AMAZING staff !!!! We felt so comfortable with the entire crew which is extremely important to have great pictures !! Photo FX made that possible in every aspect. They were shooting the ENTIRE day making sure not a single moment was missed !! They even came with an assistant who was constantly keeping me calm & taking care of me. She even made sure the dress was always positioned perfectly for each picture. Mark out photographer was amazing with us, friends and family.. making everyone feel at ease. We just started looking through pictures & being that we have about 1000 beautiful & perfect shots we know its gonna be hard to pick !! But that is certainly a good problem to have !!! They shot at so many different angles to make sure they got the timeless image. I cannot wait to start working on our album, portraits and video. Excellent Service, Truly Professional & HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Choose PhotoFX for your photography & videography & you will not be disappointed. LOVE THEM !!! -

After meeting with several other photographers, it was crystal clear that Mark was the perfect fit from the moment we met him. He was very flexible with our wishes, and his entire staff provided exceptional service. While we love all of the posed shots, some of our very favorites are the candids when we didn’t even know he was there! The blog write up afterwards was such a beautiful touch, and our guests (and those that couldn’t make it) loved being able to recapture the moment so quickly. We’d recommend Photo FX Studio to anyone!

Photo FX studios was by far the best vendor I chose. They were worth every single penny. The quality of service was superb. I had two photographers and two videographers and they were practically invisible and managed to capture every special moment.
Mark the owner and photographer is an amazing individual. He is sweet and friendly and extremely professional and responsive. He returned every phone call and email promptly and was always pleasant and understanding. He is extremely flexible and made it a pleasurable experience. I will continue to recommend Mark and his staff to any bride and groom I encounter. After a wedding is set and done there is only one thing you have left, a memory and unfortunately those memories fade quickly so the only way to make them last is to take a moment and look through those pictures and watch that video. And thanks to FXstudios My pictures are stunning. They captured every detail in an artistic way. I cant describe it . You simply have to see it . The videography was edited just like it was a movie. It is by far the best work I have ever seen. They truly create a masterpiece. -

My (now) husband and I came to photoFXstudios as a recommendation from some of our friends. We came to our appointment and were blown away by the quality of their work and professionalism, we booked them right away. From the engagement shoot to the finishing touches of the album Mark and his team were extremely patient and understanding, They actually listened to our requests and were very accommodating in every sense of the word. The music that was picked for our love story and our wedding video was perfect, we didn’t need to change much, but what we did change was done very quickly and with “taste”. We are blown away by their work. Thank you for everything! -

We booked Photo FX Studio for our wedding on 18th of September and couldn't have been happier. The service that was provided was exceptional. On the day itself they were very professional and also put us at ease while getting photos taken. One of our request was to take picture of all guests (single, couples or groups) before they entered the ceremony area that was held outdoors. These photos were to become our wedding favors that would be distributed at the end of the evening. The results were amazing. The 100+ guests commented that they have never seen such an amazing photo favor. Mark included a small picture of us, a thank you note and our invitation monogram as the footer on the photos. Even the groom concurred with the guests. He does not like to have picture taken of himself. We were so impressed with Mark and his team’s professionalism, personality, creativity and patience that we have already recommended them to all our friends and family. Although we are still selecting photos for our album and are waiting on the video, we have no doubt that Mark will display all the wonderful memories from our Special Day on the finish products. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Photo fx studio provided me with such amazing photography. Mark is very personable and he makes your guests feel comfortable. He got some amazing shots and created not only an amazing album, but also a spectacular DVD and portraits. On such a hectic day it was so nice to have photographers and videographers who were professional and patient. I would recommend Mark and his company to anyone who needs photography or videography for any occasion. -

Mark and his team from Photo FX Studio captured our wedding on August 5th, 2011. We were very happy with Photo FX and would not hesitate to recommend Mark to our friends.
Mark was very professional and organized. He answered our emails timely and provided an organized "Package Options" list for our review. He was helpful in describing the details of each package without trying to upsell for something we did not need. He actually listened and responded to our needs accordingly
On the day of the wedding, Mark and his team came dressed in neat, professional attire (no shorts or sneakers like some photographers). They were right on time, ready with all the equipment.
It was very important to us that the vendors come happy and smiling, because a wedding is supposed to be a happy day! I am glad that Mark was smiling and upbeat, making us smile and relaxed. He never got frustrated, no matter how/where/when we wanted to take a picture.
At the wedding, Mark or one of his colleagues were always on the dance floor, right by us; not one time did I find myself wondering where our photographers were.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with Mark's professionalism and the quality of his work. -

PhotoFx provided us with unbelievable service! We couldn't be happier with having them cover our wedding on August 21, 2011! My husband and I found Mark through a recommendation. We had been looking around for awhile but we knew instantly that Mark was the right guy for us. Photo FX Studio has been amazing. They have provided us with top notch service and the staff is very personable. It is very clear that with Photo FX Studio, you're not viewed as just another customer. They provide each couple with the personal attention that every bride is seeking. The pictures the team took were breathtaking and we've gotten thousands of compliments on our wedding album. Mark and the entire Photo FX Studio team were a complete pleasure to work with! They walked us through the whole process in detail and took the time to offer many great recommendations, such as different styles & locations, and on-the-spot photography for our guests (which everyone loved!). He did a fantastic job with our engagement photoshoot as well as our wedding day photography. Throughout the entire wedding day, we felt as though we were spending time with old friends and not a vendor. Mark even surprised us and our guests with a slideshow at our reception, showing photos from earlier that day with the bridal party. Mark is extremely open to feedback and really works hard to produce a final product that his clients will be happy with. He is always available to talk/meet and was very accommodating to our hectic schedules. I have known Mark for a while before I got married. So I already knew that he was an amazing photographer. When it came to my wedding I knew that I would be using only Mark. He is very professional, responsible and does what he tells you that he will do. I just recently used Mark again for my daughters 1st birthday party and once again he did an amazing job. It is not about the food, or the music. It is the beautiful photos that are important, because they last a life time. And Mark delivered.
It was a great pleasure working with Mark. I especially would like to mention the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere that he brought in to the experience. I have never taken professional pictures before, so prior meeting Mark for engagement pics, I was nervous. No need to be. Mark right away put us at ease. He came up with creative ideas for the shot. Right away I felt comfortable. He was always able to capture the moment at the right time from the right angle.
I also loved the style of albums, the vast choice to choose from, and all the extras like, engagement photo shoot (which I highly recommend), the large picture at the reception, engagement album for guests to sign, frames, and finally the thank you cards
Mark is very professional, and creative. He was prompt with his work, and was always available for us. He listened to our concerns and made suggestions.
Overall, I enjoyed Mark's service a lot, and would definetely recommend him to anyone. I also suggest booking the engagement photo shoot, I got to see my best poses, angles and light prior the wedding. We had a lot of fun, and pictures came out wonderful. Good Luck!! -

When we met Mark, at a Bridal show in Miami and saw his work, we immediately fell in love with his work. Through his work, he has we creativity, and professionalism. What more can we ask for. I won a free engagement shoot with FX Studio at a NY bridal show. Mark is extremely professional and easy to work with. He made being in front the camera feel very 'normal'. I would definitely recommend him, as well as use his services again at other events in my life. Thanks Mark! OH, he also has the best idea for guest books! Photo fx studio did an amazing job at our wedding. Very professional and understanding. Knew exactly what needed to be done to make this day very relaxing and enjoyable for us. The team was on time and very reliable. I highly recommend them. They came prepared and knew exactly what and when needed to be done. Everyone enjoyed their company as they fit right in during your wedding as if they are part of your family. We did not have a video but the pictures that were taken captured all the right moments that when we look back we remember and enjoy them. The wedding album came out amazing that even 2+ years later when we and others look at it they can't believe how beautiful it is. Will definitely hire them for our future events.

I met Mark at a bridal expose and won a free engagement shot at his studio. When I brought my husband-to-be with me, we looked at Marks work just out of politeness since we were receiving a free professional portrait from him. Well, we fell in LOVE with his albums, creativity, personality and professionalism. We booked him in a split second without even considering the cost since we looked everywhere beforehand (ranging from extremely high to extremely low costing photographers). When our special day arrived, we were beyond of being impressed, we were speechless! He truly made our wedding day that much more special! Whats even more important, is that my husband (for the first time in his life) felt completely "natural" in front of a camera. We both had a blast! My bridal party, in-laws, parents and guests have all expressed their amazement on his attention and care that he has so explicitly taken to capture the event ideally! I was about to recommend his company for my friends wedding but before I could say anything, she was already asking me for his information! Whats even more amazing was the breathtaking wedding album that he created for us! His imagination truly has no barriers, our album is nothing short of a phenomenal work of art! I just have to say, booking him for our wedding was the best decision my husband and I have made, he is a Michael Angelo of the photography word!!! -

I was very pleased with the work Photo FX provided! Mark was a natural when it came to capturing exactly what we wanted...even his assistant was great! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. He even accomodated our request when we wanted to make changes to our album...and we got it back sooner than I expected! We had 3 months to plan for our wedding and Photo FX Studio was the second studio we looked at for our photos and video. We instantly fell in love with the beautiful photo album and the video we sampled at the studio. It also helped that I personally knew the photographer for many years and saw his work at friends' weddings. Our photos are beautiful, all the wonderful moments were captured. The service was great, prices reasonable and the photographers/videographers were entertaining throughout the whirlwind day. Though I am still waiting to see the video, I am sure it will come out perfect! I highly recommend Photo FX Studio for your wedding or any other special event!!! -

Photo FX Studio would be my only choice in photoagraphy going forward. If i had a special day or event to capture going forward they would be the only ones i would trust to deliver. Mark, the photographer and his crew (including the videographers) were amazing. I didn't have to give them a script, he knew exactly which pictures to take. We barely knew they were there and yet our pictures came out better than I could have hoped. Even our guests liked them. They weren't just professional, they were also kind, and looked just as happy to be there as we did. I highly recommend Photo FX Studio, and will use them for any other formal affairs I will have in the future. -

Mark went out of his way to make sure that our wedding day photoshoot and our wedding album worked out the way we wanted it. He was happy to let us venture as far away from the mainstream as we wanted to, and made sure that the resulting work was top notch. Everyone who comes to our house and sees Mark's work wants a referral.
And of course Mark and his team are very personable and a joy to work with.

Photo FX is an absolutely WONDERFUL vendor. I met Mark, the owner, at a Bridal show in Miami. And even though his studios are in New York, he shot our Engagement session AND Wedding in FL at no additional expenses to us. I fell in love with his work immediately after seeing his albums, and I knew Photo FX was the photographer for us. The energy Mark and company brings was definitely appreciated, as it got everyone involved excited and ready. He captured the very essence of what our Special day was meant to provide - and looking through the photos instantaneously takes us back to the moment. I'd recommend their services over 10 out of 10 times! -

Mark (the owner) was very professional, nice and hard working. He made me feel at ease the entire time while taking pictures at my wedding. He provides many packages in all price ranges, and was flexible. I recommend Photo FX Studios for all events that you would want to be captured in beautiful pictures/albums. -

Photo FX was extremely professional during our wedding. They captured unique moments that we will treasure forever. Our wedding book is THE BEST wedding book we have ever seen; we still get comments on it each time we show it to others. The inlaid photos and the color details are phenomenal -- unlike any wedding book I have ever seen. -

Starting early in the morning and throughout the wedding night, all memorable moments were captured by three photographers from Photo FX Studio, including the owner of the studio Mark. Early on Mark gave us excellent advice on choosing the Staten Island Botanical Gardens as the place to take pictures, and the place proved to provide a beautiful landscape for capturing shots of a lifetime. The catering hall garden was fantastically used to take so many wonderful pictures that when it came time to decide on an album, we did not want to leave anything out.
Mark came to the salon where I was getting ready earlier than promised and without wsting any time started taking pictures. Throughout the day he took all the possible shots without realizing that he really outdid his promised quota. This showed us that he was really there to capture all the wonderful moments that we had during our very special wedding. -

We booked Mark after meeting with several different photographers. We felt that with him we would get the most professional service, and the best value for a full day of shooting. He really put both of us at ease, which was extremely important that day. His assistant was lovely and very helpful. We got our pictures back in record time, and can't wait to see what the album will look like. -

These guys get good reviews and their samples were great, so they seemed like the perfect crew for our big day.
On video: Friendly and nice camera crew using high quality cameras. However the quality of editing fell far below my expectations. Specifically, there was way too much unnecessary video of musicians on stage, very little video taken of the cute little kids and older family members in general etc. In addition, we were promised a completed video by 6 months after our wedding date and received it almost 10 months later because they forgot about our video. Perhaps this happens behind the scenes of many similar businesses however the misleading runaround we got for months was epic. I've seen a number of wedding videos recently, and I know the value we personally got was subpar. I will however give credit to a well made short 5 min version of our video.
On photography: The cameras used were certainly high quality and we got a few pretty amazing photos (mostly of the bride/groom & wedding party). However, for some reason, about 90% of the photos taken at the wedding itself were of large dancing crowds in a fishbowl-like effect, the family group pictures taken were terrible, poor positioning and very few in number, and there is no evidence that half of the people at my wedding even came because there were no pictures of them.
Overall, our personal experience was not great but looks like a lot of people seem to love these guys. Perhaps this was just a one time fluke we were lucky to be the center of.. -

I used the guy to photograph my wedding. 99% of the photos were thrown away as he couldn't manage lighting properly, wasn't focused on people's faces and besides having expensive equipment simply didn't have what it takes to take a good photograph.
Thanks G-d we had video photographer that we used, so we have good source for memories. -

Brides pleaseeeee.. do not book with photofx studio, you will regret it. It has been almost a year and I have NOTHING. Mark never responds to calls/texts and after wedding day is MIA. VERY unprofessional. Also I know they deleted other brides posts who have had a bad experience with him as well. So for those of you that do read this (before they delete), please please trust me and do not book with them. -

With no personal recommendations for a wedding videographer, we found Photo FX online and contacted Mark Salner. Mark was nothing but responsive when he was pursuing our business and continued to be responsive up to our wedding date. Then he disappeared. As 3 months went by, 6 months went by, we'd only get the occasional response to our inquiries about the progress of our video. When pressed, Mark responded that we'd be very happy with the final product and to just relax. When we finally received our video 9 months later, it was a nightmare; even the date written on the cover of our DVD was wrong. Fake sound, weird cuts, awful color...The video was subpar in every way possible, When we contacted Mark he said "Sorry, no re-edits." Our follow up calls and e-mails went unanswered when finally he resurfaced to apologize and tell us that he had made some bad hiring decisions and the editor that worked on our video was no longer with the company. He promised everything would be fixed by the end of the year and that he was backed up on a bunch of videos. Meanwhile, January 2014 came and went with nothing from Mark. He resurfaced once to tell us he was dealing with illness in his family, and ordinarily we would have been sympathetic, but to us, it was just another excuse. Now it is May 2014, almost 21 months since our wedding, and there has been nothing but radio silence from him. We have given up on ever receiving a decent video from him and are now pursuing legal action.
Save yourselves from this train wreck of a business. He is a lying and sleazy cheat (he tried to tell us we owed him money at one point when we clearly didn't because he doesn't release any videos before receiving payment in full). I am happy for those who received decent products from Mark's other hires, but it's not worth the risk. -
