We had the absolute pleasure of having People Who Could Fly perform at our wedding, and they truly made our celebration unforgettable! From the moment they started playing, the energy in the room was electric. The band’s ability to read the crowd and create the perfect atmosphere throughout the evening was unmatched.
Their professionalism was top-notch from start to finish. The variety of music they performed was fantastic, with something for everyone—from romantic ballads during the ceremony and cocktail hour to upbeat dance tunes that kept everyone on their feet all night long.
Our guests haven’t stopped talking about how amazing the band was, and we couldn’t agree more. People Who Could Fly was the highlight of our wedding, and we are so grateful for the memories they helped create. If you're looking for a wedding band that will bring energy, talent, and a fun vibe to your special day, look no further. We couldn’t recommend them more highly! -

James the manager was very professional, communicated well and often, and was a great resource to work with for our wedding. The band itself was awesome and kept us dancing all night long. It was the top rave review from all of our guests “what a great band”. It was also our favorite part of the night. We highly recommend them for your event too for an affordable live band. -

James is professional to work with--great communicator, follows through, upbeat and willing to do whatever we asked. The band handled everything from our ceremony music, cocktail hour, reception, and MCing. We were very impressed! -

We booked People Who Could Fly for our late March wedding at the Hotel Valley Ho about a year out. James was extremely professional from initial inquiry to the day before performing. He answered all of our questions and even learned my mom's favorite song for our wedding. The band brought more energy than I could've imagined, and the dance floor was never empty! They played songs from the 70s to modern day, and the setlist was so dynamic to the energy of the party. Our guests RAVED about People Who Could Fly all night and even days later asked where we found them. I couldn't recommend James and his band more -- if you're looking for a wedding band, you must book People Who Could Fly!!!People Who Could Fly's reply:

Top notch musicians!
It was an absolute pleasure to work with the band. James was very communicative via email regarding what we were looking for, what they could offer throughout the day (acoustic instrumental pre-ceremony music, acoustic duo during cocktail hour, full band for reception) and also would handle MC-ing and DJ-ing for any recorded music (such as the ceremony music) that we sent him.
They played a wide variety of great covers from the 60s through today. They also graciously offered to learn a couple covers that we wanted to hear (Phish's "First Tube" and LCD Soundsystem's "All My Friends") and they did a great job with both of them.
As an amateur musician myself, and as someone that goes to a LOT of concerts, this band is top notch and professional. They have a 4th member of the band who manages their sound and checks the mix/levels from different spots around the venue, which is awesome. My wedding guests were also very impressed with the band I heard quite a few of them remark about it more than once.
If I was going to throw a party of any type, wedding or otherwise, I'd hire PWCF in a heartbeat. Thanks for helping make our special day rock!People Who Could Fly's reply:

James and the band did an amazing job! They were all very pleasant and professional. They dressed accordingly to the event. They played music in line with the overall vibe of the crowd. They allowed us to use their MIC for toasts They had some great big light saber lights that really created a fun and vibrant atmosphere. We were debating about a DJ vs. live band for our small wedding of 60 guests. We decided on going with People Who Could Fly and they did not disappoint! We wanted a fun/dance atmosphere where the dance floor was packed all night and they met our expectations and more. They allowed us to use their mics for the ceremony which was a huge help. They were able to meet the mood for each part of the event (ceremony, cocktail hour and reception). They 100% knew what they were doing and took charge of MC'ing the entire night flawlessly without really any direction from us. Seriously, best decision we made was booking this group!
