Why I labeled this title of this review "Magic with Marcus" because he TRULY made our experience so magical for us. He really listened to our wants, needs and desires. He helped us organize the whole night and really made it so easy for us! He was always in consistent contact with us and always did everything he could to make sure we were happy. We also did not have a great experience with the staff or coordinators at Villa Siena in Gilbert so he really made up for the negative feelings we had for our wedding day. he helped us with all of our scheduling and planning things out. I will definitely be recommending him to our friends and family for their future events! Thank you Marcus for everything!!!!! -

We booked Villa Siena as our wedding venue, and we wanted an ‘oomph’ factor when walking into the reception, and Phoenix Uplighting was the best choice we made. We decided to go with Marcus Trollmann (Ray the DJ) as our DJ for the wedding encouraged by many favorable reviews he had. And boy, it was one of the best decisions we made that night. He was fantastic, very approachable and kept the dance floor ignited for the entire duration of the reception. His mixes were brilliant, and we were worried about giving him with a massive list of Bollywood songs, but I think it’s fair to say that he knocked it out of the park. 11/10 would recommend!
We were enthralled by the uplighting photos Phoenix Uplighting had on their reviews, and decided to go with them. It was beautiful, what we were given. We also went with the ‘dance on clouds’ feature which made everything better. And to add the cherry on top, Marcus decided to surprise us with ‘cold sparklers’ at the end of our dance. THAT WAS JUST GORGEOUS! Can’t thank him enough.
Marcus was also very responsive, would accommodate a lot of last minute changes we had, and an absolute saint. You can’t go wrong with him and Phoenix Uplighting. Cheers!

Marcus was very professional and kept the party going! Marcus was exceptionally good at communicating with the bride and groom regarding the music flow and reading the dance floor. After the wedding all of our guests talked about how amazing the music and atmosphere was. All of our party animal guests, grandmas, and kids were pleased! Disney Fairytalw lighting
Marcus went above and beyond for the lighting at our wedding. It was Disney themed and he was able to customize our moving monogram to purple as well as add some Disney flare. His small touches made our day so special and memorable to everyone -

The uplighting and custom monogram from Phoenix Uplighting adding such a special and elegant touch to our wedding venue. We also had a photo booth which was a hit with all the wedding guest. After the event with a link everyone was able to view a gallery of guest photos. What a fun surprise! Thank you Marcus for all your help you're amazing. Marcus did a fantastic job lighting our reception space and making a beautiful monogram that was projected on our wall. Working with him was so amazing. He was very flexible. We moved our party from one ballroom to another and forgot to check in with the venue about our original plan to include cold sparks. We learned weeks before our wedding we weren’t permitted to use them in the new room and Marcus allowed us to adjust our order and was able to accomodate. We loved how our ballroom looked and highly recommend him!! -

Marcus is wonderful! He met with us numerous times before our wedding and helped us with all of our details, and even gave us some new, fun ideas too!
At our wedding, he added uplights to our dance floor that looked amazing! Our guests were all dancing and Marcus played all of their requests! Our guests even commented how great he was!! He really helped everyone enjoy the evening.
After the wedding Marcus was kind enough to drop us a note and send a few pictures that he somehow managed to take that evening! One of his pics is our absolute favorite (attached)! We can’t say enough great things about Marcus and how he added to our special day! Thank you so much Marcus! You are a class act!

Marcus was the DJ for my wedding and made our night so memorable and fun!!! He was so friendly and helpful during our pre-wedding meetings and helped us with song ideas, the timeline of our event, and made sure to make us feel special. Marcus communicated with us so well that we never felt like we were on the back-burner; we felt like a priority and knew he would do everything he could to make our night so special. And he did!!!! I would recommend Marcus to anyone who is planning a wedding, he is amazing and knows how to get people on the dance floor!!! -

Amazing Service!!
Phoenix Uplighting was amazing! They helped make my big day so special by creating the warmth and personalization it needed with the custom lighting. The sparklers and walking on a cloud for our first dance were spectacular! Everyone loved them, they really helped make our first dance so much more special. I definitely recommend Phoenix Uplighting and would use them again in the future for a special event. The staff is extremely helpful and nice, they are amazing! -

Marcus was an absolute pleasure to work with from the very beginning (over a year before my wedding day) to the big day itself! We would communicate often and discuss things like song selection, timeline, and additional upgrades he had available for our big day. In addition to using Marcus as our DJ, we also secured our monogram and photobooth through him. Everything was so simple and clear, and I never had to worry when working with Marcus. If questions came up, he would immediately reach out and make sure everything was exactly as I wanted. Not to say I was a bridezilla BUT I am an event planning professional and I know what I want…so for him to exceed my expectations and make me feel comfortable entrusting him with so many important details is a HUGE DEAL. Thank you, Marcus, for setting the tone for our day- I wish we had a reason to do it all over again with you! -

We received so many compliments on our DJ. Marcus is the absolute best! The dance floor was never empty. Marcus went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for our big day. Marcus also snapped some great photos of us and shared them with us the next day. If you are looking for the most amazing hype man, look no further.. Marcus knows how to read a room and he knows how to make your wedding perfect. Thank you so much for everything you did for us! -

Perfection!
We hired this company for cold sparks and dancing on the cloud affect- everything was perfect and beyond amazing!! The cold sparks were so beautiful during our first dance. I cannot be more appreciative of the professionalism and details they put in place to make my special day beautiful! -

We hired Marcus for our wedding day at Villa Siena and cannot thank him enough! Marcus was absolutely a delight to work with. His communication is very prompt, responsive, and professional. We opted for the ultra deluxe uplighting package, a monogram, sparkler fountains, and the beautiful DJ booth with monogram. Everything turned out BEAUTIFULLY! The uplighting just added to the romantic ambiance, our monogram was beautifully displayed above our sweetheart table and DJ booth, and the sparkler fountains were a hit with our guests! Everything was perfect, and absolutely worth every penny. We are so happy that we booked with Phoenix Uplighting and will cherish all of it for many many years to come.
