The best photo booth our there! They are so kind and great to work with. I highly recommend booking for your next event--great photos when it comes to customization, quality, and coordination.

Awesome addition to our event!

It was very important to us to have a nurse who are small local businesses and Photomatica was no exception. The work they’re doing restoring vintage photo booths is truly inspiring! Having them at our event was so fun and really brought allowed us to capture great moments with our guests.

Perfection

These guys are the absolute best - I highly recommend Photomatica for any event, but in particular they are great at a wedding.

We hired them for our wedding reception and guests loved using the vintage photobooth throughout the night. After the evening was over we got to re-live the experience by looking through the guests hilarious photos. It was amazing to see all the joy, love and silliness captured.

Loved having a real photo booth at our wedding!

I love the old school vibe of a real photo booth so having one was a must at our wedding! Our guests were a bit confused as there was quite a delay between flashes, no countdown, or screen showing what you look like, but that's the price you pay for vintage! Some additional signage explaining the delay would be helpful, but I otherwise wouldn't have changed a thing.

So much fun!

We hired Photomatica to provide a photo booth at our July 2019 wedding. And it was so much fun! Every single one of our guests - from 8 years old to 80 years old - hopped in the booth at some point during the night giving us a record of so many amazing memories.

There are lots of photo booth companies out there but we strongly recommend Photomatica. Dave and the team were so helpful and responsive throughout the planning process. Dave even worked with us to develop our own unique photo strip design. And on the night we didn't have to do a thing, just hop in the booth and have some fun!

No stress, wonderful and friendly! Do it!

Choosing Photo-matica for our party was the best choice I made. It was easy to coordinate and confirm with them. Eva helped us, arriving early and staying to help everyone. I was very happy with the quality, and everyone had a wonderful time. A lot of people put the print outs on their table and went back for more.

I will use them in the future and would recommend them to anyone.

The very best!

We knew we loved Photomatica from using their photo booths many times over the years in local bars, so they were a natural choice for our wedding. Dave, our contact person, was awesome, helpful and so easy to talk to. Eva, who assisted the booth on the day of, was also so kind and helpful. These photo booths has such great picture quality and our friends and family had a really fun time in the booth all night. Highly recommended!

Highlight of the Night!

We rented the photo booth for our Christmas Eve wedding and it was definitely the highlight of the evening. The photobooth itself had that classic photobooth feel that inspired some hilarious photos. Photo-matica was quick to respond to our request and didn’t upcharge because it was a holiday. Our photo booth attendant, Tommy, was very sweet and flexible with our timeline. Because we were running behind schedule, he arrived just before we started the ceremony, so he wasn’t able to finish setup before the ceremony started. He just quietly stepped out and finished setting up once the ceremony had finished. And when it was time to pack the photobooth back up, he patiently waited for those using the booth to finish, so nobody felt like they were getting kicked out. Despite it being the holidays, we got the digital copies of our photos within 2 weeks of the event. And it was worth every minute of the wait. These photos are the perfect way to remember all the fun we had. One thing I would advise anyone getting a photobooth is to bring your own props! Photo-matica didn’t provide any, but they’re really engaging and they make the pictures so much more fun to look through!

Photomatic went above and beyond! There was a minor snag on the day of our anniversary party, but they responded immediately and handled it all very professionally and quickly. We look forward to working with them again.

Photo-Matica is amazing! From the beginning all email responses were quick. We were able to finish payment and have a design months before our wedding day. On the day of, my coordinator told us that the staff was very understanding and patient when it came to coordinating the right time to set up. Our guests loved it as well :) oh, and reviewing everyone's pictures online after the wedding had to be the best part haha. Thank you Matt & Lisa!!

We used Photo-matica for our holiday party, and it was fantastic! We got options on the customization of the printed photo messaging and also received an online gallery of all the photos. They provided lots of cool props as well, so some of our photos were hilarious! Very easy to work with and reliable folks, which is so helpful when putting together a whole event. I would highly recommend them for any fun event, whether it's a wedding or a party.

When looking for a photo-booth for our wedding, I wanted something that was all-inclusive, included both 2 printouts AND digital copies of the photos, and was reasonably priced. Photo-matica hit all these criteria and were super responsive and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them.

Photo-Matica was the perfect choice for our wedding reception. I had been to a few parties previously where their booth was set up and it was always a blast so when it came time to plan my reception, I made sure to budget for their booth. Our guests loved it and we got digital copies the same night! We're so happy we have these hilarious photos to look back on. Lisa, was beyond professional, accommodating and responsive. The only thing you'll regret is not booking Photo-Matica for your event.

We used Photo-matica for our Law Prom (300 people) at a venue in SF and they were wonderful. No hassle, no fuss, they worked with the venue to coordinate pickup and drop-off of the photo booth. We got the digital prints just a few short days later, and everyone absolutely loved the photo booth. Would strongly recommend!

BOOK THEM!!! This company and its employees rock. They were so easy to work with, they slipped into the venue without any detection, set up quickly, and were insanely nice. Surprisingly, all the little kids at our wedding LOVED the photo booth, so it turned out to be even better of an idea than expected. We received a disc of the photos right then and there after the wedding, and a lovely thank you post card afterwards. If I could I would hire them for every party I ever threw.

Booking Photo-matica was the first thing we did when we decided on the date of our wedding. We had seen them at a friends wedding and we knew we wanted them. They were a wonderful addition to our wedding party. They were professional and fun. They had great props and we loved the photobook that guests could make throughout the night. Also - they were FAST - we got the photos the morning after the wedding!

Matt, Doug, Lisa, and our day-of attendant were all super awesome! Our guests loved the old school booth & we got a ton of compliments on the quality of the photos.

Matt & Doug were incredibly easy to work with from Day 1. They answered my emails within 24 hours (usually less) and were very thorough throughout the entire planning process.

Just days after our wedding, we received our shareable link & high res photos. I couldn't be happier with Photo-matica! Highly recommend.

We used Photo-Matica for 2 Bar Mitzvah parties. Having the photo booth as an activity added a great deal of fun. The system is easily set up and manages itself basically. Host does not need to worry about it at all. Matt De Walt and his crew are kind and easy to work with. We will definitely use them again for future events!

We loved Photo-Matica and so did our guests! Matt and his team provided excellent customer service and quick responses to every email. We got married at the General's Mansion in San Francisco on Valentine's Day. Despite the delays due to traffic and parking confusion, his staff was so patient, professional and responsive. We even got a download of all of the pictures that were taken and our guests super loved that. Photo-Matica added that extra bit of fun to what could have easily been perceived as a very "uptight" venue; it relaxed the event and encouraged fun.

We used this vendor, not for a wedding, but for a 60th birthday party. They were the hit of the party. From start to finish, they were extremely professional. The contract was clear; they kept us apprised of deadlines; and they provided suggestions for photo layouts. On the day of the party, they were extremely resourceful. An unexpected hitch in where the booth could be set up was resolved quickly, and their solution was actually much better than the original plan. Our guests had a lot of fun getting their pictures taken, and they loved having the mementos (as did we).

Having photo-matica at our wedding was perfect! They were so easy to work with and book our date and time, and the value of all that we received was amazing. I hired photo-matica for my wedding at the Westin St. Francis in SF. I worked with Lisa to coordinate everything and she was efficient, professional and nice. I really liked their website and how straightforward everything was. Their pricing was fair and working through the contract and booking process was really easy!

I love the 'old school' style of their photo booth...they also brought a suitcase full of props that we all loved using during our photoshoots! This is such a fun thing to add to any event, I plan on hiring them again for the next big birthday or party!!!

Photo-matica was professional and responsive when it came to renting a photobooth for our wedding. They set up on time and their photobooth is really cool, since it's the old fashioned type of booth and not just a green screen. I recommend using them for any party in the future. The best the best the best!

Coordination prior to event was easy, clear and super responsive. The booth was just as awesome as we hoped it would be and we got memories that were as good as our professional planned photography!

The team rules, the booth is the coolest. Don't look any further, Photo-matica is the only choice for photobooth in the bay area.

We are so pleased that we used Photo-Matica photo booth at our wedding. Their customer service was amazing and they were easy to work with. The on-site photo booth assistant during the event was lovely and took care of everything so that we could just enjoy the festivities. Not until after the party did we realize how much fun our guests had with the photo booth, the pictures were amazing. Our guests assembled a photo-album notebook which we were able to take home with us, we were provided with a CD of the digital pictures and a website with the digital pictures. Totally worth the cost and would strongly recommend this company.

Photomatica provided the perfect addition to our company Holiday party back in December. From the moment I contacted them to the end of our event, they were attentive, listened to all feedback and executed everything flawlessly. They stayed on top of planning for the photo booth more than I did - which made my job quite easy! Very friendly and professional staff. We booked them on very short notice for a corporate holiday party that had a very late start. They were very accommodating and extending their time with us free of charge.The pictures came out great and the staff had a very fun time with all the props. I loved having a Photomatica booth at my wedding! They were extremely helpful from the first stage of planning to the day of the wedding. The booth was a hit, and the staff attendant was helpful and professional. It even had a cool vintage look and didn't take up a ton of space in the venue. I'd highly recommend Photomatica to other brides looking for fun, easy photobooths.

My client was looking for a Photo Booth for her 40th birthday party. I found Photomatica through an online search and the owner, Matt, was so helpful in providing information. They were offering a great promotion that expired at the end of that week, my client was traveling and was not able to sign some of the documents in time but he still honored the discount and was very accommodating and flexible throughout the booking process. He was able to roll with the punches and had a great can-do attitude - a last minute venue change due to flooding was no problem at all for them! They brought a case of fun props and the booth was a big hit at the party! I highly recommend them!

Photo-matica was so wonderful for the Piedmont High School Spring Luau dance! Not only were they flexible and extremely helpful, but they were timely and professional as well, arriving perfectly on time to set up. Photo-matica was prompt, professional and provided a wonderful addition to my wedding. The attendant was hardly seen, which was perfect during our hours of use, and was immediately available when needed. I booked photo-matica for my 25th birthday. The thing I really loved about the company they were so easy to work with. Really quick responses, follow up e-mails, check-in's, & easy mail in payments. The attendant at my party was Chelsea she was so friendly. The set - up was quick and the option of props, b&w & color photos was nice. Best photo booth company I have ever come across. 5 star for sure!

Photo-matica Photo Booth Co was great! Being a bride on the day of the wedding I just wanted things to happen and not have to worry that this or that happened, Photo-matica helped accomplish that goal! I never noticed them arrive, it's like the booth appeared out of nowhere and it was ready to go when we wanted to use it. The pictures were of great quality and they had them to me in a very short amount of time. I would definitely use them again and I would definitely recommend them!

I recently booked Photo-Matica for my company's launch party in SF and the booth was a huge hit! My guests enjoy the traditional style of the enclosed photobooth and the quality of the photos on the strips were really clear and sharp. Originally I wasn't going to have a photobooth at my event but two days before the party I had a change of heart and quickly started calling photobooth companies. What I loved is that someone actually answered the phone to speak with me about my event! Many other companies did not answer or even return my call so it was great to have such excellent customer service, especially considering my request was so last minute and I was planning my event from LA. Owners Matt and Doug were really helpful making sure that they helped me incorporate my logo onto the photo strip design which worked out to be incredible branding and marketing for my business because on the night of the event they gave me a thumb drive which I was able to immediately share with my attendees and then they set up an online gallery for me a few days later to also share. The professionalism and quality of service was very impressive and I look forward to booking them for future events in SF and in Los Angeles, where they also have booths available!

We knew we wanted to have a photo booth at our wedding reception and we are so glad we chose Photo-matica! They were a pleasure to work with and made the entire process easy and stress-free. From the first time we contacted them, Candance was extremely timely in her responses and worked with us to make sure everything was in order and that our logo fit perfectly on the photo strips.

Our guests had a blast with the photo booth and we are so pleased with how the pictures came out! Photo-matica provided an excellent box of props and a scrapbook for guests to leave their photos and a special message for us. In addition, they gave us flash drive at the end of the night with all of the pictures and also made them available in a gallery online that we were able to share with all of our friends and family.

These guys are easy to work with. Transparent agreements are rare in event services, and they delivered well beyond their scope. They worked magically with the rest of the event team/vendors. I get a smile anytime I see their photo-booth at other events and spaces. Highly recommended.

Photo-matica was super organized, easy to deal with, and made sure all of our guests had a lot of fun at the wedding. Matt emailed me regularly with updates and reminders, and was responsive and flexible. They reached out to the event coordinator without me having to do anything, which was one less thing to think about. Their rates are reasonable, they have really fast printing time and great handlers (all KEY features when you have 80 people piling into a photobooth after too many drinks!) Their hats and costumes were fun and interesting, not just the typical stuff.

Lastly, as we were walking out they handed me a flash drive with all the photos, individual as well as series, which was awesome immediate gratification since the professional photos will take so long. Between the drive and the website to download photos, everyone had access to all the pictures right after the wedding.

We wanted to have a photo booth for our wedding, and after some online research and emailing various vendors we settled on Photo-matica. We couldn't have been happier with our choice! Doug and Matt were extremely helpful, nice, and easy to work with leading up to the wedding, and the photo booth was a huge hit at the reception. After the big day, they mailed us a DVD of all the pictures that were taken and post them online so we can share the link with anyone else.

Everything obviously worked out great, but I want to make a special mention of the customer service we received. They were always very quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had, and at no point were we ever worried about anything to do with the photo booth. Given all the balls in the air with a wedding, not having to worry about any one aspect is very reassuring. Thanks!

If we could give more stars, we would. Doug and Matt with Photo-matica were professional from the get-go. As we had a million things going on with planning our wedding, the two gave us one less thing to worry about as their responsiveness to our questions, as well as follow ups and reminders let us know we hired the right company for the job.

Due to the usual bride/groom duties, we weren't able to keep our eye on everything that was going on. As far as the photo booth was concerned, we didn't need to. We had so many of our guests let us know personally how great Doug was. He was professional, cordial, enthusiastic, and in the brief time we talked, a great guy. If it means anything, I (the groom), have never written any type of review for anything or anyone. Hire these guys and you won't go wrong!

Doug was awesome and so was his photo booth!
We loved all of the props to wear, and enjoyed looking thur the photo book at our guests pictures.
Some guests left the wedding without leaving us a photo from the booth, but Doug sent us a cd in the mail with ALL of the photos on it.
We would definately book another event with Doug in the future.

Doug and Photo-matica MADE my wedding!!! Of course, we tried to include the usual elements that make up a good wedding: touching vows, bumpin' dancefloor, good food, and, of course, open bar - but this photobooth gave us something special that the guests could participate in, leave us a nice keepsake in a scrapbook, and take something home.

I know that photobooths are really popular right now and vendors are fashioning their own variations on the traditional booth, but Doug's booth is truly special - it's a classy throwback to the old photobooths of our childhood, but with modern technology and excellent resolution on the pictures. It's all enclosed, making for a private area for you to feel really comfortable acting goofy and making great memories!

Oh, and did I mention the man is also artistic and will custom design you a little logo that comes printed on each of your photo strips? Plus he built this beautiful photobooth from the ground up...amazing! Not only is he responsible, punctual and reliable, but he's also a great guy to be around. We couldn't be happier with our choice!

this was one the best decisions we made for our wedding. everyone absolutely loved it, and doug was so accommodating and awesome!!! he brought props and maintained the photobooth and even stayed a little bit later because he saw how much everyone was enjoying it!!

we had a wedding of around 350 people, and he was able to make it work throughout the night with absolutely no problems. he was there the whole time to make sure nothing went wrong, and he was responsive from beginning to end!

when i wanted to stop by to check out the photobooth to make sure it was a good size and it would produce the right type of picture (and this was before i signed any contract), he invited me to his studio to check it out. he answered any and all questions that i had, showed me the props, explained how the photobooth worked, and worked with me on any concerns i had.

in the end, everything turned out so well. people enjoyed it, and the memories we have from the scrapbook people decorated with their strips is priceless.

In the final hour of wedding planning, we decided to add a photo booth and I found Photo-matica on yelp. I explored a few other options and though less expensive, there were hidden fees and poor customer service that made me nervous. Matt and Photo-matica were awesome through and through. They were super easy to line up last minute, accommodating our location, timeline, etc. The photos are high quality, personalization of photo strips was easy and looks great and the product is definitely the best I've seen in the photo booth world. A suitcase of fun props, a flash drive of all photos, and online hosting was all included. A late night rush hit and they stayed late to allow people to continue flowing in.

Great customer service, great photos, cute easy to use booth...If you can swing it, you absolutely get what you pay for and you and your guests will be so happy you went with Photo-matica!

Photo-matica is the future of photo boothing! Takes both color and black/white images, you get an immediate print, and then the shots are available online. There's a suitcase filled with costume parts. What's not to love?

This is a legit, old school photo booth. It is beautiful and blends in with your venue. It is easy to use and your guests will love it. I paid a little more than I would have with other vendors, but I feel it was worth it. Everyone I dealt with was responsive and professional. I had some photo booth vendors that couldn’t be bothered to give me a call back. You cannot go wrong with Photo-matica!

Photo-matica was great and easy to work with, from the planning stages to our wedding day. This was exactly the kind of photobooth that I wanted for our wedding, complete with props, a step-in booth and easy to use screen. The only thing was towards the end of our event, I wanted to take another photo and the attendant said it ran out of paper and that he'd have to add more, but he wasn't proactive about that and I didn't push it. I was a little disappointed, but despite that, I would use them again.

Hiring Photo-matica was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! They were very professional and helpful throughout the planning process and the event itself. We did a large Reunion event in San Francisco in January 2015 and rented a Photo Booth from Photo-matica. They were really pleasant to deal with, on time, courteous, and all around we are happy to recommend them for any kind of event where a photo booth is needed. Photo-matica, and Doug specifically, were really terrific to work with for my wedding. Communication during the lead-up to our wedding was clear and helpful, and Doug was such a nice guy, as well as very reliable and responsive, on the day of. I recently hired Photo-matica Photo Booth for my wedding on 9/8 at the Oceano Hotel in Half Moon Bay. From start to finish, Dave was highly responsive to my questions both over email and over the phone. On the day of the event, the set-up was so smooth that to me it was like the photo booth had magically appeared! They provided lots of great props and we added a couple of our own (photo cut-outs of our beloved cat). The attendant Eva was great and provided us with a drive at the end of the night with all the photos. They also make your photos available on their online gallery where your guests can download the photos for free. The photo booth was a huge hit at the wedding and our guests loved it! It was well worth factoring into our wedding budget and the price point was just right for us.

I am an event producer and have used various photobooth vendors in the past. Last year, when one of my regulars couldn't do the job, I found Photo-matica. Wow! I will never use another vendor again. Everything about my experience was perfect - speedy response time to my inquiry (in on a weekend), competitive prices, prompt and complete answers to my questions, great staff on event day, quick set-up and tear-down. We asked for a photo booth. Service was professional and on time. When anyone took a picture, they were given (2) physical color copies of the pictures and we were given a copy of all the pictures that were taken right after the event was over.

set-up was very quick, representative available for the entire event just in case but no technical assistance required on our part, clean up also very efficient. pictures were great and link to digital files readily available.
