    The Calm we needed

    When we started planning our wedding, we had a clear vision. We knew we had the ability to handle many details ourselves. Still, we made the decision to bring in an expert to elevate our ideas and bring them to life the right way.
    After attending a wedding expo, we felt overwhelmed. We interviewed several planners. From our first meeting, Stacey removed every fear we had. She listened carefully. She understood our vision. She gave us structure, direction, and confidence from day one.

    For a full year, Stacey and her team guided us through every step. She managed everything. From our stationery to the napkins. From the overall theme to the décor with the florist. She coordinated vendors, negotiated contracts, and kept every moving part aligned. Everything was handled in a timely fashion. Nothing was rushed. Nothing was late. Every detail landed exactly when it needed to.

    She saved us money.
    She saved us time.
    She eliminated stress.

    I am someone who likes control. It was hard for me to hand the reins over to someone else. But it was extremely liberating to watch an experienced professional take charge. I stopped worrying about logistics. I started enjoying the process. That shift changed everything for us.

    Our wedding was one week after Christmas. While most people were still in holiday mode, Stacey was in constant communication with vendors. She stayed ahead of issues we did not even know existed. She protected the timeline and kept everything moving.

    During wedding week, Stacey and her team went above and beyond. They showed up early. They followed through. They anticipated needs before anyone had to ask.

    On the wedding day, everything ran like a Swiss watch. The timing was precise. The transitions were seamless. We were able to stay present and enjoy every moment because Stacey was executing behind the scenes.

    We feel blessed to have had Stacey guide us through this journey. She became more than our planner. She became a true friend, and she will remain one.

    If you are feeling overwhelmed like we once did, trust Stacey. She has the experience, the network, and the leadership to deliver at the highest level.

    Dream wedding!

    The whole team was amazing! Stacey’s attention to detail was outstanding. I was having an issue with my dress and Stacey really helped not only calm my nerves but also help fix the situation.. Stacey and her entire team were always available to answer any questions I had during the whole entire wedding planning process. I highly recommend Stacey and her team!

    Cannot thank Peony Events enough!!

    Peony events were just what we needed to plan the wedding tailored perfectly to us - Stacey and her team were incredibly kind and knowledgeable throughout the entire process, helping us navigate vendors and our venue to design exactly what we wanted for our big day. She was a patient and supportive partner throughout the entire process which was just what we needed - hopping on the phone to calm my nerves, talk through decisions, and act as a cheerleader for us on the day of. She's a problem solver who advocated for us day of to work around anything unexpected and keep us on track through the entire run of show. Cannot thank her enough!

    Five-Stars! Highly Recommend Stacey and her team at Peony Events!

    I highly recommend Stacey Sainato and her team at Peony Events! They planned and organized a beautiful bridal shower for me. Working with them was an absolute dream. Communication was seamless every step of the way—they were responsive, organized, and always one step ahead, which made the entire planning process completely stress-free especially since I was planning this shower long distance. The floral arrangements were genuinely breathtaking; every bloom looked fresh, vibrant, and thoughtfully placed to enhance the atmosphere. The invitations were beautifully designed, polished, and perfectly aligned with the theme of the event, and the table décor was gorgeous . Every detail was stunning, from the color palette to the textures and layout—our guests couldn’t stop complimenting everything! Walking into the room felt like stepping into a magazine spread. Thanks to their creativity, professionalism, and incredible attention to detail, our celebration was more beautiful than we could have imagined.     Thankful for Peony Events!!

    We cannot thank Stacey and Peony Events enough for being by our side and for bringing our vision to life and even better than we could've ever imagined. The absolute best planners with the best advice. We weren't going to do a choreographed dance and take dance lessons, but Stacey suggested we consider it, she said that all of her couples end up having the best time and they are unexpected, fun date nights..which in turn, bring up your dancing to the next level. Our guests were blown away and were joking around with us about being on dancing with the stars, lol. We NEVER thought it would be for us until Stacey made the suggestion and explained it to us in more detail. This is just one example of Peony Events expertise and wonderful advice to us during our wedding planning. Most of our meetings were on zoom, but when we were able to, we loved being at the Peony Events storefront..it's calm, beautiful and serene. In the month of our wedding, we dropped off all of our day of items and even shipped last minute items to Peony Events which was super convenient. They brought everything to our venue on the day of which helped us out tremendously. We hired Peony Events for partial planning and design and the only regret we have is that we wished we hired them for full planning. If you want a planner who will support you, give you honest advice, bring creativity to your designs, Peony Events is the perfect match for you.     Peony Events = The absolute BEST Wedding Planners!

    My husband, our families and I are forever grateful for Stacey and the amazing team at Peony Events! We keep saying we truly don't know what we would've done without them, throughout all of the planning and during our entire wedding weekend. We interviewed several planners in NJ and NY for full planning and we just knew hands down that Stacey and Peony Events was the PERFECT fit for us (and our Mom's). Stacey has a very calming way about her that just immediately put my type A mind at ease from our very first zoom meeting. Whenever we had any questions, they (Stacey/Meghan) answered them in a timely manner and always went above and beyond. From assistance with our venue, all of our vendors, to our overall design/mood boards, flower selections, invitations, and all the day of details to even assisting with my bridal attire..they literally assisted us every step of the way. On the day of the wedding, we stayed on schedule to the minute-by-minute solid timeline they put together for us. Our venue and all of the vendors complimented us on how detailed their timeline was, the team at Peony Events are true professionals and rockstars. Every step of the way, we could always count on Peony Events! Thank you a million times over. We know we will stay friends with Stacey because she feels more like family to us then our wedding planner after working with her for a year and a half.     The Best Decision We Made – Working with Peony Events

    Working with Stacey and the Peony Events team was truly the best decision we made for our wedding (and our couples shower!). From our very first meeting, Stacey’s professionalism, warmth, and vision immediately put me at ease. Planning a wedding is often described as stressful, but thanks to Stacey, our experience was the complete opposite — it was fun, creative, and incredibly meaningful.

    Stacey brought a level of creativity and style that made our events feel personal and elevated, all while remaining beautifully cohesive. She has a natural ability to translate a vision into reality, and her attention to detail is unmatched. Beyond her eye for design, what truly sets Stacey apart is her deep-rooted relationships with top-tier vendors. Every recommendation she made — from florals to rentals to entertainment — was a perfect match, and I always felt like I was in the best hands.

    What I appreciated most was the confidence and peace of mind Stacey gave us. I never had to worry about a thing — I was able to be fully present for every moment, knowing she had everything handled flawlessly behind the scenes. She truly became someone I trusted wholeheartedly, and I cannot imagine going through the planning process without her.

    If you’re on the fence about hiring a planner — let this be your sign. Working with Peony Events allowed us to actually enjoy the months leading up to our big day and to soak in every second when it arrived.     Top Notch Service

    I can’t put into words how appreciative I am for the work Stacey and the whole Peony Events team put in for our wedding. I had extremely high expectations with a very specific vision but no idea how to capture it all. We had a big wedding with some complicated design and travel logistics. Stacey was unbelievable in the way in which she not only brought my vision to life but also knew where to add her own advice, perspective and input. She guided me around areas I was less informed about and also found ways to ensure we had the right vendors, people, and details for everything I wanted. She managed the whole process for me with the vendors and the venue. This was truly crucial for me because of my demanding job. Stacey also has a way of making you feel calm. She can destress any situation. Both my mom and I continue to talk about how positive, stress-free and fun she made the entire wedding process. I can’t speak more positively about Stacey and her team. She is a class act!

    Wedding Planner Angels!

    Stacey is an absolute wedding planner angel! From our first conversation up until the wedding day, she guided us through the process with professionalism, amazing vendor referrals, the best day of timeline and wedding day that I had always dreamed of. I'm a pretty anxious person and Stacey has a calming demeanor that just puts your mind at ease, which is something that was priceless in itself for me. She made our wedding planning stress free, seamless and a truly enjoyable experience.     Helps your wedding day stay on track!

    My sister worked with Stacey for her wedding back in 2021, and when I got engaged, Stacey was my first call. Stacey and Janelle were amazing on my September 2024 wedding day at Perona Farms! I knew everything would go seamlessly day of with their support - from coordinating with all the vendors, to helping with my wedding dress, to taking behind the scenes footage, they were amazing at making sure I was well taken care of! Stacey was incredibly helpful leading up the big day, and her calming presence is great to be around during what could become a stressful event. If you're looking for a planner or coordinator, I highly recommend Peony!!

    Amazing service - professional, knowledgeable and very fun to work with. Stacey was so helpful in bringing my vision to life on my big day. My stress levels would have been through the roof planning without her and everything turned out perfectly.     Superwoman Stacey - June 2024 Wedding Success

    Our 6/1/24 wedding was an absolute dream and was all we had wanted and more with Stacey and her team (special shout out to the beautiful Melody and Aubrey) by our sides.
    Stacey and I worked together for a few months leading up to the special day, as I had hired Peony Events for partial wedding planning. Beyond selecting the vendors I had wanted, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed by the period leading up the wedding and finalizing the small details. Stacey and her team went above and beyond to ensure that I felt reassured and confident in every decision. From coordinating hotel welcome boxes, day-of-stationary, connecting us with our officiant, coordinating directly with the venue and even coming to multiple dress fittings despite being in the height of wedding season - she did it all. I am inspired and in awe of Stacey, cultivating special relationships and being open to sharing all her extensive knowledge with her brides. Peony Events is a wonderful woman-owned business and my husband and I appreciate her and her team's efforts more than she could imagine.

    Wedding Planner Extraordinaire

    If you don’t think you need a wedding planner, think again!

    I am so happy that we hired Peony events for my daughter’s July wedding! Stacey came highly recommended by my cousin. She was so kind, helpful, and thoughtful throughout the whole process. My daughter and I both work full time and have crazy schedules. Stacey was attentive and worked with my daughter’s schedule to do phone or zoom meetings with her and her fiancé and vendors. She also helped us get our wedding programs printed and delivered to us. There was so much behind the scenes stuff that she and her assistant did the day of the wedding. The ceremony and reception were at different locations. Everything was in place at the reception. The attention to detail and professionalism were second to none. I would tell anyone who is considering a wedding planner to hire Stacey and Peony Events. You won’t regret it.

    Absolutely perfect wedding

    Hiring Maria Cucciniello at Peony Events was the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. We had our ceremony at St. Vincent Martyr and our reception at the Madison Hotel in Morristown, NJ. Throughout the whole process, Maria responded promptly to phone calls and emails. She is highly organized and her attention to detail is impeccable. We had a very specific vision for our reception which made logistics a little more complicated, but Maria was incredibly organized with all these details and was very receptive to all our ideas. Maria even came to our church rehearsal to introduce herself and drop off items that were needed for the ceremony. Everything was flawlessly executed on the wedding day. On the wedding day I felt so at ease knowing that Maria and her assistant, Tu ReCasino, were making sure everything went smoothly. I really did not have to worry about a thing. Maria should be running the country, she is just so awesome. I cannot recommend Peony Events enough.

    Absolute BEST experience!

    Working with Stacey to plan our wedding over Memorial Day Weekend was an absolute dream. Our vision for our wedding was a little atypical, and her excitement and creativity from our first call helped make our wedding day more than we could have possibly imagined. The best part about working with Peony Events, aside from flawless execution and attention to detail, is that they always keep your vision in mind. I loved having someone who took the time to understand what I was creating and work with me to carry it through. Stacey supported my choosing a venue that had never held a wedding because she saw the potential I did and just worked with me to make it happen. Stacey is a true Wedding Angel.     A+++++ Experience!

    Thanks to Maria for making my daughter’s wedding absolutely perfect! From the moment she came aboard, she made us all feel so comfortable and in such good hands, and that carried through to the very end of the evening. She and her assistant were so professional, organized, personable, and with such good suggestions, the whole experience could not have been one ounce better. It was just a spectacular event. They made everything happen so seamlessly and perfectly and gave my daughter and son-in-law the wedding they had dreamed of. A better start to their married life together I can’t imagine!

    Had the absolute best experience working with Maria and Tu of Peony Events for our recent wedding! They were by our side the entire day anticipating every need and truly alleviated any extra stress for my now husband and I and our families.     Amazing, would work with again in a heartbeat!

    We hired Peony Events for our wedding in New York City and it was the best decision I made. Christine is an absolute angel. She is so organized, detail oriented, on top of everything and was working her magic in the background so I didn’t need to worry about the details leading up to the wedding. She has a deep network in the industry and knew the majority of my vendors already; the ones she didn’t know prior, she clicked with immediately. She has the most calming energy and made me feel at ease throughout the entire process and on my wedding day. She went above and beyond to make sure my vision became a reality.     Amazing experience with Peony Events!

    We hired Peony Events at the last minute for their day of coordinator package. Maria started working with us 2 weeks prior to the wedding and I truly do not know what I would've done without her. She thought of every detail, including many things I hadn't thought of, created our wedding day timeline, and took care of contacting and confirming all my vendors before the wedding. On the day of, she and Heather were rockstars, making sure that all family, bridal party, and vendors were where they were supposed to be and everything was running ahead of schedule. On the day of your wedding, naturally you're going to be busy talking to as many people as possible, taking photos, etc, that they day goes by so fast and is such a blur. I can't imagine if I had to add worrying about logistics into the mix. Having the team there really helped me to relax and enjoy the day as much as possible.

    The time of my life

    I was celebrating a milestones birthday, I only had a couple of weeks to put together my dream bash.
    Immediately Stacy, Maria, and Christine went right to work. They were so confident that everything was going to be perfect. They took my vision and pulled together the best vendors in the party event market.
    The result of all their efforts was an amazing event that told my story and celebrated my birthday.

    Christine my event planner made the perfect choices and stylish design. She was professional and personable. Christine invested her time, expertise, and passion to make this event to be possible.

    Wow! What an amazing group of ladies (Stacey, Christine and Tu). Peony was recommended to us by our venue and I'm so thankful for them. Although our wedding day was nothing short of perfect, we did have a few hiccups the week leading up to the big day; Christine handled it all with grace and professionalism. Christine was absolutely amazing to work with - accessible, professional, organized, caring, calm - I could go on and on. I really don't know what I would have done without their services.     The Best!!!!

    I don’t even know where to start, I am still on cloud nine from the fabulous wedding weekend Stacey and Maria of Peony Events helped us host for our daughter and son in law

    From day one with my first phone call with Maria back in April 2021, still in the midst of COVID, just after Kelly and Michael were engaged, I knew we were in good hands and on the same page. All of our vendors and reception venue (the Mansion at Natirar…it was the only place Kelly envisioned their reception) were their preferred vendors. Maria quickly made phone calls and everything was secured within a few days…Kelly was thrilled, she was on her way to planning the perfect day!

    In the coming 16 months Maria and Stacey were with us every step of the way from picking the invitation suite (Little Black Dress Paperie), gorgeous floral arrangements (Jardinere Fine Florists), pin spotting (who knew it was a thing and it made all the difference!), recommending Tapsnap for photobooth, a last minute add and truly the hit of the evening, sending us videos of bands and helping us find Clara Jordan Band, absolutely fantastic and I don’t think there was a moment the dance floor was not filled and most of all Lauren Kearns Photography and Steph and Justin of Tonemedia to capture all the special moments of the day..they were absolutely incredible and made us all feel so comfortable…my sister in-law even asked me if Lauren was a friend…a true testament to her wonderful personality!

    As the wedding drew closer all the final details and confirmations were executed by both of you flawlessly. Every detail was put into place exactly as Kelly and I had envisioned for the day. It was such a joy to see the day unfold just as we had dreamed it.. even the weather cooperated. Maria handled 3 hiccups like a pro…2 days before the wedding the vintage limo we had reserved lost it’s AC Maria worked with our vendor and tracked down a replacement that was perfect, she sewed Kelly into her dress when the hook and eye broke as we were zippering her in for her bridal portraits and remaking and pinning on my husband’s boutonnière when one of the roses fell off, I think from too much hugging of the bride! We did not have to think about anything on the wedding day…you both had it well in hand and guided us seamlessly through the entire day. It was like having your best friends supporting your every need and making sure everything was perfect. We all couldn’t be more grateful..especially my husband when he said “wow! Now I understand what you all were working so hard on! The attention to detail really paid off!”

    Thank you doesn’t seem enough. It was a special gift Maria and Stacey gave us to be able to have such a picture perfect day for Kelly and Michael. We were truly blessed to find Peony Events through a referral from good friends and we will definitely be recommending Peony Events to anyone who needs THE BEST wedding planners!

    Enthusiastic and Organized

    Peony Events was recommended to us by our venue as well as a friend who had worked with them. After connecting with Stacey, we had our initial call with Maria and we hit it off right away. Maria is personable, engaging, and fun to collaborate with.

    Since we had secured a number of vendors already, Peony worked with us pricing and set us up with a custom plan. We felt it was very clear what Maria was responsible for, which was extremely helpful and kept the lines from being blurry, but she repeatedly did go above and beyond for us. She connected my mom with someone who could help her find a Mother of the Bride dress and she reached out to some after party location options for us as well, for example.

    Maria and Peony are very systematic and organized, which helped us feel on track with all the little things a wedding can entail and the consistency in Maria’s communication was helpful for us and our vendors. Beyond that, Maria helped us find vendors who could help make our vision come to life, helped us understand industry standards and best practices in the business, and helped organize my ideas into a creative vision. She has a great eye and was key to making design choices, such as linens, table scapes, floral color schemes, and invitations. We also had Maria with us at our tasting, and she was a great thought partner with strong recommendations about items guests often enjoy at weddings. (She was right too! Everyone loved the food.)

    The night before the wedding, there was a slight hiccup with a vendor and Maria handled it swiftly and professionally.

    The day of the wedding, Maria and her assistant were enthusiastic, always smiling and genuinely excited to see the day we’d all worked so hard on come to life. I will always treasure that - I really appreciated it because they honestly brought so much additional joy to the day. Peony also kept us moving all day long, to keep the schedule as on track as possible, and made sure that my mom, groom and I didn’t worry about a thing all day.

    We couldn’t have pulled it off without Maria and Peony. What a wonderful experience. Thank you Maria!

    The best planner!

    Stacey was extremely helpful with planning our wedding!! She was very understanding and flexible when we had to move our original wedding date and helped us negotiate different things with our venue. She even worked with my husband to plan and coordinate a surprise for me by having a singer (who wasn’t in the band) come to sing our first dance song! I’m so happy we booked her for the 6 weeks prior planning package because it definitely made the weeks leading up to the wedding way less stressful!

    I had the Peony Events team for month of. Stacey was absolutely amazing and kept me sane through pushing out my wedding a full year.     Soooo helpful

    Maria and Stacey at Peony events are amazing!! We hired Peony Events as our "month of/day of" coordinators, and they absolutely killed it. They came highly recommended from both my florist and my venue, and they did not disappoint. They took SOOO much pressure off me on the day of the wedding by acting as my point of contact for all my vendors, and helped me with anything and everything I needed throughout the entire day. In the last month and a half leading up to our wedding day, we were in contact with Maria almost every day. She was always willing to take the time to answer my questions whether it be by text, call or email. In the final weeks leading up to the wedding, Maria helped us complete all the final details, like reception place card ideas, ordering linens for the reception, and contacting every single one of my vendors to confirm all the details for the wedding day (and there were A LOT). She even created a document with a minute by minute break down of the wedding day, which she went through in detail with me to make sure we were on the same page at all times. And let me tell you, I appreciated that SO DAMN MUCH...it may not seem like a big deal, but up until that point, I had known that I booked most of my vendors and had help from my mom with all the planning, but I still felt SO stressed, unorganized, chaotic, and overwhelmed with remembering so much information. Working with Maria, going through all the details, knowing that she knew about EVERYTHING and could take the reins from there, felt like the biggest relief. She was organized, thorough, easy to talk to, and soooo helpful. She was at the venue ALL DAY for our wedding, constantly making sure everything was running smoothly, and helping out wherever needed. I would recommend Maria, Stacey, and Peony Events to anyone!!! So glad I made the decision to get a “month of” planner, and even more glad we went with Peony Events.     I cannot recommend Stacey and her team enough for planning a wedding! I really don't know how she does it! She was on top of everything, on every vendor call, traveled to my final dress fitting, put my mind at ease with the worry and stress of having a wedding during a pandemic, I can go on and on.     It's hard to know where to even begin in expressing our thanks and profound gratitude for Stacey.

    Stacey essentially single-handedly transformed our Wedding day into an absolute dream come true.

    Planning a wedding in the best of times is stressful; there are many decisions to be made, details to take care of, logistics to think through.

    Planning a wedding in 2020 really just took the level of challenge involved -- both anticipated and unforeseen -- to another level.

    For us, such challenges involved navigating the general uncertainty about what we would and would not be able to do on our wedding day, and the ultimate format our celebration would take, a venue cancellation and a hotel block cancellation, both within 5 weeks of our wedding day, as well as a hurricane that caused a week of power-outages the week of our wedding.

    Stacey helped us navigate and pivot as needed through every single one of these challenges, with a supernatural level ease and composure.

    She is so responsive, so on top of everything -- every single detail, and possesses an admirable strength and composure that is calming, gentle and understated. I can't fully express our gratitude for her guidance, her approach to handling everything, and her presence. She supported and uplifted us throughout the whole process, especially during the moments when it was difficult to feel anything resembling happiness or optimism.

    It was easy to see that Stacey's professionalism, approach, presence and demeanor were not only admired by us, her clients, but also by those she works with. Stacey has close and long-held relationships with venues and vendors in the area, and from our perspective, her ability to assemble a team of truly the most absolutely wonderful people we could have ever hoped to work with as we planned our wedding -- made our entire planning process and wedding day more special than we could have ever believed and something we'll always remember.

    When our wedding weekend finally arrived, all of the stresses, worries, and anxieties completely melted away. It was beyond a dream come true and we had not one care, concern, or worry, other than enjoying every single moment of the day. Everything went smoothly and every detail was perfects, which is truly and singularly a reflection of Stacey and her team. As a bride, I will never know, but have a profound appreciation for the level of work and coordination that was required to pull everything off so flawlessly and without any detection.

    Best Wedding Planner!

    Stacey and her team at Peony Events were so incredible throughout the entire process of planning my wedding. We hit it off right from the start and she took the time to get to know my fiance and I. I unfortunately had to postpone my May 2020 wedding until August 2020 due to COVID-19 and Stacey was a lifesaver. She took care of everything so that I didn't have to worry or stress about anything and there aren't enough words to say how grateful I was to have her during this stressful time. Stacey made sure to contact all of my vendors for my new date, always gave me her advice on things when I wouldn't be sure of something, and lastly was just always there to listen to me even at the most hectic times. She goes out of her way for her clients and goes above and beyond to make sure that her bride is happy no matter what. She was able to pull off miracles and made my wedding day our fairy tale. I would definitely recommend Stacey and her team if you are planning your wedding trust me you won't regret it!

    Outdoor Country Club Wedding

    We hired Stacey and her team for their Partial Planning Services after we had selected all our vendors for our June 8th wedding. After speaking on the phone with several planners, I knew immediately that Stacey was the perfect fit to help plan the remainder of our event. I was insisting on an outdoor wedding at our Country Club which would not allow us to have a tent. Since our wedding would be the first wedding to be entirely outside at the club, we needed extra help in floor plan design and flow of the day. Stacey ensured me she had done a wedding at a Country Club that was a similar situation and managed to help us build from scratch an entirely new way of doing things that the club agreed to go along with in order to satisfy my outdoor wedding. She then handled following up with all the vendors and making sure each was prepared to be outside and for how the setup was going to be. Her handling the communication with everyone prior and especially on the day of was one of the biggest stress relievers for myself and my family. She not only acted as a wedding planner but as a mediator and confidante when things got stressful. Stacey remained calm throughout the entire process which was exactly what we needed. She stopped involving me in any discussion of what would happen if it rained, which was very helpful for me in preserving a positive mindset for the day. The day turned out to be the best weather day of the year let alone June, it was 81 and sunny and the sunset was one of the best we had ever seen. If something went wrong, I didn't know about it and that was the best part of deciding to hire Stacey and her team, they let my family and I enjoy the best day ever. Our club was so pleased with how the event went, and upon learning that their staff could pull it off, that they will now be offering Outdoor Weddings as another option in their wedding packages :)

    I can't say enough about working with Stacey -- from the minute we chatted on the phone, I knew she'd be perfect.     Wedding Coordinator

    Stacey and her team at Peony Events were unbelievable. We used Stacey for both consulting hours early on in the process and then month of coordination and it was all worth it. Although we were able to locate and book some big vendors on our own, we needed help pulling everything together and making it all work, and Stacey was just the person we were looking for. She was so down to earth and patient with us when we were trying to make the decisions about the details, and she had such a calming presence on us.

    There were two big moments where Stacey and her team really shined. The first was three days before the wedding, when we learned that a potential nor’easter might interfere with our plan for an outdoor ceremony. After some brainstorming, we decided to tent an outdoor portion of the venue. Our venue was a bit apprehensive about this, but Stacey convinced them and found a heated tenting vendor with about 48 hours to go (and she convinced them to knock down the price for good measure). The tent was up for us to practice in on Friday for the rehearsal and was nice and heated for all our guests during the ceremony. The tent was the best idea and our ceremony was incredible.

    The second, and most important thing, that stood out was her commitment to my biggest goal: having my brother with autism walk down the aisle on our wedding day. Stacey knew and understood how important it was for me to have my brother have the opportunity to walk down the aisle, and she helped us see it through (from making sure the tent was up on Friday so that he could practice in a new space with people, to making sure he had multiple exit strategies and second chances to make it down the aisle). On the day of the wedding, my brother walked down the aisle, and gave my husband a hug and a high five. Although my parents and I could only see bits of it through a tiny window in the staging room, Stacey came running back to us and emotionally told us that he did it - that he walked down the aisle. Besides getting married to my best friend, that was the most special moment of my day which would not have been possible without an amazing team of vendors including Stacey.

    All of this is to say, you have to hire Stacey. She will work tirelessly to make sure your wedding day is everything you wanted. Moreover, she is stellar in last minute changes and “crisis” situations. I don’t know how we would have done a wedding without her, and I could not recommend her more.

    Simply delightful!

    From the moment we met Stacey, she totally understood the vibe and feel of our wedding day. Stacey was extremely easy to talk to and helped in any way she could to make the days leading up to, and our day the best it could be! From big tasks like helping with stubborn vendors and helping with little things like color of ribbon Stacey is your girl. It was so nice to have someone there 24/7 and to help with the itinerary the day of.     Simply put, there are not enough words to express my thanks to Peony Events for their unrivaled support with the planning and preparations for my December 2017 wedding. I live in Manhattan and work extremely long hours, so the thought of pulling off a wedding in Benardsville, NJ - and coordinating all of the fun little logistics that come with it - was completely daunting to me. That said, in the days following our affair, several friends and family members have told us our wedding was the most lovely and flawless affair they'd ever attended, and that's all thanks to Stacey and her team. Hiring Peony Events was hands-down the single best decision we made around our wedding.

    At one point before our ceremony - when the Peony team was in the throes of doing an emergency seat reshuffle due to a few guests having the flu - one of my bridesmaids turned to me and said, "who are these women and HOW are they the epitome of calm? I just calm down when I look at them." I think that sentiment really summed up the whole weekend nicely. Peony helped us with everything from our welcome drinks to our day-of prep and ultimately, the main event itself. Rest assured that we had a few questionable contractual terms, cancelling chauffeurs, last-minute guest cancellations and other fun hiccups in the mix, but Stacey's team was quick, calm and diligent through all of our ups and downs.

    My husband went so far as to say that he wishes he could create fake Facebook identities to write more positive reviews for Peony Events because he's that committed to sending the Peony team more business! We won't sham the internet with that approach, but I'd once again stress how impressed we were with Stacey and the Peony team; this workaholic bride cannot recommend them highly enough to other couples considering a wedding planner!

    Stacey and her team at Peony Events made our daughters wedding a relaxing and stress free event from the beginning til the end. Let me start by saying I wasn’t even convinced that I needed a planner, as I did enjoy working with my daughter to plan her special day. My husband convinced me when he said “if it makes you easier to live with wedding week then hire her.” Stacey was an absolute delite from our first meeting until the wee hours of the morning after the wedding. She thought of all the little details that I then did not need to worry about. She also assisted the grooms mom with the rehearsal dinner, came to my daughters dress fittings and had great advice, and coordinated with all the vendors in the days leading up to the wedding. She was there hanging donuts on our donut wall at midnight making sure they looked just right. ANd now that it’s been a few months I can truly say Stacey has become a friend to both me and my daughter, and I know I will use her in the future for party planning services.     Stacey and the Peony Events team were absolutely amazing! I chose Stacey for month of coordination services and it was by far the BEST decision I made throughout the entire wedding planning process.

    In the hectic weeks leading up to our wedding Stacey kept me calm, solved every problem that arose effortlessly, and was always available to answer any questions I had.

    On the day of our wedding, Stacey and her team worked tirelessly to make sure every single detail was executed perfectly and that we were able to truly enjoy our day.

    Stacey is not only incredibly professional and talented, she is one of the kindest and most sincere people I have ever met. (Seriously, I loved working with her so much that I cried saying goodbye the end of the night.)

    We are forever grateful to the Peony Events team for helping us have the wedding of our dreams, and cannot recommend them highly enough!

    Stacey and her team were incredible to work with. I was on the fence for a while about using a planner and I'm so lucky/grateful I chose to work with Peony Events. Stacey was a calming presence throughout my day and there wasn't anything she wasn't willing to help with or do to make my day perfect. Whether it be early morning/late night phone calls, helping me figure out a last minute floor plan change, bustling/steaming my dress, making sure I ate at the reception, etc. etc. She truly was the best. Anyone on the fence about using a planner should 1) do it, it will be worth it and 2) use Peony Events!!

    Stacey and her team at Peony Events were absolutely amazing in helping plan and execute our wedding. She helped us in so many ways to ensure that our vision carried through in every single detail of our wedding. Stacey and her team were not only amazing at planning but they were also a complete pleasure to work with. I was able to contact Stacey literally any time if I had any problems or questions before the wedding and she always made her self available. She accompanied us to every vendor appointment prior to the wedding which was a fantastic help because she knew exactly what questions to ask when we didn't. On the day of our wedding I did not have to worry about a single detail because I knew Stacey was on top of everything. My husband and I and our parents were able to totally enjoy the day without a worry because of Stacey and her team. I would highly recommend Peony Events to anyone!

    My husband and I got engaged in September of 2015. We lived in DC at the time, but we were planning a Jersey Shore wedding as that is where I'm originally from. Therefore, we needed to help to plan the wedding from afar. I did a bit of internet research and came across Stacey and her team. Stacey drove out to my parents house a few weeks later for a 'meet and greet,' and the rest is history. We hired Stacey and her team for her full planning package which covers really any wedding related decisions/timelines/details that you can think of. Throughout the whole process Stacey was extremely professional, kind, and efficient. The wedding weekend though is where we thought she her team really shined. From the rehearsal dinner all the way through the brunch the day after the wedding Peony Events was onsite and ready to direct the whole weekend. Every single person we've spoken with has commented that ours was the best wedding they've ever been to. Yes, the venue/food/music had a lot to do with it. However, the behind scenes work that Peony Events does to ensure every single step runs smoothly and effortlessly without a single person knowing what is happening...that is the secret sauce to a successful wedding. Stacey handled my crazy family and their insane demands with grace and a smile. Trust me...that is not an easy thing to do. The weekend simply wouldn't have been the same without the team from Peony Events. We couldn't recommend this business anymore if we tried. Book them immediately!

    Stacey and her Staff at Peony Events made our Wedding Dream come true. Upon first speaking with Stacey I knew I found my Wedding angel. Her soothing voice and calm demeanor were my port in the wedding planning storm. Stacey is a pro all the way from beginning to end she was by my side in a wonderful way, softly guiding, being diplomatic and harmonious with all involved. When ever my fiancé heard Stacey's name, he always said "Thank God for this woman"!

    Peony Events did an amazing job planning our daughter's wedding!
    Stacey and her team covered every detail and were very easy to work with.
    Stacey has great design ideas of her own but is also very talented at bringing the bride and groom's vision to life.
    All of the vendors that she recommended were top notch and the wedding ceremony and reception were absolutely beautiful!
    Six months later and we are still hearing from guests about how unbelievable the wedding was.

    My first experience with Peony Events was at my Best Friends wedding where i was a bridesmaid. I was very impressed with their professionalism and how they handled all of the stresses of the day without the bride ever knowing. When it came time for me to plan my wedding day, I knew immediately that I was going to hire Peony Events. They were the first call I made after booking my venue. I hired Stacey and her team for their day of and month prior planning. They exceeded all of my expectations. The month prior to your wedding is the most stressful. Stacey and her team alleviated much of that stress for me. She expertly organized all of my vendors, confirmed my guest attendance, and solved for all of the last minute hick-ups that occurred before i even knew about them. The day of my wedding was nothing short of spectacular. At no time did i feel pressure or overwhelmed. I have a very strong Type A personality, as does my mom, which means we are very detail oriented people. Stacey was wonderful to us. She always had an answer or was quick to find one. My day was entirely stress free and that was largely in part to Stacey and her team. I highly recommend Peony Events to any bride-to-be. I can honestly say that, next to marrying my husband, hiring Peony Events was the best decision I made on my wedding day.

    Upon first meeting Stacey, I knew that I was in great hands and felt so lucky to have found her and Peony Events. That first impression could not have been more correct! The best advice that I could give any bride would be to hire Peony Events - whether you want small and intimate, large and grand, or anything in between. Stacey takes the time to get to know you and what you want - even if you can't quite articulate what that is exactly - and works to bring that perfect wedding, whatever "perfect" means to you and your partner, to life. Stacey kept me calm throughout the process and created the most perfect, beautiful day for us. She brought to life our vision for the day - from our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception to the afterparty. It was understated and personal, celebratory and fun, elegant and stunning all in one. Seemingly effortless - thanks to all of Peony Events' hard work! Stacey was more than a wedding planner, she became a true friend during the entire process. Words cannot describe how supportive Stacey is in every way, and how impeccable her taste and judgment is - she is amazing at what she does and is just the nicest person! She put everyone at ease (especially my mom), while firmly and professionally making sure that everything was done perfectly. I am embarrassed about how long it has taken me to write this review! Even after 7 months, we are still regularly getting compliments about the wedding - we even got some thank you notes from guests - it was that amazing! Everything was beyond perfect, and it was ALL thanks to Stacey and her wonderful team. Here is the best advice I can give: 1) choose Peony Events and 2) take Stacey's suggestions about vendors - there is a reason she is a pro and her trusted vendors are phenomenal - the only issues/stress we had at all were with the few vendors I chose on my own. TRUST ME, trust Stacey and you will not go wrong - your wedding will be beyond what you could have even imagined, just like ours was!

    I don't even know where to start! I started planning my wedding thinking I knew everything I wanted. I quickly realized the details aren’t as easy to bring to life. I met with Stacey and we connected right away, she understood exactly what I wanted and from that moment on I couldn’t have imagined planning my wedding day without Stacey. Stacey and the whole Peony Events team were absolutely amazing! They were attentive, easy to work with and so pleasant. Stacey was ALWAYS available for anything, her work and passion is truly incredible. Her integrity and loyalty to her work is unlike anything I have ever imagined. My wedding day at Mallard Island Yacht Club was everything and more. James and I are so grateful to have not only worked with Peony Events but also grown a friendship.     My husband and I are still talking about how incredible Stacey and the rest of the Peony Event staff were. We had a farm wedding so a lot of the decor and furniture (including hay stacks and whiskey barrels) all needed to be arranged and designed. Their creativity and professionalism was unbelievable. Stacey does not forget one detail and throughout the whole process helped iron our details and confirm vendors for us. I know our wedding went beyond our expectations because of Peony Events!     We chose to use Peony Events for their partial event planning services and it was one of the best decisions we made! Even though our venue had an amazing and capable staff who could have helped with our requests and needs, it is not the same as having the detailed attention of Stacey and her team throughout the entire process. I am a bit of a perfectionist and knowing that Stacey understood my vision from start to finish, really kept me at ease on my wedding day. The month of my wedding, Stacey and I were in contact almost daily. Whether it be through text, e-mail or phone – she was always available for me (and my mom!). What I loved most about Stacey is that she would listen to my ideas and with her experience and expertise coupled with my vision – we were always able to come to a solution on everything we discussed.

    We got married at a church and I truly don’t know what I would have done without Stacey and her team coordinating the ceremony. At the rehearsal, she worked closely with my priest to ensure everything went according to plan and on the day of, the ceremony went perfectly. Then, when we arrived at our reception space, all the details and décor elements that I had discussed with Stacey were executed flawlessly.

    Not only is Stacey amazing at what she does, but she is the nicest person and has a very professional, yet kind approach in doing her job. I received so many compliments from friends and family about how nice and organized she was. There are so many little details that go into a wedding and even though I thought I was on top of every detail, Stacey literally thought of everything possible. She will also provide you with her preferred vendor list and all the vendors I chose from there were great. I highly recommend choosing Peony Events for your big day. Even if you think you don’t need wedding planning services, you should definitely reconsider and choose Peony Events – I promise it will be one of the best decisions you make!

    Honestly I don't know where to begin with Stacey and Peony Events because my mind is still blown a week and a half post-wedding at how perfect and exactly to my and my groom's style, detail, tastes, and expectations everything was. And the wedding day was only a part of the joy working with Stacey! Throughout the many months we worked together on my cross-the-country wedding Stacey was so very on the ball with organization, creativity, and kindness. Her team is wonderful, and the vendors she associates with are marvelous. I worried about nothing and got to actually enjoy planning my wedding (which is more than most people can say!) and then feel like I was floating on a cloud on the actual day of.     I contacted Stacey about a month before my wedding day in a panic about how I was going to get everything done in time. After a thorough phone call, I was sold. Stacey took care of contacting all my vendors and organized (also attended) final meetings right away. She provided us with a detailed timeline of the day's events and was there to execute it.     Stacey and her staff at Peony Events made my wedding a truly blissful experience - from our first call to our final toast! I planned my NJ wedding from California, where I am from, and relied on Stacey to connect me with all of my vendors. Each vendor - hair, makeup, flowers, venue, and photography - were absolutely outstanding! Flying across country to meet vendors didn't allow much time for misses, and each one was a perfect fit on the first try! It was such a relief to know that my event was in such excellent hands!! For our wedding day last weekend, Stacey brought two of her staff members to assist in attending to every little detail for our wedding day.     I had no intention to hire a wedding planner - yes for a wedding day coordinator. However when I was browsing Style Me Pretty's (blog website) articles with detailed images of clients' weddings from preparation, ceremony, and reception, and comments from the bride and groom the common denominator for the articles I fell in love with was wedding planner, Peony Events. No brainer I immediately contacted Peony Events. I was pleasantly surprised with my first phone call with Stacey because I felt an immediate connection and comfort. The reason I write comfort because at the time I was all over the place with ideas, wedding books, and anything and everything. After our first in-person meeting it was again a no brainer to "say yes" to Peony Events. Within weeks vendors were booked, timeline of events were in place and it was smooth sailing from there. Weeks and days before and on the day of the wedding, events you couldn't imagine happened which were out of anyone's control but Peony Events continued to work through with alternative solutions and managed every item which kept my fiancé then and I cool. The Peony Events family (includes their preferred vendors) exceeded our expectations that without hesitation we have recommended their services along with their preferred vendors to our recently engaged friends and family.     Stacey & her team at Peony Events Co are wonderful! We opted for a full wedding planning package and it made for a smooth process from start to finish. Stacey recommended top notch vendors and found us the perfect match! She was so knowledgeable throughout and was able to negotiate great rates. Quick to respond, calm + reassuring throughout the planning, and a magician on the day-of. We had a few things go wrong, as expected when planning so many moving parts, and she was quick to step in fix them so that we didn't have to stress. We can't say enough about how great Stacey and her team were professionally, but maybe more importantly she has become such a good friend! It is hard to work alongside someone so caring and sweet and not build a personal relationship with them, we definitely plan to use Peony/Stacey for future events we have!     Stacey and the entire Peony Events team were absolutely fantastic! I really can't say enough about what a wonderful experience it was working with Stacey. Several months into wedding planning, I realized that I really wanted/needed someone to assist with logistics the day of the wedding. Stacey was fabulous! She went above and beyond with just about everything-incredibly responsive to emails, always willing to meet with us in the evening and was so helpful during vendor meetings. She is a true professional (she asked questions during the vendor meetings that I didn't even think of) and has great design ideas. I had a vision for the wedding but she really helped make it all a reality! She facilitated linen/candle rentals for me and ensured that the reception space looked amazing when I walked in - everything was exactly how we discussed and I was so happy to see all the details come together!

    As my husband and I reflect on the wedding, we both agree that Stacey was the absolute best decision we made. I didn't have a single worry throughout the day! It seemed like Stacey could read my mind because when a question did pop into my head, she already had it covered. Stacey and her team are absolute professionals but are also such kind and friendly people. Our meetings were always productive and enjoyable.     Our wedding was last weekend and I honestly don't know what I would've done with Stacey's help! She went above and beyond when it came to making our vision a reality. Through the conversations I had with local vendors, it's obvious that Peony Events is a well respected company in this area and we could not be happier with the way the big day turned out.

    The day of the wedding, there were a LOT of details that needed to be taken care of, and Stacey had everything covered. My husband and I were able to truly enjoy the day and experience the event.

    We had an idea of what we wanted the decor / atmosphere to look like, but Stacey's creativity and knowledge really took it to the next level.

    Stacey (owner of peony) is by far one of the nicest most talented ppl I know....I knew exactly what I wanted for my wedding I just needed a little help executing some of my ideas. And boy was she a 24 help line! From ideas to suggestions to recommendations on vendors this girl could write a book on wedding planning. Her services were amazing, and attention to every little detail were impeccable. We consulted for my wedding for over an hour maybe more but I left with total clarity as well as a precise game plan. Every email, text, and phone call was answered in a quick time frame. my vintage fairytale came true thanks to her and peony eventsI recommend peony events to any bride who needs someone to get things done, a partner in crime, and an amazing wedding planner!

    My wife and I hired Stacey for our wedding, and I was so happy that she relieved of us a lot of stress in the last few weeks before the wedding. We first met her when she came with us to the venue to pick out our cocktails, and it was fun to hang out with her and also get her perspective on weddings. She has so many good ideas and is easy to talk to and to be around. She also had really smart and thoughtful answers to any question we came up with. She made phone calls to the vendors, and handled all our last minute details and questions with energy and grace and style! On the day of the wedding, I really don’t know what we would have done without Stacey and the Peony crew there that day. While we were getting ready at the hotel, Stacey was at the church making sure everything was set. Then, after the ceremony, we were on the boardwalk taking pictures, and Stacey was at the venue, making sure everything was the way we wanted it – even better actually! We had the best wedding, and I really thought Stacey and Peony made it possible. Thank you, Peony. We were so happy with the service.

    My husband and I got married over a month ago, and we still tell everyone that hiring Peony Events was the BEST decision that we made! We hired Stacey for our day-of-coordinator but honestly I wish we would have had her help in planning our whole wedding! From the minute that we met with her she put our minds at ease and we left our first meeting with her knowing fully that she was going to help us with our wedding day! (We also knew instantly that she was someone who we could see ourselves being friends with, because she has the absolute most welcoming personality!) Stacey and Leslie were so terrific the day of the wedding. I had absolutely nothing to worry about on my wedding day they even made the cold and rainy weather that we had on our Memorial Day weekend wedding seem like it was a blessing! Together they kept all of our vendors in line and every single one of guests noticed how perfect our wedding was!     I hired Stacey to be my day of coordinator and she was FABULOUS. She exceeded my expectations by beginning to get organized and brought up to speed on all of my vendors, etc. nearly two months in advance, which put my mind at ease. During the wedding, she was calm, didn't act flustered if there were any unexpected issues, checked in with me and my husband periodically to make sure we were ok, and most importantly kept everything on schedule. I would definitely recommend her and the Peony Events team.

    When someone carries out every single detail that you dreamed of for your wedding to absolute perfection, it's hard to know where to start when reviewing them! Heather and Katherine of Peony Events are two absolute gems- they are the perfect combination of creativity, practicality, passion, and professionalism. They immediately make you feel like they are two old friends who know your style and have your back- and they really do! i They are very artistic, and their vision is endless. Ask, and you shall receive from these ladies. If there is a detail you want but you can't find a place to purchase it (or any option that is at all affordable), they will just make it for you! I thought that wedding planners like Peony Events only existed in movies, or for the ridiculously rich!
    Flowers were incredibly important to me. My grandmother had recently passed away was an avid gardner, and I wanted beautiful blooms as a way of having her there in spirit. Heather handles the flowers (yes, they do that "in-house" too, along with pretty much everything else except the food!), and she WENT TO TOWN! Not a single arrangement was the same, and the reception site was overflowing with the most beautiful and lush blossoms, all in unique vases that she had hand selected from a vintage rental company. I have never in my life seen anything like it!
    Also, just 3 months before the wedding, my original venue was no longer available.I was absolutely positive that all of the good venues would be taken at such a late date. Heather and Katherine saved the day- they kept me so calm, and within 24 hours they had found us the most romantic location that was an absolutely PERFECT fit. It was far better than the original venue- a gorgeous old mansion with fantastic vintage details and huge oak trees on the lawn, which Katherine draped with beautiful simple fabric to create our ceremony space.
    Don't miss out on these ladies! They are true talents, with amazing vision, and super sweet too!

    We hired Peony for our wedding, & we can’t say enough amazing things about this company! Stacey was so awesome to work with: warm personality, encouraging and supportive, full of ideas, but also truly listened to our ideas and helped us implement them. Stacey went above and beyond, taking the time to help us realize the exact kind of wedding we wanted, from meeting us in person to discuss our vision, to meeting us at our venue to see the space and choose our signature cocktails, to many email exchanges and supportive phone calls. Also, Peony exemplifies professionalism and organization. I just felt I had someone on my team who had every piece of information down pat. Above all, Stacey and her team executed the day perfectly. When I arrived at the church, Stacey and her intern were there, taking all the pressure off our families. When we arrived at our venue, the Watermark in Asbury Park, it looked so amazing, down to the last detail. Stacey knows how to use space and make an event look spectacular and feel chic and welcoming at the same time. Also, there were little surprises too – touches that Stacey added herself that were beyond beautiful and perfectly chosen. The Watermark is a unique wedding venue, too, and Peony founds ways to maximize its charm and awesome layout. The deck, bar area, dance floor area, and lounge areas were all beautiful, and Stacey made sure the space was utilized cleverly, so that everyone had plenty of room to dance, socialize, relax, eat and drink. Stacey and her team made our wedding the wonderful day that it was. I don’t know how we would have done it without them. She took care of every last detail so that my fiancé and I could relax, have fun, and just enjoy our fabulous wedding day!     Stacy from Peony Events was fantastic. I seriously dont know how we could of done our sons wedding without her. She was professional, knew exactly how to put and run an event. No stumbles or glitches. Not a one.. She kept our budget in check and was more than creative. She was very easy to deal with and a real pleasure.. Not intimidating very kind and thoughtful.     Heather and Katherine are awesome. I thought I could do it on my own, but I couldn’t. Being a young professional I thought I could work miracles, but luckily I came to the realization 3 months before our wedding that I needed someone else to work them for me. And these ladies did just that. We hired them for their “month of” services, but they met with us twice and emailed us on several occasions before the month of to start planning. They literally catered to our every desire (including bringing us breakfast, coffee and snacks on our wedding morning and carrying around my makeup all day!) and were so much fun and so easy to work with. Not only did they give us great suggestions when we were stuck on what to do, but they also made sure that all the final details were worked out to our liking before the big day. Anytime a difficult situation arose, they stepped up to the plate and took care of it for us. They even helped us smooth out some sticky family situations that made our wedding even more beautiful than I could have ever dreamed it would be. And the icing on the cake? Wonderful price for an impeccable 3 months worth of service! Thanks in large part to Heather and Katherine, our wedding day was completely stress and worry free, and was the most amazing day of my life. I seriously don’t know what I would have done without them. Thanks for everything ladies!!!

    Peony Events (Stacey), was a worry-free experience. Stacey went over and above to ensure that everything was taken care of behind-the-scenes and many times... Without me even knowing! She confirmed all details such as contacting DJ, Acoustic Guitarist, Reverend, Florist, Venue (Bernard's Inn - Bonnie who was also amazing!), etc. She was a calm soothing voice through it all and a great advisor!     Hire Maria at Peony for a Stress-Free Wedding!

    Maria at Peony Events was amazing! My now-husband and I had been searching for a weekend-of coordinator to make sure everything at our outdoor tent wedding ran smoothly. Maria came on two weeks before with a ton of energy, confirmed with all of our vendors, had a great communication plan, and made us feel confident on our wedding day so we could really enjoy everything.     I am an older bride, and we had a very specific "Vision" for our wedding - Bourbon, BBQ and the Blues...we hired Stacey and Peony Events to assist w/ translating that vision into reality, and they came through with excellence! Stacey is lovely to work with - pleasant, efficient, helpful, and knowledgeable. Her vendor contacts are excellent, and we enjoyed working with all of them. Her suggestions are extraordinary and made our event perfect down to the last detail. She knows her business well, so listen to her suggestions!!     Our Wedding would have been a literal complete disaster without Stacey and her team. Our wedding was in my parents backyard in a rural part of NJ, so vendor logistics were difficult enough to coordinate leading up to the day. Stacey traveled out to my parent's house multiple times for various meetings with florists, band, caterer, etc. It was really helpful for us to have her there prior to the wedding day as she was the one coordinating with them the day of as well. For us, Stacey's true talents surfaced on the day of our wedding. After we had planned the perfect wedding, that all went out the window when it unexpectedly rained steadily beginning a few hours before the ceremony. We had to coordinate a ceremony tent and set up the day of the wedding. Stacey was instrumental in making sure that even though a tented ceremony was not our vision, it was still beautiful and went off without a hitch. That unfortunately was only the beginning for Stacey and her team as the rain continued on throughout the night. While we had a large and beautiful reception tent, eventually the rain runoff led to wet grass under the tent that, of course, turned into mud as well (!!). The Peony ladies were there all night literally wiping off the dance floor to ensure no one slipped, putting rugs and cardboard and whatever else they could find on the ground to make it a little more bearable for everyone. THEN towards the end of the night when all of the vendors and guests began leaving, there were multiple cars that were stuck in the mud. Stacey had to call AAA to attempt to tow people out, etc. I should mention that she did not mention any of this headache/nightmare to me or my parents, as she wanted us to enjoy our night. Stacey, Leslie, Stephanie, and Melody all stayed WAY past the time they were contracted to stay (midnight, at least) to ensure everything was OK. They were an actual lifesaver.     The biggest regret of my wedding

    Hiring Stacey (Peony Events) is the biggest regret of my wedding. She didn’t even show up- she sent her other planners in her place, who had clearly not been informed of some major details of the event. At no point did she tell us she did not intend to work at our wedding, despite being the only planner we met with prior to our rehearsal.
    I was asked question after question throughout the night, even though I had provided these answers prior to the day numerous times, causing the night to be less enjoyable.
    She made the entire planning process more stressful than necessary by being extremely difficult to get in contact with, frequently with the excuse of having other events to handle/ people to deal with, leaving us feeling like everyone else was more important than us. This held true when she didn’t show up to our wedding or rehearsal. We even made a point to only contact her on Mondays through Thursdays, even though she reassured us we could email her on weekends and she would get back to us when she returned to the office (she didn't). Per our contract, unlimited communications were able to start 12 weeks prior to the wedding. She never reached out to us when that started, even though she was sent all of our vendor contracts and information prior to the start date, as she requests in her package writeup.
    My vendors struggled to get in contact with her as well and I received numerous complaints from them saying that she wasn’t responsive at all.
    I had instructed Stacey that I had arranged with the florist to preserve my bouquet and this should stay at the venue for the florist to pick up. Instead of doing that, I was handed the bouquet at the end of the night. I was so distracted, I didn’t realize this was wrong until 15 minutes later, when I had to email my florist asking what to do (after 11pm). When Stacey was informed that they made a mistake, she blamed the bride, stating “the bride was not very coherent and no one in her bridal party knew that was the plan”- a blatant lie, as no one asked the bride, groom, or any member of the bridal party during the night or at the end, nor was the bride intoxicated at any point.
    Our Deacon complained to us about Meghan after the wedding as well, which we were surprised by, given how experienced he is with wedding ceremonies. He informed us that Meghan left our marriage licenses on a pew in the church without telling anyone, along with an box of other personal items, which our Deacon had handed to her to give to us at the end of the night. We only found this out after reaching out to the deacon. No one at Peony Events informed us this had been left behind.
    Fair warning- don’t use Peony Events if you plan to have alcohol at your wedding, as they need their hands held throughout the whole night and will blame you for not being more attentive to them. She was unprofessional and distasteful in her excuses and actions.
    Don’t waste your time and money on hiring this company. It will only bring you unnecessary stress, while wasting your time and money.
    If I had known she would be so terrible, I wouldn’t have hired any planner at all.

    Very Unfortunate Experience

    PLEASE READ RESPONSE TO STACEY (OWNER) BELOW:

    *** Since Stacey and I couldn't come to an amicable financial solution... I presented the option to Stacey to donate my deposit to a local charity, CASA of Morristown... where I am a volunteer and she ignored this suggestion.

    My wedding was set to take place on April 18 2020 and given the COVID-19 circumstances… of course it did not happen. I had contracted Stacy for “Month Plus” coordinating which predominately comes down to her creating a timeline in advance of the event, coordinating vendors on the day of, and coordinating the wedding party on the day of.

    When the governor of NJ imposed the stay at home order our April 18 wedding could no longer happen. I contacted vendors and let them know what was going on and I attempted to coordinate a new date with them. All in all due to the uncertainty of what the future had in store as far as COVID we didn’t end up landing on a final date.

    I had reached out to Stacy and her team to let them know that of course April 18 wouldn’t happen and I would be in touch. At this point Stacy had not even begun the services that I contracted her for. When news broke that Gov Murphy was going to reopen churches in June my husband and I decided to get married and have a small dinner with family and friends. Once we had our small gathering we realized that we have no intention of having a large party anytime in the next few years since the stress of this situation was something we did not want to live through anytime soon.

    I reached out to Stacy letting her know that we had no future plans and requested the return of our deposit but the terms of her contract “don’t” allow for it. What I find wrong with her contract is that her “non refundable” deposit makes sense when she actually performed her contracted services but the event did not happen. In my case Stacy spent no time working on our event other than our initial consultation to become a client and the phone call that I had with her to touch base when our April 18 wedding couldn’t happen. When requesting our deposit back I even offered to pay Stacy her “consulting fee” for the 2 hours that we spoke (described above).

    Stacy did offer her services for a future event but truthfully any person who thinks it is right to keep a clients money when they have not performed any services is not someone I would like to work with in the future. She came highly recommended and my experience with her is very unfortunate.

    To highlight she legally couldn’t do her job on the day that she was supposed to work our event, her contracted services did not yet begin based on her parameters in her contract, and she has refused to refund us our “non-refundable” deposit minus the (2) hours she worked with me.

    I can’t seem to understand how a vendor can be so short sighted but here we are. What I do understand though is the struggle these small businesses went through as my mom owns 5 salons in New Jersey that were all shut down for months. She has 60 employees and 5 children and she refunded every bride and bridal party deposit because it was the right thing to do even when her contract also stated “non-refundable.”

    STACEYS RESPONSE WITH MY COMMENTS BELOW:

    Sadly, we agree with Jianna that this is absolutely a very unfortunate experience. Additionally, it has been a difficult road for all of our couples and clients who we have been working with throughout this entire time of covid with such uncertain times.

    One thing to clear up, our Month Plus package is much more extensive than what is stated in this review (we will post a more detailed response to this review on our blog which will also detail the package she was contracted for, please visit: www.peonyevenetsco.com). In fact, we had already begun Jianna’s package three weeks prior to Governor Murphy’s stay at home order on March 9, 2020.

    ** SHE DID NOT BEGIN MY CONTRACT ON MARCH 9

    My employee Abby and myself had already begun working with her vendors and building their day of timeline. Her package officially started on February 17th, 8 weeks prior to her original wedding date. Although we had several emails with Jianna throughout the months prior asking for our advice on things like table sizing, to look over her invitation suite, etc.

    ** NO ONE CONTACTED ME ON FEB 17 I RECEIVED AN EMAIL WITH A QUESTIONNAIRE FEB 24 and heard from no one on the Peony Events team until I emailed them on March 16th ( 1 month prior to my wedding) letting them know we would be postponing our wedding and asked for a phone call. Abby, Stacey's assistant, responded and got on the phone with me... from there I stated that I had contacted all of the vendors already to coordinate the new dates... the two that I couldn't get on the phone Abby then called and left a message.

    When I got into contact with those two vendors they actually offered to refund our deposit in full without me even asking.

    *** Also I sent (2) one sentence questions about my invitation suite answered in one sentence from Stacey each time and (1) one sentence question about table sizes answered again in (1) sentence by Stacey

    On February 24th, we had emails to Jianna asking her to fill out our wedding planner guide so we could complete the day of timeline with more details, etc.

    **** This is an automated email... with no verbiage from them just their planning platform. I had yet to receive a call from the Peony Events team in regards to my wedding

    On March 9th, we’re so happy Jianna was able to enjoy her beautiful bridal shower at Trump Golf Club in Bedminster as many of our brides weren’t able to attend all of their planned wedding festivities and since it was the day of the governor's stay at home order.

    ****Gov Murphys stay at home order began March 21... I'm not sure why she mentions my shower because this is an event that she had absolutely nothing to do with

    On March 16th, Jianna emailed us saying she was postponing her April wedding day to December 31, 2020 and asked if we could hop on a call, which we did. We discussed her new date and happily offered to reach out to her vendors (something we were not contracted to do). Abby helped her reach out and call vendors and sent Jianna a very detailed email stating confirming who was calling which vendor and the updates of when new contracts were sent or which ones we were awaiting with the new date, etc.. Abby even offered for Jianna to email us her entire wedding guest list and we would call all of her guests to inform them of the new date (also something we weren't contracted to do). We wanted to do whatever we could to help our bride-to-be with such a stressful situation as our hearts were breaking not only for her but our countless other brides who were in the same situation.

    *** I handled everything stated above... what exactly were they contracted to do at this time because apparently as Stacey made clear above she wasn't contracted to do anything?

    Later that day, Jianna sent us another email stating they might consider September 6, 2020 that way her guests would have that Monday off and she would keep us posted. We then reserved a second and third date for her, since her original date could no longer happen. We were carrying over 100% of her deposit to either of those dates, which is not what our contract states, it states we carry over 25%.

    **** I didn't ask Stacey to hold any dates for us I was throwing out dates left and right to 11+ vendors and all of my family members to figure out what would work for everyone

    On May 6th, 2020 we received an email from Jianna stating that they might postpone their September date and might consider cancelling the wedding. She asked if they could reassign their contract to another “very lucky couple” as she stated in her email. We arranged a time to speak on the phone and talked through it, I explained that we would be open to that, but that we could also help her with a micro wedding that some people were doing and waiting to do their large wedding at a later date. She appreciated that and we confirmed that we would stay in touch. Our call ended on a happy note.

    *** Stacey said she would charge us $500 to assign our contract to another couple

    **** We planned our micro wedding in 4 days because our license was expiring and the churches were opened by Gov Murphy and outdoor dining was allowed after 3 months of being closed. We had made arrangements for dinner with our closest family members outdoors... if it rained we would have not gone to dinner so we didn't feel it was necessary to involve another party (non-family member during a global pandemic to this situation)

    On June 22nd, we received an email from Jianna,

    “Hi Stacey!!

    I hope you are doing great!! (With 2 hug emogi’s) On Tuesday of this week Ant and I decided to get married over the weekend. It all worked out and ended up being great (thanks to weather). We are looking forward to having a big old party with our friends and family once we are covid free (with another hug emoji).

    I responded that same day congratulating her and saying we would post pictures. We asked if she was still slated for September since we still had the date on reserve or was it postponed tbd? Jianna responded that she would send the pictures and would most likely have something (outdoors or indoors) in 2021 depending on covid.

    **** I was a very happy new bride to be. I also never sent any pictures but she somehow got her hands on them and posted to her instagram (again as if she had something to do with this day). They have since been deleted

    July 1, 2020 is the first time Jianna emailed and asked to discuss getting her deposit back, which was 9 days after her micro wedding took place at a church and a venue.

    *** After our micro wedding we realized that was all we needed for right now. We were content and happy for the first time in months. Again we were not interested in having any other non-family members involved in this day. We didn't have a bridal party and had a 20 minute ceremony to make sure we were not inside for an extended period of time.

    We told Jianna we could continue to carry over 100% of her non-refundable deposit (which is to secure a date, in this case, three dates), she didn’t even have to select a date now it could be TBD or as the contract clearly states, we would refund her 25%. We also asked if she opted for the refund where could we send the check. We didn’t hear from Jianna for two months until after she left this misleading review, which we disputed. Her email stated that she saw we disputed her review and that she was in touch with weddingwire and the knot to ensure that her review wouldn’t be taken down and that this review would be seen, front and center. She also stated that she wanted to inform us that she sued her wedding band and was giving us a heads up before she takes their next steps in pursuit of getting their deposit back from us. We also found out that she asked for $7k back from her original florist she was contracted with for her april and september wedding date, but used another florist for her micro wedding. :(

    **** We sued our wedding band after offering to split our deposit 50/50 they said no and they also committed fraud. We won our lawsuit and they will be refunding our money in full

    **** Our florist kept the $1,000 non-refundable portion of my deposit and returned the EXTRA payment I gave them of $7,000 which I was deeply grateful for and I DID use them on the day of my mini-wedding alongside with another vendor that had $3000 of my money. My original florist did our personals and the other company that we originally booked for vintage furniture rentals provided the table centerpieces (which again if it rained would have just been donated to a local hospital at that point because we would have gone home after the church. I needed to use all of the credits I could at this point versus spending more money out of pocket)

    We continue to work with all our amazing couples and their families to work through this difficult time and we truly wish the best for you Jianna and your husband Anthony, we’re so happy you were able to have your wedding during such a difficult time.     ******* If Stacey had handled this situation in a professional manner and refunded our deposit or came to a reasonable settlement of us paying her consulting fee for the (2) hours she met with us we would have been HAPPY to hire her for a future event. Whether that be a 5 year anniversary or a 3 year. Obviously no one knows the future as far as this pandemic and hosting an event right now... the same kind of event we hired Stacey for is just not possible.

    Let me first start by saying that it is not my intention to personally attack anyone at Peony Events. This review is simply my attempt to save future brides from the absolute chaos and stress that these ladies brought to my wedding day. If you needed a license to be a wedding planner, I would have aggressively made sure that both Heather and Katherine of Peony Events were stripped of theirs. Unfortunately, it seems that anyone can scam their way into the wedding industry. Please see the details of my experience, below.

    They will tell you that they are "wedding coordinators", but do not be fooled. They are wedding stylists. The really icky wedding logistics that you think you are paying them to take care of will be left unchecked, and you will have each vendor contacting you post-wedding, wondering why they haven't received payment for rendered services. The day of my wedding, in my wedding dress, in front of my wedding party and all my guests, I was in a frantic, miserable state, because of Peony. They were nowhere to be found when I needed them. They didn't tell my father that our dance was coming up and I was left stranded on the dance floor. Same with the bouquet toss. Katherine told me it was time for the toss, but my bouquet was nowhere to be found. I had to walk all the way across the reception to Katherine, who wasn't paying attention. Heather was pouty all night, and seemed irritated when I asked her about the timing of the cake cutting. Every "moment" of the wedding, was totally mishandled, and on multiple occasions, I was left by myself on the dance floor, waiting for Peony to figure out what was going on, 140 guests staring at me in confusion.
    They are unorganized, and when faced with stress, they buckle and then give you dirty looks all night. Very unprofessional. If you want an anal, type A, super organized planner, THEY ARE THE OPPOSITE.

    They ruined a day that I killed myself to plan, and both should be ashamed.
