I didn’t realize how picky I was about photographers until I started looking at ones that seemed to only have group photos to show for what they captured at a wedding. I wanted someone to be able to capture moments and feelings during the engagement leading up to the big day. You can hand a nice camera to anyone and get decent group photos, I wanted someone to capture the feelings that encompassed the best day of our lives. Tim was able to not only capture special moments that I didn’t see but I was able to relive moments and emotions I was a part of through his work. He did an incredible job from organizing my crazy crew (24 bridal party + 2 juniors + 3 littles), and my crazy family, to giving us the space to enjoy yet fully capturing the moments of our first looks, ceremony, dances, etc. He was extremely responsive, quick to send sneak peaks, and even quicker to edit and send the full albums from the engagement through the wedding. He is so warm and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Tim captured our day so beautifully and we will forever be grateful. Would highly recommend!! -

Ok first of all who wants a videographer who doesn't build some type of connection or chemistry with the bride and groom. I mean since day one speaking to Caleb and Tim with Phocus Films they were like a best friend, all excited about my engagement and wanting to know all the deets. I knew from that moment I couldn't hire anyone else. Not to mention, my now hubby didn't even see the purpose for a videographer lol I was like nooooo… we have to, it's a lifetime memory! Guess what, the day of the wedding OMG, my hubby was literally bragging and in love with Tim and Caleb of how personal, caring, patient and detailed they were!!! It was an absolute pleasure working with the two of them. FYI, go hunt them down on social media, I literally cry on each video, they will not disappoint. They are just natural pros and make it look like a movie trailer, no joke.. Thank you again, Caleb and Tim for being our cheerleaders and capturing our special day! We couldn’t have been happier with our video and it was the best decision ever. We are eternally grateful. -

Absolutely Amazing!
We originally decided to go with Phocus because of the great reviews and we loved a lot of the pictures we saw on social media and their website.... for both our engagement session and our wedding they went beyond our expectations!!! We threw a lot of last minute changes at them and a lot of requests for specific group pictures and not once did they make it seem like we were asking too much. They took every change and request and either made it happen or made it work better. Thank you for such an amazing experience that is still going, Phocus definitely gets 10/10 in every way!!! 🥳🥰🎉 -

They are literally the best people if you want creative and fun pictures! We had our engagement pictures done and the results had us speechless! They were so creative with the different poses and super fun. They also made the shoot a lot of fun by playing music and little “games” to keep us smiling and not as tense! Highly recommend them for pictures! -

Not only were our pictures phenomenal, but our whole experience with Tim and Audrey (and their team) was fantastic from start to finish. They took the time to get to know us and about what is special to us… they made sure to capture all of those extra special moments and tiny details that we can now treasure forever in these amazing photos and videos! The day of our wedding flowed so seamlessly with the dream team of vendors we had set up, but Tim and Audrey and their team jumped right in and made sure that everything was taken care of for us. Aside from taking amazing photos they were right there with a safety pin to fix my stepdaughter’s dress, or ready to jump in the car and run to the store when they were worried our cake wasn’t going to show up! Phocus really is the whole package… it’s a whole experience, it’s a relationship, it’s trusting the most important day of your life to the absolute right people to take care of you just like family!!! -

Amazing quality, and probably the nicest people on the planet!
We won a free engagement shoot from Phocus, and from the moment I first spoke with Tim I could tell how genuine and fun he and his team are!! Tim was so flexible with rescheduling because of rain and made the whole process so easy and stress free. Their process of taking pictures is so fun and enjoyable, they make it all so easy (and I was a little nervous to be in front of the camera because I haven’t had professional pictures taken like this before!) Phocus definitely lives up to the hype you hear about them from other vendors and previous clients. They also got our pictures back to us way faster than I expected, and we are obsessed with them! I am so happy I chose to go with Phocus Photography for my wedding photos and video. They are not only affordable, but they made our wedding day experience PHENOMENAL, so much so, I would have paid double to have them do it. From the initial meeting with Tim, to our wedding day and after, their whole team has been a dream to work with. Our photos turned out stunning. Ive had more people than I can count ask me who did my photos and just compliment the unique detailing of the photos we received. Our photo album also turned out amazing thanks to Tim, and everyone who sees it is obsessed. They showed up to the wedding with the biggest smiles on their faces and kept everyone on schedule while also having fun. Tim & Audrey were an absolute pleasure to work with and oh my stars their work was unbelievably stunning! When I reached out to Phocus Photography very last minute, and I'm talking like under 2 weeks last minute, I was blown away at how willing they were to move things around in their schedule to accommodate us. We felt a connection with them right away after sharing we are a military/COVID couple and learning they have a passion to support those in service as well as hearing their excitement to shoot an intimate ceremony, we eloped, because of the extra time and attention they can give the couple. Communication leading up to, during and after our special day was phenomenal. I didn't have to worry that they would miss a single shot I was hoping for. In actuality they captured everything I wanted and more. They were friendly and terrific with giving photo direction how to stand, which way to look, expressions to make, etc. They came prepared with lots of ideas and we had a blast with all of it. It's a day we will never forget and we are beyond grateful for them capturing these sweet memories for us. I highly recommend you choose Phocus Photography for your professional photo needs. An amazing team with beautiful souls! After viewing Tim & Audreys pictures we knew that we had to snag them, but it wasn’t until we met them that we truly new- these are our people! We booked our entire wedding date etc around whether or not they were available!! Crazy right? But we knew they would be amazing! The two are really incredible people who have developed a wonderful business and truly love what they do. We had to postpone our wedding a year because of welcoming our miracle girl to the world- and they worked with us and made sure that everything worked out. Amazing people and fantastic photos
I found Tim by chance when I was getting my wedding dress and from the minute I contacted them about inquiring about wedding photos, I knew they were the ones we were going to go with. They were great about answering questions, going over everything, and making my husband and I feel comfortable with the whole planning a wedding process. Every time we met up with Tim and Audrey it was like we were hanging out with friends we have known forever. My husband and I don't really like taking pictures or being in them, but when we took our engagement photos and wedding photos, we honestly were acting like we were hanging out instead of doing a photo shoot. Even at our wedding they helped out with some things other than just taking the photos. The quality of photos is amazing and honestly will use them again when we need photos taken. -

Truly Amazing
Oh my gosh, where to begin!! Tim and Audrey are Phenomenal! There attention to detail is amazing! They kept us laughing and feeling good! Me and my husband have no clue how to pose or anything and they knew where to put us and what to have us do to where we looked like naturals! Our engagement photos turned out AMAZING! Our wedding photos...... jaw dropping....... we are having THE HARDEST time finding the most perfect ones to print! They captured our wedding in such a way that it puts you right back in that moment. The wedding day went by so fast so to be able to look at a photo and feel like you’re back in that moment is just so special. I can’t say enough good things about them! I LOVED that they made a timeline for us as well for when and who needed to be ready! They offer pretty much any package deal you could ever need! Even if they have to travel I highly recommend them! They’re just great people to have around! Photos are something that we will be able to keep and look back on forever, photos mean the world to me. They provided us with so many photos is so hard not to print all of them! We did create a beautiful album with them that I am SO excited to get! I enjoyed their company and the photos are just absolutely amazing! My husband Eric and I cannot say enough good things about Tim and Audrey and their team of photographers. We had to reschedule our wedding due to Covid-19 and on our new date there was a tropical storm!!! I was worried that I would not get great pictures because the weather would limit our ability to get around the venue to take pictures. The photographs were my main part of my wedding budget. Tim and Audrey were very calming in the midst of the tropical storm. Tim was very reassuring. They worked so well with my other vendors Sowell Farm and DJ Tom. They are "The Dream Team" and I highly recommend you use all three of these vendors for your wedding. Tim was able to drive us all over the Farm on the golf carts to keep us dry and to expedite the photographs. We got over 546 amazing photos! The colors are spectacular and he was able to get a lot of unique angles and shots. We did get soaked for the signature "sparkler exit" and "champagne shot" but it was so worth it. We absolutely LOVE our wedding album that Tim made of all the best photographs. The quality of the book and Tim's unique eye for design made this the most wonderful keepsake memory from our wedding. The pictures are what help you remember all the magic that happened at the wedding. I felt like I was in a dream the whole time. Looking back at the pictures brought all that back to me over and over again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Phocus Photography for any pictures you may need. They have such a great energy and they do this because it is their gifting and talents. They are by far the best!!! -

Phocus Photography! For starters Tim and Audrey are such a great team they complete each other in the most perfect way in professional and personal aspects! They are both so kind, helpful, generous, encouraging, and supportive throughout the entire wedding process from before the first meeting to the last! Not once have I lost confidence in them! They still amaze me even after working many weddings with them previously and especially after my own. The engagement shoot we did before our wedding was perfect. Tim and Audrey took the time to work with us to get some amazing shots and to feel more comfortable with them around, and in front of the camera before our big day. When it came to the big day our pictures were phenomenal to say the least. Every person I have spoken to since our big day has gone on and on about how amazing and professional they were. Even capturing moments we didn’t even realize they were around for. We decided to include the photo booth and oh my gosh it was awesome! Everyone LOVED taking photos and gifs that got sent directly to the guests phones and everyone was able to view ALL OF THEM with the link sent, which was perfect. We also got an album with our engagement photos to use as our guest book and one of our wedding day that Tim designed himself. They are both such high quality, so special, and a perfect keepsake for years and years to come. I recommend them with my highest regards and CAN NOT WAIT to let them continue capturing our lives as a family. -

Tim and Audrey were by our sides all day making sure all our needs were met, and capturing all the important memories for our Wedding Day. It honestly felt like we were hanging out with friends all day rather then just having photographers following us around. Tim even bustled my dress for me! Our pictures were BEAUTIFUL and all 594 were delivered to us within 10 DAYS of our wedding! Our package included an engagement session, photo book of engagement photos that we used as our guest book, and ALL DAY coverage with 2 photographers! Ok, where to begin! Whew, let me collect my thoughts. We went Venue shopping in January 2018 and the venue recommended Tim from Phocus Photography for pictures. I went online and looked at his work and immediately called to set up a meeting. We met and I fell in love with not only his beautiful pictures but also with his wonderful personality! We sat talking for about an hour and a half. I knew within the first 5 minutes that he would be taking our photos. I went home spoke with my fiancé and we went and put down our deposit shortly thereafter! My husband isn’t big on pictures so we didn’t do any engagement pics. A few months later, when paying the rest of our balance, I met his wife and it just solidified our decision to have them take pictures on our wedding day! To see them together and be in the presence of their love was just the icing on the cake! Let’s skip ahead to our wedding day. My husband and I are those annoying indecisive people who are very, “We don’t know...just do what you think is best.” All we did was give Tim a very vague timeline and a date lol. So he and his wife got to the venue at 2:00pm
took a few quick shots and whisked away the dresses/jewelry and took pictures with those. Then at some point I was told it was time for first looks/bridal pictures. This is where it’s like magic happened. I had no idea that they were there taking pictures. My husband and I were in such a love bubble and Tim and Audrey were so professional that it was like we were in sync with each other that we barely had to speak with them. Tim and Audrey were so good that my husband and I were just able to exist in our love and Tim and Audrey were able to do their thing. We completely trusted them! It also helps that you can feel their love and respect for one another. It was so stress free! Even my husband was so calm in front of the camera! They kept us on track with the time as well. We would have stayed out there for hours just taking pictures lol. Aside from some posed shots later I honestly don’t remember them taking pictures. They were so unobtrusive and blended so well into the background that we just didn’t notice! Told you...magic! No...not magic...just wonderful professionalism! They know their stuff! They are just the best! Total professionals! But not in a stuffy way at all! They also did our wedding booth which was a HIT! You could text the pictures to your phone!! We also got our pictures back in less than a week!! I was so shocked by that! I’d always heard stories of it taking weeks to get your photos. We were on our honeymoon and got them so that was awesome to be able to look at them and go back to that day! The pictures are GORGEOUS!! He didn’t over edit them! They look like us on our absolute best day!! They will be our go to photographers for all of our life events. Can not recommend them enough!! Thank you Tim and Audrey!! Y’all are a class act and we know you will go far in all your endeavors! So happy we met y’all! -

Phocus Photography are phenomenal.
They phocus on getting to know couples individually and together. There are so down to earth and kind, that it feels you’ve been friends with them for a long time. While at the same time they are so professional and creative, they capture every emotion and memory needed to make you feel you were there in person even if you were not. I love these photographers. Highly recommended. -

The experience I had with Tim from Phocus Photography as a whole was very good from start to finish. I had my wedding planned for June 2018, so it’s been a few months! He was more than happy to communicate via video and phone. Which was extremely helpful for me since I live on the opposite coast! On the first video meeting he was very professional and to the point. He asked all the necessary questions, helped me get an idea of his photography packages, and laid out the guidelines of the contract. Within a few days I contacted him again to sign on the line to have him as my photographer. Payment was smooth as well.
When the wedding day arrived I have to say that I greatly appreciated him being there. No only was he taking photographs and guiding the photo sessions with such grace, he was also helping me with anything I might have needed. Like finding people I wanted to speak with while I was glued to a chair getting my hair curled to perfection. I greatly appreciated his ability to keep with the schedule as well. He also has a nice charisma about him that many of my guests enjoyed. It’s always better to have a photographer that is comfortable around people in my opinion!
After the wedding, it did take a bit longer to get my photos than I had anticipated since I picked the package that included the photo book. Personally, I really was not a big fan of that experience. Tim created a photo book online with about roughly 50 images he selected himself. It was a lot of back and forth in emails until I had the book just the way I wanted since I was no where near him. When I had it right, I then had to slim it down to the proposed 25 images to fit what I had already paid for... which he informed me anything past that would be extra. Although I still question why even create the book to be more than what I paid for in the first place? That experience had me feeling a bit discouraged in him. Another problem with the book was that I had no access to the photographs until the book was completed.. making my photo book not really personalized at all. I think the book just shouldn’t have been an option in the first place with that much hassle.
In the end I did get over 400 beautiful photographs of memories that will now last forever, a quality book that I get to cherish (even if it was a pain) and I got to work with a very kind professional man. Despite the fact that I had my issue I understand that we are still human after all. I love seeing him and his wife continue to grow into their passion on social media and I hope he continues in his success. -
