5 Star A Million Times Over

I recently had the privilege of working with Brittney Stockdale, the manager of Phil's Catering, for a client's wedding, and I can't praise her and her team enough. From the very beginning, Brittney's dedication to making the event perfect was evident. She was incredibly responsive, always available, and paid close attention to every detail, whether through countless emails, texts, or phone calls. Her attentive and helpful approach made the planning process smooth and stress-free.

The entire Phil's Catering staff was an absolute delight to work with. Their friendliness, willingness to assist, and overall professionalism were truly outstanding.

And, of course, the food provided by Phil's Catering was exceptional. It not only met but exceeded our expectations, leaving a lasting impression on all the guests.

I genuinely can't express enough how remarkable the experience was working with Brittney and her team at Phil's Catering. I would choose to collaborate with them a million times over, and I wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone in need of exceptional catering for their special events. Phenomenal Food!!

The options we chose were chicken in a lemon basil sauce and the tri tip!
We had mashed potatoes and bread as well! It was very lovely, and everyone enjoyed the food! Great communicators, flexible with what we wanted, and made great food! Such a great decision to choose them!

Phil's Catering did an amazing job at our Wedding!

Phil’s Catering did an AMAZING job at our wedding!

Brittney from Phil’s is a wonderful person and very great to communicate with. There were some questionable reviews of Phil’s that I had to ask her about and she very graciously explained what happened and what she’d been doing to improve the business. That spoke volumes to us and made us really trust her. We ALSO LOVED their food! My husband and I went to a food tasting at their restaurant in Atascadero and we LOVED EVERYTHING they served us! We were so excited to hire them immediately and we could not stop raving about how amazing our food was going to be at our wedding!

Fast forward to the wedding, EVERYONE RAVED ABOUT THE FOOD AS WELL! It’s been a couple months since our wedding and every guest that has spoken to me since has talked about how delicious the food was. They specifically called out their appetizers - we did their braised meatballs, arancini risotto cakes, and goat cheese crostini. My friends legit said they were fighting other guests at the entrance of the wine room (where the appetizers were coming out) to grab as many arancini balls they could. And everyone loved the pasta bar!

One other great thing Phil’s did was execute on our vision for a late night ramen bar! They were the only vendor we spoke to that was very excited about the idea and had a great solution and way to get it going! And during our late night ramen bar, we had a power outage. Even with that outage, they delivered and the guests loved the ramen!

There were a couple of mistakes that I think future couples should take note of to avoid these things from happening. First, we thought we were very clear about what services we needed from them months prior to the wedding. However, a week before our wedding, Phil took a look at our details/timeline and decided to add additional staff to the invoice. This was a sudden cost since we already budgeted based on what was given to us when we signed the contract. Since we signed, the number of staff and hours hadn’t changed until the last minute which left us stuck paying money we didn’t anticipate. Another issue was we had two Gluten Free guests that we ordered special meals for but Phil’s completely forgot to bring those meals for them. But I do think that Brittney handled both of these well and again speaks to how much she cares for her clients!

Overall I really recommend Phil’s Catering to any couple getting married in the Paso Robles area! They do a great job! I give a lot of credit to Brittney and her team. Their food is truly exceptional. Thank you Phil’s Catering!!! We loved you and so did all of our guests!

Hire them for all your central coast catering needs!

Even after several months we still have guests commenting on how good the food was at our wedding. For dinner we chose tri tip, salmon, and polenta for the main courses with roasted garlic whipped potatoes and salad as the sides. We also did bruschetta, meatballs, and shrimp cocktail cups as passed appetizers for our cocktail hour. All of the food tasted just as good on the wedding day as it did at the tasting. They were very considerate of my husband and I and made our plates for us to make sure we ate. They even left some of the passed appetizers for us to make sure we got to eat those. We also used them for bartending services and our guests commented on how efficient the bar service was and how good the drinks were. I would highly recommend Phil’s Ctaering for anyone looking for a caterer on the central coast!

Just delicious!

First off, the food is delicious. We had the chicken and tri tip with a bunch of sides like potato salad and rolls. SO YUMMY. Secondly, they’re SO friendly!! We worked with Mary and she was a doll. So kind and happy. I will always recommend Phil’s for catering!

Amazing food, fun and enjoyable staff

We had a great experience with Phil’s Catering as our wedding reception caterer. They were professional, organized, and fun to work with. The staff was courteous and enjoyable. The caterer will play a big role in the experience of your guests and the overall success of your wedding “event”, and you definitely want things to go smoothly. Patty (the manager from Phil’s) was amazing. She had a good relationship with our wedding coordinator. She did a site visit the day before and answered all of our questions and completely put us at ease. The food was better than expected and we received numerous complements from guests. We did a family style dinner. We had poached salmon with dill sauce, vegetables with a bechamel sauce, polenta, and salad. It really was amazing. We went a bit heavy on the comfort (two creamy sauces!) but they were not overwhelming and the salmon was perfect. The staff was very helpful with cleanup and with organizing the rentals after dinner. Every aspect of the experience was great, and I highly recommend working with them.

Great experience!

My husband and I hired Phil’s Catering for our wedding this past June and it was one of the best decisions we made. Phil’s is incredibly professional and the food is amazing. All of our guests raved about how good the food was and many people went back for seconds! Also, Phil’s is extremely professional and organized, which allowed my husband and I to truly enjoy and soak in our entire reception. I could not recommend Phil’s enough! You will not be disappointed because the service, food, and professionalism are unmatched.

Fantastic to work with!!

We were the Day-of Coordinators for a a wedding and we worked closely with Phil's Catering. I cannot express how impressed I am with them overall! They had a recent sudden tragedy where one of the owners passed away. Despite that, they were still operating at 100% and doing an AMAZING job too! We communicated with them frequently to help out our bride and they were always extremely quick to reply back, beyond flexible and helpful with coming up with suggestions when hiccups occurred, and the day-of they knocked it out of the park. They arrived early, set up extremely quickly, and were professional. Their staff was friendly and helpful at every turn and their food was to die for! The guests at the wedding seems to feel the same way and were also impressed with their staff. From a vendors point of view, they are all around an amazing company to work with. I would highly recommend them for any weddings we do in the future!

Incredibly delicious food and professional. Very responsive and helpful through the planning process

Working with Phil’s catering was honestly very straightforward. Gary answers all questions straight to the point and is very upfront about options available and costs of services so there is no surprises at the end of your event. Excellent communication when needed but otherwise everything was handled once the guest count was submitted and menu was chosen. He was even able to provide some suggestions for our theme and style of food we were aiming for. On top of all of that, the food was absolutely delicious. Sometimes the tasting dishes are much much better than what is actually served at your event, but that was not the case with Phil’s catering at our wedding. Everything was just as delicious as when my husband and I did our initial taste test months in advance. Gary worked with our budget and provided options for us and all in all was very pleasant to work with. I would 100% recommend anyone looking for high class food to check them out!!!

We got SO MANY compliments from guests about Phils! We chose them after having a great experience as guests at another wedding and we are so glad we did! The food was delicious, even our pickiest eaters complimented everything! Shelly was so sweet and attentive; they brought appetizers and water up a huge hill to our wedding party who were doing pictures and plates with special requests were delivered to me and my groom which allowed us to enjoy everything before the excitement of guests began. Shelly really did make our day so much brighter! This is one of few catering companies our venue allows and we can see why. They were so professional and kind, and left everything spotless! Chris was a joy to work with in the planning process and was helpful when we added vegetarian plates last minute, which we know must be a pain. Overall, we cannot say enough good things about Phil's food and staff! THANK YOU!!!

I am so glad that I went with Phil's catering for my wedding! We had tri-tip and salmon that were both cooked on site, and it was deeeeeelicious! Even my guests commented that it was the best wedding food they've ever had. Communication with Phil's was easy and fast, and service on the day of was top-notch. Johnna even brought me and my new husband our own plates of food so that we didn't have to go through the buffet line. It all felt very personalized and special; you could tell they really wanted us all to be taken care of. We also got all of our rentals through Phil's as well (linens, dishes, glassware, etc.), which made it super easy and more affordable then going through 2 different vendors. I would definitely choose Phil's again and highly recommend them to anyone in need of catering!

I cannot say enough good things about Phil's Catering. To give you an idea of the quality of service and food, we are still getting compliments a month later! It was so easy working with Chris, their Events Director. She was always available to answer any questions we had and we easily made adjustments to our menu and timeline. The day of Banquet Manager, Johnna is nothing short of amazing. She was so professional and extremely attentive. She made sure the wedding party had appetizers during pictures so we didn't pass out and she was there giving an upstanding level of service all the way until the end. Her and her staff were just all around awesome. The price was good and the food was even better. We would recommend Phil's Catering any time!

Truly amazing service. The food was amazing, the staff was professional and quick to respond to me when I needed to fine tune certain details. They were exceptional and took care of everything. We can't even begin to explain how delicious the food was! Our guests are still raving about how yummy the food was and everyone kept going back for seconds and thirds because it was that delicious! The food at our wedding was amazing! All of our guests raved about it. On top of that, the service staff were incredibly sweet and totally on top of it! Such an amazing value for the price! It was a pleasure working with Phil’s Catering during the wedding planning process. First of all, the food was amazing! Our menu consisted of chicken marsala, apricot-glazed pork loin, olive oil and garlic whipped potatoes, white-wine sautéed green beans, and homemade focaccia bread. YUM! Not only did our dinner taste incredible, it looked amazing too….which is not usually the case when food is served buffet-style to over 150 people.
Even before the event, Phil’s Catering did everything they could to make sure that our wedding went smoothly. The staff responded quickly to emails and phone calls, price quotes were provided promptly, and my fiancée and I were able to try all of the food ahead of time. Bottom line, I would highly recommend Phil’s Catering to anyone planning an event on the Central Coast!

Thank you Phil's Catering. The food at our wedding was amazing. We received so many compliments on the food and the service staff was fabulous. I loved the chimichurri chicken and tri tip. Thank you for being so flexible and accommodating. We made several changes throughout the planning process including a last minute change and Gary was able to make the changes so easily. Working with Gary at Phil's Catering for my daughters wedding was a great experience! We changed our mind so many times on the menu and Gary was as accommodating as ever to all of our requests! Gary's Catering Manager on the day of the event (Kristin) was MORE than knowledgable and accommodating. She and her serving staff were thorough and organized and had everything done, served and refilled before any of our guests noticed things were in need of attention. Not only did they all do a fantastic job, but each one of the serving staff were hard workers and genuinely good, kind people!

Excellent, delicious food! Our beach wedding was a couple of months ago, and guests still comment to us on how much they enjoyed the food (we selected a menu that included tri-tip,chicken in a basil cream sauce, and gourmet mac n cheese). The catering coordinators were professional and friendly - great customer care.

Oh Phil's Catering. I love you so much. Phil's has catered my sister's wedding and my cousin's. The food has been superb every time. But when it is your own wedding, you pay much more attention to all the other aspects of service. Not only was the food absolutely delicious, I will post our favorites below, but the staff is what I will always remember. They were wonderful. They were helpful, cheerful and on top of everything. You asked, they handled it, period. Thank you Phil's Catering for all your work!

Phil's Catering did a great job at our wedding. The prices were very reasonable and the team was very flexible. The food was delicious and the staff was attentive. They made sure we were taken care of and that we ate while the wedding was going on. They also made accomidations for our guests and provided table service for certain items even though we had a buffet. They were very efficient and I was extremely pleased with everything they did for us from the rental to the food to the servie.

Phil’s Catering had AMAZING food…. Our guests kept going back for more and the next day I was hoping to find leftovers but it was all gone. They took care of appetizers (3), entrée’s (tri-tip & chicken), salads, biscuits (it was BBQ, rustic wedding if you couldn’t tell. The servers were on top of everything from bartending and serving my specialty drink to picking up plates as soon as the guests were finished and setting out our homemade BBQ sauce at the end for our guests to take with them as they left. Our coordinator was super stoked on them and I was thoroughly impressed that they made her job that much easier. I will recommend them to all my friends in the future.

Amazing service!!!! From the moment they showed up they were professional and went above and beyond to make my day perfect! The communication was great they kept us informed of what was going on at all times. They really took care of everything so I could enjoy my wedding. The food was delicious! They cooked it on site and the tri-tip and bbq chicken were so yummy. The staff was very helpful and the bartender was great! We ordered all of our rentals through Phil's and everything was exactly how we wanted. It was a great value and we didn't even do a tasting before hand. Our guests raved about how good the food was.

Phil's Catering did an excellent job catering for our wedding. Many of the guests commented on how great the food was and my husband and I agree 100%. We loved the grilled tri tip, chicken, pasta and mashed potatoes. They were great about getting back to us promptly throughout the planning process. Gary came up with an awesome menu - we didn't need to make any changes to the original menu he sent us!

Phil's did a wonderful job catering our wedding of 70 people- the food was delicious and nicely presented. The staff (a caterer and also a bartender) were very professional and easy to work with. We appreciated Phil's being accepting of not having a tip jar out for the bartender, although he did a wonderful job it was nice to not have to worry about friends and family feeling obligated to tip for beer and wine service.

Gary at Phil's was awesome! So helpful. Went through so many revisions(mostly because of me) with me and even helped me with the rentals (tables and chairs and whatnot) which I had thought I would have to do through a third party. One of the lowest cost caterers we talked to too.

I used Phil's catering for my wedding in Paso Robles at a vineyard. From the tasting to the actual event, the food was superb. Gary, the owner was highly recommended by my wedding planner and it was easy to see why. His staff was very friendly. While I hear most brides eat anything at dinner, I finished my whole plate! I would recommend Phil's Catering in a heartbeat!

Amazing catering company!! Gary is super responsive and helpful and was quick to accommodate to my ever changing plans. All the staff were professional and SUPER HELPFUL! Our banquet manager Sheila was amazing and helped me figure out all the last minute details I hadn't even thought of! The food was a hit and I had so many compliments on how great everything was... especially the Tri-Tip... YUM!! On top of all this the value is UNBEATABLE... honestly I was shocked! Thank you so much to all the staff for being a part of our wedding and helping in any way possible!

I would highly recommend hiring Phil's Catering! Right from the beginning they were a pleasure to work with. Gary was wonderful during our tasting and answered all our questions (believe me, I had a lot!) . We planned our wedding from Orange County and Gary made it so easy on us!

The banquet staff was very professional, took such great care of us and really gave us a personal experience. Our banquet manager, Chris, gave us VIP service and even brought us some appetizers during our photos! We were starving and so thankful for her thoughtfulness! I heard many compliments about how friendly the bartender was and my sister was very impressed that one of the servers sliced my little nephew's tri tip for him without hesitation!

The food was wonderful! My husband and I made sure we had time to enjoy it and are still getting compliments from guests about how great it was. My mom is still craving their crab cakes! They also handled all our rentals and set up...everything went very smooth and looked great!

Last, but not least, the price was fantastic for such great quality food and service! My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better fit! Thanks Gary, Chris and your amazing staff for making our day so wonderful!

My husband and I are from Alaska and were married in San Luis Obispo, CA on September 22nd, 2012. We were looking for a full service caterer that was easy to work with, affordable, and offered Santa Maria Style BBQ. Phil’s Catering gave us everything we were looking for! In researching other caterers, I didn’t find a caterer in the San Luis Obispo area that could beat their prices for not only food, but for the services they also offered. During the planning process Gary worked with our budget and answered every one of our fifty million questions promptly and professionally.

We elected to have a buffet style dinner with tri-tip, tequila chicken, roasted veggies, fresh fruit, mashed potatoes, and sour dough bread. The food was excellent and the meat was grilled on site! Our guests could not get enough of the tequila chicken! The staff was also amazing; Chris was our Banquet Manager and was everything we could have wished for. She took charge and everything we asked of her and her staff was taken care of. Everyone looked professional; wearing company uniforms, had great attitudes, and were very accommodating.

If you’re looking for an excellent caterer in the San Luis Obispo CA area then use Phil’s Catering! My husband and I could not have asked for anything better!

I would recommend Phil's catering to anyone in the future for any large event. The food and service were amazing. I got comments from a good half of our guests who told me how good the food was.

They organized and set up all of the rentals for us. The staff sent to our wedding was awesome, very friendly and professional. They did the set up exactly as I wanted them to and they were there and prepared on time. They even had an extra table cloth for my cake table!

We received exceptional food, service and prices. I highly recommend Phil's catering to any bride and groom on the Central Coast, (my husband would tell you the exact same thing except he wasn't there for all of the set up and work that went in before the wedding).

Gary and his staff were a real pleasure to work with. Gary had us over to his private kitchen for our tasting and that was a really good experience in itself, the food was so good. All of our guests were raving about the food and the staff was so good with their interaction with our guests. The banquet manager took good care of us and made sure we never had to lift a finger. the bartender was so friendly and had all of our guests entertained when they went up to the bar to drink and socialize.

When my husband and I were looking to hire a caterer for our wedding, we were looking for something delicious and affordable and Phil’s Catering gave us everything we wanted. We went food tasting at Phil’s Catering and we fell in love. We went with a buffet style dinner – we thought this would go great with our golf course wedding. It was fantastic and the buffet was beautiful and classy! We ordered the prime rib and the grilled chicken and YUM!!! It was delicious. The event manager and all of the servers were friendly and very courteous. If we had to do it again – we would choose Phil’s Catering every time. Additionally, we were able to get all of our linens through Phil’s Catering, so this helped take the burden off of us. We recommend Phil’s 100%!!!

Gary worked with me during the whole planning process, answering my questions, helping me refine my menu, and helping me figure out the best way to stay under budget. The week of the wedding, he passed the baton to Cathy, the banquet manager, and the whole process was flawless. And since I was planning from across the country, I didn’t have the opportunity to do a tasting beforehand. But holy cow, the food was delicious!!! My husband’s one wedding request was tri-tip, which they BBQed on site. The sides were also great; I especially recommend the grilled vegetables if you like a little heat! We had a slight problem with the rentals we originally signed up for, in which I canceled them but they showed up anyway. Gary was very professional with the situation; he took the blame for the mistake, and was very nice about it, even though it meant his company may lose some money. I honestly can't imagine anything they could have done better!

Just when you think your about to give up! Phil's catering is there! After numerious go rounds getting quotes from all over, Phil's catering answered our prayers! Phil's catering was exceptional! EVERYONE at my wedding came up to either my groom or me or my parents and told us how good the food was. People still call me and tell me how good it was and it's 2 months after my wedding! We had a barbeque and the chicken was moist and delicious as well as the tri-tip, and everyone loved the vegetarian dish - the caterer actually had to pull the spoon out of the dish because everyone was eating it and there wouldn't have been enough for the vegetarians! That's how good it was!

Phil's catering was very professional both determining the menu prior to the wedding and on the day of!

The best part is that they were the most inexpensive caterer I could find, but turned out to be the best! And for a bride on a budget, you couldn't ask for more!

I really loved working with Gary from Phils. He was so nice and helped me work out a great menu! He was great at responding to all of my many questions, and I had a TON of questions. I planned my wedding from Oregon and Gary definitely made it very easy on me. The staff was also wonderful! Our banquet manager was so nice and really served us well. Our dinner was buffet style and our banquet manager served us and was very tentative and made sure we got plenty of food and drinks! The only negative thing I have to say is that the barley pilaf that I ordered was a bit disappointing but overall the food was great and I received many many compliments, everyone left full and satisfied.

After MANY catering tastings in the San Luis Obispo area we found that Phil's Catering is the best way to go! They are incredibly professional, will help you create whatever meal you want and with an UNBEATABLE price. My guests were RAVING about the food!! The steaks we had were huge and delicious! The appetizers were incredible and they also set up a stationary appetizer table up filled with meats, cheeses, etc...The service was great. I had a pretty high guests list and Phil's Catering was half the price as all the other caterers I tried. BEST caterer in the area hands down!!

Phil's Catering is hands down the Best Value for the AMAZING food you get!
We went with the BBQ on site option and people were going back for seconds for some of that Tri-Tip. Best tri-tip I've had ever!
Patti (Catering Mgr) was just amazing. She was engaged from the first walkthrough until the end of the night on our wedding day. She was great to work with and entire staff was very professional. They took care of it all, early setup/cleanup/hauling of trash.. etc..

Thank you to the entire team for making our day very special and giving our guests some amazing food!

We chose Phil's catering at kind of the last minute for our wedding. It was a small wedding of only 30 people, but we were treated as well as I would have expected for a large event of 300 or more. Gary was easy to get hold of, great to talk to, and made excellent suggestions (even at the last minute) to make our event terrific. He even coordinated all of the rentals that we needed from Taylor Rents in San Luis (with a discount too). We had a BBQ brought out to our home for the wedding (also a rental from Phil's) and the food was cooked right there. All of the guests raved about the food.

I gave only a score of 4 for professionalism for two reasons - first, the chef/cook remained dressed in a white t-shirt with an apron on for the entire service - even after the cooking was done at the BBQ. We greatly appreciated him helping out Connie with the service, but it would have been nice if he had put a nicer shirt on when he did so. The second reason was when one of our guests spilled some champagne, I went to him looking for a towel and he gave me one. As the groom, I expected that he might actually come over and clean the spill himself.

Overall, the food was excellent and our server, Connie, was wonderful. Gary was excellent to deal with and we would use them again for another event.

Phil's Catering did a great job at our wedding! We also used their services for our rehearsal dinner which was also great! The food was delicious and they have so many types of food to chose from. We did Italian at the rehearsal dinner and tri-tip and chicken at the wedding. Guests from both events loved the food! They were also very helpful with ordering other items we needed for the event, such as a dance floor, linens and ice trailer. This made it easy to just work with one person. The website has answers to many questions on the FAQ section. Sometimes I felt as though they were annoyed with some of my questions but in the end everything was great! They also have pretty affordable rates compared to other caters in the area.

Phil's was great. Everyone I interacted with from the company was extremely friendly and helpful. They answered all of my questions promptly, worked with me on any special needs or requests I had and were successful in helping to create a very classy wedding atmosphere. I was very pleased with their service. At the last minute we decided to have Phil's cater the rehearsal dinner, in addition to the reception, and they were happy to do this. Food was delicious and the catering staff was AMAZING! We had Patti as our banquet manager and she is absolutely amazing. So warm and down to earth and you can tell her staff respects her. The bar service was so friendly to our guest as well! We had tri tip and chicken with masked potatoes and some other sides and it was perfectly cooked and our guest wanted to go back for more! Good experience, a few suggestions to help improve

Phil's Catering was a pleasure to work with during our planning process. They were quick to respond to our inquiry at first then communication started getting spotty the months leading up to our wedding regarding menu changes; I think staffing shortages have been a challenge for many industries. However, they were able to accommodate our requests and executed the dinner buffet service for our wedding well. They had many delicious options available to accommodate our guests' numerous dietary restrictions. We felt at peace the weeks leading up to the wedding.

The passed appetizers were delicious! We had 120 guests and sadly the resounding feedback we got about our buffet was that there was not enough food. Still, the staff was very professional and cheerful throughout our event and it felt well worth the price point. I would recommend Phil's Catering for wedding events in Santa Barbara and it might be worth it to add about 10 guests to the count in order to ensure there is enough food.

The food at our wedding was fantastic! I've heard that guests never remember the food unless it was awful, but in our case everyone raved about the food and it's still one of the biggest things they are talking about weeks after the wedding. Sheila was our head server, and she was incredible! She served us at the head table so we didn't have to get up, and made it so that we actually got to sit and eat our meal! She even packed up some cake for us and had forks set aside to send to our hotel room that night. It was sometimes difficult to get a hold of Gary to organize the rentals, but he's the chef so it didn't bother me that much and his food was so perfect both at the tasting and at the wedding that it's all I cared about!!

This is a tough review. The service we were provided on the day of our wedding was 5 stars all the way. Wendy and her staff really gave us and our guests a wonderful experience and great food. The problem however came with the man running the show, Gary. It’s not that he’s the worst, but it is quite apparent he has his business in mind. Most conversations with Gary did not feel as genuine as we were accustomed to seeing though out our wedding vendors. Additional charges became the norm with charges such as 40 dollars for moving a bar, etc. You should just know what you’re getting into.

We used Phils for our wedding at Santa Margarita Ranch. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, Chef Andy was very nice. The bartenders were great, even helped me get the red wine out of my dress.
But that doesn't out shine the 2 bad things that happened. My credit card was double charged a week apart from each other. Which maxed it out and over draft my account. Not to mention it took more than a week to get a credit back on my card from Phil's. Don't trust them with your credit card!
And the second. Many of my guests never got any cake. When asked what happened to the cake here are some of the responses I got:
stray cats ate it, it was dried up and it was thrown away, there wasn't any left, I didn't leave any boxes for left overs, etc etc... Truth is I think it was just thrown away and no one would fess up to it. That cake was for 150 people. I talked to about 40 of my guest who said they never were offered any so there should have been a ton left over. I don't know what happened.

I don't think that after my experience I would recommend them which is sad because I really enjoyed the staff that we had for the wedding.

We hired Phil's Catering for our September 2021 wedding. We had a fine experience to start: menu creation, email communication, even an in person tasting. Then wedding day came and it was a COMPLETE disaster and embarrassment.
1. The staff was late so no preceremony drinks were set up like intended.
2. The staff showed complete disrespect to our wedding planner and denied her when she asked for assistance
3. Disorganized serving of our family style dinner where some guests did not receive a complete entree.
4. They served moldy bread that we had to pull from everyone's table. When we addressed this with them, they knew it was because the bread was stored in bags that were sitting in a hot room, yet they still served them at our wedding.
5. Our steak was served completely raw and sitting in blood
6. We ordered Chicken Marsala but they forgot the Marsala sauce at the kitchen so they served dry and bland chicken, which is not what we paid for.
7. The staff was drinking alcohol from our bar, eating our desserts, and giving back massages to each other by our firepits in the reception area.

The night went so horribly that our planner pulled her future brides from using this catering company and will no longer work with them. Our venue also will not be allowing them to be a vendor on their property. And the catering coordinator ended up quitting after the staff performed so horribly. We requested and received a partial refund for such poor service, but it does not take away from the horrible memories they provided on our wedding day. If you want good food and good service, look elsewhere.

They sent the wrong food, and the food they did bring was not enough for everyone. The staff was never around and was even found making out. Gary was not Apologetic.
