  Perfect Promises is the way to go!

  Pat was an amazing officiant. She worked closely with us to write a personal ceremony that incorporated so many personal details and was exactly the tone that we wanted. I knew it was going to be amazing when I read it the first time and started crying with joy. She was wonderful to work with and her warm, professional style made the wedding perfect. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

  A Wonderful Ceremony

  Pat is one of the kindest and sweetest people we have ever met. She was extremely organized and easy to communicate with.. She really took the time to get to know us - we filled out a very detailed relationship questionnaire which helped her build a beautiful ceremony for us. We also felt that the all of the thoughtful questions brought us even closer together. She also has experience with many of the Pittsburgh venues which was important to us, since we were at Heinz Chapel and knew we were going to be time boxed. The ceremony was incredible - it was so personal and emotional. She wrote a lovely tribute to our parents & grandparents, and she even included some Pittsburgh sports references for us! Our families are still talking about how amazing it was. Thank you to Pat for making our day so special and memorable.

  Pat officiated our November 2021 wedding and we cannot say enough about how wonderful she was! She created a personalized, non-religious ceremony that completely blew us away, and we really enjoyed the process of both conversing with Pat and filling out a questionnaire about our relationship to provide her with beautiful content for the ceremony. My husband and I truly believe that Pat brought us even closer together. We are so grateful for the enormous contribution Pat made to our special day. HIGHLY recommend!!!

  Wonderful!!

  Pat was a dream to work with. She was there for us through covid. And at the wedding she greeted us as if we were old friends!! She was nice!! Everyone loved her!!

  We worked with Pat Carver at Perfect Promises for our wedding in March 2021 (originally March 2020). Pat supported us throughout the various planning and replanning. Pat provided a draft of the ceremony for our original wedding and made adjustments for our March 2021 wedding celebration. Pat was professional and overall delivered a wonderful ceremony! We went with a more relaxed, non-traditional ceremony that included an Irish hand tying and Pat met our various requests. Our guests all said that they enjoyed listening to Pat tell our story and the overall light hearted feel of the ceremony. We would recommend Pat to anyone looking for an officiant for their wedding.

  Beautiful words

  Pat was amazing when writing our ceremony. She had us fill out a questionnaire so that it was brilliantly personal. She walked through every single step of the ceremony with us during the rehearsal so that we would never be left wondering what we supposed to do.

  Personal, Unique Wedding Ceremony

  I was the wedding coordinator for my bride and groom at Hartwood Acres in Pittsburgh, PA, and was so happy to work with Pat for their ceremony! Pat attended the rehearsal the day before, and made the bride, groom and their families feel very comfortable and confident. Pat helped cue everyone, and made sure they all knew their roles. Day of, her ceremony was the perfect balance of heartfelt, funny and personal. She spoke clearly, from the heart, and the pacing was perfect. My couple was so happy, and included unique elements (a handfasting!) with traditional wedding ceremony details. I would highly recommend Pat to any couples looking for a fun and personal ceremony experience. She was warm, kind, and professional. I loved working with her! Cheers!

We had so many guests come up to us and express how special and beautiful the ceremony was, and that it allowed them to get a picture of our intimate relationship and see how deep our love is. I suggest to all future Mr and Mrs to fill out the questionnaire because it helps Pat make everything so personal and focuses on the couple.   When people reminisce about a wedding, there are several things that may come to mind. A funny incident from the reception or how good the food was.
  
  The thing that I remember most was the ceremony. Each and every second of it was special, and a large part of that was because of Pat. She created a custom, personalized ceremony that really spoke to the people that my husband and I are - the things that we value and cherish most were highlighted brightly.
  You would have thought that Pat knew the two of us our entire lives by the way she spoke to our relationship and the people we are.
  
  Many of our wedding guests have commented to my husband and I that our ceremony was the most wonderful, most heart felt ceremony they have ever been a part of. We cannot thank Pat enough for that.
  
  She is a key component to a remarkable wedding.

  Pat is absolutely wonderful! I would not hesitate to hire her again. She always responds to her emails, and she was extremely accommodating. In addition, Pat is extremely kind-hearted, and she made our ceremony very sentimental. It meant a lot to us that the ceremony was so meaningful.
