Great to Work With!

Rev. Wilson was wonderful to work with! He was responsive, helpful and kind. We loved that he let us choose what we wanted in our ceremony. He has a booklet with examples of what can be placed in a ceremony which was very helpful for us. He offered to organize the ceremony himself or to give us control or to have a combination of both. We ultimately used his booklet to organize the ceremony ourselves and it was a great help! His public speaking and presence was very good as well as he was able to get everyone's attention. His years of experience is apparent and we greatly appreciated him officiating our May 2023 wedding!

Ceremony that we Dreamed of

Rev. Michael Wilson was wonderful and created and delivered the ceremony that my husband and I dreamed of. We are very thankful that he made our wedding so beautiful and highly recommend.

Great officiant

Michael was a great officiant. He crafts the ceremony to your wants and has a lot of examples to choose from. We also did premarital counseling with Mike and found it so great. We 100% recommend using Mike!

Easy going, comfortable, kind, and compassionate

Michael was so kind and easy to work with. Wedding planning is stressful but he really made everything better. He talked to us over the phone and got to know us which I really appreciated. He found out what type of wedding service we wanted and then sent us a service he thought we might like with plenty of options for different parts of it and let us add/remove/rearrange as we saw fit. This was great for me personally because I had no idea what a wedding service consisted of so he gave us a perfect starting point but we still got to make it personal to us. He made it clear that it was our wedding so he would say whatever we wanted him to say. He even gave us ideas on how to incorporate our children into the ceremony which made the ceremony even sweeter. He was actually interesting to listen to during the ceremony. Not just some guy mumbling a bunch of words quietly and just getting through it. Anyways, I’d recommend him for sure. I’m so happy he was our officiant. Great guy.

Great service

Last month, I contacted Rev. Wilson about performing a quick wedding ceremony in a park a few weeks later. He got back to me right away, and was able to customize a service for us. He was very flexible and a great speaker. We plan to have a bigger ceremony for friends and family next year and will definitely contact him again.

Perfect and flexible!

Michael was so easy to talk to and very understanding of what we wanted. His communication was great and response time was prompt. He was early for the ceremony and just a really nice guy! I absolutely recommend him, he gave us a memorable wedding ceremony.

Great Experience!

Rev. Wilson was wonderful to work with throughout the wedding planning process. We met with him soon after our engagement and he helped us create a ceremony that was both traditional and unique. He checked in with us several times leading up to the wedding day to confirm details and was very thorough during the rehearsal in explaining what each member of the wedding party should expect the day of. Our ceremony was perfect and exactly what we wanted!

Great experience!

We had to postpone our wedding. So it was a blessing in a disguise because we were able to have more time to search for someone to marry us. Rev. Michael, helped us from the beginning! He ad given us a booklet that gave us so many ideas. It made our planning so much easier. Highly recommend!

Michael was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding. While he is a reverend, we were looking for someone who would be comfortable doing a non religious ceremony and he was more than accommodating. Michael helped us create the perfect personalized ceremony for just a fraction of the cost of what we found elsewhere and was there to support us in every way during the process. Despite having to reschedule our wedding twice due to COVID 19, he was considerate and flexible with every challenge we faced. We even had some of our guests mention how wonderful he was! We would highly recommend Michael to anyone looking to have a down to earth, touching ceremony to celebrate their union.

EXCELLENT! Could not have been better

Rev Mike Wilson took the time to meet with us and go over the plans for the ceremony while giving us a lot of flexibility to customizing the ceremony. He was great to work with and did an awesome job during the ceremony itself. Many of the guests remarked how warm, engaging and personable he was before and after the ceremony. During the ceremony his voice boomed out amongst the guests so that everyone could hear him. For anyone looking for a Reverend to do officiate their ceremony, we would highly recommend Rev Mike Wilson.

It was wonderful to have Reverend Wilson as our officiant. He is quite experienced in crafting a customized ceremony - for the first meeting he prepared a booklet with detailed information and helped us pick out and put together the parts we wanted. It was very customizable and personalized. Everything is very professional. Will be recommending to all of our friends when they getting married!

Couldn't Be Happier!

We were lucky to have Reverend Michael Wilson as our officiant on our wedding day (November 2, 2019)! He was charismatic, enthusiastic, charming, and professional to say the least! His method of officiating is personable and efficient (he allows the groom and bride to alter anything with the ceremony that they see fit but he also guides and shows examples to those who may need them)! Everything I wanted! Short and sweet! We were done in less than 12 minutes. Wedding ceremony was quick, the way I wanted it.

Highly recommended. Wedding ceremony was great. Options given to us for our vows were plentiful. Short wedding ceremony, but quality was excellent.

Smooth, easy, thoughtful, unique, perfect!

Rev. Micheal Wilson was so wonderful to work with. He met with us to get to know what we wanted out of our wedding ceremony. Every ceremony he does is unique to the couple and he has so much experience officiating. He offered to either write it for us or have us pick out the writing ourselves. We had him write our ceremony for us and we added a couple items in the end. He was very flexible when it came to add unique ceremony details special to us. He always responded within the day or next day and was very helpful in the process. After the rehearsal I felt very confident that everything would run smoothly on the day of the wedding.

Great officiant willing to adapt to your needs

Some standout things we really enjoyed about working with Reverend Wilson:
- He provided a small book of examples that was an invaluable starting point for several parts of our ceremony. Yes, there are plenty of books and the internet is an infinite resource... but honestly, it was great to have a small resource to start with and then expand only when we wanted to.
- He made it very clear that he was comfortable with what we wanted. Whether we wanted to write every word of the ceremony or have him write every word - he would support us in what _we_ wanted to do. He also told us that if we wanted to do everything, we could always change our mind and he'd do the rest. It was really great knowing that we had that option in our back pocket.

We also enjoyed his quirky/awkward sense of humor and that he views marriage as an equal partnership (for example, his policy is not to use "obey" in the bride's vows).

Rev. Michael Wilson was extremely pleasant, easy, and flexible to work with. We met for an initial consultation and then he emailed us a ceremony outline which we customized to the style and flow we had in mind for our day. We worked back and forth on a few updates and the final draft really reflected the personal, light hearted ceremony we wanted. His delivery was enthusiastic and comfortable and we could not have been happier to have him as part of our day. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant for their wedding.

Reverend Wilson was great! He was super quick to respond to my e-mails.

I had a couple of changes here and there, including my schedule, which he was able to do without any issues!

Reverend Wilson knocked out our rehearsal quickly and enthusiastically!

Reverend Wilson conducted our ceremony with ease and everything was perfect!

Most importantly, Reverend Wilson got my wedding certificate in the mail so I had my certified copy when I returned home from my honeymoon! I was able to begin the name change mess right away!

Excellent and enjoyable

Rev. Wilson is a very nice man and made everything very easy. We picked from one of his already prepared scripts and added in a rose ceremony for our mothers and a sand ceremony. He has scripts you can choose from if you want and a variety of things you can add in or if you have ideas of your own he is very easy to work with. He really put us at easy and was very knowledgeable and informative about everything. I definitely recommend him.

We pretty much got married at the last second to set up! Michael made the whole ceremony special to fit us. He even added in a little piece to include our daughter. Would definitely recommend or use again for a vow renewal ceremony.

We did not know Rev. Wilson prior to him doing our wedding. He asked a lot of questions to familiarize himself with us and I immediately felt like I had known him for a long time. He made us feel very comfortable and we knew he was perfect for the wedding we had planned. So grateful for his part in our perfect day! Very glad to have him as part of our wonderful memories.

Reverend Michael Wilson was great to work with! He gave us a booklet to help us pick out what we wanted in our ceremony but I ended up adding some parts I found online. I was able to put together the whole ceremony how I wanted! He is very reasonably priced and he delivered the ceremony remarkably well! He made me feel at ease before the wedding,

We were married on October 1, 2016 at The Conservatory in St. Charles and we found Mike through their vendor page. Mike is quick to respond to communication, and is able to accommodate individuals who need a lot of guidance, or those who like to become creative with their ceremonies. The materials he provided gave us a wide variety of marriage ceremony examples, and he allowed us to create a ceremony which fitted our personality and set the tone for our friends and family. During a life event which made us have to change several of our plans, he was supportive, understanding, and flexible with our ceremony choices. On the day of, he was a calm and steady presence and delivered our ceremony perfectly. We will always treasure having Mike as part of our special day.

Everyone complimented on how they loved the service and loved how he included our children into the ceremony. A few even said that's the best one they have ever been to and seen. This was coming from parents who have been too many weddings. We loved what he chose for us.

We had a wonderful experience! We had a non traditional ceremony mixing Persian and American traditions and Michael helped us customize every detail. His direction at the rehearsal and delivery at the ceremony were spot-on and he was flexible and patient through the whole process. We couldnt have had a better experience.

Reverend Michael Wilson did a fantastic job for us. He provides whatever level of support you need to develop your ceremony by providing an excellent manual with very many examples. You can develop your own ceremony or he will do it for you, to your satisfaction. He has a great sense of humor and is very professional. We could not have been happier with his services.

MIke took the time to find out "our story", including how we met and incorporated this into our ceremony to personalize the ceremony. He included our entire family at our request in the ceremony service as well. We are happy with how the ceremony was conducted along with the ideas he provided when needed or requested. He worked to make it our personalized ceremony.

Michael stepped in at the last minute when our chosen minister fell ill. He was so accommodating and prompt. We had our ceremony written which he was willing to use and even provided his recommendations. We are so thankful to him for helping us out at the last minute.

Reverend Wilson is very experienced. He put together a wonderful ceremony that he thought would be very fitting for us after getting to know us better. He gave us a book full of example ceremonies as well to tweak what he created to fully fit what we envisioned for our ceremony. We did just that and created an unforgettable ceremony with his guidance. He is very reasonably priced and incredibly reliable.
