    The perfect venue

    Persimmon Country Club hosted our wedding abs they couldn’t be more perfect! Everything went smooth and fine. The place is amazingly beautiful and all the servers were super nice and friendly. The food is outstandingly good. Highly recommended

    Everyone there is SO kind!!

    Friendly, professional, and kind staff there!
    They were extremely helpful in making our covid restricted wedding amazing! They helped us in a short amount of time and were so easy to work with. I would 100% recommend having an event there!!

    We booked Persimmon Country Club for our wedding in September 2016 and could not have been happier with how everything turned out! From coordinating with Jayde before the wedding, to the day of, everything was smooth and all of the staff were amazing to work with. My husband and I had a vision for our wedding of "country chic.” Jayde and the staff at Persimmon helped that vision come to light. From allowing us to come in early the week before our wedding to hang lights from the ceiling, driving us around the golf course to choose photography locations, we could not have asked for a better experience. I myself have a number of severe food allergies; Jayde took the time to work with the chef at Persimmon to make a personalized menu so that I would be able to have a special meal on our big day.

    My husband and I had a six month engagement. To some it might seem impossible to plan a wedding in such a short amount of time but with the staff at Persimmon it was a breeze. Jayde and the staff worked with our vendors to coordinate day of arrangements, which took the stress off of my husband and I. She was open to all of our ideas and turned them into realities. Thanks to Persimmon Country Club, our wedding day was more than we ever dreamt it could be.

    We booked Persimmon for our wedding in August 2016 for the AMAZING view. Little did we know but we would be getting much much more. I don't have enough words to describe how impressed and happy I am with Persimmon for our wedding. They met every single one of our requests... and there were ALOT. We had a large wedding consisting of 275 guests but Jayde, Kyle and the staff made sure to accommodate each and every one of our guests. They made sure our elderly guests were able to get around easily; made many special meal requests for our elderly, children, vegetarian, and lactose intolerant guests; and even put together an entire inventory list for their supply closet that they allowed us to use. We had so many guests comment on how well they were treated and how they felt much more welcomed than any other country club they had been to.
    The menu and package flexibility was phenomenal. They have so many options to work with our budget and made sure we got everything we wanted. The food was awesome, use of their massive supply closet was so helpful, and use of their dance floor and wedding arc were all very affordable. We knew we were in the right hands when we showed up at an early 7am in the morning and our bridal suite was completely decked out!
    Now about Jayde Hall the Persimmon coordinator. We had a long 2 year engagement and Jayde worked with us all throughout that time to make sure every single detail we thought of was carried out. Jayde truly touched our hearts. She not only was efficient, attentive and caring but she treated us as if we were family. I truly don't think our wedding would have been the same without Jayde.

    We recently held a wedding ceremony and reception at Persimmon Country Club for our daughter in July,2016.
    Persimmon has so many wonderful qualities about it and their menu options are incredible and there is a very good sized decor closet which is included in the price that you can use if you choose! Jayde, the wedding coordinator, helps you with every detail and truly makes you feel welcome & makes all your concerns melt away. She is on top of everything. Jaydes one-on-one time before hand is what made this wedding day a huge success! The staff as well is a great group of people to work with. Any concerns we addressed were tended to right away and done professionally and with a smile!
    The ceremony sight itself has the most beautiful panoramic view including a fantastic view of Mt. Hood. This venue is very pristine and the landscape is beautiful as well as breathtaking. We had an outdoor ceremony on the edge of a beautiful section of the golf course. The bride & groom had a private golf cart ride with their photographer where there are even more beautiful and breathtaking areas for photo options....It was more than we had ever imagined!
    The comparison shopping for venues in regard to not only Persimmon being the best pricing, but also ALL the options that were included and not at an additional cost, whereas other venues had just about an add'l cost for almost everything. Persimmon has a wonderful assortment of menu options. We chose a brunch, with the most wonderful foods on the buffet. We even had a wonderful pasta buffet at the rehearsal luncheon. We were also able to incorporate gluten free and vegetarian options. The chef was incredible!
    Persimmon Country club is a top notch and top choice venue for the most wonderful, beautiful and gorgeous wedding ever! My husband and I are very thankful for the choice in venue and highly recommend others to check it out and choose Persimmon for their next wedding event!

    I cannot even begin to express my gratitude to Jayde, Kyle, and all of the staff at Persimmon! We got married in April, in Oregon, meaning the weather cannot be trusted! The day of the wedding there were scattered showers, but Jayde let us wait as long as possible before making the final decision about where to have the ceremony. And when we decided to have it outside, the staff had towels out and ready to dry the seats and try to make the experience as comfortable as possible for us and our guests. Miraculously, the rain stopped just as the ceremony began!

    When we were considering Persimmon, Jayde met with us and made things easy and transparent. We could tell she really cared about our experience, not just about making a profit. She allowed us to use the venue's existing decorations left from passed events, she let us use their projector and screen with no extra charge, she was available at anytime to meet and/or chat with us about details, she planned a personal tasting session with us and allowed us to modify our menu options, she took notes to ensure the reception and ceremony were set up exactly how we wanted.... really, the wedding was extremely smooth and beautiful, very much thanks to Jayde and her staff. We could not have done it without her.

    Persimmon is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the service is top-notch. My husband and I VERY HIGHLY this venue for a wedding, and for any other event that you want to be a huge success :)

    We had the privileged to work with Amanda. She was absolutely amazing! The whole day and night went so smooth. She really took care of us and was flexible with all of our changes! I would totally recommend this venue to people who are looking for a venue!

    I have one word for Julie, AMAZING! Of all the venues we have looked at, Julie has been the most accommodating coordinator so far. She is very attentive to detail and is very enthusiastic about her work. Since the first day we met her, she has been very helpful in our planning process with her creative ideas and willingness to help in every department! When I came in to see Persimmon for the first time, Julie knew I wanted a wedding reception that was completely outside. When she showed me the banquet hall they have, I was blown away with their deck and the gorgeous view. Julie was never pushy, she gave me many options to work with. In the end, I found another venue that was completely outdoor. However, if anyone is looking for a wedding venue that is indoor, THIS IS THE PLACE:)

    AH-MAZING.

    My husband and I eloped to Hawaii on a budget and came back looking for a place to have a place to celebrate. We were so frustrated to call venue after venue, only to find that we would basically be paying for an entire wedding! From the first phone call with Julie Weiss at Persimmon, I was BLOWN AWAY by how accommodating and helpful she was. Julie and her awesome team worked tirelessly with my husband and me, planned the perfect menu (which was delish, by the way!), navigated through all of the details and our OCD ways - and we were a LITTLE high maintenance ;o) - and helped to ensure we had the PERFECT EVENT.

    The best part of our day? The full moon over the mountain that night! It was simply breathtaking, and I couldn't have scripted it better. Our friends and family will be talking about this venue and our reception for years to come!

    Julie and the staff at Persimmon were amazing for our wedding reception! The moment we began initial discussions, my husband and I fell in love with this fabulous woman! She's the best! Julie is detail oriented and works hard to provide you all of the pieces of what it takes to have a fantastic party! The catering to the selection of beverages and the list of preferred vendors made it easy! Our guests said it was the best party they had been to in a long time, and Persimmon made it happen! Thank you again!

    We were really happy with the service we recieved for our event. It made things really easy that PCC was so flexible with everything we wanted for our special day!

    Julie and the Persimmon staff were awesome.We had the most beautiful reception. I have a few suggestions to make the ceremony site more appealing. But we spent most of our time at the reception. The food was great!! Hated to have to see it go to waste. I am not fond of a tip jar at the bar, did not want guests to feel obligated especially since we had already covered the service fee.

    This place was beautiful for my outdoor wedding. Julie, the event coordinator, was very helpful with the whole process. She was very organized and worked hard to make everything perfect on the big day. On the wedding day Julie was out setting stuff up and running back and forth so I wouldn't have to. The wedding turned out great. Thank you to Julie and the staff at Persimmons Country Club!

    From the moment we met Julie Weiss, she showed the kind of interest in our daughter's wedding planning that was just beyond expectation. We knew we needed support in making the multitude of decisions for the evening candlelight ceremony and reception. She was able to help us build our vision, suggest vendors, and help think through the entire process. She was very warm, knowledgeable, and professional in all our dealings with her. She just couldn't have been more attentive and helpful. Meeting our needs at every turn, our guests commented on how special the wedding was. I can't speak highly enough of our experience.

    Let me start with the views....UNBELIEVABLE!! My husband and I were thrilled! The team at Persimmon was so amazing for us. Even with weather issues, they even set a ceremony outside and inside just in case......WITHOUT US ASKING! We had a break in weather and they were ready to take care of it all and we had a gorgeous outside wedding. We had an amazing day. The staff made us feel so special and their attention to everything made us feel like we were the only priority in their world. The food was amazing and our family and friends had such a great time. This couldn't have been possible without all the staff at Persimmon. Guess where we're having our baby shower party!!! :)

    Persimmon made my wedding perfect. The catering director was easy to work with and took care of all my needs and made me feel so comfortable. The food was delicious and the setting absolutely beautiful. One of the prettiest golf courses in the area. Everything was taken care of for us and was just how we had planned and wanted it. I would highly recommend Persimmon to anyone getting married. The cost is definately worth the value and service you receive.

    Awesome! Ceremony and Reception were great! View of Mt. Hood was amazing for photos. Too cold to be outside but it worked out great inside. Food was delicious. Very flexible with our time and multiple visits.

    They made a custom menu for us because we are very into the fall season and wanted to honor that! They went above and beyond with this menu, people are still raving about it! Amanda made sure all went smoothly, down to making sure we hid out in the bridal suite for a bit after the ceremony, before we were announced at the reception - something we hadn't even considered.

    They were more than flexible with us for our wants and needs.
    Only marked lower than 5+ on responsiveness because I was an A.D.D bride with groom-zilla at my side, and we wanted to know months ahead of time what we could do.

    Great venue and great staff, all around. Down to the guys who waited on my finnicky bridemaids who demanded food in bridal suite. You guys were great!

    We had a beautiful wedding at Persimmon Country Club. All the guests remarked on the amazing views and idyllic scenery of the golf course. All things considered, we had good food, and a nice reception hall for the cost. The only thing I would have preferred would have been more set-up time on the day of the wedding. They only allow you to arrive 2 hrs before the ceremony to set up, and we had a lot of decor, table arrangements, and ceremony decorations to place. As a result, my mom was helping the two decorators to get the job done (even the florist stayed late to help), and my mom missed half of the wedding pictures she was supposed to be in.

    Julie was super awesome! She is very nice, responsive, fun, creative, and what a joy to work with! She will go out of her ways to help make your wedding exactly what you envision. It was a pleasure and an exciting experience to plan my wedding with her. It is a value for Persimmon Country Club to have her as a wedding/event/catering coordinator.

    We are just in the planning stages of our wedding for August 2016 which is why I haven't yet given 5 stars across the board. Jayde Hall, the events coordinator at Persimmon has been hands down the kindest, most responsive, helpful, flexible, willing-to-work for you venue rep I have ever met. I would highly recommend this venue for their flexibility and willingness to make your wedding work the way you want it to! I will update again after our event next summer.

    We were incredibly happy with how our day went. Everything needed was taken care of by Persimmon, allowing us to not have to worry about anything getting done. Everything was set up to our specifications and the food/beverage service was wonderful. The only issue was when the main bartender went on a break, the crew captain covering didn't know how to make some drinks. Additionally, we were surprised to see a tip jar placed at the bar when part of our cost included a 20% gratuity built in.
    The ceremony space was beautiful and set up how we requested. However, club members were allowed to be seated on the balcony over our ceremony and some of our guests near the back had a hard time hearing when these patrons got a little loud.
    I do think as long as these were addressed prior to your event there would be zero problems with the entire experience. The event coordinator, Julie, was great throughout the entire process. She is new to Persimmon and VERY eager to address any issues throughout the planning process to ensure our day was perfect, I don't doubt she would be willing to make adjustments for all her couples.

    We very much enjoyed the beauty of this venue. The planning was made simple by the coordinator, and very stress free. The food was a bit too pricey, although tasty, and the ball was dropped on a few details on the actual day (although nothing major). Overall, very happy and would book a reception here again.

    Venue was beautiful and has beautiful views. I was not impressed with how the staff and wedding coordinator handled my wedding. They dropped the ball on several things that ended up affecting my wedding. The staff did not want to move tables or set up my decorations when I was told by the wedding coordinator they would. She said they charge extra to put my decorations out. My mom and mother in law got stuck doing it and were not able to help me get ready like they had planned. During my ceremony club members were outside on the patio eating and talking loudly and my guests had a hard time hearing. The food was good but way overpriced for what you get and the ceremony fee of $1000 is ridiculous when you pay $9000 for your reception. Also, thought that the bar having a tip jar out was very unclassy, especially for a wedding. I paid a gratuity and big money for a wedding package and then to have my guests feel obligated to tip was very disheartening especially on top of everything else that went wrong. Overall I was not very impressed with Persimmon. This was my wedding day and it was not what I had envisioned at all. Persimmon definitely let me down on what was supposed to be the happiest day of my life.

    I am absolutely not familiar with this situation. I am available and very "hands on" during each wedding, and if any issues occur I am aware and handle them promptly. This review is truly dis-heartning and "news to me" Thank you cards have poured in this entire summer from brides and their families, so this review seems completely out of character to the way weddings and communication has been conducted.
