With DJ Craig, the dancing never ends!

Our dance floor never died because of DJ Craig. There was legitimately never a single moment during the party portion of our wedding that the dance floor was not packed and hype. DJ Craig has such an incredible ability to read the crowd, which made our night absurdly fun. It felt like the songs never ended, they seamlessly transitioned into another song that just began. He played absolute bangers all night long.

DJ Craig made sure we played our must-play songs while also curating the vibe we wanted all throughout the wedding. From the ceremony to the final song, Craig helped everything feel organic and fun.

People are still telling us how awesome our DJ was. Hire him.

Amazing Wedding DJ

We are so happy that we chose Craig to DJ our wedding! He came highly recommended and he certainly lived up to the hype. From the beginning he was easy to communicate with via email and phone. Our initial meeting was informative and efficient! Going forward we appreciated that Craig communicated about all the important details in a flexible manner (i.e., Google Docs) and did not require excessive meetings or repeated communication. We had all our questions and concerns answered and addressed throughout the process! On the day of the wedding, Craig was professional and self sufficient, working along side our planner/coordinator seamlessly. The music choices were perfect for cocktail hour and dinner with the focus on the music and vibes (no unneeded comments or talking over the mic which I've seen from DJs at other weddings). We had a smaller wedding with only 40 guests, but the dance floor was insanely fun the whole night. Craig respected our music requests, matched the vibes of the dance floor, and played sick mash ups. We had an amazing time and our guests made so many comments about how great our DJ was. We cannot thank Craig enough for cultivating the dance floor of our micro-wedding dreams and for being so easy to work with throughout the whole process!

Ultimate vibe

Craig was the straight up perfect partner for our wedding at Dover Hall, vibes were out of control all night, he knew exactly what we wanted and ran with it, everything you’d want from a DJ and more. Came in with needle drops OFF THE CUFF during speeches, just unreal stuff. Had everything set up and rolling lightning quick, so so professional. Call with him coordinating run of show for the reception was super simple, we had some nonstandard stuff we wanted to do and he saw the vision immediately and helped us structure everything for flawless flow. Can’t imagine the night without him.

Kept the party pumping!

DJ Craig Wood of Perpetual Sound, LLC brought neverending life to the party! We got his name from our photographer and we are so glad we did. From the early planning stages for our wedding, he guided us through what to consider when selecting music, what would be going on in his head on the day of, and how we could best prioritize our dance floor time. We coordinated with us for a seamless timeline of events and executed the schedule to a "T". He provided recommendations on lighting colors based on our venue as well, which totally made our photos pop!
On the day of, the dance floor was NEVER empty. He kept everyone breaking out their best moves all night long, and helped facilitate the movement of our guests between the various spaces in our venue for major events like toasts, entries, parent dances, and the send-off. He facilitated the mics and sound for our ceremony and cocktail hour as well, which went perfectly! His enthusiasm, energy, and kindness were the cherry on top of a perfect night! We highly recommend DJ Craig Wood for all your DJing needs.

Amazing Job!!!

We absolutely recommend DJ Craig Wood. We knew from hearing him at our friends wedding 2 years ago he was going to be our choice! He is extremely responsive in the planning for the event, and curated a playlist that was completely our vibes! As soon as he arrived (2 hours before wedding) he had everything setup and ready to go. We had a unique back-yard wedding, and he was able to accommodate all the nuance of this location. He made sure the acoustics in the tents was good, and without bothering all of our neighbors. He was also on top of unique timing requests, like walkout song after we tied the knot. Everyone had a blast on the dancefloor because he kept the hits coming. He was also great to improvise if vibes were changing or people were trying to leave the dancefloor, he'd wrangle them back up with a new song, which was amazing!

We couldn't have had the same great wedding experience that we did without his DJ'ing!

The best thing you can do for your wedding is hire DJ Craig.

We got married in March 2025 and conducted a thorough search for a DJ in the D.C. area. After several interviews with multiple vendors, my partner and I immediately knew that we would hire DJ Craig once we spoke with him on the phone.

Throughout the planning process— DJ Craig was fast and clear communicator, had transparent pricing, and provided a ton of insights that helped us coordinate the audio/DJ flow for our wedding day. And, he's a DELIGHTFUL person to talk to!

Most importantly here— DJ Craig *ROCKS.* I am telling you, ALL of our guests had RAVE reviews about this man!!!! His music selection was incredible and his mixing between songs felt seamless (meaning— absolutely no awkward gaps/silences between songs)! He included all of our must-plays and somehow magically read our minds to figure out all the other songs we’d want to hear on our wedding day to fill out the rest of the playlist. The dance floor was absolutely *on fire.* I can't stress enough how much we all danced and how much our guests loved his set!

From the start of our day to the very end, Craig was extremely reliable. He showed up on time to help set up the audio production for our ceremony, which was flawless, and then transitioned to DJ-mode for the second half of the night. He also provided and set up incredible party lighting that really set the tone for our dance floor.

Reader: I **cannot recommend this man enough** do yourself a favor and hire DJ Craig!!!!

Literally the best dj

One of the most important things to us on our wedding day was making sure everyone danced, so we knew choosing the right DJ was extremely important.

DJ Craig was that and SO MUCH MORE!

He truly listened to all of our thoughts and preferences and played the best music all night long—the dance floor wasn’t empty for a single moment. At one point it even started raining, and DJ Craig played the PERFECT song that had all of us running outside and dancing in the rain (I still dream about this moment). It was such an unforgettable moment. He helped make our day beyond perfect, and we cannot recommend him highly enough.

Craig was so much fun! Our dance floor was so full of sweaty people for 2+ hours and we heard from so many of our guests how good he was. He had such a down-to-earth approach to his music and his job, and has the perfect demeanor to do what he does. In the week leading up to our wedding, he responded to my emails literally within minutes.

Best DJ Ever!!!

DJ Craig was truly the best DJ and vendor we could have asked for! Music was one of the most important elements for us for our wedding and he did more than deliver. He went above and beyond to communicate with us throughout the process and make sure we had the best experience possible. We heard from all of our guests how great he was and almost the whole wedding (200 people) were on the dance floor the whole night. Our Party Wizard!

Craig was AMAZING! We gave him the difficult task of keeping us on the dance floor for almost 3 1/2 hours and boy did he deliver.

He made sending him music that we liked such an easy process and he filled in all of the time perfectly matching exactly the vibes and feelings we wanted.

He even heard, during our vows, that we liked anime and then proceeded to play some anime music during dinner that my now husband and I recognized and got so excited about!

We got MULTIPLE compliments all night long about just how good he was -- both in how fun the music was but how funny they thought he was when he was on the mic as well.

He also worked brilliantly with our other vendors - he already knew our coordinator (and she was the one who recommended him) and he was able to get everything connected for our videography team as well so we'd have great sound there too.

All in all Craig was just fabulous and we can't recommend him enough!

Craig is amazing! From his quick response time to the incredible vibes he brings, he has it all. Prior to the wedding, Craig was very responsive and detail-oriented. He asked specific questions to ensure our expectations as a couple were met—and even exceeded. Craig is exceptionally gifted at reading the room and matching the music vibe to the crowd. DJ Craig is the best!!!

DJ Craig is the best!!! From our first call with him, we could tell he was a fun person and a great DJ. For our wedding, we were looking for a DJ who had energy (but was not annoying), and would play music that would keep people on the dance floor during our reception, and he delivered. He knows exactly what works well throughout the whole wedding day, from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner to dance floor, and his experience, flexibility, kindess, and professionalism sets him apart.

During the planning process, Craig shared lists of his favorite songs to play, as well as suggestions for different parts of the ceremony and reception. He was very receptive to song/genre/vibe preferences, but honestly we loved a lot of the stuff he liked to play so it was easy for us to let him lead the way! His mixing style is perfection, and we got the best of so many songs in despite our dance floor being open for just 2 hours. He also had a perfect mix for the Hora— one less thing for us to have to decide during the hectic time of wedding planning!

All of our guests loved the music and our dance floor was poppin the whole night, we highly recommend DJ Craig!

A Master of the Dance Floor & So Much More!

We can’t say enough great things about DJ Craig Wood! From our very first conversation, Craig was responsive, professional, and genuinely invested in making our wedding day perfect. He was always available for phone calls, took the time to listen to all of our thoughts and requests, and offered helpful suggestions that truly elevated the experience. He even provided some professionally cut music for our dances.
Craig put together a detailed timeline that helped everything run smoothly, and he handled both our ceremony sound and reception uplighting flawlessly. When it came time for the party, the transitions were seamless, and the dance floor was absolutely amazing—no one wanted to leave!
We gave him a few “must-plays” and “like-to-hears,” and he filled in the rest with the perfect music to match the vibe. His ability to read the room and keep the energy high was incredible. OMG- There is Nobody Better...Hands Down!

I cannot say enough good things about DJ Craig. First, he's an awesome person. You'll have a blast collaborating with him to make your special day extra special. If you care about the music and environment (lighting and soundscape), he's your guy. And if you don't really care or know much about this stuff...he's also your guy, because he knows so much about it that he's got you covered. You can be as involved as you want to be, and he'll know just what you need. I had a very specific musical program in mind for my ceremony, and he was right there with me every step of the way. He offered great suggestions, and we had a blast geeking out about music throughout the process. He also really helped me in my planning because he offered a great timeline for the evening and how it usually goes. He goes the extra mile for you, and the playlist was a banger. So much so that my guests asked for our wedding playlist by the end of the night, and he even provided a list for us to put together for the guests after the fact! As Tina Turner said, he's "Simply the Best!"

Amazing wedding experience!

DJ Craig Wood kept the party going all night long! He did a phenomenal job of reading the room, getting everyone on the dance floor, and keeping the energy high from start to finish. Kept the dance floor going!

Craig kept the dance floor going the entire reception! He was very professional in mc'ing the reception, took our "do not play" and "would like to hear" lists to heart to put together a great party and did a brilliant job blending one song into another so that people stayed on the floor the whole time (and our crowd was not one full of extroverts). I got several complements on our DJ throughout the night!

Are you ready to party??

Not only did he make a last minute YouTube clip of a song request happen last minute, but he kept our dance floor packed all night! We partied and danced and had the most amazing time. He Dj’d our friends wedding and I also know him in the wedding industry and have always heard great things. He was interactive just the right amount with guests when he needed to announce things, and played great songs all night even though I felt I mainly just gave a general vibe and general artists. I was overwhelmed trying to choose music, but he understood the style we were going for. He also had lights so we didn’t have to hire a separate vendor for those. Highly recommend! Craig will keep your party rockin!

I cannot recommend Craig highly enough!! He was a joy to work with from start to finish, such fun, chill energy (which was sorely needed with the stress of wedding planning), and literally every song choice he made was perfect - it was like he knew exactly what to play, exactly when to play it. His setup was also visually one of the best I’ve seen at a wedding - we went pretty minimalistic with our choices for uplights etc, but the lights he used around his table looked great. He was also incredibly responsive - there were multiple times we emailed him after 8pm, and he responded within half an hour. 11/10, would gladly book him again for another event!!

Fantastic DJ!!

Craig from Perpetual Sound was our DJ for our wedding and he was absolutely phenomenal. From our initial meeting, Craig made us feel comfortable and confident that he would create the perfect atmosphere for our wedding day. Craig provided music and sound services for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception as well as lighting for our reception. All of our music selections were blended perfectly and Craig was extremely helpful in creating our reception entrance (which we had a very particular vision for). But the best part of Craig’s services was his ability to read the crowd. We gave very little direction (a few must-plays) and Craig nailed it. The dance floor was packed, and many of our guests commented on Craig’s song selections and how great the music was. Craig truly created an amazing wedding atmosphere and it was such a pleasure working with Craig. Craig made our wedding day stress-free and allowed us to truly celebrate and enjoy the day with our family and friends. We highly recommend Craig!!!

Have you ever met someone and though, "WOW. This person is really, really, good at what they do" annnnnnnnnd it turns out that person is really really cool as well? DJ Craig is one of those people. Save yourself some stress, and seriously, if your date is available, sign the contract and book him now.

Full disclosure - we got married 8 years ago and I came across our dj booking info emails while looking for something else, and remember the omg-such-an-awesome-experience that we had, I stopped to login to Weddingwire to write this review. During our wedding, Craig did an amazing job with his playlist, helping us coordinate music for our first dance, and having EVERYONE dancing and enjoying themselves. So again, imagine someone who is both great at what they do and also happens to be awesome and you've found your wedding dj.

Amazing DJ!!!

Craig was flat-out amazing! He was super helpful and responsive during the planning process leading up to the wedding. He gave us an easy form to fill out for getting the songs we wanted, timeline, etc. He played so many of the songs we liked and had a great vibe the whole time. Could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding!

Craig DJed our wedding in July in Reston, VA and did an amazing job! During the planning process, he gave us a great document to help us plan when we’ll need special songs and the order of events for the reception. When we met with him to go through the line up before the wedding, he was super friendly and made a real effort to get to know us. During the wedding day, DJ Craig managed everything without any flaws or hiccups. He managed the mic and speakers for our ceremony, on top of the music. He played music throughout the cocktail reception while setting up for the reception itself. We gave him a few suggestions of what to play during dinner and the cocktail reception, and he went with it and knocked it out of the park with fantastic song choices! For the dance party, he made sure to play a few of our favorites and was super responsive to the crowd and what songs they were feeling. For the vast majority of the evening, there were at least 15-20 people on the dance floor because he kept the party going so well! We could not have been more pleased with his work and how the wedding went! Also, DJ Craig has very reasonable prices, especially considering the quality we received!

I can't say enough about Craig Wood! From the moment we started planning our wedding, Craig was incredibly easy to work with. He was always prompt in his communication and showed up early to set up, ensuring everything was perfect for our big day.

My husband and I actually learned about DJ Craig through our friends wedding. Everyone left that wedding talking about how he was the best DJ we had ever seen. Craig is *the* guy to hire for your wedding. From our first call, we knew we had the right guy for our party. "Craig was the best vendor we had"

It's not an exaggeration to say that Craig is the BEST DJ you can hire for your wedding. Do no hesitate - book him now. He truly went above and beyond in every way! Craig got to know us so we had absolute trust in him on our wedding day to play a curated playlist for our reception. He dropped beats that catered to every guest, and a few extra that he knew we would love and appreciate (that were not mainstream hits - he knew us well!!) He kept us dancing hours beyond the planned time, and was flexible with our end time. He promised, "As long as the dance floor is packed, I'll keep playing." And he did...two hours past the planned time (which we were able to do with our venue). Our guests had a blast! Beyond his musical genius, Craig is professional and organized - which gave us great comfort. He managed audio during our outdoor ceremony and it was crystal clear. He also was consultative in helping us plan our reception timeline so that toasts and first dances were thoughtfully timed. I have zero criticisms. There is nothing he could have done better. Craig is FIRE!

Kept the party going!

Craig is amazing! My husband and I had a specific vibe we wanted for our wedding and Craig went above and beyond to help our image come true! He is loads of fun and very professional. Excellent - best wedding dj ever

DJ Craig Wood was absolutely amazing. He had the wedding guests dancing the ENTIRE night and my guests still talk about how our wedding had the best music and dance floor out of the many weddings they have been to. He went above and beyond for our wedding - for our first dance, he combined different parts of the song and made it flow perfectly. He was very technology-savvy and ran different wires discretely so that we could make sure all of our guests could hear the speeches from inside and outside. He is so lovely to work with and I would choose him over and over again!!!!

Best. DJ. Ever.

If you aren't hiring DJ Craig for your wedding then you're doing it all wrong. Not only is he amazing at his craft, but he is genuinely one of the nicest people I have ever met. He also sends some of the funniest gifs. He took the time to meet my husband and I in person over some good drinks, and thoroughly explained his process and how things go for the day of. After we left, my husband looked at me and said "I love that guy and he is going to keep the dance floor lit!". And that is exactly what DJ Craig did! Our guests never left the dance floor and we had so many people texting us the next day saying how awesome he was, and some people even asked for his business card at the wedding! I'm telling you he is the best of the best. You need him to be your DJ. You won't regret it!

Best dj ever

I cannot express how amazing and thankful I am that I hired DJ Craig Wood. The next day after the wedding, I had so many people say how amazing our DJ was and how he really made it a fun wedding experience. Our dance floor was always full and he read the room so well and everyone had a blast, including the groom and bride :) I would absolutely recommend him to anyone that asks because he was truly amazing from the initial call with him to after the wedding. Incredible DJ

Craig was the perfect DJ. He knew exactly how to get the party engaged and it led to an amazing night. From cocktail hour, through dinner, through the reception - Craig new exactly how to feel the vibe of the room. Additionally, his sound work during the ceremony went off with out a hitch.

Your DJ search stops with Craig

When your friends, who have been to countless weddings, come up to you the next day and open with, "Your DJ crushed it!" you know you hired the right person. Craig not only kept the energy up on the dance floor, he totally got our music tastes throughout every part of the day - cocktail, dinner, even pre-ceremony. When we picked a less than typical song (a Led Zeppelin father-daughter dance, a Cake recessional) he made us versions that seamless fit with the moment. He even saved the day when our officiant couldn't make it, playing her recording for us during the ceremony with beautiful clarity. Plus he hit all of the cues during our ceremony, from music to microphones, and it was so professional and well done. Craig is so easy to work with, has such great energy, and truly brought our music vibe to life. And on top of all of that, he delivered the video of our ceremony (an awesome add on that's so worth it) incredibly quickly! You can't go wrong with Craig, we'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

All Star DJ - You will have one hell of a party!

As others have said, book DJ Craig Wood if he's available for your event! You will have one hell of a party and if you hesitate with booking him, someone else will quickly snatch him up! :)

He DJed my reception in February 2023 and he was a consummate professional from start to finish. During our initial call, my wife and I were confident that we made the right pick with selecting him for our entertainment over a live band. He provided us with sound guidance and great ideas from his years of experience in the wedding industry and had a huge influence with how our reception was structured.

If you're worried about an empty dance floor, don't even worry. He kept a full dance floor going for over two hours as he effortlessly transitioned from song to song across various genres. In fact, one of my friends hates most DJs and she LOVED him. We were incredibly honored that Craig was part of an all star crew that made our reception a fun time for all our guests.

Nobody left the dance floor!

I’m not even exaggerating when I say that Craig kept our friends and family dancing all night! Even before cocktail hour ended I was hearing so many compliments on the music he played and the love continued to pour in all throughout the night! DJ Craig Wood Rocked the Reception

DJ Craig not only kept the dance floor buzzing the entire reception but was also very helpful during the wedding planning process. While it seemed like there was always another task to check off our list in the last few weeks of our wedding, we knew Craig was something we did not have to worry about.

Before the ceremony and the wedding speeches, he was phenomenal in calming everyone down and reminding them to just have fun and relax.

We had our guests tell us how wonderful the venue was and how beautiful a couple we were but the number thing we heard, from both our friends and older family members, was how great the DJ was and how the dance floor stayed packed soon as the music started.

I cannot recommend a wedding DJ more than Craig Wood. His passion and desire to help make your wedding day perfect is evident as soon as you meet and he was able to deliver for my wife and I.

Best dj ever!

DJ Craig was the dj for my friend's wedding in 2017, and he was amazing, so I immediately thought of him when I began planning my wedding for October 2020. He was super responsive and the live calls we had with him were so much fun. When we had to postpone our wedding due to Covid, Craig was so understanding, and we were lucky to move our contract to October 2022. When we finally returned to wedding planning in early 2022, he was super responsive to emails, and very easy to schedule calls with. At our long-delayed wedding, Craig was the ABSOLUTE BEST! My husband and I barely left the dance floor during our reception! Craig pays amazing attention to who is on the dance floor, and he can read the room really, really well. He took our music wants into account, and everything he played was a hit. The dance floor was was never empty. I can't recommend Craig enough! He is the absolute best!!

DJ for the night but a friend for life

I don’t even know how to put into words how much DJ Craig means to us so I’ll start at the beginning. We had met with a few DJs and were honestly torn on the direction to go. We hit it off immediately with DJ Craig and from the get-go he felt like a friend. Throughout the process we were able to check in with him, ask questions as needed, and then come up with a timeline that worked for us. We provided a large list of songs that we liked to give him an idea of what we were looking for and he knocked it out of the park. He was always available to us and even rearranged some things schedule wise the day before our wedding because I asked. He is a bright light in this world and talking or texting with him can immediately bring a smile to your face. There was one night where we found out 2 weeks prior to our wedding that a vendor had double booked, and I was in a foul mood, but I knew that talking to DJ Craig would make me happy. I was 100% confident in him as a person and as a master DJ and I am happy to say he did not disappoint. He incorporated so many things that we asked for, insert drummer and flute player, a mix of old and new music and the dance floor was packed all night. I feel like not only did we have an amazing DJ and one of the best people we could work with on our day, but we also left with a friend. Run, don't walk, to book DJ Craig!

Hiring Craig was one of the best decisions we made for our spring 2022 wedding. Craig came highly recommended to us from friends who hired him as their wedding DJ and, after speaking with several services, it was an easy decision to book with him. We knew we would be in good hands from day one: his experience and easy going nature during every interaction put us at ease and calmed any and all jitters we felt leading up to our big day. We took his advice when mapping out the run-of-show and took a hands-off approach to selecting songs (only selecting a few "must play" and few "don’t play"); we would advise you to do the same and trust Craig: every single song he played was a hit, and he did a great job setting the right tone throughout and getting—and keeping!—everyone on the dance floor. Finally, we want to give Craig a shout-out for sticking with us throughout the pandemic; he was supportive of our decision to push back our wedding AND worked with us as we revised our vision, changed venues, the whole thing. Dj craig made our wedding specacular

DJ Craig is not only a phenomenal DJ but an amazing person. He spent so much time helping us, guiding us, and really making our wedding the most spectacular evening of our lives. Music is VERY important to me and so when booking a DJ for our wedding, my husband and I needed to hire someone who could incorporate those important music moments, set the right cocktail hour vibe, and then BRING THE HEAT to the dance floor. We wanted energy, a true party, and everyone out on the dance floor all night long.

Craig was so incredible to work with - easy, laid back, knowledgable, energetic. He provided us guidance when we couldn't make certain decisions and took the time to understand the vibe of the celebration we were planning. The music set the tone for every part of the day - and he executed it flawlessly.

By the middle of the party, we'd already begun getting compliments on how amazing Craig was - and by the end of the night at least 20 of our guests made a point to tell us how f-ing phenomenal the music set was all night long. One of our friends texted us about Craig being "unreal," another called him "unstoppable," and another commented on how no one dared to leave the dance floor because Craig was mixing bop after bop, banger after banger.

My husband pointed out one thing I should mention. I have the benefit of being a wedding vendor in the DC area, meaning that while working I've gotten to sample many of the DJs around DC/MD/VA... I know that picking a DJ is super hard due to the fact that it’s not easy to get a sample of the product. If you’re thinking about hiring Craig, please do it

Craig is the most professional, calming, and talented DJ out there. We were 1 month out from our wedding, and our previous DJ fell through. We reached out to Craig on a whim, and it was single-handedly the best thing to happen to our wedding day. From the moment we made contact with him, it took less than a minute for him to respond to all of our emails, texts, and calls. He provided us with a phenomenal resource that gave us the perfect outline for our entire reception. He nailed our entire ceremony audio and video, and returned a professional and beautiful video of our ceremony to us in an incredibly prompt manner. He then made our entire reception the most fun night of our lives. Neither my husband or I dance…. or so we thought. Craig had us and all of our loved ones on the dance floor the entire night. My husband and I didn’t have a single moment without the biggest smiles on our faces, and everyone couldn’t step away from the dance floor as every song somehow transitioned into more and more fun. He took into account our exact music tastes and combined them with his expertise, and I cannot count the number of compliments we received on the absolutely joyous party that he created. He provided gorgeous uplighting, and was a phenomenal, classy, and subtle MC throughout the night. Exactly What We Were Looking For!

Craig at Perpetual Sound was such a fantastic part of our wedding day. He came highly recommended by a couple of friends and he did not disappoint. Our friends loved him and the selection of music he chose. He takes the time to get to know you and your taste and then applies that to the music. Seriously. DJ Craig brought the party and then some!! Every single song he played was a hit - it made cooling off and taking a break from the dance floor very hard!!! Just the best mix of current and older hits so there was something for everyone. And besides his music spinning skills - he is incredibly responsive (emails back within minutes), shows up well dressed, is kind and accommodating, and has a plan and backup plan for everything!! I had no worries whatsoever all day. He was worth every single penny and want to recommend him to every single person I know!!! DJ Craig was recommended to us through another couple and he was awesome. We told him we wanted everyone dancing the whole night and he delivered! It was an epic reception thanks to him!! Highly recommend.

Awesome DJ!

Craig absolutely killed it at our wedding! He was such a pleasure to work with during the planning phase, and really took the time to get to know us and the type of music that we love. On the day of, he did an awesome job as an MC and really helped to keep our timeline on track. Once the party started, he kept the dance floor packed all night! We absolutely loved every single song that he played! Craig really helped bring our wedding to the next level. We can't imagine what we would have done without him.

Craig is the best!!!

Craig was so helpful and responsive from the very first time we spoke. I have received non-stop compliments from my guests about Craig and the music! Everyone had such a blast and the dance floor was packed the whole night. Craig was also able to seamlessly play some arabic songs and did so in a way that kept the whole crowd engaged at our multi-cultural wedding! Craig knows his stuff- you are in great hands!!!

DJ Craig -- 10/10 would recommend!

DJ Craig was such a delight to work with from our very first consultation call all the way through the day of our wedding. He completely understood our vision for our music and how to weave together our different tastes and preferences. He was always upbeat, professional, and very communicative. He even went so far as to recommend additional vendors to us we ended up hiring! Ever since our wedding, we've gotten nothing but glowing feedback from our guests about how much fun our wedding was, especially the dance party portion. Craig played a huge role by keeping almost everyone on the dance floor the entire time. He also did a great job at supplying music and audio for our ceremony and cocktail hours, as well as acting as our emcee throughout the evening. The best dj ever

I cannot recommend DJ Craig enough! To start, Craig is an all around great guy, genuine, and truly cares about making your wedding ceremony/reception the best it can be. He was super responsive throughout planning as well.
Our ceremony and our reception went off without a single hitch. Craig kept the evening on schedule, was flexible, and most importantly EVERYONE was on the dance floor the whole night! So many guests said how much they loved the healthy mix of music and truly enjoyed the dance floor. Seriously, if you are looking for a DJ, you have to get Craig for your wedding! We wish we could relive that night again!

Do not hesitate book dj craig

This review is LONG overdue is part because I struggled to put into words just how phenomenal DJ Craig is. If you are anything like me the DJ you choose could make or break your wedding and let me tell you Craig blew my expectations out of the water.

He is fun, personable, and insanely helpful in all areas of planning. He was one of the first vendors I booked and the best one by far. I was a covid bride so to say wedding planning was stressful is an understatement but Craig made everything so much easier. He was very flexible with our date change at no additional charge and answered all of my panicked calls and texts.

His talent is truly remarkable as we had a wide variety of music genres to cater to; Disney, 90's punk, rap, the 80s he really did it all, and every transition was so smooth. We had more compliments about the DJ than anything else. All of that to say, save yourself some stress and reach out to DJ Craig NOW.

Hire dj craig!

DJ Craig is THE BEST! Leading up to the big day he was incredibly helpful - from providing uplighting recommendations based on our venue aesthetic, to tips and tricks to get (and keep) our guests on the dance floor. He was an awesome MC and the flow of our reception was so smooth. We received so many compliments from our guests on the music. The best freakin dj!

DJ Craig at Perpetual Sound LLC was the greatest DJ anyone could even consider! He allowed us to curate the type of music we wanted played at all 3 stages of our wedding day (Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Reception and after). He allowed us to create an atmosphere that every single one of our guests has called the most fun wedding ever! That is in large part thanks to Craig. He was able to make it so that everyone of all ages had a ton of fun and was enjoying dancing the whole night! He also worked closely with my wife and me to make our first dance special as well as our dances with our parents as well as our moonlight dance (HIGHLY recommend this). One thing that really set Perpetual Sound LLC apart from the others for us was his ability to make this night fun and about how we wanted our night to be! Perpetual Sound LLC is the BEST option for musical entertainment and wedding day music that you will be able to find and its not close!

DJ Craig was the perfect wedding DJ

I'll just say that all of these 5-star reviews are here for a reason. DJ Craig not only throws a great party, he's super easy to work with, highly communicative, and a fantastic guy. We interviewed so many DJs; we got sick of hearing "I'm gonna make your party sick, it's gonna be the party of the century make some noooiz." DJ Craig is like a normal guy who happens to be the best wedding DJ I've ever seen. We appreciated his mix of being open to input, but also just knowing instinctively how to keep the party rolling. He was fun to work with, and threw us a great party. What more could we have wanted?

We love craig!

We had chosen to prioritize a DJ for our wedding because we wanted a big party and lots of dancing! We didn’t know who to choose, hadn’t found anyone, and one of our friends recommended “the best DJ of any wedding he’s been to” and it happened to be Craig!! We reached out and met up, and immediately signed a contract! We were so happy with his demeanor and kindness and knew he seemed like the life of the party.

Looking back, everyone still talks about how much fun they had and how amazing the music was. Craig made our wedding exactly the party we wanted. He kept everyone dancing, and never broke the pace. He stepped in when the schedule got shifted and helped to make everything go as smooth as possible.

We still keep in touch on Facebook and things, and often refer to him as “everyone’s hype man”. He truly is everyone’s biggest fan and so positive and fun! We are so grateful to have had him for our big day ♥️

Excellent service, great music

DJ Craig Wood created an amazing atmosphere for our October 2020 wedding. Due to circumstances, we had a small group and requested music to match a cocktail reception. During the ceremony, he played every requested song at precisely the right time. He read the room and created an amazing event. The music was always present but never dominating. We were all able to have conversations without yelling. As some people started to dance, he transitioned the mood to keep the small crowd having a great time. Will recommend. 100%

Craig is the DJ you want!

When we had to downsize our wedding, we initally weren't even sure if it made sense to have a DJ, but I'm so so glad that we had Craig. I don't think the wedding would have gone without him. In addition to getting our guests to really throw down on the dance floor (with masks and proper distancing, of course), he also made sure that our ceremony was mic'd perfectly and emcee'd our entire wedding with charm. There were so many little things that he took care of that made it easy for us and our guests to enjoy the day. Even during COVID times, Craig created an amazing celebratory atmosphere and was mindful of wiping down the microphones in between speeches (so thoughtful!). I would recommend Craig in a heartbeat to anyone who is looking for a DJ who knows what he's doing and can party with the best of them!

YOU HAVE TO HIRE THIS MAN FOR YOUR WEDDING!!!!!! If I could give Craig 10/5 stars, I would. He was one of the absolute best investments we made for our wedding. He was flexible and easygoing, an absolute delight to work with, and provided amazing value for the price. He provided mic and sound support for the ceremony, was an amazing emcee during the reception/toasts, and the playlist was FIRE!!! He brought a whimsical, fun, enthusiastic energy to the wedding that made it the party of the year. People still talk about how great the DJ was. Our experience with Craig was wonderful from the very first phone call. He answered every question we had, and was also very responsive to any follow up emails. He followed through with all of our music requests and offered helpful advice throughout the planning process regarding the flow of the reception, which we really appreciated. Everyone had a great time dancing - seriously, the dance floor was PACKED the entire night. In fact, several of our guests commented to us after the wedding about how great the music was! Outstanding!!!

Craig is truly the complete package when it comes to a wedding DJ. Everything from preplanning, timelines, music and lighting. To give you some insight, I wondered how he would keep everyone entertained being that we had such a diverse wedding. Our wedding was a true representation of the "melting pot" with friends and family from all different backgrounds. Either way he did his thing and there wasn't a dry moment. I actually had people come up to me after the wedding asking where did we find this guy because he is awesome. Luckily for my wife and I we know him from highschool. We have also been lucky enough to have been to enough weddings with him as the DJ to know we didn't need to look any further. Now I know that might make you feel like I have a biased opinion, but on the contrary I have quite a few friends that DJ weddings and he is by far the best that I know. I even had a buddy offer to DJ my wedding for free and we still went with Craig instead. I am certain that if you work with him you will be just as satisfied as we are.

I was very particular when choosing my vendors for my wedding. I am not easily blown away. When I say Craig will be the best vendor you have, I am not kidding. He is not only the sweetest person, but he also can throw a BIG party and get your guests dancing (even those guests that typically don't). His uplighting was spectacular, his audio services were amazing. He was so great to work with, and he was SO understanding and really listened to you. Dj craig is the best

DJ Craig is an OUTSTANDING DJ!!! He came highly recommended from two of my very best friends, and he did not disappoint. Jon and I met Craig at a coffee shop about a year before our wedding, and we had the best time just spending time with him. He is super chill and fun to be around, but he is also an extremely talented DJ. Once we started talking about music, I was really impressed with his knowledge and his ability to come up with great songs and ideas off the top of his head.

A month or so before the wedding, Craig sent us a google drive to work on with him. We were able to write out all our song ideas and collaborate with Craig here which was an awesome way to work. The week of our wedding, we had a call with Craig to go through the entire timeline and he was so organized and ready to go!

Craig was AMAZING at the wedding! He took care of our ceremony music, cocktail hour music, and the music at the reception. I don't know how he did it, but he really killed it! The music was all on point, and our guests were dancing the entire night! He knew exactly what to play and when to play it, and I can't recommend Craig enough. If you are looking for a DJ, then go with DJ CRAIG!!!!

Professional, talented, and great to work with.

Craig was fantastic to work with. His passion for his craft is obvious. Our initial consult was very informative and straightforward. Our communications during the months leading up to the big day were just as easy- he provided guidance on both music and the event itself. He was flexible and more than reasonable accommodating last minute changes, including some major ones that through a lot of chaos into the week before the wedding. His work pre-wedding was enough for a five star review in itself.
The reception went off as well as we hoped. As an MC Craig was very professional and personable- he was authentic and excited without being overbearing or trying to be a center of attention; he kept things moving when they needed prodding and helped restore some order when they didn't. Craig was great on the decks, even working in some electronic music we requested (thoughtfully waiting until the bride and I were on the floor to drop some Gareth Emery), and had an extensive library of tracks. He read the room and kept a great balance of up and down tempo tracks so that the dance floor was never empty. I can honestly say that he was the best wedding DJ I've seen, in terms of both skill and execution.
Overall we cannot say enough good things about Craig and Perpetual Sound. We'd hire him in a heartbeat for any other events in the DC/NOVA area and would recommend him to anyone.

I don’t even know where to begin! Craig was my favorite vendor to work with! He really listened to me and what my vision was with my wedding day music. My dance floor was packed the entire wedding! Best wedding DJ!

Perfect balance of professional + dance party -- brought the house down!

We loved having Craig DJ and emcee our wedding! We hit it off with him right away over the phone, and our photographer recommended him so they worked very well together. We attended four other weddings this year beside our own, and Craig's DJ'ing was the most consistent, with no dead zones or misfires -- he truly knows how to read the audience. Craig helped us shape a great playlist of must haves (as well as some "do not plays"), and we had fun proposing songs and getting his feedback on them. Craig then put his expert skills to use mixing and adding additional songs to make a truly awesome dance party. He is also happy to play slower music or whatever you like -- but we didn't want that, and he delivered 100%. Our dance floor was rocking the entire night! We have great memories of the night and awesome photos to match. We would recommend Craig to anyone and hope to attend an event where he is DJ'ing again soon!

Best of the Best...

If you want to have a DJ who will make your event memorable, then you have found him! DJ Craig is the ultimate. He is personable, professional and and extraordinary at his craft! I had a blow out 50th birthday and my guests raved about Craig that night- and over a month later I am still getting such positive feedback from my guests about him. Without a doubt, he transformed a great event into a spectacular one. Craig is genuinely interested in making your event special. The equipment he provides is top notch and he has an innate ability to read a crowd like no other DJ that I have ever experienced! Sure, he gets a list of your likes and dislikes, but he doesn’t just make a play list prior to the event and then make a few changes here and there during the event. He does sooooo much more than that- he actively watches the scene to determine the pulse of the crowd, has a read on what type of music is keeping your guests on the dance floor, and then plays such great tunes that no one wants to leave (the dance floor or the party)!! His song selection is vast and varied- in honor of my 50th he played tunes from all five decades all the way from classic rock to electronic new age! He is the Pied Piper of Parties- he doesn’t need any gimmicks to get guests dancing- he just applies his craft and people head to the dance floor! If you want the best of the best for your event, you don’t have to look any further… Craig is your guy!

Craig deserves more than 5 stars!

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. Craig was so wonderful from start to finish. He was incredibly friendly and helpful answering my questions before we even booked him, and once we did, he was flexible, knowledgeable, and super accommodating. He has a very easy system to organize what songs you want at your wedding and even assists with organizing your reception time line.
Our dance floor was packed the entire night. He played a really good mix of old and new and transitioned from song to song at the right times. Everyone told me afterwards that they loved the music and had a blast dancing.
He doesn’t try to make awkward jokes on the mic or make the night about him the way I’ve seen some DJs do. But he is still an incredibly personable, friendly vendor. I always enjoyed speaking with him and didn’t stress once about the music.

Amazing DJ!

DJ Craig Wood was an incredible choice for our wedding!! His talent truly brought all of our friends and family together. You would have thought they all had known each other for years. Amazing DJ!

We are so happy we went with DJ Craig Wood! Throughout the night we received so many compliments on how good the DJ was. The dance floor was packed all night and people had an amazing time. Best DJ ever

Craig is an incredible DJ. He DJ'd our wedding in June, and I cannot tell you how many guests made comments like: "that was the best wedding dance party I've experienced", "who was your DJ? the music selection was incredible!", etc etc. People just couldn't stop talking about how awesome the music was. This was especially impressive since our guests were extremely international (Europe, Latin America, US, Australia, NZ, Asia, etc), and keeping all of them dancing and on the dance floor was something we were really nervous about. We wanted to be sure no one felt excluded, and despite a variety of tastes in music, Craig kept everyone on the dance floor and pumped all night! Beyond that, he did an incredible lighting job at the venue, took GoPro videos for us, and was super organized and responsive leading up to the wedding. He's also one of the most genuinely enthusiastic and kind people I've every met. I cannot recommend him enough.

Craig was recommended by a friend of mine. Craig was the DJ at my wedding and absolutely did not disappoint. His ability to feel a crowd left us with no breaks from the dance floor throughout the entire reception. On top of being an outstanding DJ, he's a pleasant, level-headed person that can handle flexibility if other vendors create changes for him last-minute. On a scale of 10, he's 100. Guests from my wedding are still telling me how thrilled they were that the party did not stop that night.

Fantastic DJ!

Craig was the DJ for my best friend’s wedding and when I got engaged, he was the second vendor I booked (right after the venue), because he is just THAT good! From the start, Craig was incredibly professional, warm, and flexible, and I knew we were in good hands. I have been to some weddings with some nightmare DJ’s. Craig is the OPPOSITE of that.

Craig totally understood the vision that my husband and I wanted for our New Year’s Eve wedding and boy did he deliver! The uplights looked amazing, we had an epic dance party, and the dance floor was never empty! Craig does such a good job reading the vibe of the room and playing off of that. As a result, everyone is still talking about how amazing our DJ was! Please hire Craig, he’s an excellent DJ, super professional, so much fun to be around, hilarious, and you absolutely won’t regret having him.

Best dj ever!

DJ Craig Wood was an absolute BLAST! We were so lucky to find such a down to earth + fun DJ for our wedding day! From start to finish, he always had a smile on his face and aimed to make all our wishes come true! For our father daughter dance, we had DJ Craig mix up a special track which turned out to be such a great part of the night. Our guests were obsessed with him + loved the energy he created for the reception. We cannot thank him enough for all the hard work he put in for our wedding!

Kept the dance floor filled the whole time!

Craig is so great to work with! He got to know us over several planning calls and created the perfect soundtrack for our wedding! He made chose music so personal to us and kept the dance floor filled the entire reception!!

Great Experience!

Lives up to Reputation- Best Night Ever!

DJ Craig Wood was truly exceptional in giving us the wedding of our dreams. We, along with our guests, never wanted to leave the dance floor. He helped us plan out timeline with first dances, speeches, etc. and stuck to our don't play/must play lists. He asked us what type of artists and music we liked for cocktail hour and played all of our favorite songs from Alabama Shakes, Etta James and Nina Simone.

His equipment and lighting was also very sleek and top notch- the speakers were sleek and white and blended seamlessly with the decor. He listens to exactly what you are looking for and takes it 10 levels higher. Highly recommend DJ Craig Wood if you want the wedding/event of your dreams.

Craig Wood brings simply the best

We had the pleasure of Craig, of Perpetual Sound, DJ our June wedding in Baltimore (on his birthday)! We chased him down after seeing his magic at my husband's brother's wedding and were so thrilled when he was available! From the initial conversations to big day, Craig was an absolute gem. He provided multiple easy to read documents to help us navigate the wedding world. He truly helped with so much more than "just music". He was always professional and always available for "am I crazy" conversations! He was able to remind me that I was still sane and helped us create the best and most memorable day of our lives. We danced the night away and had so many compliments! Thank you so much Craig for everything!

Craig is the DJ you want for your wedding

DJ Craig exceeded all our expectations! He was actually one of the first vendors we booked because he DJed my cousin's wedding and my husband and I had such a blast dancing at her wedding that we knew we wanted him for ours and he was willing to travel from VA to upstate New York to DJ our wedding. Craig made the experience absolutely painless and was such a pleasure to work with. Even when Hurricane Florence threatened to disrupt his travel schedule, he proactively reached out to me first and assured me he was tracking the weather and would leave a day early if necessary to be certain he wouldn't miss our wedding.
Our friends and family danced the entire night away. The dance floor wasn't empty for one moment after the music start. Craig does such a great job of reading the room and keeping the party going. Plus, he doesn't over insert himself like some DJs are prone to do. Our wedding photographer (who has been in the business 15+ years) even told us Craig was in the top 3 DJs he's ever heard at a wedding. Craig 100% made my life easier and what more could you want on your wedding day?!

Craig was AMAZING! He did the music for our ceremony, our cocktail hour, and our reception and also was the emcee for our reception and it was all flawless. He was incredibly organized and prepared for every situation, even our last minute change in ceremony location due to rain. During our first meeting he had answered all of our "what if" questions (even ones we hadn't thought of) before we even asked them. He was so easy to work with and made planning our reception timeline so much easier with his Google Doc template and song suggestion lists that he shared with us. We had so many guests (young and old) come up to us at the wedding, again after we posted our pictures from the reception, and also just randomly weeks later... all to say our DJ was the best. And he honestly was the best! We even got compliments on the background music during cocktail hour and dinner. Plus our dance floor was packed the entire night! Craig - we can't thank you enough!
