Amazing Videographer!!

I am so glad we went with Philip James Films for our wedding. Philip went above and beyond to make our wedding day special. I cannot say enough great things about him and his team. We just got our video back, and it is AMAZING. It brought back all of the emotions from our wedding day and is so special to have. I would definitely recommend him!

Forever In Our Lives

I don’t even know where to start… the day was perfect and now we get to relive it whenever we want thanks to Philip James Films. My husband and I have taken part in a lot of weddings and helped plan many weddings in our time and in fact that is how we met, so we knew from the beginning how many decisions we were going to have to make regarding OUR big day. I can remember hearing friends and former clients talk about the choice on whether to have videography at their weddings and I can also remember saying to them… “pictures give you one emotion/memory but a film gives you a whole different emotion and feeling.” Having the opportunity to watch and hear your wedding day whenever you want, or whenever you may need, is something I will also treasure. Philip and his team did such an amazing job capturing the true essences of both my husband and I as well as the day. Neither one of us love being in front of the camera, but they made it so easy and made both of us feel very comfortable During the planning process I felt like I was meeting with a friend and I remember Philip being so interested in the details of not only our day, but our relationship and who we are as a couple and as individuals. This was not just a vendor trying to make a living, this was someone getting to know us, becoming part of our lives on wanting to create something special for us that we will have forever. This team will forever be part of our lives and we are truly grateful to each one for capturing our special day.

Perfectly Captured Our Wedding Day

I cannot say enough positive things about Philip James Films. If you are on the fence about a getting a videographer, do it! Philip James was so easy to work with, and from the very start of the process they made it clear that they wanted me to be happy with the final product and comfortable during the process. Due to covid, many family members could not attend our ceremony so Philip James Films created a Facebook link and it was so easy for friends/ family to watch our special day! They were so kind, worked great with my photographer, and didn't miss a moment of our wedding! We ordered a short highlight film from them and absolutely love it - they perfectly captured my dad's toast, our first dance, all of the details we put into our reception, silly dance floor moments, etc. We watch it way more often than we thought we would and it makes it feel like we are back at our wedding! 10/10 recommend!

BEST Videographer/SO accomodating

Phillip James was amazing to work with throughout the entire wedding process! We had multiple phone/video chats about wedding day and options for packages, every detail you could imagine or that you never even thought about! Phillip was so helpful, genuine, professional and genuine as well as his whole team! My wedding was cancelled due to a hurricane causing us to move it 5 days before the wedding! Phillip said someone from his team would be there no matter what even though they lived in the effected area! Talk about FOR THE CUSTOMER! Through all their troubles in Wilmington Phillip and his wife Hannah came to video our wedding! They are the most amazing people and amazing at their job!! I could not recommend them enough!!

The best!!!

Incredible. Philip and his team were such a joy to work with - from our first meeting to the finished product, I have nothing but great things to say about our experience. I'll cherish all the work he did in capturing our day and putting it all into such a beautiful film for us to enjoy for the rest of our lives.
Easy communication, fun, professional, seamless on the day of (my dad didn't even realize there was a videographer around!), excellent film. Highly recommend!!!

Philp and his wife captured our day so perfectly! We will treasure our wedding films forever. We looked into a lot of video teams and were so happy we went with Philip James. If your on the fence for spending for a video definitely do it. We were so happy to have all these special memories saved, it was completely worth the money. Philip always responded quickly, is so enthusiastic and professional with his projects. He worked with us to help us get exactly the kind of film we wanted, and was always very cheerful and easy to speak with. Philip listened to us and wanted to really get to know us as individuals and as a couple which really shines through in our film. Philip worked seamlessly with our other vendors. The video was very professional, the lighting was wonderful and his team really captured the mood of the whole day. Thank you to Philip's team for capturing all these very special moment for us forever. We hired Philip and his team as our videographers and couldn’t have been more pleased with not only the end result but the level of communication, professionalism, and genuine interest in getting to know us before our wedding day! Phillip and his wife did the videography for our wedding. I didn't know at first whether it was something I wanted, but luckily I trusted my wife. The final product turned out awesome and we can rewatch the video every anniversary! It captures some special moments that I would otherwise forget. I'd absolutely do it again!

When my wife originally suggested spending money on a videographer for our wedding, I thought she was crazy, but now I'm so glad that we did. Philip was great to work with and we are thrilled with our video. It is my wife's favorite memento from our wedding day! The staff at Philip James Films is awesome to work with as well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a videographer.

My husband and I could not be more pleased with our wedding video from Philip James. They did such a lovely job of capturing every moment in a way that we will cherish forever. When we began the search for a wedding videographer, we wanted someone who could not only capture the big moments of the day, but also the little details. Philip James Films did just that. Our wedding videos turned out beautifully! They did a great job capturing the love and joy of the day. They made the day super smooth with their planning and even helped with my photographer who was shooting her first wedding. I definitely recommend them! They help make your day wonderful!

My husband Zach and I absolutely love Philip! Having a videographer at our wedding was by far one of the best decisions we made and Philip made that decision so simple. He made us feel comfortable every step of the way and perfectly captured our day. He was accommodating and so open to every element and obstacle we presented to him. We are eternally grateful for the gift of film that Philip gave to us and our video is so perfect we could watch it everyday. If you haven’t chosen a videographer yet, look no further!

Philip was our wedding videographer for our 2016 September wedding. My husband was on the fence about hiring a videographer but I promised that I had done my research and knew that it would be worth it. Hiring Philip was honestly one of the best decisions in the wedding planning process we made and after receiving our film from Philip my husband completely agreed. Philip was my husband and I’s favorite vendor to work with for our wedding! From the time we met him at Courtyards and Cobblestones to our meeting prior to the wedding and then to the day of our wedding, communicating with him was seamless and we felt that not only was he knowledgeable and experienced, he listened to us and what we wanted to achieve with our wedding video. Once we received our highlight film, all of the feelings from our wedding day came rushing back – now each time we watch it, we feel like our wedding was just yesterday! Once we received all of our footage of our wedding day, we got to see parts of our day that we did not have the chance to enjoy and we were able to see all of our closest friends and family enjoying themselves and celebrating. There was no question in my mind about hiring a videographer to capture our day, however, choosing Philip James Films was by far the best decision we made. It is priceless to see our interactions with each other and our guests, that is something we would not be able to relive based off of just memory. Thank you Philip and Hannah for creating this special heirloom for us, we will cherish this forever!

We had our wedding film with Philip James, after searching for different videographers we decided to go with them because of their amazing work and once we met them, we knew that Philip personality was the right fit. They worked with us to get us the right package for our needs taking our budget into account. We are happy with the result. Definitely recommend them.

Philip was absolutely amazing!! Words can't express how beautifully everything was captured from start to finish on our wedding day. We absolutely LOVE our wedding video!! Philip was very professional, understanding and kind. He made sure to capture the most intimate and important moments that will never repeat. It will be a lifelong treasure that we will be able to share with those that care and love us, and hopefully passed down to future generations. They showed the utmost interest and respect to us, to our story, to what was important for us and from there grasped who we really are. When planning a wedding, it can be so stressful and of course you have to stay within your budget. I wanted a videographer and it wasn't in my budget but with the help of my wonderful parents they made it happen. My parents selected and hired the videographer.

Our wedding was on October 1, 2016 held at Butterfly Kisses Pavilion and Phillip showed up right on time. He was so amazing, professional and so helpful. He guided us and got some amazing shots throughout the entire day. He is truly an artist who captures all of your special moments and stayed till the end of the wedding. After receiving our highlight video I was so excited...it was everything we had imagined! I would recommended him to my friends and family for their upcoming weddings and special events! If you want an affordable and professional videographer, I highly recommend Phillip James Films. I'm so glad that my parents gave us the opportunity to relive our wedding through this video. Having the video now gives us the opportunity to see what we missed on our crazy wedding day. It goes by so fast and being able to watch your day again is a really special treat. I wanted to take this time and say thank you Philip James Films for EVERYTHING him and his team

Our review is long overdue, babies and life happens! Philip and team were so professional and a dream to work with. We appreciate them working with our last minute decision to have a videographer. Philip James videography is absolutely amazing! They captured our day perfectly and the production quality of the film was incredible. We also accelerated the timeline of getting the highlight film back to us because we wanted to show it to our family at our second reception, which was a little over a month from the wedding date and they work so hard to get us our video in time. Everyone loved seeing it at our reception in Canada and it really brought the experience of our southern Bald Head Island, NC wedding with us to Canada for everyone to experience! The other great thing was they worked extremely well with the photographer and I didn't feel like we were staging things, as they know how to capture the moments and get the shots real time. Overall one of the best decisions I made was to not only have a videographer but also to choose Philip James! Trust me, you won't be dissapointed!!

Anyone can film an event but it takes talent, craft and thought to capture the true story behind a relationship. I'm pretty sure hanging out with Philip was one of my husbands favorite parts of the day! He did such a great job of directing us to look natural and also hanging in the background catching all of the greatest moments. He and his wife are both full of southern hospitality and genuine personality! We enjoyed having them with us on our day!

Philip and Hannah were very professional communicating through phone calls, emails, etc. prior to our wedding day. We even met a few weeks before the wedding day, which put me and my future husband at ease. We were able to thoroughly review the wedding timeline, and also go over specific details that were important to us. On our wedding day, they showed up with smiles on their faces and were a pleasure to work with. We received our film in a timely manner and I couldn't be happier with the result!

Philip and Hannah did a great job capturing our special day. They were easy to work with before the wedding, always very responsive to emails and questions, and they were even better to work with in person. It was so nice to relive our day a few months later. I know we will continue to watch the videos often. Our highlight film was amazing and just what I was hoping it would be, and anyone who has watched it agrees and has commented what a good job Philip did. When I finalized the idea of how I was going to propose to my fiancee, I knew I wanted to have it all caught on video. I contacted 2 friends who are professional videographers, but they were both booked on the day I had planned to propose. They both highly recommended Philip and gave me his contact information. Philip was quick to respond to my message and setup a phone call. After telling him my proposal idea, he was passionate about capturing it all on camera. Both Philip and his wife met me at the location of where I would propose the night before, so we could setup the camera angles, check lighting, and plan out each step. Philip not only has the right equipment to record high quality video and sound, but the talented vision and skills to put it all together perfectly. I could not be happier with the final video he composed. My fiancee and I now have an incredible memory that we can watch and re-live thanks to Philip James Films.

I could not be more pleased with the video footage from our special day! The wedding went by so quickly for both of my husband and I so it was fantastic to re-live our entire wedding day! I would absolutely suggest using Philip James Films for your event. He is very professional and knew what questions to ask in order to capture what was important to us on our special day! Philip James Films did an amazing job telling the story of our wedding day. Words cannot describe how creative and professional this husband & wife team truly is! They made us feel extremely comfortable and were to sure capture moments that my husband and I will treasure for the rest of our lives. There's lots of things that I regret spending money on for my wedding, Philip James Films was NOT one of them! It was worth every penny and if I had to re-plan my wedding they would be the first vendor I would book!

We just watched this incredibly beautiful film of our daughter's wedding and are amazed at how Philip James Films captured the spirit of the wedding!! My husband and I were in tears as we watched and are so thankful that they highlighted our favorite moments of the day. Philip and Hannah captured our wedding day in such a beautiful way. We could not have asked for a better way to relive our memories from the most important day of our lives for years to come. Every time we watch our highlight we hear our vows and are reminded of the love and joy we, and all of our family and friends, felt that day. It was very important to my husband and me that the videographer and photographer not disrupt the day, and just be a fly on the wall to get more organic moments and shots, and Philip did that for us. No one was distracted or uncomfortable from cameras right in their faces, or in the middle of our ceremony aisle and we loved that aspect of their service. We cannot thank you enough for giving us such a treasure and the opportunity to feel relive such an incredible day as much as we want. Thank you!!
