Douglas was referred to me by mine and my wife’s wedding coordinator. He met with us weeks before to get all the special details together so he could give us exactly what we were looking for on our special day. He showed up rocking an awesome setup! He has quality equipment that sounds fantastic, and even presented a slideshow of pictures on a flatscreen TV mounted into the DJ Booth, of me and my wife in the years leading up to the big day. He showed up early, was ready ahead of time, and truly went above and beyond the whole wedding. He made all of the announcements, played all of our favorite songs, and remained professional throughout the night. At one point there was a noise ordinance and the fire station next door to the venue tried to shut us down. Douglas adapted to the situation on the spot, and adjusted the equipment to appease the venue and keep the party rocking! Needless to say it was all for a great price, but you really can’t put a price on such a great experience and fantastic night, all thanks to Douglas and Phoenix Live Ent.

It was a pleasure working with Doug. I think he was the most responsive vendor that I worked with for our wedding. We worked with him for two years because our wedding was originally scheduled for June 2020 but we postponed a full year because of the pandemic. I really got to know him over those two years, and he was so easy to work with and receptive to our wants/needs. He was also a hit with our guests at the reception, and we got many compliments. He did a great job keeping the energy up, even though we had a smaller number of guests than we had originally planned because of the pandemic. For our first dance we did the fairytale first dance (it might not be called that now) where there is fog pushed out across the dancefloor, and it was so beautiful and our guests loved it. We also used them for a photobooth, which was also a lot of fun and really popular with our guests (especially the kids). Our guests were able to get physical photo strips at the reception and we also got access to all the digitals after the fact, which was a lot of fun to look through and share. During the reception, Doug was sure to take care of a lot of logistics so we didn’t have to, and he worked really well with our venue/other vendors to make sure things went smoothly. And for what it’s worth, all of their services are really reasonably priced! -

Wes is your man!
We know Wes from previous gigs we have seen him at and he always brings charisma, joy, laughter, and kindness wherever he goes. He is helpful and thoughtful and did whatever he could to make my husband and I’d wedding unique to us! All our guests loved him and many even referenced him by name saying they had great conversations with him and that he was so lovely to speak to. I highly recommend him for all your entertainment needs— he brings something special to the table. Also, he’s hilarious! -

OMG people danced at my wedding! I always thought my reception was going to be burning and over super quick but man was I wrong. Doug got people dancing that I have never seen dance. He played all the must haves for my day. Even with the last minute changes my ceremony and reception was flawless. Thank you Doug and the team at Phoenix Live for all that you do for your couples -

Doug did an amazing job help capture the ambiance we were going for. The ice blue lighting went perfectly with the decorations and color scheme, and the mirror photo booth was a hit. There were so many props for people to choose from. Doug is also hilarious and great to work with. We even received copies of all of the photos from the photo booth. -

Anjellica Sent on 06/06/2018As a photographer I have worked with Doug a few times. Every time has been wonderful. He has made sure the guest are happy, dancing and entertained. He has always made sure we do not miss a moment. If something is about to happen we are the first to know and are able to quickly get into place and capture every moment. Having a DJ to think about your happiness is so important in the out come of your wedding and I highly recommend Doug to all couples looking for a DJ!
