⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Best DJ We Could Have Ever Asked For!

We don't even know where to start! From the very beginning, Ryan made the entire process so easy and enjoyable. He took the time to really get to know us, our music taste, and the kind of atmosphere we wanted for our wedding — and absolutely brought it to life.

Day of Ryan was so much more than a DJ, acting as an impromptu day of coordinator he offered suggestions and the experience to make our day effortless. while running the mic he made sure everything stayed on schedule, and offered suggestions when things ran longer than expected; all while offering at every opportunity to help out with anything we needed.

Every moment was perfect — from the ceremony music that had everyone tearing up, to the smooth transitions during dinner, and then the dance floor that stayed packed all night long. Ryan read the crowd like a pro, mixing our favorite songs with just the right energy to keep every guest — young and old — on their feet.

We had so many people come up to us throughout the night and afterward saying, “That was the best wedding DJ we’ve ever seen!” And we couldn’t agree more.

Thank you, Ryan, for going above and beyond to make our day so special. Your professionalism, positivity, and passion for what you do truly shine through. You didn’t just play music — You made creating the moments and the memories the focus and that's something we will cherish always.

Highly recommend Ryan & Perfect Memory

Ryan was the best! I interviewed several DJ’s and chose Ryan because he was all over the logistics - down to how speakers should be positioned so that everyone can hear best during the ceremony.

I joked that he was my spirit animal as I was also super specific on things like what music I wanted played the 30 min leading into the ceremony, the time mark I wanted our entrance song to start at, and the overall timeline for the day - Ryan was super flexible, accommodating, and nailed all of it! And had an awesome dance party at the end.

The best part about Ryan is how much he cares - he genuinely wants you to have the best day ever. And we did! I highly recommend Ryan.

Goes above and beyond!

We absolutely LOVED working with Ryan!! Working with him was such a breeze and so much fun. He was super understanding and accommodating when we had to change our wedding date due to COVID. He was very communicative, super easy to get ahold of with questions and has a huge database of recommendations for songs which was extremely helpful. He has you fill out planning sheets and acts almost like a day-of-coordinator on top of being an awesome DJ! The songs he played were PERFECT both at the ceremony and during the reception. Our reception was SO MUCH FUN and we received countless comments about what a fun wedding it was and how good the music was! Can't thank Ryan enough for all of his help coordinating the timeline, responding so quickly to my million questions and for making our day FUN! Hire him! You won't regret it.

Absolutely perfect!

Perfect Memory Events is absolutely amazing and so fantastically easy to deal with, it made our whole event so much easier to plan. Unforeseen events had us looking for a DJ with just two months left before the wedding, but even with such sort notice Ryan did incredibly! As soon as I got on the phone with Ryan, I knew I had called the right person. He was so professional and organized you could tell he was truly dedicated to making sure our event went off without a hitch and that everyone was happy and entertained. He responded quickly and efficiently to every email, question, and concern we had, and helped us organize so many things for the big event.

Now the biggest compliment we could ever give Ryan doesn't even come from us, but from the guests at our reception. Almost all of our guests came up to us after the reception gushing about how amazing Ryan was and how he kept the dance floor ABSOLUTELY PACKED for the reception. Multiple people told us it was the "most fun wedding they have ever been to."

Music is the thing that brought myself and my spouse together, so we were extremely nervous about picking a DJ. But Ryan listened to every request we had and played everything we wanted to hear (and didn't play the things we asked not to hear). We couldn't be happier with Ryan and the wonderful night he provided for us and our guests! THANK YOU!

Ryan is amazing

Ryan is one of the very best things to happen to our wedding! His many stellar reviews are what led us to meet with him, he was the only DJ we met with and we knew right away we did not need to look any further. Throughout the process Ryan was just amazing. He met with us multiple times, had so many amazing ideas and suggestions and was just so positive and encouraging through all the stress of wedding planning. On the day of our wedding he arrived early and had everything set up and ready to go. He played all our requested songs and we got several compliments on the music. He kept everything moving and was so on top of everything the whole time. We just can’t recommend Ryan highly enough, he was truly a joy to work with and we will absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ. You can tell how much he loves what he does, and how much he truly wants your wedding to be the best it can be.

Absolutely hire Ryan!

Ryan loves his job and his company and it's completely reflected in his energy and work! He found a unique and beautiful rendition of a song for the bride's processional and it had everyone in goosebumps and tears. It was stunning. Throughout the night he kept the special moments "moving" and played the best music. We even had to extend the party! Being in the industry as a wedding coordinator, I would love to work with Ryan again and I'd highly recommend him to any couple.

So glad we booked with Ryan!

Ryan and Perfect Memory Events is amazing to work with! I spoke with him at a critical time in our wedding planning when we were considering scrapping all of our plans and running away to Vegas! Ryan said so many helpful and reassuring things, and really made my husband and I feel like our wedding could come together just how we dreamed. More than a wedding DJ he was like a day of coordinator! He made sure everything was perfect for us and built such a special evening. I recommend him so very highly!

Awesome DJ full of positive energy who goes above and beyond

Our favorite thing about working with Ryan was that he was SO enthusiastic and encouraging, no matter what the situation or how stressed we were feeling. We each had a ~1 hour "interview" with him when deciding whether to hire, during which he gave detailed thoughts and suggestions about the structure of our event/reception; he even drew up a schedule right afterwards and sent along with lots of helpful documents and photos. We had at least 2 or 3 phone meetings with him before the wedding to hash everything out, and he provided a lot of helpful advice about how to make the event "flow." Even when we wanted to do a few things differently than he recommended (including having a receiving line), he was super positive and helped us make it work out. On the day-of, he really served as sort of a coordinator + DJ, running around making sure people were ready to make their toasts, the cake stuff was ready for the cake-cutting, etc. so the whole event went smoothly. Finally, he accommodated several special requests, including a full separate outdoor PA setup for the ceremony (in addition to the indoor setup for the reception), an extra speaker indoors to accommodate the shape/acoustics of the room (his suggestion based on experience), and arriving several hours early to allow some special surprise performances. Value was excellent as well, considering all the services provided. Ryan was a consummate professional and an absolute pleasure to work with.

The perfect party to cap a prefect day!

The name absolutely delivers. Ryan was awesome to work with from day one. He was fully invested in making sure our wedding was nothing but perfect. We were slightly overwhelmed by the music possibilities and the different tastes of our guests. Alex and Ryan put together an incredible arrangement of music that made everyone dance from the first song to the last. We even were told we got the season award for the party who danced the longest! We couldn’t have been happier!

Ryan was awesome to work with. He was so attentive to details and helped out with things that were way beyond his duties as DJ. After our first phone call and meeting, he sent us a timeline proposal of the day. He even went so far as to look up what time sunset was on our wedding day and built in some time for us to take photos because he knew that they would look great. My fiancee (now wife) was having a hard time finding a make-up artist and Ryan went out of his way to help her find some options. He could have easily just said "here's a couple names of people", but he went on to a chat board and asked about availability! That's the kind of thing you can expect when you use Perfect Memory. Ryan worked so well with our other vendors and made the day go seamlessly. And his DJ skills are even better! He had our dance floor rocking for over 3 hours! All of our guests raved about the music! He also was so attentive to my bride and I. He made sure we had drinks for the toast, let us know when our dinner had been served, and really took time to make sure we had a great day! I would highly recommend Perfect Memory for any event!

We loved loved loved having Ryan as our DJ for our wedding day. Where to begin! From our first phone call (about a year out), we knew that Ryan was committed to making our wedding day perfect. He was so enthusiastic and prepared to answer any and all questions we had regarding special requests, etc. He even recommended a few fun lawn games (including links!) since he knew we were having an outdoor wedding and thought they would add some extra excitement to the night. He also sent us a detailed timeline right after our first conversation, which was very thoughtful since we hadn't even made our own timeline at that point and ended up sticking to it almost exactly! Ryan sent us a planning sheet which was very helpful for organizing all of our special dance songs, and when asked if he could accommodate some of our specific versions of our song choices he was more than happy to. The day of our wedding, Ryan arrived several hours before the ceremony to make sure he was set up in both locations (dance floor and inside our reception area). He had all equipment necessary to help the ceremony and reception run smoothly. Before the ceremony, Ryan took the time to come up to our bridal party suites (on site) and made sure to let us know everything was set up and asked if we had any last minute questions. He made sure we felt comfortable and confident with the process and pumped us up before we headed down the aisle. Ryan consistently checked in with us to make sure the timing for everything was exactly what we wanted. He happily took requests during the dancing portion of the reception. We loved all the music Ryan played before the ceremony, and during our reception. We felt like he knew exactly what went with the overall vibe of the wedding. We honestly would recommend Ryan to anyone and everyone. He made our wedding day such a great experience and his passion and enthusiasm for ensuring everyone was having a great time is truly everything we could have hoped for in a vendor!

So, these folks weren't free for my wedding date! Sad!
However, to make up for the bad news, the owner was incredibly helpful by volunteering to send me people he would recommend, as well as a list of things to watch out for in a good or bad DJ. I think it's incredible that this person had no monetary gain from this and yet still offered his time to help a bride out. High quality, high integrity people.

Looking to throw a fun wedding with a lot of dancing? Ryan is your guy! We knew we made the right decision from the very first call as we went over our timeline, taste in music, and what we were looking for in the wedding. Ryan was not just a DJ, he was an MC and really helped bring the day together. He helped us build a timeline and made sure to guide the night appropriately. He was great during the ceremony and cocktail hour but things went to another level during the reception. We had an early wedding (4pm) so the reception started around 530. Once the dancing started around 7 it didn't stop until they had to close the venue! He did a great job of mixing in new songs and classic hits and most of all he kept the entire party engaged the whole night.

If you are looking for someone with great energy and passion for what they do, Ryan is your guy. We couldn't be happier with our decision to pick Perfect Memory Events!

Ryan was an incredible DJ for us! He sincerely loves his job and it showed from our very first meeting. He even helped us plan our wedding day timeline. We had no idea where to begin so we were incredibly grateful that he provided this for us. He sends you a planning worksheet for all the possible moments you may want a special song. It also asks which events you are including in your day (bouquet toss, etc). He made our event flawless and kept the dance floor full with music tailored to our personality, the guests, and the excitement. He is also very affordable and offers great options. We highly recommend Ryan and Perfect Memory Events!

Ryan was PHENOMENAL!!!!!!!! After having one conversation with Ryan over the phone I immediately knew he was the perfect fit for our wedding. From driving two hours to location, coordinating with my events specialist and family before hand, playing custom music based on my taste AND keeping everyone on schedule during the reception- to say the least..he really went above and beyond! Start to finish I couldn't have been more impressed with his services the entire way through! To anyone considering Perfect Memory Events, do yourself a favor and please do! Ryan LOVES weddings! His enthusiasm and energy and vision was incredibly helpful to me as someone who was quickly becoming jaded with the whole planning process - his excitement kept me excited. He helped me make the perfect timeline, kept us right on track, and even did some custom song arrangements for us - his work was incredible! He has a LOT of energy, A LOT, but he is a DJ - remember that and don't be overwhelmed - he's totally got this!

I can't say enough good things about Ryan at Perfect Memory Events! He was AMAZING! There are so many choices of Dj's in the portland area and some just differ very little in price so its hard to pick...but as soon as I got to talking with Ryan I knew he was the one! He got me pumped up just talking with him...and isn't that what you want from a DJ? Someone who can make everyone at your wedding super excited and pumped!
Another big fear of mine was making sure everyone could hear speeches/vows. How annoying is it when you go to a wedding and you can't hear what they are saying or you hear the crackles of a speaker.? Everything was flawless with Ryan and his set up!
Ryan was able to customize our music to everything we wanted and made our wedding unique and personal to us! Not only that he had great advice because I knew nothing about all the details that go into picking out wedding music!
He also acts as MC and made our night go by seamlessly, organized and on time.
Best DJ around, I want to have another party just so I can work with Ryan again!

Ryan is...AWESOME! He gets you so pumped for your big day, and he's completely genuine too. This guy loves weddings and loves to put a smile on your face. My husband had a pretty strange request - to sing me down the aisle! Ryan was so stoked for this and pulled out all the stops to make it happen, from working behind the scenes with our videographer to ensure the sound quality was great for recording, arriving early to test the equipment and work with Andrew during a practice run and bringing extra equipment to make sure everything went off without a hitch - and it did. He's also amazingly talented at reading a crowd. He just KNOWS the type of music you want to be dancing to without requests (and he does take those too if you really need them). I've already recommended him to several friends getting married in the Portland area. Everyone deserves a Ryan for their wedding day!

Ryan is amazing and has great energy! He listened to everything we were hoping for for our music during the ceremony and reception and offered super helpful suggestions. Ryan obviously has a lot of experience with wedding timelines and making sure everything runs smoothly and we were so thankful for that! He kept us on track the whole day and was all in all totally awesome. Several people at our wedding said that they thought Ryan was one of the best DJs they had seen at a wedding and we agree. Ryan goes above and beyond for his clients and we would highly recommend him.

Ryan from Perfect Memory Events was the DJ at our recent wedding, and he was THE BEST! During the planning stages he was such a joy to talk to and work with, with his upbeat attitude and enthusiasm. He answered all of my many questions, and made me feel completely at ease and confident that he had all our wedding plans under control. On the day of the wedding we requested a last-minute adjustment to our processional song to stretch it out longer that he executed perfectly. He did a smooth job making announcements and getting people where they needed to be with subtle guidance. We’d provided him with a playlist of songs (as well as a NOT-to-playlist), and he stuck to our lists while also adding in songs that complemented the feel of the reception. The sound system setups for the ceremony & reception were perfect, and there was never a need for adjustments to microphones for the ceremony or toasts. Everything was flawless. All of our guests had a blast at our wedding, and it’s due in no small part to Ryan! We cannot recommend him highly enough!

Ryan was WONDERFUL. He is so full of joy, so professional, and his music was SPOT ON the entire evening. He needed little direction, which was PERFECT for us, because we are NOT huge music buffs. We had no idea where to direct him or what songs would be crowd pleasers, but throughout the reception we received NUMEROUS compliments on the music! He did phenomenal. He didn't spend the entire evening in his booth either. He was helping get things ready for the cake cutting, he did great with the transitions and helping people figure out what was happening when, and was really courteous as his time for the event came to a close. He offered to stay longer if we wanted, was mingling with guests, and was SO SO SO entertaining!! He didn't steal the show, he didn't make it about him, and he was so FULL of gratitude to be a part of our day. From our first meeting with him, we knew we could trust the ENTIRE evening to him. He was communicative through the process, and made us feel at ease with the schedule. I have NO idea how people play music from an iPod and just let it go. He was mixing up songs and themes and people wouldn't get off the dance floor! It was a HUGE hit!! We would recommend him to ANYONE!! He even sent a thank you note with some heartfelt thoughts about the wedding. BEST DJ EVER.

We recently had Ryan Hein from Perfect Memory Events DJ our wedding and he was fantastic! We were so impressed with his professionalism and personalization for our ceremony and reception. Ryan truly went above and beyond what was expected, he helped me create a timeline for my wedding, he accommodated our family for some special requests that they had, and even stayed later than I had originally asked to give us a fantastic reception. Ryan went out of his way to get to know the people involved in our wedding and we have received so many compliments on his services. Ryan Hein with Perfect Memory Events was a joy to work with! After reading horror stories online, I had a serious fear of choosing a DJ that would end up ruining our wedding. We interviewed several DJs to try to find the perfect one and we did! Ryan was very responsive and professional during the planning process and even called us the week of the wedding to confirm name pronunciations. He did an amazing job, never missed a cue, was extremely friendly and approachable, and even a month later our wedding party hasn't stopped talking about the amazing DJ!

Adam was more than I could have asked for in a DJ/Emcee! He provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding! Adam and Ryan (the owner) took time to meet with me, suggest music selections, and were always extremely enthusiastic about our event. Adam did a great job providing ceremony music, announcing events at our reception (like toasts, cutting the cake, first dances…) and also kept the dance party going until the very last minute. Ryan from Perfect Memory Events is the best vendor I have ever worked with! He did an amazing job!
We needed someone to help emcee our event and keep us on schedule as well as DJ. I gave him our planned schedule and he worked with the photographer and wedding party to make sure everything went according to plan.
He worked with me ahead of time to help pick songs and had some really great suggestions that went with our theme.
Having him there made things unbelievably easy on me, my groom, and my family. Several of our guests have also specifically mentioned how much they enjoyed his work, how capable he was, and how much more fun he made the event.
I cannot suggest Ryan enough!

HIRE THEM! I looked into a lot of DJs for my wedding and after speaking with a few over email it became apparent that if I didn't hire Ryan, I would be an idiot. He was responsive, friendly, timely, helpful, and awesome to work with. Before I hired him, he sent me contact information from two couples he'd recently worked with at my same venue. I was able to get in touch with both of them who assured me that he was great to work with. He has a ton of energy (which is essential for a DJ). He was able to create a special edit for my aisle song, helped organize the dances, and was always a step ahead of whatever I needed. He got the party started right after dinner and kept everyone dancing for hours. I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Truly, hire him. You won't be disappointed.

I'mma be honest. These guys should charge more.

I had the most amazing service from Ryan and Adam. Ryan is the owner and main DJ for the company, but he was already booked for our date so we had his partner Adam. It was a perfect fit. Ryan did all the organization, Adam kept our dance floor crowded, our event going, and managed anything we asked him to.

Hiring these two was like hiring a day of coordinator, a DJ, an Emcee, and a best friend all at once. At one point Adam even did our photographer a favor and held branches out of the way. Ryan remixed our parent dance songs to make them a bit shorter (as requested.) When my husband offered Adam a tip and payment for an extra half hour of time he said something like, "Oh no, I'm having such a great time with you guys, you don't have to do that!" (We did of course!) I feel like what all of this represents is their true joy in doing this job for wedding couples.

Every other DJ I met seemed like either a guy that loved a mic and wanted to talk to the whole night or like a guy who loved music and wanted an excuse to play it. Ryan and Adam stood out above the crowd. They struck exactly the right chord, they cared about us as a couple, they care about doing a great job, and they are GOOD at their jobs.

Adam and Ryan are one of four vendors I would use again and again, I have no complaints. Honestly, I would have paid much more, they are that good at their jobs and that wonderful to work with.

Ryan was an absolute blast to work with! He had no problem working with our very tight schedule (our first meeting with him was 2 weeks before the wedding). He was very professional and enthusiastic about our special day. He provided our ceremony music and reception music at the McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse . He also provided a timeline for the reception, and worked with the photographer and caterers to ensure everything happened as planned. We had an outdoor ceremony and he provided and applied a lapel microphone for our officiant and for the groom so that everyone could hear the ceremony. He provided suggestions for ceremony music, which we used some of and we also had some off the wall ideas that he ran with! He played the music we requested him to play and we received many compliments from guests.

Ryan is absolutely the perfect DJ for your wedding! He injects just the right amount of energy and fun while keeping the party focused on the couple! He was a saint to deal with all of my last minute changes and updated playlists, and he really got the dancing going and kept it up all night. Our dance floor was full all night!

He met with us a couple times before the wedding to nail down exactly what we were looking for, and he brought lots of ideas to the table as well. His experience clearly shows and he is very knowledgeable about AV equipment as well as music! He provided some dramatic uplights and dance lighting for us in addition to his DJ/emcee services too.

We loved having him at our wedding, and many of our other vendors commented on how wonderful he was as well. I would recommend him to anyone!

They do so much more than just play music! In the beginning phases of my planning, I really didn't have any idea how to set a day-of timeline for the ceremony and reception. During that first phone call with Ryan, he helped me plan out the timeline details for the whole day. Adam was our DJ for the wedding - he is so friendly and professional, the sound was perfect during our outdoor ceremony, and everyone had so much fun during the reception. He also coordinated with all of our other vendors, and kept everything on time. He did such a wonderful job, and we couldn't be happier with our wedding day!

He responded to emails promptly and was always available to meet in person.

You can tell he loves what he does and is also very good at it!

We had a lot of our wedding guests dancing and Ryan played a lot of the music that we enjoyed and was playing a LOT of requested music from our guests as well!

I first saw Ryan when he was a DJ at my friends wedding and i was so impressed that I knew he would be the DJ at my wedding. No regrets in the decision I made!!

Such a great company! I met with Adam who I was immediately comfortable with. The week of the wedding, I met with Ryan (the owner) to make sure everything was figured out and he really put me at ease. Adam did such an amazing job the day of the wedding... the volume was perfect, song selection was great even when we requested something a little more unconventional. He had bot of my grandma's up there dancing... perfect!

Ryan was absolutely fantastic! He was prompt at responding to emails/phone calls, he was on time for each time we met, he is hilarious, and knows how to have a great time! I had a slight crisis when my (at-the-time) fiances brother decided to throw his wedding together the month before ours- and his bride walked down to the song I had chosen to walk down to... Needless to say I was upset and now needed to change my entire ceremony music selections (crazy, I know, lol)- Ryan was so calm and patient and helpful. He found a song that I loved a thousand times more than the original! If I was to start the planning over again, I would still use this vendor.

Ryan was a perfect fit. Leading up to the wedding, he was responsive and always available to talk or meet up.

He is super energetic and totally eager to help make your wedding easy for you. He works well with other vendors.

Ryan was great at helping direct and inform guests of the flow of the wedding. He also nailed the song list. He really knew how to get everyone out on the dance floor...all night long! We had a blast with him.

Ryan was FANTASTIC!! He keep our wedding flowing perfectly. I had a Trailblazer garter and he even went out of his way to find the song "Bust a Bucket!" He was not over the top (like some DJs can be). There was not a dull moment on the dance floor, which is what I was looking for. Ryan really keep the party going! He came up to us during the reception just to ask how we were doing, which was really sweet. You can tell he loves his job and truly cares about his work.

Ryan was amazing at our wedding, not only did he do an awesome job at being a DJ but he also helped to keep us on time during the wedding. He payed attention to even the smallest details. The guest all commented on how well he did getting people out on the dance floor...he even managed to get my Grandmother out there. Ryan is energetic and upbeat. We had Ryan at our wedding and he was AMAZING! First of all, he has such a great personality and very nice. He made sure we were all in place and had the timing all coordinated. He was great to work with and very open to any ideas or songs we had in mind. We got so many compliments on how great our DJ was and that he set the mood for the wedding. If you need a DJ, I would highly recommend Ryan!

Ryan was our DJ. He has the most positive attitude of anyone I've ever met. His personality definitely makes for a great DJ. He is very upbeat and got our guests out dancing!! And his pricing plan is very flexible. You can book him for his set hours, then if your guests are still dancing, you can just pay him for half hour increments. It worked out perfectly for us. As he says, you want to end the night on a good note!

Met Ryan the other day for coffee and knew right away I wanted to go with him for our wedding! He was so enthusiastic and seemed to really care about how we wanted things to go. We worked with Ryan for our recent wedding. I planned the wedding from out of town, but the moment we spoke on the phone I knew we could count on him to make our wedding day vision come true. He really helped plan and coordinate our wedding reception. He has a lot of experience and gives very good advice, and he also listens when you have ideas to make your wedding unique. He is energetic, enthusiastic, and fantastic. Everyone had a great time at our wedding and we couldn't have done it without his help! He kept the dance floor moving (we even asked him to stay an extra hour because literally nobody wanted to leave!). Best DJ ever!

Ryan with Perfect Memory Events is awesome! He has so much life to him and obviously cares a great deal about the services he provides. We knew from the moment we met

Ryan was absolutely amazing - in addition to performing the standard ceremony and reception music he also works with your wedding coordinator and photographer in detail to make sure your event goes smoothly. Our budget didnt allow for a professional wedding coordinator, so Ryan stepped in and worked closely with one of our close friends -- we didnt have to worry about anything the whole evening!!! He helped us create the theme and event we were going for! Thanks Ryan!!!
