Where do I begin? Jim was so beyond incredible to work with. From our very first zoom call with him we knew he was the perfect fit for us. He was so helpful and informative throughout the whole process and made the ceremony the least stressful part of our planning. He sent us emails with information regarding where we could get our marriage license, a descriptive list of different types of wedding ceremonies we could have, as well as questionnaires for us to fill out which could help him know us better as a couple. He even setup a few more zoom calls through the time building up to the big day to just simple check in and make sure we're on the right track! Come the day of and Jim was so professional and helpful. He checked in on both me and my husband countless times before the ceremony to alleviate our stress and make sure we knew what we were doing as well as checking in with my bridal party to make sure they knew what they were doing. He even went as far as checking in with my other vendors to make sure everything was going as it should be which was just incredible to me. During the actual ceremony, Jim said everything perfectly and the ceremony went even better than we could've imagined. I even had so many of my guests come up to us after asking us who our officiant was thinking he was one of our friends or family members because he knew us so well. We are so happy with Jim as our officiant and can promise that you will be too! -

Jim made our ceremony unforgettable
Jim from Perfect Union Officiants was absolutely incredible as our wedding officiant on 10/12/25. We first reached out to him in April, and from that moment on he was attentive, organized, and so thoughtful. He checked in regularly and held Zoom calls to learn about us, our relationship, and how our love story began. He truly wanted every detail to be perfect so he could share our story beautifully with our guests.
On the day of the wedding, Jim made a point to introduce himself to our vendors and wedding party so everything felt seamless and comfortable. It was almost like we had known him for years! Our ceremony couldn’t have been more perfect. He kept us calm when nerves were high and delivered everything with warmth, clarity, and genuine care.
We would recommend Jim to absolutely anyone. Thank you for marrying us Jim! our day wouldn’t have been the same without you! 💕 -

Wedding Officiant
Jim was the most perfect officiant for us. He listened to our wished and executed. We were told all night by our guests how special our ceremony was, and how individualized. We met, virtually, prior to the wedding and was able to make our ceremony exactly what we had envisioned. Jim was thorough, but not too long. His words were all so meaningful and he truly surpassed our expectations. Thank you, Jim! -

Jim is an absolute delight and made our wedding so personable. He sent us both a list of questions well in advance of our wedding so he could write a personalised speech leading up to our vows, it was so beautiful I shed a tear! We live in England and flew to Long Island for the wedding and he was really easy to deal with overseas, always got back to my emails straight away. He made us feel so at ease and talked us through everything! We were really nervous about saying our vows but it was so easy with Jim as he breaks everything down really easy for you and it all flowed really well! The ceremony was the absolute favourite part of our day thanks to Jim. If you’re looking for a personal touch on your wedding day I would definitely go with him you will not regret it! Thanks again Jim for everything ❤️ -

My wedding last Sunday was about as perfect of a day my wife and I could ever ask for and it all started with the amazing Officiant Mr. James Hill. He was incredible, funny, and he conveyed the love that we have for each other to perfection. Leading up to the wedding my wife & I's schedule was very complicated and he was always good in getting in contact with us via Zoom, email. It was so easy to work with him, I'm probably gonna be contacting him when we want to renew our vows. We cant thank you enough Jim!!! -

The BEST officiant!
Jim was the perfect person for our special day! He was kind, organized, prepared, polished, creative, and funny. A great speaker, he made people laugh and cry in the best ways possible. Our 20th anniversary vowel renewal was perfect and he helped make that happen. I can’t recommend him enough! -

I appreciate how responsive Jim was. I didn’t have to wait hours for a response. Which is something I found with other vendors. I appreciate how much information he gave us and what we would need to do and not to do. I definitely love the fact that he recommended a photographer to us that was Such a wonderful wonderful person to work with. I love the fact that Jim confirmed with me the day before. Which I appreciate because I have 50 million other things I was doing. And I definitely appreciate it once he got there he was to help me figure out what would work best for the ceremony. Even stepping in and speaking to the event planner. I highly recommend him. -

My partner and I recently returned from living overseas for several years. We needed to hastily get married upon our return. We were at a total loss as to how to organize an appropiate ceremony. Jim and his colleague Amanda were of immense help in eliciting from my wife and I what we were looking for in our wedding ceremony.
Amanda Ruiz was the officiant at our wedding. She had researched many ideas and was sensitive to cultural differences and helped us celebrate a wonderful event. I believe anyone looking for an officant would do well to reach out to the Perfect Union Officiants. You will not be disappointed.

The perfect fit!
Jim was AMAZING! He was so helpful and easy to work with, but most importantly he did a phenomenal job. Jim has that friendly and warm presence that makes you feel welcome and comfortable, and a smooth clear speaking voice. We connected from the very first meeting. He listened to our concerns and took our suggestions for what we wanted to include and exclude in the ceremony. We were making changes right up to the last minute, but Jim took it all in stride and was happy to craft a service that really reflected who we are. He took our responses to his questionnaire about what we loved about each other and created a moving ceremony that was perfect for us. So many of our guests expressed how they loved our ceremony and how they even teared up. Jim was also super professional and didn't let things like a crying baby and me forgetting my vows derail the ceremony. He was well prepared with an extra copy. I have nothing but great things to say about Jim and I would highly recommend having him be a part of one of the happiest memories of your life. -

Jim was the only officiant we met with and we didn't need to look further because we instantly had a great feeling about him. Throughout the process, it worked out so well for us because we met over Zoom and the meetings were short and sweet. We had no idea what we were doing so he provided a template for us to follow. On the day of, he was a calming force in a whirl of chaos, which is exactly what I (the bride) needed. Thank you, Jim! Working with you has been incredible! -

Jim Hill at Perfect Union Officiants was excellent to work with! He is professional, friendly, easy-going and so well spoken. He took the time to get to know us and turned our conversations and the information we gave him into the most special ceremony we could have ever imagined. So many of our guests complimented us on how beautiful the ceremony was. In fact, many of our guests even asked us how long we have known Jim for, as his words about us both as individuals and as a couple were so spot on. It truly felt like Jim had known us forever. Prior to the ceremony, he took the time to review everything one last time with us and answer any last minute questions. He was flexible when we needed to switch around our meetings due to busy schedules and he was always quick to respond whenever we reached out. We had our wedding at a vineyard on Long Island. We needed an officiant to do the ceremony and upon our searches one gentlemen stood out to us, James Hill. We had a zoom meeting with him and we were extremely impressed with his professionalism and how well spoken he was. Jim was absolutely amazing performing our ceremony. He was there early, he was clean cut, and in his Sundays best. You can tell Jim was no stranger to conducting a wedding ceremony. Jim did a beautiful job and we are so glad we found him! Jim was able to accommodate my last minute microwedding with less than 7 days notice. His price was reasonable and he takes the time to speak to you prior to the ceremony so that he can give you exactly what you want. Most importantly, Jim is committed; He was involved in a car accident on the way to my ceremony and still made it early to make sure that we were able to have our wedding on time (even though I was 45 mins late). Jim is absolutely amazing and you won’t be disappointed! -
