Working with Jamila, owner of Petal & Wren, for my daughter’s wedding at the Boston Harbor Hotel was a pleasure from start to finish. Jamila listened to our vision, worked within our budget, and designed the most gorgeous arrangements for the bride, bridal party, church, and reception. Simple yet elegant was the theme and that is what Jamila created in spades. I would also like to mention that my daughter lives in NYC and it was invaluable to us that Jamila hosted Zoom sessions where she shared a detailed Look Book in a PDF file that was amazing. Jamila did a great job helping her clients visualize the end product. Jamila helped to make the floral side of the wedding planning process seamless. I highly recommend Petal & Wren for your wedding or really any event. Jamila is a gem! -

I can’t recommend Jamila and the Petal&Wren team enough!!!!!!! My husband and I dealt with a lot of challenging logistics over the course of our 18 month planning process. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had two Cape Cod venue changes last minute in MAY. Jamila was so reassuring and responsive to us. She took the time to personalize our flowers to our budget and overall vision. The flowers were the MOST important part of our day and she exceeded our expectations beyond our wildest dreams. All of my guests still gush about how stunningly beautiful and unique my floral arrangements were! The colors, the textures, the quality - all top notch. Jamila is so talented and creative. I can’t emphasize how honest, intelligent and accommodating she was throughout our wedding journey. Our wedding is going to be featured in upcoming editions of the Knot & Brides Magazine for outstanding local vendors. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Obsessed!!
My wedding flowers were gorgeous!! Jamila was fantastic and truly brought my vision of a white/blush spring wedding to life. There were so many compliments on the centerpieces, my bouquet and chuppah design. I loved them so much I had my bouquet preserved and now I get to cherish them forever. HIGHLY recommend Petal and Wren! -

I was recommended to check out Jamila of Petal & Wren based on a vendor's recommendation for what I was looking for. Once I checked out her portfolio I knew I loved her work. But I cannot say enough how different it was to see my own dreams come to life from her artistry. She was so wonderful to work with from the very beginning, quickly meeting with me to understand my hopes, quickly putting together a proposal to show me what it could look like and costing. Having this upfront was wonderful. She was even helpful making color choices for some of my other items I was handling like candles and table runners and making sure my colors for the bridesmaid dresses would go. She even made sure her flowers would flow wonderfully with the venues seasonal greenery in place. When I saw the flowers that day, it truly was everything I was wanting and more. Trust that Jamila can make your floral dreams come true as well. Love supporting a small shop and a women owned business. -

They matched our color scheme head on and were the star of the show for all our decor. We initially contacted many florists and decided to go with Jamila due to her prompt communication and the fantastic vision board she provided (including design/pictures for all the flowers and decorations). Jamila stayed in touch with us and was always open to any adjustments we had throughout the planning phase. Oh my goodness, I genuinely do not know where to begin. If you’re considering florists for your wedding day, hire Petal & Wren NOW! As someone who got married at a botanical garden and talked to a dozen florists, I can assure you I did the research for you already. I am absolutely obsessed with florals and can tell you Jamila exceeded every expectation I had for our wedding. From our very first call through our wedding day, she was extremely responsive with an exception turnaround time for any request. I changed my mind a few times throughout the process on what we wanted our florals to be, even adding in more colors and varieties the last time we spoke, and she was always understanding and offered many suggestions and ideas. I didn’t even need to really give any guidance after our initial conversation because she is such an expert that I trusted her completely to make my vision come to life and she definitely did. The only photo I took on my phone the night of our wedding was of our flowers because, as I said to my husband, I want to remember these forever. I am absolutely obsessed with Petal & Wren and I know you will be, too! Seriously, hire her now before she is booked up!! -

I cannot say enough amazing things about Jamila at Petal & Wren! From our first mode of contact to our consultation session to our wedding day execution, Jamila was incredibly professional, responsive, and a joy to work with. I also greatly appreciated Jamila's ability to work within our budget, color scheme, as well as the the timing of our wedding (we had an early morning day wedding). Above all, our wedding planning was taking place during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and when we had to change our date from September 2020 to July 2021, Jamila was beyond accommodating and empathetic.
Furthermore, many of our guests complimented our flower selection and made a point to tell us that their take home center pieces lasted for many weeks after the wedding.

All I can say is WOWWWW
My wife and I both carried bouquets at our wedding and they were STUNNING! Jamila worked with us to give us exactly what we wanted- which included roses that signified each of our professions (cappuccino roses for coffee and pink roses to signify poetry for an english professor) but also was able to find flowers for which I had no name, I believe I requested "the white ones with the black centers". We were obsessed with our bouquets- they are now dried and decorate our front hall. Jamia was flexible, responsive, and great at communicating. Would recommend. Ps- also such a good insta-feed. -

My Dream Florist
We were so happy to have had Jamila as our florist for our wedding. Since it was in our backyard we knew we needed amazing flowers to elevate the space and that's exactly what we received! My bouquet was stunning and our guests were blown away by our half archway. She delivered our bouquets to us as we were getting ready and set everything up at the venue without me, making my day totally stress free! From start to finish Jamila was professional and easy to work with, she even accommodated us when we added last minute pieces a week before. Her talent speaks for itself. I was a guest at a wedding Jamila had done and knew right away i wanted her to do the florals at my wedding. I wasn't too sure what i wanted but i told her about my dress and bridesmaid colors and she took it away from there! I was completely blown away by her work and couldn't have asked for anything more! The most incredible florist!!
Jamila is truly the most incredible florist in the industry. I know very little about flowers and gave her little to work with when it came to my vision other than some general colors, but I was BLOWN away by our proposal and she made our whole day come to life. It was even more perfect than I ever could have imagined! Our wedding plans changed due to COVID and we ended up getting married in our backyard, and honestly Jamila's florals transformed our backyard from just a backyard to a wedding venue. Everyone was talking about how stunning the florals were and how amazing Jamila did all day! I was OBSESSED with my bouquet and just everything - she did absolutely amazing and everything was so beautiful! Jamila is also so sweet and communicative - she was truly so easy to work with throughout the entire process and on the day of. If I could give her 10 stars I would! 10/10 would recommend! -

Flexible Florist
Petal & Wren (Jamila) was our florist for our wedding in Sugar Hill, NH. I found her through instagram and was impressed by all her beautiful work. We were originally supposed to host a wedding for 250 people at Granite Links in Quincy. We had to change everything about our wedding plans due to COVID-19 and Jamila stayed with us through it all. I was constantly updating the florals for guest tables and ceremony decor/arbor because of the new venue with less guests and Jamila maintained flexibility throughout. To top it all off, we had to change some plans day of because it decided to pour rain ALL day on 10.16.2020. It could not have been pleasant working with florals in rain like that! The arbor was just what I wanted and I loved my bouquet so much, I sent it out to get pressed and made into a piece of artwork! -

I stumbled across Petal & Wren on Instagram a few months ago and fell in love with Jamila's dreamy designs. I reached out to her, and she was super quick to respond. We chatted on the phone about my vision - she ran with this and created the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen! When I decided I wanted to add additional table arrangements, and she was super flexible with this (and everything else!) and even met us to pick up the growlers we were using for the centerpieces.
Day of, she had the bouquets and corsages delivered to my hotel room where my girls and I were getting ready and the centerpieces to the restaurant where we were getting married and it couldn't have been easier. All of my guests were gushing about how beautiful the flowers were.
Seriously, Jamila is AMAZING and you should reach out to her asap! -

Floral goddess!
I mean, can we all just take a moment of silence for those flowers on that moon?!?!? Jamila is a literal GEM to work with. Her vision is so unique and unlike a lot of florists in the New England area. She has so much talent - you can just give her a color scheme/vision and she will run with it and she will blow you away. I wanted to cry so many times looking around at our wedding flowers during the day.... they were beyond beautiful and SO thoughtfully designed, making them perfect for our boho/natural/minimal style.
Jamila loves what she does, and puts in a different style with all of her clients so no 2 weddings look the same!! I can't wait to get back all of our other photos to see all of the other floral magic that is in there!!! -

Petal and Wren was recommended to us through our venue, The Colby Hill Inn, as a florist they trusted and had done excellent work in the past. As a result, I reached out to Jamila and she was fantastic! Even through all the COVID craziness, she was communicative, flexible, and supportive. We even had to change our wedding date, and she made it happen! She even did a special bouquet ribbon for me that she wove in my grandmothers bracelet, and it was beautiful! A perfect “something old and blue” for our wedding!
I would absolutely recommend Petal and Wren to any couple in need or a wedding florist. -

I still talk about my wedding flowers. Jamila took my vision for my wedding flowers and delivered arrangements that were breath taking. Her communication was excellent. Extremely flexible during the unpredictable start of COVID. She came early to set up at a venue she had never been too and made it look beautiful. 10/10 you will not regret going with Jamila. -

My husband and I had to move our wedding date & location a total of 4 times due to COVID and during that process, flowers were a last minute detail that I'd originally planned to DIY to save money. We finally settled on having a small (20 person) backyard wedding at my Godmother's house and I decided it'd be easier to use a florist rather than try to do the flowers myself. It was mid August by then and the wedding was Sep 20th. I reached out to Jamila at Petal & Wren hoping she'd be available and she was! Jamila was a dream to work with - she was always prompt to answer my questions and understood my floral vision and budget. Not only did she honor my budget, but she didn't make me feel self conscious for how small it was in comparison to the average wedding floral budget. She was also willing to work with me even though she's based in Wales, MA and the wedding was over 45 miles away in Sterling, MA! Since it was such a small wedding, she did my bridal bouquet, my sister's Maid of honor bouquet, my husband and his brother's boutonnieres, my other sister's wrist corsage and side greenery for our ceremony arch. She did such an amazing job and the flowers were all that I'd hoped for and more. You will not regret using her as your florist.

Perfection!
Jamila was an absolute dream to work with! She was recommended to me by a friend and I could not be more thankful that I worked with her! Jamila was so accommodating from the start. I changed what I wanted for florals about 1000 times and she took each change in stride. I never wanted a lot of florals until I kept seeing more and more of her work and I just knew I had to have more at my wedding. Her arrangements tied my entire wedding together, it was absolutely stunning. The florals she added to the pergola we got married under was absolutely perfect. They made the few pieces of wood my grandfather put together in his garage come to life and it was the most beautiful back drop for our ceremony. My entire vision for my wedding came together because of Jamila (and all within my budget!) She's an absolute artist and I could not recommend her more! -

The Easiest and Best To Work With!
Talk about a dream come true! Florals for our wedding were minimal but extremely important to me where they were and Jamila made my Pinterest worthy dreams come true! My bouquet and arbor decor were everything I could have imagined and soooo much more. One of our table centerpiece arrangements traveled from Massachusetts to Florida by plane and then across the state, it survived all that over the course of a week and still looked beautiful to present to a cherished family member who couldn’t attend the wedding! We were able to preserve my bouquet, my wife’s boutonnière and the arbor decor as well as “replant” all the succulents from the centerpieces to keep forever! The value for the quality of service, personal service, flexibility, and workmanship is undeniably the best thing we paid for. I will 10/10 be going back to Jamila for bouquets for future events and recommend to her all my friends! If you’re not following petal and wren on the socials, you’re missing out! -

Jamila was AMAZING through this whole process. I loved how she took the time to understand the exact vision we had for the reception, and nailed it to a T! Everyone commented on how beautiful the arrangements were, and she incorporated our faux gourds and pumpkins perfectly (I was so nervous they would end up making things look tacky). Jamila was incredibly kind, patient, professional, and competent, and never made us feel self-conscious about our budget (and stuck to it). I would highly recommend her and Petal and Wren! -

When I first started my search for a florist for our wedding, I naively reached out for a handful of quotes a few weeks before Valentine’s Day. Many vendors replied back saying they would be unable to provide an estimate / answer my questions until after the holiday. But I did not get this response from Jamila at Petal & Wren. She provided a quote quickly and was happy to work with me to get the cost down to something I felt comfortable with. As I continued to change my mind throughout the planning process, she was understanding and made quick updates to our floral plan. When I arrived at my venue on our wedding day, I was greeted with the most beautiful flowers I had ever seen! Every piece from my bouquet to the gazebo arrangement to the cake accents were absolutely perfect. I received so many compliments from my guests. I highly recommend Petal & Wren! Reasonable prices, great customer service, and beautiful flowers. She captured our vision perfectly. -

Amazing!
Jamila was an absolute dream to work with and so reasonably priced!!! I showed her a few pictures of things I wanted and she did not disappoint. I also made a few last minute changes and she was able to accommodate them. She made the sweetest boutonnieres for our ring bearers and beautiful garland for our sweetheart table. She also let us make our own crates for centerpieces and she added the flowers. I got so many compliments on our flowers and bouquets. I just can't say enough about how happy we are that we went with Jamila!! -

Florals came together better than I envisioned
I had a very general idea of what I was looking for in my floral bouquets. I kind of knew what colors I wanted and that i wanted a rustic feel with the addition of greens. When I saw my bouquets and aisle florals it was so much more. They were stunning and I really wished I could keep them like that forever. It was my absolute favorite and the colors were even better than what I saw in my head. -
