Reissa was wonderful!

My husband and I could not have asked for a better person to marry us. Reissa was kind, professional, and a joy to work with. She provided us with a warm and memorable ceremony. We were very pleased with the way she listened to our requests and paid attention to detail. We would highly recommend her!

A most heartfelt ceremony

Reissa was our officiant for our vow renewal in St. Croix. We could not have been happier with the ceremony. Reissa contacted us well in adavnce of the event and worked with us on choosing several readings and incorprorated our son into the ceremony as well. Her words were heartfelt and truly beautiful and I was holding back my own tears throughout th event! I highly reccommend Reissa and her company for any wedding or vow renewal.

Loved our experience

We loved Reverend Reissa and are so grateful to her for all the information and guidance she provided to us before our wedding ceremony. She gave ample advice, directions, and templates and allowed us the flexibility to incorporate our own requests. We could not have been more lucky to have selected her in this process. Our ceremony was perfect and we both felt so comfortable with her. What a dream!

Very intimate and thoughtful

Reissa Leigh was a wonderful officiant and delivered a beautiful elopement service. She was very thoughtful and had many readings to choose from. Ultimately we decided to write our own vows which she gave us great advice and feedback on.

Wedding officiant for our elopement

Reissa was a wonderful officiant. She got to know us a bit over the phone and then came to our hotel a few days before the wedding to go over everything. We were able to customize the wedding with readings and our own vows. It was a wonderful ceremony and a special day.

Getting married away from home, I was worried about finding someone we both connected with and felt comfortable with, but that is exactly what we found in Reverend Reissa Leigh. She took the time to speak with me prior to our arrival for us to start to get to know each other a bit and answer any questions I had. She met with both of us prior to the ceremony, reviewed the ceremony to make sure it was exactly what we wanted, and again answered any questions we had. We eloped, and our ceremony was very intimate. She made sure to give us our space and time for our first look and even had extra tissues for me when I cried tears of joy! We felt relaxed, never rushed, and the ceremony and readings were lovely. We really love the way our ceremony was presented. Everything was so professional but also so very comfortable. I could go on and on, but I will say that my husband and I both highly recommend Reverend Reissa Leigh.

Reissa was absolutely wonderful. We talked on the phone prior to coming down to St Croix for almost an hour! Her warmness and caring continued over into our meeting at the resort before our wedding. I felt like I was having a family friend marry us! She comes with our highest recommendation and we will definitely be having her renew our vows when the time comes!

I would like to say Thank you to Reissa for everything! If you are looking for an officiant for your wedding I highly recommend Reissa, I guarantee you will not regret it! As they say, "this is one of the most important things you will ever do in your life." So stress is normal, anxiety, checking and rechecking are all normal. What's speical about Reissa Leigh? She is more than an officiant, Mrs. Leigh was a very knowledgeable and helpful in many ways. Reissa supersede our expectations from the set-up to local professional that could add to the wedding, while being mindfull of our budget. Mrs. Leigh gave suggestions, and one in particular stood out and that was the SAND CEREMONY. Reissa enjoys her work and it shows through her thoughtfulness and getting to know her clients. Reissa allowed our unique speical event be the untraditional wedding that we planned and dreamed of. Truely one of the BEST days in our lives. Reissa ROCKS..

What can I say.. I would not have been able to figure all the details with out Reissa Leigh! She was there to answer questions, and helping to check and make sure all my paperwork was complete! She really knows everyone there on the island and made everything go as smoothly as it possibly could. She was professional, caring and you can tell she really enjoys her job. Rissa is an amazing person and provided us with the BEST service as well as information! Because of the tragic hurricane that hit this most amazing island, we were unable to get married at our location. Rissa called me after using her generator to charge her phone. (WOW!) She wanted to know if we were still planning on getting married in December, 2017. We of course did and she assisted me in our planning. She has the BEST contacts! We were able to secure a location, get our cake, food, photographer, and of course the BEST officiant on the island! She told us exactly what to do for our license and went well beyond her "job title." We have fallen in love with St. Croix, and Rissa. We feel like she has become a member of our family and we can never repay her for making sure our wedding was everything and more- despite Mother Nature!

Reissa was great. Without her assistance our wedding may not have gone as planned. She knows the area, knows the people and understands what it takes to get married in St. Croix. I would recommend her to anyone because I know she will do whatever it takes to perform a successful event.

Fantastic experience with our officiant Reissa Leigh! She helped us have all the necessary documents in order prior our arrival and wonderful to visit with the day before our ceremony. The ceremony was spectacular, Reissa has such a strong voice and put real meaning to the words spoken with her emphasis and caring voice!

I would give Reissa a 5+ on all of the categories! When I first reached out to her, her initial response provided so much detail. We live in Florida, so this was a destination wedding for us; she was the very first thing I booked! Not knowing a thing about St. Croix, she helped guide me with so many things (where to stay, etc.). Reissa really goes above and beyond. My husband and I could not have asked for a better wedding ceremony! If you are looking to book an officiant, I wouldn't look any further!

Reverend Reissa Leigh is awesome! I was a little nervous about planning a destination wedding but Reissa immediately put my mind at ease. Reissa provided us with a complete list of photographers, florists, hairstylists, etc. and had many suggestions of restaurants and fun places to visit while on the island. She also assisted us by providing a list of exactly what we needed to send to the Superior Court in order to obtain our license and when we arrived, put us in contact with a wonderful driver to take us to the Courthouse to pick it up. Reissa was very responsive to all of my emails, text messages and phone calls and would even send me reminders of things to be done. She performed our ceremony exactly as we had planned and it was like having a friend there putting a voice to the readings we had selected instead of someone we had just met. Her attention to every detail and all of her experience made our wedding everything we wanted and more! I wish I could give her more than 5 stars!

Cannot say enough about how wonderful Reissa Leigh was in performing our ceremony!! We unexpectedly had a quick business trip planned to St. Croix, and because we renew our vows every year, decided we would do so there if we could pull it together in 3 weeks. Reissa was quick to respond, and literally took the time to speak with me at least several times before we even arrived, and multiple emails to get an idea of exactly what we wanted for our ceremony. She gave us names of other vendors for flowers and photography, and even suggested dinner places for our special day. She was not only a beautiful officiant, but an utmost professional and paid attention to every last detail. We can't thank her enough for making our ceremony special and truly 'ours', and would highly recommend her!

Reissa made our Wedding Day very special. She went above and beyond to help plan our special day recommeding locations, photographer, and more. The day was perfect and we couldn't have pulled it off long distance without her. We are very fortunate to have found Reissa to plan and officiate our wedding. Reissa did a phenomenal job ensuring that our wedding went smoothly as can be - We had an issue with our marriage license paperwork and she was exceptionally helpful and volunteered to go the extra mile to make sure we didn't run into any hiccups. Her suggestions for readings, the ceremony, photographer, etc. were perfect. Although we'll never use her services again (you only get married once!) we would highly recommend her to anyone who is planning a wedding in St. Croix!

I highly recommend Mrs. Reissa Leigh ! If you are looking for a stress-free process look no further. Our day was perfectly imperfect as I like to say, it was laid back and carefree just like we wanted. Mrs. Leigh was lighthearted and funny but also extremely professional. She was in contact with us regularly leading up to our special day, to make sure that we had everything taken care of. Planning a vow renewal from afar was a bit challenging but Mrs. Leigh provided us with different options and suggestions (regarding the renewal and family oriented activities) that absolutely made the process simple. Our vow renewal was held in The Renaissance St. Croix Carambola Beach Resort & Spa on 01/02/2017 and with four kids in tow ages 12,8,6,2 she absolutely understood our desire for something short and sweet! We couldn't have asked for anything better!

Reissa is a wonderful officiant. Her template for putting together our ceremony was easy to follow. She had great options and ideas. You ca make your ceremony has long or short has you like. On September 28, 2016 was the most amazing day of our lives!!!! Rev. Reissa made everything perfect and that much easier. She was absolutely the BEST!!!! She helped with everything from wedding jitters to wedding preparations. Rev. Reissa welcomed us with open arms and an open heart, she made us feel like family. You can tell she has been doing this for years, because as hectic and exciting as this moment was she definitely kept it it together. Her warmth and professionalism made us feel secure and joyous to have her guidance. The fact that she has opened her heart and home to us made it that much easier to trust in her. She was loving and caring, if we had a chance to choose again it would definitely be HER!!!! Thank you so much Rev. Reissa for making our day unforgettable!!!! Reverend Reissa is a very special officiant and a very special person. I knew immediately that she would be our choice for our wedding in St. Croix. We were in a bind about a month out when our original officiant (a family member) had not yet confirmed. I had a few choices that were referred by the hotel (Palms at Pelican Cove) and I called her first. She put me at ease right away, and the process of setting everything up was very easy and convenient due to her impeccable organizational skills. I especially liked her sample service which was so different and more meaningful than any I had ever seen before. It included a reading from my favorite book, The Prophet by Khalil Gibran. She was open and willing to change anything that we wanted. She even went over and above before the wedding by finding a place for us to rent a portable podium with a wireless microphone which she picked up and dropped back off! Last but not least, she never missed a beat when it started pouring down raining at the end of our wedding. We saw it as abundant Blessings on our new life together ??

Absolutely the most amazing angelic voice and spirit!! Reissa and I planned and prepared our wedding TOGETHER, she was so helpful and attentive. She was so devoted to ensuring that every single detail of our ceremomy was pure perfection, and it was. The wedding date is so important and has such meaning to our family, and with just a month to plan and prepare for this blessed day Reissa was a gift from above!! So informative about every specific detail that the Superior Court would require for our Licensing and Certificate of Marriage. She and I were determined to have our sunset beach ceremony as planned. Reissa was so great to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. We met her two times prior to the wedding day, so once the wedding came it felt like we knew her! Reissa was fabulous! Because of our busy schedule we were not able to meet in person prior to the wedding but it felt like she had known us for years when she performed the ceremony. This was a second wedding for both my husband and myself so we wanted things to be a little less traditional than a first wedding. Reissa worked very well with us to create a perfect ceremony for us and it was just that perfect! We cannot recommend her enough!

We had such a wonderful wedding ceremony with Reissa, and we are so glad that she officiated our ceremony!

My husband and I decided to do an elopement style ceremony at the Harvard Arboretum, so finding the right officiant to make our intimate ceremony meaningful was very important to us. Well, Reissa definitely delivered.

Reissa responded to my initial inquiry very quickly, and we started off with a phone call with her. We immediately liked her warmth and openness, so we decided to meet with her in person at a Starbucks so she could get to know us more. We chatted for an hour, which was wonderful because we felt that the ceremony would be officiated by someone who knew us and our story well.

Reissa gave us the ceremony text in advance so that we could edit it as we wished. I kept it exactly as she designed it, though, because it was truly beautiful.

The day of the ceremony, Reissa arrived to our early morning ceremony spot early, which was very nice for us. And most importantly, Reissa's words and delivery at our wedding ceremony were incredibly meaningful and beautiful. I admit, she had me in tears in no time :)

Overall, we are so happy that Reissa was not only part of our day, but made our ceremony committing our lives to each other incredibly special and meaningful. We highly recommend Reissa to others looking for an officiant for a large, formal wedding, an intimate elopement or anything in between.

Outstanding! Excellent to work with. An easy template to start with and add or subtract from. I especially did not want a religious ceremony and my wife is from Thailand which has its own customs and nuances. So we were married in a Thai restaurant and had the reception there as well about 55 people. Many guests complemented us that it was the most intimate warm wedding they had ever attended. Even the bride's mother said that! We had a rather short ceremony about 15-20 minutes followed by about 30 minutes of photos. All in all the the wedding was 10 times better than I or anyone expected. And everyone cried. And I mean everyone. Reissah is the BEST!

You would never think, initially, when starting to plan your wedding day that an officiant would be so difficult to choose. It was for us! We wanted someone who we could feel comfortable with and someone we could trust to do our ceremony the way we wanted. Reissa was wonderful. I'm talking amazing. She was so professional, warm, & friendly that after we first met her- I said to my then fiancé in the car- "she is exactly who I always imagined our officiant would be". We instantly felt so comfortable with Reissa. She came to the table with experience and suggestions, while totally being open to any custom things we wanted to include, or portions we wanted to take out. She was able to accommodate a knot tying ceremony beautifully for us although she mentioned she hadn't done one before, you would have never known. Many friends and family commented on how beautiful and "perfect" our ceremony was. I couldn't agree more.
She's is just great! Highly recommended from this happy couple!

Reissa was the first person we worked with when planning our wedding. I wish every aspect was as easy as working with her! She was wonderful. My husband and I were referred to Reissa Leigh by our wedding planner after several failed interviews with other potential deacons/ministers/officiants. We really were looking for someone who would be willing and eager to help us personalize our wedding ceremony and make it feel like "us." We found exactly what we were looking for in Reissa! She is friendly, full of energy, and full of both ideas and experience when it comes to personalizing a ceremony and making it as special as possible. She really took the time to get to know both my husband and myself, and was able to offer suggestions and recommendations in terms of potential readings, what to include/what not to include, how to order the pieces of the ceremony, etc. Our wedding had a wine/harvest theme to it, and Reissa was able to help us design a wine ceremony to pull that theme into the actual marriage ceremony itself. She was very responsive (we were planning our MA wedding from CA, so responsiveness was very important to us), professional, and an absolute joy to work with. She is a great person, and having her perform our marriage ceremony really made it feel that much more special to us. I would recommend her in a heartbeat and both my husband I are so glad to have met her =)

Reissah was awesome! She was very professional from beginning to end! She came to my house in all the way in Saugus to meet my spouse and even convinced my spouse to have a sand ceremony! (He is shy and hard to persuade)
At the ceremony she spoke very clear! And my family and friends adored her! A few friends even wanted her buisness cards!

We could not have hoped for a better Officant than Reissa. Most of all we would like to thank her very much for her patience and understanding she showed us, during the time we were busy planning and preparing our wedding. From the very first day we met with Reissa she was very professional, punctual, and showed that she cared for making sure that our special day runs smoothly. Reissa was incredible to work with throughout the whole wedding process. From the beginning it was clear that she cared about us as people and as a couple; we weren't just another client. Whenever there were deadlines for information, Reissa was sure to let us know well in advance; while remembering that we were still juggling work and wedding planning.

We got married in June 2012. Reissa was our wedding officiant, and we are very pleased with how she handled the ceremony and helped us preparing it. The ceremony and the reception were held in our garden at our house, and required somewhat special preparation, as we wanted it to be really unique.
Reissa was diligent and constructive, she agreed to come to our house prior the wedding day, and she gave us a lot of very useful advice. All along, it was very easy and pleasant to communicate with her. She is a very open-minded person. We added a lot of our own text and poems to the original text that Reissa provided, and she was very supportive and willing to incorporate our suggestions. It was a real pleasure and fun to work together with her. We were also very happy with how she handled the ceremony. She was very organized and professional. And, although we didn’t have a professional wedding coordinator, everything went smoothly and we had a beautiful and a very unique wedding, just the way we dreamed it would be. We are very grateful to Reissa for all her help and support. We highly recommend her as a wedding officiant.

Reissa was the officiant at our wedding. It was important for my husband and me to find an officiant who was non-denominational since neither of us are very religious. Since we didn't have a close friend or family member who could serve as our officiant, it was very important for us to find someone who was warm and still made the ceremony feel intimate and special. Reissa was perfect for this! The second we met her it felt like we had known her for some time. I felt very comfortable with her and we were able to talk openly about what we wanted for our ceremony.

Reissa was also extremely flexible and allowed us to alter the wording of the ceremony until we were 100% happy. She offered to meet with us as many times as we needed which is unheard of with most officiants. Best of all, she constantly kept us on track with writing our promises to each other and making sure we get our marriage license on time. This is a huge help through all the chaos during a wedding!

My husband and I were very happy that Reissa was the officiant for our special day and would recommend her to anyone else.

we had a two days to plan the wedding that included finding a officiant.
Reissa Leigh was quick to pull together the vows and some words that fit us to a tee! it was although she knew us forever. She was very professional and very sweat. The wedding went very smooth...even though I was late coming down the isle...LOL what women isn't. I would highly recommend Reissa to any of my friends or accquantes neededing an officiant.

Reissa was great, just make sure she knows the flow of people walking down for the ceremony. Ours was different, and we forewarned her ahead of time given our unique situation, but, it worked out for the best. Quick, simple, to the point. No complaints here. Just make sure to get your paperwork done well ahead of time, and send it down to the Superior Courts about a month in advance just so you don't have to worry about it. That will also give you time to redo any documents that may have been done incorrectly to be redone and submitted before the 8 day waiting period. Reissa had our official additional copies of the marriage certificate sent the next day and we're at our house by the time we got back from our honeymoon 5 days later. 2 thumbs up for Reissa.

On a side note: the fee for Reissa listed below is only for Reissa's services. There are additional fees that are through the Court that she does not have control over, which are 2 certified cashiers checks for $100 each, and there may be another if you can not do the 8 day waiting period, but, we did not have to pay it personally.
