We had the honor of being the first wedding at Penobscot Bay Weddings and Events. Emerald went above and beyond to help us bring all the dreams we had for our big day to life! Emerald is kind, enthusiastic, and motivated, when I say she was made for this, it is not an exaggeration. The love and passion she has for the venue and her vision will spill over into your event in the best way possible. The house and grounds are naturally beautiful, the Penobscot river the perfect backdrop, keep your fingers crossed for one of their famous sunsets! If you are looking for a unique and customizable space to host your next event, look no further! -

When I found Penobscot Bay Estate in my endless spiral of Google searches, I knew it was exactly where I wanted to get married. We locked in immediately after our virtual tour. It captured our hearts as a peaceful, coastal, tented venue with stunning waterfront views and authentic Maine charm. Having full-weekend access to utilize the property made it feel like the ultimate getaway. I was asked several times by guests why we were making them travel so far, but the second they set foot onto the estate, they understood. There is a deeply personal, meaningful charm built into all the little details across the property. The onsite Speakeasy is absolutely incredible and served as the perfect backdrop for our welcome party the night before the wedding. Emerald, the owner, is so friendly, personable, and hands-on. You can truly tell she has poured herself and her family story into this magnificent venue. A special shoutout to their staff member, Dean, who worked his way into all of our hearts! He went above and beyond making sure everyone was comfortable and happy, even riding my nephews around on the golf cart. We will always have the fondest memories of our time at Penobscot Bay Estate, and our only sadness is that the weekend had to end!

Better than I could have ever imagined!
I recently had the pleasure of having my wedding at Penobscott Bay Estate, and I can honestly say it was the most magical experience! From the moment we arrived, the beautiful scenery took our breath away. The views of the bay provided the perfect backdrop for our ceremony, making every photo look like a dream.
The overnight cabins were an amazing addition to our experience. Each cabin was beautifully appointed and offered a cozy, charm that made our stay feel truly special. It was wonderful to have our closest people together, creating an intimate atmosphere that we will cherish forever.
What truly set Penobscott Bay Estates apart were the amazing owners. Emerald went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of our day was perfect. From helping coordinate the setup to offering advice and support throughout the planning process, her warmth, energy and dedication made all the difference.
If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with exceptional service, I highly recommend Penobscott Bay Estate. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to start our journey together! Thank you for making our wedding unforgettable! -

We had the pleasure of working with Emerald when we booked Penobscot Bay Estate as our wedding venue. We were drawn by the beautiful waterfront views and the relaxed atmosphere of the venue. My husband and I are so grateful for this decision.
When thunderstorms threatened to disrupt our special day, Emerald was on top of everything, checking on the weather forecasts and working with us to organize a seamless backup plan. Her top priority was the safety of our guests, and she ensured that every detail was taken care of.
Luckily, the weather turned in our favor for our ceremony. We're so grateful for Emerald's patience, attention to detail, flexibility, kindness, and open communication throughout the entire process. She truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day unforgettable.

Breathtaking & Perfect
SPACIOUS BRIDAL SUITE, GORGEOUS CEREMONY, SUNNY COCKTAIL, SWEET OUTDOOR RECEPTION, BREATHTAKING VIEW, PERFECT HONEYMOON SUITE.
PBE made my dream wedding come true. I am from NYC and my husband is from Maine - we had a wacky mix of people from the neighborhood and people from away and PBE found a way to accommodate everyone and our every last wish. They were so considerate and careful with our children and our adults with accessibility needs.
They are organized, friendly, and openly communicate. They even provide checklists so that you can't miss a thing! If it is possible for Emerald and her team to make your dream happen, it will. I felt so loved and I was treated like a princess the whole day.
Emerald and the PBE team made the most important day of my life absolutely perfect. I 100% recommend this venue. Beyond breathtaking, amazing accommodations, and kindhearted staff...couldn't want anything more. On top of ALL of that, it is incredibly affordable for all that you get. I am so grateful that I chose PBE for my waterfront Maine wedding, look how GORGEOUS! -

My son and daughter-in-law got married at the Penobscot Bay Weddings & Events venue in September! The gorgeous views all around made it so special! The accommodations, the owners, the ease of getting there and the set-up they have are all wonderful! We are so glad we got to experience this venue! This is the place to get hitched! You can’t go wrong in Winterport, Maine!! -

I cannot say enough great things about Penobscot Bay Weddings and Events! I hosted my mother's 70th birthday party at their venue and everything was picture perfect. The owner/host was incredibly helpful with all of the details of the day and the party tent was perfectly equipped for dining and dancing and even has a great bar setup against the backdrop of the gorgeous Penobscot River. All of our guests were astounded at the surroundings - field of wildflowers, a beautiful Maine farmhouse, and, of course, the waterfront with its amazingly blue water and boats passing by. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a true Maine wedding or event! -

I attended a wedding here and had a wonderful time. It was easy to find, convenient parking right on site, the ceremony was on the water and felt very private, and the reception was so much fun!
The house was available for the bridal party. The view of the Penobscot River is amazing. Your photos will not disappoint. I highly recommend Penobscot Bay Weddings to anyone looking for an unforgettable event. -

Emerald Sent on 02/26/2022Truly a dream wedding... the balcony was the best
The property is truly breathtaking, but just as importantly, the facility was perfect for the day to run smoothly.
Things felt secluded, but it's right on the edge of town, easy to get to, and so close to all major vendors in the Bangor region. Cars can drive everywhere on the property they need to go, making it easy to transport handicap guests and also do all vendor setup and tear down. With water, electricity, cell service in all the spots we needed it... it really is the oasis the pictures depict with the backbone of what a functioning venue needs to be.
One last thing, and perhaps the biggest thing... as a bride, having the balcony overlooking the property available to me as I got ready on the big day was truly magical. I was able to see my loved ones arrive and feel completely showered with love and natural beauty. Everyone who mattered to me was arriving to show their love and support and I had an eagle eye view of the day unfolding... I can't describe how powerful that was. -
