Wedding floral design/planning and florists

Candida helped us for about a year with our wedding florals. We were new to the process initially but as timed passed were able to visualize on our day and she delivered. Multiple emails, text, phone calls and in person meetings which resulted in a spectacular ending. The florals were what our guest talked about more than anything. Every detail reflected throughout the wedding venue. Beautiful bouquets and boutonnières. Florals for cake. We can’t forget our beautifully decorated broom. We were able to replant cacti used during ceremony at our home. A visual reminder for years to come. Thank you so much for weaving the bright colors and cacti throughout the ceremony, cocktail, and reception.

She's fabulous!

Candida is sweet, professional and great at what she does. My flowers for my wedding were beautiful! She also set up my ceremony and cocktail hour space and listened to exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend her!

Beautiful Bouquets!

Candida provided the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets for my wedding in July 2019. She was very helpful in offering advice for what types of flowers would withstand the Tucson summer heat during our ceremony and still look gorgeous afterward. Candida gave enough advice to help guide us but also made sure we were basing our choices off of our vision for the wedding flowers. We were so impressed with the labor of love she puts in to each order - from choosing the right type/color of flower, to ordering them in enough time to ensure that she provides the absolute best care of the flowers so that they will bloom on time and perfectly, to delivering them early enough so that they had enough time in the cooler before our ceremony. I highly recommend Candida for wedding floral needs!

Amazing!!!

What a wonderful experience we had working with Candida! From the moment we first met, she really listened to my vision and had great suggestions. She was so easy to get a hold of throughout the entire process and even helped out with last minute things in between! Our wedding venue had an extremely tight time window for decorating, and Candida and her team not only delivered, but delivered beautifully. Our venue was a clean slate and she made it look so beautiful, all while keeping with my theme and my initial vision. I can't say enough good things about her, she went above and beyond for us and her work is amazing!

Candida made our day easy and wonderful! I knew from our first phone call, she was the right decision. She was always advocating for us when dealing with vendors and asked the questions we did not know to ask. Candida helped us make decisions but at the same time always kept us in the driver's seat so it always felt like "our day." There were probably issues on our wedding day but I never knew because she handled each one with grace and efficiency. I've begun recommending Candida to all my friends (even if they aren't engaged). I cannot say enough about Candida!! From the moment we met I knew right away I wanted her to be apart of our Wedding! Her Vibes and energy are the best!! We can recommend Candida without reservation. Being an older couple in our 70’s we may have had a different view of how we wanted things to go at our wedding and Candida just went right along with us without skipping a beat. She was an excellent resource for additional wedding services, handled all dealings with the venue and communicated when needed. She organized the rehearsal, quietly took care of a seating problem and made our day very special. Our flowers and table decor were perfect.

Candida was the best choice I made for my wedding! I'm not even sure where to start... my husband and I received an email just a few months before our wedding that our recommended decorator for our venue was moving on to other things. We talked to our coordinator, who suggested candida. So we contacted her and she immediately made an appointment time available to us since we are from out of town and wouldn't be back for awhile. When we sat down with her, I wasn't even sure what look I was going for with the venue and basically gave her "I like lanterns and candles" to work with. She took off with her creative skills and showed us several different items that could be used as centerpieces, and talked us through other details that we would have never even thought about. Through out the planning process she was so easy to work with and quickly responded to calls and emails. Needless to say our venue, tables, and ceremony turned out ABSOLUTELY beautiful. It was the most perfect look for us, and it was thanks to Candida. I also want to add that on the day of the wedding both my husband and I called on Candida to do random and last minute things for us. She was happy and excited to help out!! We loved working with Candida every step of the way!!

There were beautiful details that she added in to make sure the ceremony and reception were elegant and classy. She ensured all my vendors didn't take extra liberties with anything, she counseled me on things like hair, makeup, and how to make the most of my day. She was tactfully honest about what ideas (that I thought of) would or wouldn't work. The entire 10 months I worked with her, she advocated for me to bring my vision to life. She was more than just my wedding planner, she became my very good friend. She even sewed me back into my wedding dress when it ripped. The day of the wedding, my family and I only had to worry about getting ready and showing up. Candida made sure everyone was where they should be, when they should be. Hiring Perfectly Planned by Candida is the absolute BEST decision I made in planning my wedding, and I would recommend her to anyone, for any event. We love you, Candida!!

It was extremely convenient to order the invitations through our wedding planner. She knew exactly what we needed and our budget. It was much easier and more affordable than ordering them through someone random online. I wouldn't change anything.

I ordered my Invitations & Napkins from Candida. She was so much fun to work with, she has an amazing bubbly personality and offered some really great suggestions in selecting the products that we were looking for. She packaged my orders up so cute and even delivered my napkins to my home. Candida always has a smile on her face and is very knowledgeable about the wedding business. Candida Gutierrez is truly amazing at what she does! From our wedding invitations to the reception, Candida brought my vision to life and gave me the wedding of my dreams. I didn't have an opportunity to see my ceremony or reception space decorated before the ceremony started, and what Candida did was actually more beautiful than I had imagined. She went above and beyond for us to ensure our wedding day went off without a hitch. She handled everything the day of and didn't bother me once about any problems. Living out of state, I could not have planned and pulled this off without her! Her professionalism, experience, and wonderful personality immediately put us at ease, and made the process a wonderful experience. Her attention to detail and knowledge of the wedding industry is unparalleled. Many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and all thanks to Candida!

Can I rate her at 6 stars??!! By FAR the best vendor I hired for my wedding. My venue required my husband and I to bring in literally everything from outside. We ended up with some great vendors and some not so great. Candida, was definitely in the GREAT category! She de-stressed us throughout the entire last month of our planning (and even before her services started). The day of she was dealing with some vendors that I would of probably killed if I had to deal with. Even under her own stress she put on a happy face and didn't let my groom or I in on any discrepancies that may have arose that night... until the next day when I called her to get the gossip, lol. She is so worth it. Such a pleasure to work with. I felt like I had a friend there helping me with my day, not just a planner. Oh, and I LOVE her smiley faces in her texts/emails! Thanks again Candida for all your hard work, I know it wasn't the easiest wedding to deal with, but you made it the best experience it could be for Remy and I!!!

My name is Angelica Sparks and my wedding was on April 20, 2013. My wedding was a success and super fun thanks to the service provided by Perfectly Planned by Candida. Candida was professional from day one and most importantly HELPFUL! She always gave me great advice and gave me ideas on what weddings were like since I had never been to one and never been married in the past. Now that I have been through the planning that my wedding required I realized that weddings can be really stressful but, the unique help that Candida offers can make it all fade away. I remember plenty of times when I would call Candida emotional just thinking of my wedding day and all the things that could happen. By the end of the call everything was back to normality thanks to her. She truly took my stress way! Most importantly my wedding was a reflection of her wonderful work. She took care of every detail including rude photographers and vendors hired by my family. The most surprising part is that these things were occurring on my wedding day but I did not know of them until days after. Making my wedding stress free and a true success! My mother thought I should have a wedding planner to help with the planning and details. I am pretty simple and not very "over the top" with the girlie stuff. Candida was so great at hearing me out and also hearing out my mother with the frilly stuff. Candida made sure that my wedding was the best of both what I wanted and what my mother wanted. I was a little scared with some of the "frills" that my mother wanted, but Candida found a way to make it very low key, but elegant. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner. Her decorations that she included in her package were awesome. I added in some of my taste and combined, it was EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED!! I totally recommend Candida if you are looking for anything but a "cookie cutter" wedding. She's professional, attentive and very caring about anything you feel is important about your wedding. I never thought that I would be the type of girl to cry at her wedding. In fact, I was more worried about world peace than colors for my wedding. I remember the door opening to my dad’s truck and my coordinator gasped saying “ You look so beautiful!” It was then that I understood why girls cry on their wedding day. The truth is I can go on and on with moments that you calmed me or excited me but this would turn in to a novel. In a nutshell, THANK YOU so much for making me feel like it’s ok to be a girly girl. Thank You for not only being my wedding planner but for being my friend throughout this new chapter in my life. Candida was my favorite vendor of all time! As a planner I expected a lot out of her and boy did she deliver and exceed my expectations. She took my vision and made it come to life. She worked with my most difficult vendors some that I just didn't ever want to speak to again. Her slogan is well deserved because she did take all the stress away. I wish I had something else to plan so I could use her again but for now I just recommend the world to use her.

We met with a few planners before Candida, but within minutes of talking with her we knew she was the one! She instantly made us feel very comfortable with her, and quickly developed the level of trust needed on such a big day for us. Candida was quick to respond to all questions we had, and even met up with us on weekends to accommodate our commute since we lived out of town. She made our day perfect from beginning to end, and we highly recommend Perfectly Planned by Candida for any event you may have! I’ll never forget one of the last things she said to us, “I’m not done until you’re done.” – her dedication is by far commendable! I got married on August 18th and wanted to let other brides know what a wonderful job Candida did for me and my now husband. I hired Candida to help me get organized and find a good group of vendors to hire so I would not have to worry about any of the details on my wedding day. She introduced me to amazing DJ's, caterers, florists, and beautiful/unique venues to choose from and always made time to attend the appointments with me. My theme was Shooting Stars and I was worried about it looking cheap but when I explained to Candida some of the ideas that I had she was really able to make my vision even more beautiful than I could have imagined. She made me feel comfortable bouncing ideas around and she was able to come up with such a cool and unique concept. Candida and her team exceeded my expectations and I feel like I couldn’t have made a better choice and would recommend Candida and her team to any bride!

Candida was such a pleasure to work with. She made our day go so smoothly. I didn't have to worry about a single thing. Candida is always detailed, professional, punctual, personable, and just a wonderful person to work with. She is a wedding fairy god-mother for brides like me who have a vision in our heads, but don't know how to verbalize it. I had a difficult time commiting to my decisions and she was never short with me, but she was pacient and helped me bring my dreams to life even with a modest budget. She loves what she does and it shows. Our family from out of town loved everything and we loved how she made it an amazing family affair that included having our children in the ceremony. Candida was the best thing we ever did! She was EXTREMLY helpful and really took the stress out of planning. Before Candida, we ran into some MAJOR problems with our venue and people we were working with. Once we decided to hire her, Candida took charge and handled all the madness that was on our plate. She was sincere with us and sympathized with what we were going through. This really meant a lot to me and my husband. Not only was she kind and sincere but she was confident and professional when working on our behalf. We feel she went above and beyond working for us. As a result, she was able to address and fix the problems of our wedding!

If it wasn't for Candida, I'm convinced we would not have had our dream wedding. She really was amazing and allowed us to enjoy the process of planning.

Candida is wonderful to work with! Hiring Candida gave us the opportunity to have fun at our wedding since we didn't have to worry about any details that day. We left all the details to Candida and we are so grateful we were able to hire her. Candida did a fabulous job handling the 550 guests who attended our wedding ceremony and reception. My husband and I were able to enjoy our day because all the details were in Candida's hands. Everyone who attended the wedding tells us about the wonderful experience they had at our wedding. Perfectly Planned by Candida was the best service I invested in for my wedding. Candida and her staff worked so hard with me to make my wedding the most Beautiful Wedding on a Budget. My mom found Candida at a bridal fair when I was out of town. She called me and said "You have to have her!" So we did! She was awesome! Our wedding was so much fun and mostly because we didn't have to do any of the planning. My mom was also my maid of honor and I didn't want her to be worrying about anything so it worked out great! The greatest thing about Candida was that she was able to answer any question we had. We knew nothing about planning our wedding and I know we would've forgotton something. But as it turned out by working with Perfectly Planned absolutely nothing fell through the cracks.

Also, awsome job decorating. Everyone had a great time and it was a success.

Candida and her staff are extremely friendly, approachable and professional. I could always get in touch with Candida via her cell phone and/or email whenever I had a question for her. Candida had many vendors that she has worked with and highly recommended them which made it easier for me to coordinate my wedding plans. It was a pleasure doing business with Perfectly Planned by Candida as my wedding planner. My daughter and her husband were overall very pleased with their wedding.

I don't know where to begin! Candida help me with the entire wedding process. She started with helping us find a vendor and went on from there. She met, emailed, and texted with me countless times! Not only did she help alleviate stress with the planning, she saved us money. We tried getting venues before we hired her and they wanted to charge us almost double. Going through her alone gave us plenty of deals. And the vendors she recommends were amazing. I was truly happy with each one. She always had a smile on her face and did everything she could to make my husband and I happy. She got my whole wedding party in order for the rehearsal and wedding day (which was no easy task). Candida was just amazing. I couldn't have asked for more! :)

We hired Candida for our day-of coordinator, and she was great. She's very high-energy, has lots of great ideas to stretch your decorating budget, and will make sure that you are stress-free on your day. If there were any problems with our venue or our vendors, I certainly never knew about it. She's a real pro!

Candida was so nice to work with. She met me twice once for my linens, and once for my invitations. Both times we met at a public place and she brought her adorable son. She took time to talk about all the options and really listened to what I wanted. With the invitations she worked so hard to make sure everything was perfect, and in the end everything was SOOOO perfect! My site coordinator was not happy at the timing for the linens. The linens were delivered early in the morning, but they did not come to put the linens on until an hour before the wedding ceremony start time. By that time the staff at the restaurant had place all the linens on themselves including the bows that have to be tied just right.

During the wedding planning Candida was very attentive & nice. In the last month of services however, I was told vendors would receive everything & when the day of came around some of the vendors didn't have the updated information as they were told, such as the updated list of parents and bridal party reception introduction. We were promised vases for our bouquets so they would not wilt that we did NOT receive. At the wedding, were told she was looking into getting vases from the resort & if she was unable to find them she would let me know so that I could have someone from my family go back to get the ones from the room but never got word they couldn't get them. We were supposed to have her/assistant waiting for us after the ceremony ended to tuck us away for pictures and NO one was there, we had to improvise & were not informed of any changes. I originally did NOT want a runner because we were on grass & I was afraid it would be to difficult to walk because it would bunch up & she insisted she would make it perfect, nice & snug but when I got to the aisle the runner was being held down with rocks & was all bunched up,I felt like I had to march down the aisle to be sure that I wouldn't fall. When she was needed for items, family said she was no where to be found. The toast didn't come out when it was supposed to have according to the timeline. The guest book table at cocktail hour was missing and gifts were just stacked on top of a bar with the guest book hidden so many guests did not sign the book. The card box was supposed to have been watched at all times however, a family member watched the box for a length of time after cocktail hour & no one was watching it (In the hall away from the party). The things I was happy with was that my decorations overall were exactly what I wanted and looked amazing & the wedding did start right on time as it was supposed to and most of the timeline was followed as originally planned & she is a very sweet person to work with.

We got the full coordination package from Candida which included finding a quality venue, quality vendors, follow up with all our vendors to make sure they delivered the services promised, decorate and provide us with/and keep us to a schedule of events for the day of. First of all we never felt like Candida supported our choice of venue, it always felt like she didn't like it. And out of all the vendors she recommended there is only 1 that I am completely satisfied with, which was the caterer. The main reason we hired her was so that we could be sure we were hiring quality companies. But I felt like most of the vendors she recommended were amateurish and let us down on our big day. She did an excellent job following up with vendors and handling the problems that arose. And she also did an amazing job decorating, it truly was a beautiful job that she did with the decorating. But she didn't efficiently handle the schedule, she miscued the groom's and mine entrance so badly that I walked down the aisle with no music. She didn't make sure that the key people were ready for different reception events too which was frustrating and embarrassing when everyone is looking at you expecting something to happen. One of our biggest issues was communication regarding which services were included in her fee and which were not. She represented her fee as including white linens but we were disappointed to find out she only meant she would set up the linens and the actual rental of them had to be paid separately under another fee through her. Additionally, our understanding was that we could make up her fees through the discounts we would receive by using her preferred vendors and it was simply not the case. If you are interested in her for a traditional wedding at her venues, using her vendors and her services, by all means book her, she is great with what she is comfortable with. But if you want an unfamiliar setting or a nontraditional wedding, I wouldn't advise hiring her.

I would never recommend this company to anyone Candida is not a professional business person. I found a invitation I loved and she tried talking me out of it which I soon learned it was one of the less expensive invitations (I was still spending over $300 for 75 invitations). I ended up paying for the invitations in full and every piece of paper work I signed said the invitations could take 2-3 weeks to get to you. Which was perfect timing for me. I called her almost to the 3 week mark and she said they had shipped and would get back to me with a tracking number and never did a week later she changed her story and said 3 weeks working days but they had shipped and not to worry. I reached the 3week working day mark and still no invitations! We demanded a refund if I did not have them by a certain date since she had breeched the contract. I finally got them almost 6 weeks later and after being rush delivered
