Awesome DJ Team

Philip and Koa were really awesome to work with. Our original DJ had to cancel due to a family emergency and put us in touch with Philip and Koa who made the transition so smooth. I was so appreciative of them for taking on our wedding and making it a blast. They were extremely responsive and professional while also being very personable. The music was perfect and they played everything I wanted to hear when I wanted to hear it, everything just flowed so well. They were a pleasure to work with and I'm really appreciative of them helping to make our day perfect!

Saved the Day at the Last Minute

Our original DJ canceled two weeks before our wedding. We reach out to Philip and team the same day and they were very responsive. We ended up booking them that same day. They were perfect for our wedding and played all the songs we requested and kept the music going all night. I was worried about the ceremony music flowing smoothly, but they did great. Very reasonable price!

Goes the extra mile!

Phillip and Koa (husband and wife) went above and beyond at our wedding! They did a beautiful job fading the music in and out. They videoed all the traditional dances and emailed them for us to have as memories. I highly recommend them to DJ your event!

Great dj! Great music selections!

Philip was wonderful, the communication from initial meetings and booking was great! He was very flexible when covid caused us to reschedule twice. Rain on our reception day caused us to be about 45 minutes late but Philip was easily reached and quick to respond to my calls and messages regarding our arrival time. He let me know things were fine and guest were mingling and enjoying the photo booth! Even checked to make sure some of my decor was properly set up. His wife took videos of some spur of the moment dance moments and they emailed those to me the next day! I’m so pleased with the flow of events with our reception and would most definitely recommend Philip!

Fantastic Dj!

We highly recommend Philip Mobile Dj, they did a great job at working with us through the whole process and making sure things went smoothly day of. They played a good variety of music during the reception to keep everyone happy and dancing. They were able to provide set up for an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. Any questions I could have had or areas where I needed recommendations they were there to help without hesitation. We couldn’t have asked for a better Dj.

Dance Floor All Night

Philip kept everyone on the dance floor all night at my reception! The choice of songs and when he plated them was perfect! He was so professional and always responded quickly to my questions. He even has a link you can provide to your guests before the wedding where they can request songs they want to hear. He did an excellent job and I am 100% pleased with the service he provided and how much fun he made my wedding! I had so many people message me the next day and tell me it was the most fun wedding they have ever attended and I owe a lot of that to him! He also has excellent quality equipment that he uses for the ceremony and reception because we never had trouble hearing him over the speaker or the music. Also he provided sound for our ceremony and I have been to so many weddings where people say they cannot hear the preacher or the couple and I did not have that complaint from anyone thanks to the quality of his sound equipment. If you need someone for your wedding, you will not be disappointed if you hire him!

Amazing Experience!

Philip and his wife Koa were amazing! They have been a pleasure to work with from the initial meeting to the end of the reception. Every song on my "must play" list was played, and every song for those "special moments" were cut absolutely perfect. Phil was a great MC as well and is very adaptive to our vision. Highly, highly recommend!

Hire them!!

Philip Mobile DJ and his team were wonderful to work with!! They were efficient in setup and tear down, the music selection was fantastic, and they did a phenomenal job of providing a sound system for our ceremony - so many guests complimented the quality of sound we were able to get with our outdoor venue!!

Would hire them again for any event!

I'm not one to really review things/people unless it was really good or really bad and let me tell you... They are AMAZING!!!!! This was a destination wedding for me and we had a good amount of changes last minute that they handled no problem. I forgot my questions for the newly wed game and on the spot they pulled some up and it was a blast. I hired Philip Mobile DJ for my DJ services but they were really good at pretty much coordinating day of as well. I didn't have a coordinator and they made sure everything was moving on schedule and they kept the dance floor popping. I don't think our dance floor was ever empty once it opened up.
Their selection of music was fire as well. I don't know if it was there personal preferences or if they catered to the crowd but man they had my 50 year old aunts and uncles on the floor too because they played some older hits as well as new ones. they also took requests which was great because when Lizzo- Truth Hurts came on I ran from the back and started screaming the lyrics with my girls. It was a great time! Thank you so much guys you were amazing!

As Good As It Gets!

Philip was the DJ for my wedding on 10/12/19 and he was SPECTACULAR! Not only did he play the songs that I had asked for in advance, he was also able to make a few last minute changes that I requested the day of with absolutely no problem. He did a wonderful job as an MC as well, and had all of our guests cracking up when we played the Shoe Game. Philip was professional, reasonably priced, and great to work with. 10/10 would recommend!

Incredible DJ and day of coordination

Philip and Koa went above and beyond anything and everything I could have asked for in our wedding. They came to our rehearsal Friday night and walked everyone through, and were such calming presences Saturday as I was worried about small things going wrong. All I had to do was look in their general direction and they were ready and willing to help me in whatever I needed. Could not recommend them enough!!!!

Amazing experience and I highly recommend!!

From beginning to end our experience was great! Quick with responding and great with listening to what we wanted for our wedding! Philip played exactly what we wanted but also added in a great mix that has everyone dancing! They made our reception the party and celebration we wanted! I couldn’t be happier with the dj we chose! Wonderful DJ

Philip Mobile DJ did a wonderful job with our outdoor wedding! They came early and set up in the two different places where we were having our ceremony and reception. They were very flexible, especially since we got started 20-30 minutes late! They made sure that we had enough time to fit in everything we had planned. We didn't hire an event planner or wedding coordinator, and Philip Mobile DJ offered to help keep us on track and on schedule, so they went above and beyond.

Wonderful!

Philip and his wife, Koa, were fantastic to work with! They were both incredibly kind and professional, and they helped make mine and my husband’s wedding day everything we dreamed it would be! Picking songs for different parts of the wedding was a breeze because of them. They provided us with a list of popular and suitable songs for all the little moments of the wedding that I hadn’t even thought of, such as the cake cutting. We recommend Philip Mobile DJ to anyone getting married and looking for an awesome DJ!

Very professional. Very personable. Lively and current. We had a blast on the dance floor!

We booked this DJ couple for our daughters wedding. After our wedding planner walked out during the wedding, they stepped up and also filled in coordinating. Above and beyond. The dance floor was rocking! They made it so fun!!!! Thank you guys for saving the day!!!!

Philip and his wife were AMAZING. My husband and I got married in the Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg - we live 8 hours away, so planning our wedding was not exactly easy. Philip was always prompt with his responses and gave great advice when it came to picking certain songs. He played the music for both our ceremony and reception. The timing of the ceremony music was absolutely spot on, and and all of our guests had nothing but good things to say about the music selection for the reception. He kept the party going! Between the quality of service matched with the amazing pricing, I honestly can't say enough good things about this company!

Philip and his wife DJ’d our wedding reception on August 11, 2018. We had a large wedding with 25 in the bridal party and 350 guests. I can’t say enough good things about their business. They were professional, easy to get in touch with, and super easy to talk to. They have forms to fill out to make sure every detail, song, and dance are perfect. They kept our reception running smoothly from beginning to end! We would recommend them to be your DJ a million times over!

So everything was perfect. They played every song at the exact time we needed. They kept everyone lively and it made it so much more fun. They are very personable and easy to deal with. They gave us there number and any changes we wanted to make they just said “sure thing” and made it happen. Honestly if you want a good business for a good price then these guys are the place to go.

Philip Mobile DJ was great to work with. We didn't get to meet Philip, but his wife Koa and her assistant were very professional, friendly, and accommodating. They adhered to all of our song requests and lists, and the sound quality was great, both indoor and outdoor. They played a lot of crowd pleasers at the reception and it kept the atmosphere fun. So thankful to have had Philip Mobile DJ. They were referred to me by a coworker, and they were awesome. They were helpful and made the process super easy. I'm not typically one to write reviews but honestly we had such an amazing experience with Philip--- we got compliments all night about how awesome our dj was, and we couldn't have agreed more. It was the perfect night and all of our guests were out of their seats-- from our one year old nephew to even our grandparents! We're stilling getting compliments a week later and he was a pro at helping the night run smoothly! Please don't kill yourself trying to pay for one of the outrageously priced djs in the area- you're not going to be disappointed with Philip and you get so much more than what you pay for. From bride to bride, seriously, you're going to be so glad you picked him!

My now husband and I were planning our wedding remotely. We live in Virginia and our wedding was in Eastern TN. Philip Mobile was an amazing DJ. Phil was the DJ for our wedding May 2017. We couldn't be have asked for a better experience! I didn't have to worry the slightest about if my music would be correct because he had it all handled! He also helped my reception go so smoothly and kept the party going all night! I recommend this DJ to any person looking for someone to DJ an event. Philip is very easy to work with and is very flexible with anything you may need. He did an amazing job for my recent wedding in May and was very reasonable with price and time. Very friendly and personable as well. We had dinner with them one night and got to know them! Philip and his wife, Koa, were an amazing team to work with. They went above and beyond for our special day, which included adjusting to last minute changes. He announced all the special moments so our guests and the photographer knew what was getting ready to happen. He even counted down to the New Year with all our guests! The music selection was a great mix of slow songs and also those that were upbeat and kept our guests dancing well past midnight! From the first time talking with him, he was very willing to work with our budget to ensure we had an amazing night at an affordable price. He truly has a passion for his work and it shows! Philip did such an amazing job at our wedding! So professional and accommodating for my very specific ceremony/cocktail song list, and then played a great variety of party music for the reception. (Bonus points for the 90's music!) Great setup for our outdoor ceremony/indoor reception. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Very reasonably priced, too. Philip was great to work with! I had to do everything over the phone and emails since I live in Chattanooga and he always responded quick and very helpful! Philip and his wife Koa were the DJ's at our outdoor wedding in July. They were just perfect and their price was VERY reasonable! They met with me a few times before the wedding to assure that we were on the same page and emailed me back immediately every time I emailed them (which was a lot!). They were also able to accommodate our outdoor wedding by providing wireless speakers and showing up early to the ceremony to set them up. They has a good mix of songs we requested, songs guests requested and dance music. Everyone was on the dance floor throughout the night! We expected most of our friends out there but, since the music was such a good mix even our parents and my grandma got out there! We highly recommend using Philip Mobile DJ for your wedding or any event!

Philip and his wife were great to work with. My daughter and I met with them prior to the wedding with a list of music that she would like to play throughout the evening. He even had great ideas about a few games they could play during the wedding reception. Philip kept the evening flowing between the announcements, dancing, and games. Exasperated with the hunt for the DJ, I couldn't have been more elated when I received a referral for Philip Mobile DJ. He responded to my email immediately, he knew every song that I wanted to play, he was willing to offer feedback and suggestions as to which songs to play and placement in my ceremony, he offered assistance with the flow of my ceremony and reception, his price couldn't be beat, and, most importantly, at my wedding, my guests stopped me to tell me how awesome my DJ was. Case in point- as the bride, it wasn't always easy to find a time to take a break. My best lady said to me- go now, the music selection isn't going to stop being awesome so if you don't walk away now, you aren't ever going to. (She was absolutely right- I could have stayed on the dance floor all night long)
I had the most memorable evening and I accredit much of it to Philip Mobile DJ. Thank you for being reasonable with your pricing, thank you for being so nice to work with, and thank you for making it a night I will never forget!

I had such a great experience with Philip Mobile DJ. They offered so much help from weeks before to the day of! I am so happy that I chose them as our DJ's. They made it fun and the atmosphere was great. They had every song I wanted in the ceremony and they went above and beyond to make our day special. I am very happy with how everything went. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to have a great DJ at their wedding!

A good and flexible DJ!

Philip did a wonderful job at my wedding. He has thoughtful detail questionnaires before the event to make sure all your music needs are met. I really enjoyed that he allowed requests to be made by guests. He was very responsive and helpful preparing for the event and the day of the event. He was very friendly and flexible.

Philip Mobile DJ did a great job at our wedding reception. They were very quick to reply to my emails and questions during the selection process and had some great worksheet to help plan the reception music. We booked Philip Mobile DJ for a 5 hour reception. They made announcements for us throughout the evening for when the buffet opened, when we were having cake cutting, first dance, etc. The announcements were a little hard to understand at the back tables. The music during the dance was great. I made Must Play and Do Not Play lists and they followed them to a T. Also, they took some video of the dancing and sent them to me after the reception. Since we didn't have a videographer, this was a great perk! I would definitely hire them again.

Philip & his wife were great to work with. They were very organized in the time leading up the wedding reception & during the reception. Their communication is great with very quick responses. They were very flexible with our requests before & during the reception. We couldn't have asked for them to do better job than they did. I highly recommend for your DJ needs. Thanks!

Philip and his wife, Koa, were so helpful through the whole process of getting the music planned for our wedding. They were very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions I had and asked questions in return to make sure they had all the details right, which I really appreciated. Philip wasn't able to be there for our actual wedding, but they made sure things still went as planned and without a hitch. Larry, Philip's uncle, came with Koa to do the announcing and everything went great. We had a smaller wedding of roughly 50 guests and I didn't think there would be much dancing, but in no time there was a crowd on the floor. Larry and Koa thought to announce and remind guests to sign the guest book and contribute to our honeymoon fund without me even thinking to ask. Their attention to things like that really meant a lot and helped me be able to just enjoy the day and I felt confident they had the entertainment under control and everyone was having fun. They were able to pick up on the vibes from our guests and picked the best songs. So thankful to have found and had Philip Mobile DJ for our wedding.
