Using Petals and Promises for our wedding was the best decision we ever made. 10/10 performance across the board! They were extremely professional, easily reachable (even outside of work hours), they were very organized and we were kept up to date with everything happening. They paid keen attention, even to the smallest of details, and made our day extra special. They are literally pixies, and ensure a smooth, stress-free wedding day. The Perfect Pixies
Kara and PetProm came as a recommendation to us from another wedding planner in Jamaica for being accomodating, extremely professional and good at what they do as well a sensitive to the budget we had. My partner and I are based in the UK and were hosting a destination wedding, being that my partner was from Ocho Rios.
From the get, Kara was beyond delightful, and instilled complete confidence in us that we had made the right choice.
Wedding planning began in 2020 for a 2021 wedding, but covid forced us to postpone the wedding by a year, between that time, we had infrequent updates with Kara to advise on the wedding landscape in Jamaica and offer guidance on how to progress.
We managed to plan and execute for the wedding we wanted and Petals helped us deliver on the vision we had to the T. The flexibility, expert advice, vendor relations and fun nature of the Pet Prom team made what is usually a stressful process quite seamless. Where adjustments needed to be made, Kara was accommodating, where cost effective choices needed to be made, Kara was a accommodating, we felt as though we were priority number 1 and that feeling should not be taken for granted.
We whole heartedly appreciate Kara, Kecia and the entire team of vendors that made our day one for the record books. The saddest part about all of this is that we won't be speaking with Kara regularly, but fortunate for the many other couples, you're in safe hands.

They were truly outstanding!
I honestly couldn't have done it without Kara. I was overwhelmed and didn't know where to start, but once I spoke to her, a weight was instantly lifted! She took the wheel but was always professional, respectful and mindful that it was my wedding. She ensured I wasn't steering away from my vision, which was hard planning a wedding during Covid. On the roughest and most frustrating days she never lost her cool, she was patient and understanding. She suggested top notch vendors and handled everything. The day of the wedding she really stayed on top of everything. At one point after the reception, I snuck away to my room just to relax in the air conditioning and have a moment, and there was Kara behind me, its like she knew I needed her and was one step ahead and making sure the bride was OK!

My Pixie team!
Thanks Kara and Team for making my special day amazing. From the beginning of the engagement process the Petals team was extremely supportive. During the planning process I changed my venue several times, and never once was the team frustrated, instead the team jumped into action suggesting decor and setup ideas based on the specific venue. Due to covid restrictions, I lost my, well what I then believed to be my dream venue, however, Kara made sure I was not stressed and suggested a backup plan immediately. Her calming personality made me feel at ease and in the end it turned out that the venue used was perfect for my day! On my wedding day, there were showers of blessing, as a bride this created anxiety, however seeing the Petals team jumping into action to ensure that all my guests were entertained, fed and comfortable made me feel so much better! Perfect Micro Wedding Planning & Execution
From start to finish, the experience with Kara and the Petprom team was nothing short of exceptional. Kara is so helpful and pleasant, and works with you and your budget to bring your dream vision to life.
Our wedding had 11 persons in total, and I felt like the team gave us the same level of professionalism, organization and attention to detail as they would have if it were a 200-person wedding.
Over the course of around 3 months, from dress alteration, planning, florals, venue decor and overall day-of coordination, the team went above and beyond our expectations.
Thanks again Kara, Diba, Janique and the team. I would highly recommend Petals and Promises for any event.

Wedding Planning Review
Charles and I met Kara-Ann and her team at Kingston Bridal Week 2019. We knew then that we wanted Petals & Promises to plan and execute our forever. It was very challenging planning a wedding during Covid-19 however Kara-Ann was very reassuring, open to changes and offered suggestions based on what was happening. She would called just to find out how we were doing (that meant a lot to me). During the planning stage, we had to made several changes to the wedding and even to how meetings were held however it was smooth sailing with Kara-Ann.
Fast forward to our wedding day, I was at peace knowing that everything would be ok. I was very pleased with the planning, decor and coordination services that was provided by Petals and Promises . Special thanks to Diba and the entire team for a remarkable job. Petals and Promises will forever hold a special place in our hearts for a job well done.

Kara and team treated us like family from our initial consultation. They were always available to answer any concerns or questions we had and was always flexible when we wanted to make changes. Helped to make our day absolutely perfect!
Kara and her pixie team at Petprom certainly delivered on our big day. We wanted to have a very intimate, romantic but rustic setting and they made it absolutely seamless for us. We are extremely happy we chose Petprom for our decor and additional event management . It is very good to know that you have an extremely competent, well composed team whose judgment and expertise you can rest assured in. Execution was detailed and last minute changes or even bases that you don't consider will be covered. Most of all for us as a couple was to hire a team who enjoys what they do and has vested interest in ensuring our day was a success!

Having a wedding in another country brings about its own unique challenges, having people who know where to go, how to get things done, and who to contact is essential for a smooth planning experience. We had a wedding of about 120 at a beautiful Great House in Montego Bay. Every detail exceeded our expectations, truly! Kara’s energy is so calm and positive, right before I walked down the aisle there was a bit of rain, ‘oh no moment, right’? Well not for Kara-Annn! As the planner, she was so calm, smiled, gave me a reassuring word and we were off...I think the rain also felt her calming energy because it stopped as soon as I stepped out from the covering. We had a small, non traditional wedding at a villa in Ocho Rios. We were looking for a very tropical, elegant feel for the decor. We booked Kara a little over a month before the reception date. I sent her my pinterest page and an idea of the budget. She got in touch with us right away and we had a phone call pretty much the next day. Once I spoke to her I really felt we clicked, in the sense that she really understood what we wanted. I sent a couple of emails to her here and there to refine the design and ask questions. Other than that I just left it all up to her. I wanted it to be a surprise.
When I walked into the venue on the wedding day, I was in awe. It was stunning. Simple, elegant, tropical. More than we could have imagined.
I can honestly recommend Kara. She was great to work with, and worth every penny!!

Kara-Ann was the coordinator who we interacted with, for our Vow Renewal held at the Jamaica Pegasus. She is a very creative and a reassuring young professional. We saw the decor of an event online and presented it to Kara, who did not hesitate to say, YES, we can do it. Her work was pristine. She maintained contact with us frequently up to the event and facilitated being present at site meetings at the Venue, closer to the date of the event, even after we went over the details a trillionth time. She explained what would blend better with our decor and went further to suggest ideas that were far better than ours, that displayed elegance and sophistication, once we were able to clearly outline what we envisioned. Oh my, the floral arrangements were "breath-taking and simply out of this world". They were magnificent plush Red and White Roses. The draping of the fabric was Perfecttttt. The colour napkins fit our scheme to the "T", which was red and white. Just to show you Kara's dedication of making our event everything we anticipated, though her team had completed set up long before the start of the event, Kara stuck around asking if there was anything else she could do to help. Amazing!. We have already started spreading the word about Petals and Promises with our friends and family members and wish to say a hearty thank you to Kara-Ann for such an exceptional delivery. I walked into Petals & Promises in dismay, no concept, no budget, no energy really lol. Kara was welcoming and patient. After I got over the initial "I have no clue what I'm doing" moment, we decided to hand things over to Petals & Promises. With the wedding color in mind and a vintage rustic theme swirling around in my head, the team was able to materialize our dream day. Suggesting ways we could re-purpose existing arrangements to work at different locations throughout the day in an attempt to work with the budget we had. From our first consult, to onsite meeting, to execution...absolute professionalism! I bought my dress else where and a week before the wedding it couldn't fit :-). They have magicians in that place, that's all I can say. The only regret I have is not using this vendor as my wedding planner. Spend the extra money with them, in the long run when you look back the hiccups that may happen, they will make them disappear or not make you know at all.

Petals and Promises made planning a wedding look very easy. They definitely made it a wonderful experience, especially since I live in Houston and the wedding was in Kingston, Jamaica. I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Kara-Ann as my planner and she is such a sweet person, very easy to get in-touch with (I used Skype and a text messaging service to communicate with her or I relayed messages through my mother who she dealt with most of the time since my mother lives in Jamaica.). She was very accommodating and ensured that every detail was thought of. No question or request was too trivial. She works with all the vendors on your behalf which makes life so much easier. They handled the decor and the flowers, they even did alterations and steam cleaned my dress.
If I ever need to plan any event ever again, I will definitely use them. They are very good at what they do and it reflects in the results and the way they treat their clients.

The service I received from Petals and Promises was outstanding. As a bride that does not live in Jamaica (and has a Type A personality), I was a bit worried because a lot of the creative decisions I would have to leave in someone else hands. Kara-ann from Petprom made it so easy to plan my wedding decor. Kara-ann was so professional, she listened to all my ideas and found ways to incorporate my ideas in a budget-friendly matter. Through numerous emails and phone calls (trust me there was a lot), Kara-ann and her team was able to put together an absolute picture of perfection. I am was absolute awe when I saw the vision that was in my head for months finally in front of me. I am so grateful for all the work Petals and Promises did my make our wedding day so beautiful.

Kara was insightful and made the day we envision come to life. She accommodated last minute request with ease and gave us the feeling that all will be well. And it was!
The decor was elegant and our bouquets we lovely and delicate. She also ensured that my dress was perfect by doing last minute unforeseen adjustments. Highly recommended.

I am still in amazement and full of joy with how everything turned out for my wedding. Kara was able to pull together all my scattered and non-specific ideas and make it EXACTLY what we wanted and more. I am beyond pleased with all aspects of the wedding and reception. Words truly cannot express how I feel. On the day Kara was in every single place... I honestly don't know how she managed to do that - but she was exactly where I needed her every single time. The only reason I did not give 5 stars on responsiveness was because for the lead up to the wedding it felt difficult to get in touch but now I realize, when Kara is working on a wedding , that wedding is the most important thing and she gives it her all. She is there when it counts and she stays to the very end and makes sure everything is taken care of to the very end, including the finally splitting of the cake for the family. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

The team at Petals and Promises interpreted and carried out my wishes precisely! They were responsive and agile when I requested a change in the location to which bouquet and corsage were to be delivered. They were also on time with everything which is critical to the success of every event. Everything was beautiful and Kara Ann gave useful advice on the decor.

Often times, when you speak to folks about wedding plans, they reflect on how stressful the planning was and how anxious they were, which could either get you worried or even deter you from having your 'dream wedding'. But, not me. I can gladly say, with a humble heart, that I was one stress free, happy bride, with only one regret, having not invited this one person to my wedding in hindsight. Ah well.
Anyway, my Trini-Jamaican themed wedding was PERFECT and I give thanks and nuff respect to the Petal and Promises team who took care of me from the day I walked into their office, up to today (almost 2 years later). If you're looking for a dedicated team who will listen, recommend, say no and make it sound good, fix your hair, protect your items, respond to your with every tiny forgettable detail and live up to the promise that your wedding day dream will come true - then call them now! I promise you this will be the BEST money you ever spent!! My partner and I are quite busy and kara and the team gave us little to no work. The atmosphere with was always light with good vibes and genuine sense of putting us first. We created a concept that was unique and they made whatever was in my head a reality. My experience with this vendor was in relation to selecting a wedding dress. The experience from start until the day of the wedding was phenomenal.
Choosing my bridal dress as early as August for a December wedding was the best decision. The moment I visited this vendor and made an appointment to see Terry, the whole dress selection was a no brainer...Terry was A-mazing from the very start in selecting dress to getting dressed at the hotel. The team was so easy to work with, extremely flexible and somehow always found a way to comfort us and reassure us that all will be well in the midst of freaking out. The service provided was first class. They were very flexible and patient as i adjusted my package quite a few times just to make it work. On the morning of the wedding I had a last minute change and wanted a different head piece, i was able to get someone to open the office just to accommodate me.

I don’t know how we would have pulled it all together without Kara and her team. She is the best as what she does and ensured that our wedding vision and dream became a reality.
