Performance Entertainment (Matt) is the single best decision we made during our wedding planning process. He was truly so organized that our day went perfectly. Matt is above and beyond in every regard. He is so insanely responsive. He is kind and caring. Every discussion with Matt during the planning process was truly a pleasure, and at each encounter my husband and I left feeling as though he had everything under control. He is a multitasking professional! Not only did he manage our music, provide MC services, and lighting but he also provided a zoom stream and drone video of our day. How amazing! Can't recommend him highly enough! -

Matt DiAno is hands down the BEST DJ in the Denver Area
It's hard to put into words how amazing Matt was without repeating what's already been said, but it really cannot be overstated just how INCREDIBLE he was as our wedding DJ. From our very first email exchange, it was clear that Matt was different. He was extremely friendly and easy to talk to, knowledgable about ALL things wedding, truly passionate about his craft. He assured me throughout the entire planning process that I could come to him with any concerns I was having, and that we would work through them together, and he wasn't kidding -- any time anything came up, I remembered to reach out to him and let him know, and he squashed my anxieties immediately. He is a wedding planner + DJ + friend all in one; his problem solving skills and quick thinking is truly impressive, and they are something that only wedding circuit experts would possess. Even as the night went on, he made a point to check in on us and make sure we were eating, drinking enough water, and keeping us aware of what was coming next in the night. He takes a personal, individualized interest in each wedding he attends, and we could feel his energy threaded throughout the entire playlist he curated for our big day. He truly listens deeply to his clients, and couples their music suggestions with his own expertise, and for our wedding, the result was a playlist that had almost every single one of our wedding guests out on the dance floor the entire night, from the first song after the customary first dances, to our last private bride & groom dance (we literally had to force our guests off the dance floor!). Everyone complimented, and still continues to compliment the DJ from our wedding, letting us know that it was one of the most fun weddings they had ever been to, and while we may be biased, we'd have to agree, and that is SOLELY due to Matt. We cannot recommend him enough! -

Party of the Decade!
My husband and I had the best experience working with Matt to DJ our wedding. Matt is organized, helpful, fun, and responsive. He helped manage our timeline and plan out the event before and during the wedding. On the big day, he helped to make sure everything ran smoothly and on schedule--our day-of-coordinator loved working with Matt. And the dance floor was AMAZING! Absolutely packed the entire night. Since our wedding, I've had so much feedback from friends and family (of all ages and music preferences) tell us it was one of the most fun weddings they've attended and the most lively dance floor they've seen at a wedding. We enjoyed all of our meetings with Matt and appreciated his help and willingness to DJ for our remote mountain wedding at a friend's property (not a venue). I will recommend Matt to everyone I know! -

We are so grateful that we had Matt there on our big day! Leading up to the wedding, he was super communicative and always got back to us with our questions so quickly. We were able to schedule multiple planning calls leading up to the wedding. He has a ton of experience and was able to even help us think through some of the wedding planning. He uses an app for playlists so it is simple to add songs and customize as much as you want.
During our wedding day, we had a lot of rain and had to rearrange some of the venue and the order of events. Matt was able to lead the charge with this and be flexible to still make our day great and include all of our important moments.
He also had literally 100% of our guests on the dance floor and kept the party going!
We would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding day! -

I was working as a venue manager in 2019 at a local wedding venue and Matt was so attentive and professional while working my clients weddings, this is why we hired him in the first place! Well the pandemic hit and Matt has stuck by our side while we postponed our wedding twice and he has been nothing but incredible. Hiring him was the single best decision we could have made for our wedding. He made our day and the last three years go so smoothly. He communicated with us within hours every time we had questions, he helped us put together a timeline, he provided lighting and his wife provided us with a photo booth. He was also honestly just so fun to work with that I am kind of sad it's over! Thank you for sticking by us and making our day such a party! -

Book Matt, you will not regret it! My husband and I got married in April and cannot express how much we appreciated Matt and his services. We are from out of state and Matt met with us multiple times before the wedding which helped answer any questions we had. The app he/ you use makes song selection a breeze that allows you to have control. If you need suggestions, he was also there to help! He was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure our day was memorable. As examples, my husband and I wanted a song that was a bit too fast for our first dance, Matt not only slowed the song down, he gave us 3 versions that we could use, which we provided to our dance instructor before the wedding. Additionally, the song we wanted for our private last dance did not release until the day of our wedding. Matt reached out first thing to let me know that he was able to get the song. I honestly cannot thank Matt enough, if he's not at the top of your list, please reconsider!

Matt Diano will wear many hats the night of your wedding. He will be your DJ/MC, yes. And he will do that with style and flair. But somehow along the way he becomes a friend, a confidant, an assistant planner, and a talk you off of the cliffer. In all seriousness. The night goes by so fast but when I close my eyes what I see is all of my guests on the dance floor having a great time. And in the background is Matt Diano running to orchestrate the next something or other - all while the music transitions perfectly and no one even notices the next thing being put on deck. If you're looking to get married in the Denver area, book Matt! My husband and I just got married at the Barn at Sunset Ranch in Buena Vista and we couldn't be happier we went with Performance Entertainment. Matt was absolutely amazing. He was responsive and met with us multiple times before the big day to ensure we had every last detail planned out perfectly. Not only did he make sure we had the perfect songs picked for each section of our wedding, but he really helped us set up our wedding timeline. The DJ setup is classy, with a white booth and Matt will bring extra lights to set up that will match your ceremony colors. He will also give you the option to let your guests make song requests by scanning a QR code, which was a big hit at our wedding so everyone got to dance to their favorite songs. Matt is a truly amazing person who cares about the couples he works with. Every time we met, he had a new story from his most recent wedding, beaming over how much fun it was. His genuine enjoyment for what he does shines through in his work, and we feel like we couldn't have made a better decision when we went with Performance Entertainment. -

I don't even know where to start... there are too many great things to say! We hired Matt for our 2020 wedding back in early 2019. He was so attentive and responsive to all of our inquiries. When covid hit, he was incredibly easy to work with as we navigated having to reschedule everything for 2021. Leading up to our reception, we had several calls with him, and he was on top of everything! When we mentioned most of our wedding party couldn't attend, he offered alternatives for speeches, like zoom and prerecorded speeches. When we said we wanted a sparkler exit, he graciously offered to not only get the sparklers, but provide blowtorches and sand to put them out. When several of our guests needed vegetarian meals, he went out of his way to get it taken care of with the venue as not to bother us! I will recommend Matt to anybody with any kind of celebration. He was amazing and all of our guests thought so too! Thank you matt! You made our day so special!! -

This is probably going to be a very odd review but I had to do it for the sake of Matt and his business. I was planning on getting married 09/16/2021 but five days prior I had to end up canceling due to our daughter coming down with COVID. It was quite the decision but I could not help walk away from refunds, communication, etc. without writing a review for him. Without a doubt, the process of this wedding with Matt has been nothing but short of amazing. From his promptness, to his answers to my questions within 5-30 minutes, to him scheduling meetings to being so friendly, he by far tops the charts for recognition. It has been such an emotional last few days but I could not have asked for a better experience with this guy. I say if I ever decide to go ahead a wedding ceremony again (we canceled due to pregnancy, possibly dress not fitting in the near future and flu season coming up), and not head to a beach to get married, I would hire him in a heartbeat. PICK HIM and you will not regret your choice not only on your special day, but prepping for it. He is seamless, easy to talk to and honestly acts like your own personal wedding planner. He is the real deal and WHOLE package. Thank you Matt for being such a blessing! -

I want to start by saying how much Matt helped make our wedding this last Sunday, 8/8/21, go smoothly. Not only does he follow-up with you to make sure that your music is perfect for you, but he really went above and beyond. I know people use that phrase often, but with Matt it was different. We had some - to say the least here - problems with our wedding planner. Matt was the one who crafted our schedule, put the details together, and showed GENUINE care for us. He helped our playlist be perfect. So many guests came up to us and told us how awesome his music was. He made sure there was something for everyone. He was the absolute perfect DJ. If you want an incredible wedding, choose him. I promise you that you will be endlessly happy! AND when we forgot our phot booth pictures at the venue, he collected them and made an album for us, and overnight mailed it to us!! I cannot believe how amazing he is and how lucky we were to have him! -

The best!
Matt DiAno was the best vendor we had for our wedding and exceeded our DJ expectations by far. He is professional, kind, positive, and incredibly hard working and we will be recommending him to all of our friends who are getting married! During the wedding planning, he responded to any question we had in a few minutes and was the best at communication. He goes above and beyond with everything he does, explains thoroughly, always has suggestions to get you thinking and planning and had great suggestions to help pick our other vendors. He kept us on track with wedding planning by having a few video calls scheduled and sending reminders every so often!
One of my favorite things for the wedding is the audio and video Matt took. We did not have a videographer, but Matt sent us the audio recording of our ceremony as well as the speeches. He had Drone videos and pictures he took during the ceremony which are incredible!! I never saw or heard the drone and he made sure to be licensed and prepared to get great video!!
Matt uses a fantastic music app that has categories for every wedding event you can add songs to. Each event in the app has song suggestions, or you can add songs from Spotify/Youtube. Matt was meticulous and made sure he was playing the right song version and for the right amount of time. We got so many compliments from our guests about Matt’s great MCing and the music he played at the reception! Matt kept the night moving, upbeat, and the guests in the loop about anything that was happening. During our ceremony we had two friends perform a song and Matt was so accommodating and communicative about making sure everything would run flawlessly and have great sound! Also, our officiant loved having a wireless mic and being hands free! Wedding planning was so much fun and stress free because of vendors like Matt! 12/10 stars, seriously, book him!! -

Everything Matt did for us was perfect. He really set the tone for our day. We instantly felt confident and comfortable with Matt when we met him. Like he was a friend we knew forever. He pays attention to the details and had questions for us about songs and moments we didn't even think of. It started raining right before our outdoor ceremony and Matt rolled with the punches relocating sound to under our tents. He had a clip on microphone for our officiant, cordless mics for readings and speakers so our guests that were now under two different tents and a patio could hear everything. Music was right on que. Oh, forgot to mention he works with this app where I could select and download songs as I thought of them to add to our wedding playlist. You could also mark "do not play songs" or "must haves." The reception music was so perfect. The dance floor was full all night. The sign of a good DJ. Perfect flow. I can't thank Matt enough for making our wedding day perfect. -

Matt goes above and beyond in all that he does. He made sure every detail was covered, including creating a custom mixed song for my surprise father daughter dance, offering to live stream our ceremony on zoom when our family couldn’t make it due to COVID (he offered, I didn’t even have to ask), bringing us sparklers for our exit, and professionally handling covid wedding announcements. Wow, Matt was the most incredible vendor, I'm not even sure I'll be able to put into words how pleased we were with him throughout our wedding planning process!! Let's be honest, planning a wedding during a worldwide pandemic was not fun! But I can't even count the number of times that Matt put us at ease. His dedication to detail and thorough communication were out of this world! I would recommend Matt to anyone I know getting married or needing DJ services. He goes above and beyond and truly cares about the couples he works with and making their day the best possible. He even picked up sparklers for us for our sparkler exit. With fire bans we weren't able to use them but he improvised with a glowstick tunnel and it nearly brought me to tears! He live streamed our ceremony so that our guests who were not comfortable attending/ traveling could still share our special day with us. Matt did such a good job with the utmost level of communication, flexibility, knowledge, experience, and organization! He was able to reschedule with our new wedding date due to COVID and kept us on top of our planning. The app he uses enables us to easily add songs and adjust the schedule whenever we need! He took care of the lighting, drone footage of the processional, all the announcements and of course the music! Bonus was he brought giant beer pong to our wedding for guest entertainment. We received audio files right after our wedding and drone footage of our ceremony within a couple weeks. It was quite amazing and my husband and I are forever grateful we had Matt as our DJ/Emcee. Yes, you need a Wedding DJ... Matt is the best choice.
When my wife and I first started planning our wedding, I told her that I would handle the AV myself. I worked AV throughout college and knew what I was doing. Jump to our wedding day... I couldn't have done it without Matt.
From start to finish, Matt made everything run smoothly and kept a ton of stress off of our back. Just knowing everything is going to work is something you need more of on your wedding day. You don't want to be running around fiddling with audio equipment, you want a professional DJ doing that for you.
Matt is highly organized and makes sure to cover all of the details BEFORE your wedding day so that you can focus on other things (like wrangling your in laws) on the day of your wedding. He showed up on time for the wedding and needed very little instruction to get set up. His equipment was all incredibly high quality which made it possible for all of our guests, including the grandparents, to hear our outdoor ceremony.
Matt also does a great job of working with your other vendors to make sure your officiant, photographer, and everyone else are prepared for what's coming next during the wedding. If your photographer isn't ready for cake cutting, Matt will stall so that a moment isn't missed. He knows his role in a wedding and holds himself to a very high standard.
All in all, if you are on the fence for hiring a Wedding DJ or if you know you want to hire a DJ, but are unsure of who, I would highly recommend Matt. He was truly a delight to work with and looking back, I don't think we could have done it without him. In fact, the only hitch our whole wedding day was that I forgot to get mic'd up before the ceremony because I was drinking Bourbon with my groomsmen and even that wasn't a problem because of the way Matt mic'd our officiant, whose mic picked up everything he said as well as my wife and my vows.
Do yourself a favor and reach out to Matt. I promise you won't be disappointed. -

Matt was the deejay for our 50th anniversary celebration. We could not have the event at our country club because of Covid, but we were able to have a smaller celebration at our home. Matt was so very flexible to our plans for a small backyard ceremony followed by a larger “Dancing in the Street” in front of the house. He arrived early to set up equipment in two locations, welcomed our suggestions for the songs we wanted played, informed our guests of special moments that were happening, entertained requests from our guests and orchestrated the event in such a smooth manner that we had no worries. In addition, Matt brought a 27” monitor so that I could see the friends and relatives that couldn’t attend but were part of a Zoom meeting. He provided microphones so that our Zoom guests were able to be heard as they gave comments or toasts. Matt also recorded these moments and shared them on DropBox so that they can be enjoyed again in the future. I don’t know what more I can say about everything that Matt did to make our unusual 50th anniversary party an amazing success, and I can only imagine how well things would go at a more typical event. I highly recommend Matt for your music needs. -

Matt DJed our entire wedding, including the ceremony, dinner music, and toasts as well as dancing and karaoke. He met with us several times before the wedding to go over our vision for every part of the big day and even helped us to iron out some of the planning and logistical details that we hadn't thought of. He was able to give us options and suggestions as to things he had seen go well or poorly in past weddings but was always 100% respectful of what we wanted. We changed some aspects of our wedding day fairly last minute, and Matt was always incredibly flexible and accommodating. In addition to the usual DJ services (which were excellent--he always played the perfect song to match the energy of the crowd), Matt also helped with logistical details like moving people from place to place, dismissing tables for the buffet, making sure my wife and I got food from the buffet in all the chaos, and he got everyone ready for the sendoff at the end of the night (I'm probably forgetting some other things he helped with); Matt put a lot of effort into making the day go smoothly above and beyond what was required of him. He also provided us with a video recording of our sendoff as well as audio recordings of the ceremony and the toasts which I know we will treasure for years to come. I know Matt was a big part of what made our wedding day go so smoothly and I really cannot recommend him enough. He is phenomenal! -

Matt DiAno is absolutely my favorite vendor that we hired for our wedding. If I could give him a million stars I would! Matt is incredibly organized, punctual, kind, and goes above and beyond.
When we hired Performance Entertainment- we were set up with a wedding planning website that was was amazing for keeping organized. (We could set our timeline, music requests, and songs for all of the special events.) I had several calls with Matt to fine tune everything that we wanted.
The day of our wedding Matt showed up early to set up and coordinate with our officiant and photographer. He even recorded our vows and speeches for us. The icing on the cake was the drone that he surprised us with to record the ceremony and our custom monogram light!
Matt- you are worth your weight in gold! Thank you so much for making our day so amazing ♥️

Went way beyond what he was paid to do.
We where taking pictures outside and he was so sweet and came and brought us water to cool off. Was always so responsive and fast and helpful.

Matt is so good, he helped give us a wedding beyond our hopes and expectations. He did a great job supporting the upfront planning and was very available and helpful with creating a solid timeline for the day. He even created a special “mash-up” of two songs for our first dance at no charge. The day of the wedding he was on top of everything - making sure things went smoothly, communicating with our other vendors, and reading the crowd to know when it was time to shift to the next thing. He played great music, he created a total dance club feel when it was time to get to the dance party portion of the evening, and on top of it all, he’s just a really great guy - easy to work with, friendly, and fun! -

Matt was incredible. Before and during the ceremony, he provided music that went with our vibe. Matt also had microphones for our officiant so that our guests could hear our everything during the ceremony. We've all been to weddings where you can't hear and that's just a bummer. No worries on that front with Matt. As a special touch, he recorded the audio for our entire ceremony and shared it on DropBox a day or two after the wedding. This will be something we cherish for years to come, since we did not hire a videographer.
Matt was also helpful in the planning process when we needed advice or suggestions on songs for certain parts of the ceremony or reception, and he was really flexible - we made day of changes to parts of the timeline with ease. Our guests commented on how fun and energetic he was, but it should be noted that he was not super over the top or game-show-hosty (though if that's what you're into, I'm sure he'd accommodate that too, because he's awesome)! Throughout the entire planning process, he was responsive to texts and emails, which was not the case for all of my vendors. I really appreciated working with Matt and have absolutely zero complaints or reservations about recommending him.
I will add that our reception was a little different than most weddings, as we did a karaoke reception instead of traditional dancing. Matt was able to facilitate an environment that encouraged dancing while people were singing and it was the best of both worlds! I know karaoke isn't for everyone, but if you're at all considering it, know that Matt will make sure that everyone has a great time. Conversely, if you're not looking to do karaoke for your wedding, I know Matt will still offer superior service and really, you can't beat working with someone like him. As hectic as wedding planning can be, Matt makes this part of it seamless and easy. Don't hesitate, just book him! -

Matt was our ceremony and reception DJ last Saturday. From the beginning stages of planning with Matt, he made us feel comfortable. I’m an event planner myself and he helped me think of things that even I didn’t think of. His humor kept us calm even when I was starting to panic about other things. Matt went above and beyond by working out a surprise for us that our officiant planned. We seriously can’t say enough about Matt and you won’t regret having him on your wedding team!! If we have other events that we need a dj for Matt will 100% be our guy!
