us big hugs and congratulations. Danielle ran the photo booth with grace and humor, and got tons of great photos out of my friends and family (many of whom are total hams and divas). Finally, their management office is great too--responsive, friendly and top notch service overall. Definitely don't hesitate to go with these guys!

Jenny (and Randy) at Photo Pink were the ideal photographers! I could not have been more happy with not only the way all the pictures turned out, but also the ease and comfort that they brought to my wedding day. In the past I have been in weddings where the photographer was either very overbearing and bossy or non-existent - two extremes which I didn't want. Because of Jenny's photo journalisitc style, and her and Randy's kind and low key demeanors, my husband and I felt like we had friends tagging along with us our entire wedding - in the most non-intrusive way. It was such a pleasant experience having them with us and capturing all the special moments (both big and small). They literally caught everything and made it look even more beautiful than I remembered! They took all the pictures we wanted, as well as ones that we would have never thought of. They were great at setting up pictures using the surroundings we were in without posing us. This made for some fabulous pictures of us, our family and friends - ones which I now have framed. They are truly gifted and I would highly recommend them to anyone!!

We can't say enough good things about Photo Pink. Not only were they a joy to work with but they also delivered an incredible, top-notch product! Our photos are stunning and perfectly capture the mood of our wedding.

What first appealed to us about Photo Pink was their style. Their photos are artsy without being overdone. Formal without being stuffy. Playful without being precious. And they certainly delivered.

Liesl and Randy were our photographers. They were fun, friendly and professional. Everyone at the event commented on how warm and engaging they were. They were early to both events, one of which was a 5-hour drive from New York. (We recommend two photographers as you get different perspectives!)

In addition to Liesl and Randy being great to work with, the entire PhotoPink team was extremely helpful. Megan responded to our questions right away, and the e-contract system was incredibly clear and user-friendly. The questionnaires they used to prepare were thorough and ensured that Liesl and Randy got all of the shots we requested and also managed any potential family tensions with ease.

One thing to note is that it takes about six to eight weeks to get the photos, but Photo Pink was very flexible in emailing us a handful of photos relatively soon after the event so that we could print them as thank you gifts. And the photos were certainly worth the wait!

We had incredible vendors, but Photo Pink was by far the best investment we could make. We recommend them without any reservations!!

Working with Liesl and Randy was awesome. They’re both incredibly cool people, which was an absolutely critical trait, since we were with them for literally the entire day. Throughout our entire wedding day, they managed to be everywhere without being at all intrusive. In addition to full-day coverage, our package included a photobooth, which resulted in some absolutely hilarious pictures. We also received CDs with high-resolution images from our engagement shoot, wedding day, and photobooth; plus all of the pictures were available online for our guests to see. Rather than only taking pretty pictures (which they definitely did!), PhotoPink managed to capture actual emotions. Our wedding day flew by so quickly, and it means so much to me that I can remember how I felt by just looking at those photos.

Incredible experience! Everyone who has seen my pictures first comments on how great we look, but then make a point to say "Wow, you had an amazingly talented photographer." Liesl Hendrichson is wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. Not only is she professional, kind, and a calming presence to have on your big day, she takes AMAZING photographs! We were so happy with our CD and everyone we've showed them to have loved them as well. Definitely take a look at Photo Pink; definitely hire them.

Waiting to get photos process and will update later, but Liesl could not have done a better job. She came right in starting taking shots and eventually, as the evening unfolded people were extremely warmed up to the camera. I am so excited to see the pictures of the who bridal party. We did some wacky stuff :-). Liesl is extremely responsive via email and extraordinarily professional. I also have to say, I never saw her sit down. She was there for QUITE AWHILE! She's extremely dedicated to her work and a genuinely nice person which makes it extremely easy to work with her.

Liesl and Randy were unavailable, but hooked us up with their incredibly talented associate, Amanda Borozinksi who worked with them for the shoot. Amanda and Liesl did our engagement photos and Amanda and her assistant Will did that wedding. Liesl did all of the editing and post production. They were responsive, sweet, easy to work with, and a joy to have around on my wedding day. I couldn't have asked for easier people to photograph. As if that weren't enough, the pictures are impeccable, their attention to detail notable. They are creative talented people and worth every penny.

Photo pink is AWESOME! Liesl is very easy to work with both before the wedding day and day of; she and Randy were excellent, and i noticed them getting the "important" shots, as well as tons of other shots. They are super flexible, very email responsive, and lots of fun. A HUGE thumbs up!

Hire these photographers! No Joke.

Also, it is probably of note that the photos we have seen thus far are excellent and extremely well shot. :)

We love Liesl from Photo Pink. So easy to work with and really nice person, too. She really put as at ease and worked our wedding from top to bottom. The pics are amazing and creative and unusual. She's a really creative photographer and she captured our event beautifully. Thanks Leisl!

It's hard to overstate how wonderful it was to work with Emily and the rest of Photo Pink. Picking a photographer was a daunting task for me - there were lots of options and I didn't have a particular eye for it. Looking at many portfolios, there were a bunch of mediocre options but also lots of very good ones - but they were hard to distinguish from one another. When I finally came upon Photo Pink and Emily, I was blown away by the talent and creativity. They were unique and amazing and edgy.

Everybody we dealt with was extremely responsive, professional, and pretty cool. This is a Brooklyn business with a Brooklyn vibe. It's in no way "corporate".

Emily shot our engagement pictures and did an amazing job. We were amazed at how well they came out and her eye for a beautiful background.

For the wedding day, we also had the opportunity of working with Jenny, who is also extremely talented. She was laid back and also had great vision. They did an awesome job capturing our ceremony and partying.

Overall, can't say enough good things. They are unique and talented and great to work with. Their services are not cheap, but not outrageous compared to other top shops. Photo pink was worth it!

We absolutely loved Photo Pink! We hired Liesl for our wedding (and engagement photos) and she and her team were just rock stars from beginning to end. Not only were they incredibly patient and thorough, they were so creative in their approach of how to stage us and where to capture the most vibrant and engaging photos. They were also great with given direction to everyone in the wedding party/family - young and old. We can't say enough great things about PP and, specifically, Liesl. She is a joy to work with. Such a professional who truly cares about her clients and loves what she does. If you care in the least bit about doing your photos right -- Photo Pink is the no-brainer choice. They may be a bit spendier than other options (but still not the most expensive), it is most definitely worth it.

Emily and the Photo Pink team provided exemplary service for our wedding. She was quick to respond to schedule changes and flexible with requests. Her work during our engagement photo shoot in Coney Island was amazing, and we have received so many comments on how beautiful the photos are. She and Trent worked great with the outside videographers to beautifully capture the day without interfering with the activities. We are very pleased with how everything came out!

We hired the owner, Liesl and she brought Conrad with her as a second shooter. I am not going to lie, they are not cheap. But it was worth every single penny. My photos look like art, all 1007 of them. She took amazing pictures of people who are far from photogenic. Liesl made me feel beautiful and confident. She was unobtrusive but still managed to cover everything. Plus, she is a really cool person in general. I can’t say enough good things about her; I was simply blown away by her work. One of my favorite vendors. Save your money somewhere else and hire Liesl!

I have mixed reviews. In picking a photographer I didn't want the traditional style- wanted something a little more urban and modern. I found Photo Pink and looked through their portfolio of photographers. I made an appt with them to see a specific photographer. My husband and I ended up speaking to them and we connected. We went back home and called them about a week later to book. After several times trying to get in touch with them I was about to give up as they were unresponsive. Finally I heard back and the delay in hearing from them was because the photographer I met with decided to move back to the west coast so he was no longer available and they were trying to figure out how to let me know.. How about a simple phone call? After that mishap I still decided to give them a shot and go with a photographer they just hired. She too was awesome (Chellise) Chellise and her partner Mike did a wonderful job. My pictures have an edge to it-very creative minds! I loved it! The only complaint I have, which I'm not even sure if their fault entirely, is that they didn't capture many pictures of my immediate family (brothers, sister in law, even parents!) After the ceremony there were some formal pictures of my family in the church but during the reception I honestly can say there are only a handful. When i received my pictures 3 mths later (great turnaround time!) I was sad to see this. I guess I could have explained a little more of the importance of certain family members but i just figured they would catch on after i told them who was who. I think because they are more creative photographers its hard to capture everyone at a wedding if you aren't used to it. While i loved my pictures i was just disappointed in the lack of pictures of my family. On a side note, PhotoPink never told Chellise and Mike they needed their own transportation to our venue. They thought they were coming with us in the limo. They ended up getting a cab to a venue that was an hr away.
