Caitlin and the whole team at Pelican were AMAZING!!! They provided incredible service and a great value! Caitlin was always happy to answer questions and help us nail down logistics.
The day of our wedding was a huge storm and we were worried it might throw things way off course. They were great though and worked with us on last minute changes to make sure everything happened just how we wanted it to!
The staff were all unbelievably incredible as well. I heard comments from just about every guest about how nice the service crew was and how much it felt like they were enjoying the night just as much as the guests!
I can't recommend them enough. They really made our whole wedding unforgettable.Pelican Brewing Company's reply:

We got married back in September 2025 and had the best experience possible! The venue was absolutely perfect! We worked with Caitlin and I cannot praise her enough! She was on top of everything! She was kind, patient, and answered ALL my questions - trust me, I had a lot! The timeline she created put my mind at ease and truly, she put me at ease from day 1. The day of, everyone was so attentive from decorating/setting up to serving and clean up. The food was amazing and the beer was cold! What more could we ask for?! Without a doubt, I would choose the Pelican again! -

My wife and I had our special day on 09/28/2025 and we cannot stop talking about how amazing it was! Caitlin handled my constant emails for months prior to the wedding, and Lauren took care of us the day of. They were both absolutely incredible. I couldnt wait to give them a glowing review! Lauren handled everything perfectly and made the day completely stress-free which was so needed after planning the wedding for a year. She was also incredibly kind, and I really appreciated her genuine care for us both. If you are a part of the LGBTQ community and are looking for an affirming venue, I especially recommend Pelican Brewing in Pacific City. You will not regret it! ❤️❤️ -

We had the best experience having our wedding at Pelican Brewing. You cannot beat the stunning ocean front location and classic brewery vibe that the venue offers. Our wedding was exactly how we wanted it: intimate, elegant, simple, and fun. The event team at Pelican was extremely professional and helpful during the planning process as well as throughout the day of. High quality food and service. Amazing value for everything you get. 10/10 recommend. -

Pelican Dream
We got married in July and it was magical. The staff was a dream to work with. They were amazing during our wedding and we could not recommend the Pelican more. We truly got to enjoy our day without having to worry about anything. -

Caitlin and her team are outstanding at what they do. I am an event planner by profession and by default very picky about my details and typically have a lot of questions. Caitlin was available with answers whenever I needed them and brought an overall sense of calm to the planning process. We live in Pacific City and so we are very familiar with the area and this venue. We brought many guests out from the East Coast and between the Inn, Harts Camp and Headlands they all got a wonderful OR coast experience. Our wedding was around 65 people, we brought in our own wine and served Pelican beer and cocktails. We opted to serve desserts from their menu instead of a cake and did away with some of the other typical traditions as well and the full team made it all work seamlessly.Pelican Brewing Company's reply:

Wedding of my dreams!
The Pelican Brewing Pacific City location was my dream come true for a wedding venue, it was the perfect size for my intimate destination wedding, it was right on the beach with beautiful views. The ceremony was held in the sand and the reception was inside their event room. My biggest thing was I DID NOT want a ballroom look or feel, this event space was cozy and moody and everything I could ask for. The event manager, Caitlin Fagan is an absolute angel. I emailed her back and forth for a year straight and she never made me feel out of place or like any question was less important than the next. Whenever there was a bump In the road, she was always there with a solution. (My rehearsal dinner venue fell through and she quickly sprang Into action, allowing us to utilize space at the Lincoln City location). This was a destination wedding for me, so it was that much harder being states away, but everything was a dream come true, I would not have had it any other way.Pelican Brewing Company's reply:

Highly recommend choosing this venue
Choosing Pelican Brewing for our wedding venue was the best decision we made! They were responsive, attentive to our needs, and pleasant to work with. Specifically Caitlin Fagan, she made our wedding dreams come true! Especially thankful our puppy got to join in on the wedding festivities. Highly recommend. -

Beautiful Halloween wedding on the beach
Pacific City has always had a special place in my husband and I’s hearts. Our love of beer, delicious food and the beach made choosing Pelican Brewery for our wedding venue a no brainer. We wanted a sunset ceremony on the beach and Caitlyn helped us set everything up so perfectly. She looked up the sunset time for that specific day and helped plan our whole ceremony and reception around it. Everything went so smoothly. The food and beer were absolutely delicious as always. But the staff were who really made everything so special for us. Every banquet server, bartender and every staff member that we interacted with were so professional, attentive and kind. We were sad for our special day to be over and to leave the beach but we are so excited to come back and celebrate anniversaries at Pelican🖤 -

Hands down - best experience!
Pelican was an amazing venue, absolutely gorgeous view of the ocean with a private beach for the ceremony. Caitlin was amazing and helped us every step of the way. I can’t thank everyone at pelican enough for their amazing help, fantastic staff, and great food!!

Amazing Venue & Wedding Coordinator
My husband and I could not have been more happy with Pelican Brewing as a wedding venue. This brewery is located right on the beach and is facing a gorgeous haystack. Their food, drink, staff and atmosphere were top notch for the intimate party we wanted for our wedding. Their wedding packages include a wedding coordinator and their service was EXCEPTIONAL! S/O to Mariah Surat and Caitlin Fagan for making our day seamless and special. 10/10 recommend Pelican Brewing for your special day! -

Pacific City stole my heart the first time I ever visited. My husband and I have been on dates at Pelican Brewing so what better place to be able to visit again year after year. We had a small ceremony and we could not have asked for a better location or view. The pictures we captured were priceless and dreamlike. Mariah, our coordinator was responsive, helpful and a joy to work with. Pelican Brewing holds a special place in our hearts and we would recommend their services to anyone looking for a beautiful, memorable experience. -

We fell in love with The Pelican during our venue tour with Mariah, the Venue Manager! Mariah is quick to respond to emails and Wedding Wire messages, has many years of event managing experience, and knows all of the local wedding vendors in Pacific City and beyond! The Pelican offers many great perks to their couples - their menu options are vast and include gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options - diverse wedding package options for peak and off-season times - and exclusive use of the event room on the day of our event, so you never have to worry about a morning event before your evening wedding! Mariah was not only super helpful during the planning process of my wedding, but served as a day-of-coordinator, managing all of my vendors and ensuring that all of our details came together for our big day! My husband and I agree that The Pelican was the perfect place for our Oregon Coast wedding and we would do it over again in a heartbeat! -

All the staff was absolutely amazing and they made sure i was taken care of all night. But Mariah, the event planner from the Pelican made my wedding perfect. We are from out of town and needed help with planning our big day. Mariah answered my million emails, sent pictures for ideas from past weddings, and helped with recommendations. I honestly don't know how I would have managed without her. All of guests were blown away with our wedding day, and how perfect it went. If you want a beautiful beach wedding, great food and beer, choose the Pelican!!

Katie Sent on 09/26/2017We loved working with Mariah Surat at the Pelican Brewery! I only had 11 weeks to plan the wedding and Mariah was beyond helpful and accommodating. She answered all of my emailed questions really quickly and met with me a handful of times. She seriously made the whole planning process super easy! Having a day-of coordinator be included with the venue rental was fantastic, and took so much stress off of my plate. Her list of recommended vendors was awesome. The wedding was literally perfect and we all had SO much fun! Wish I could do it all over again!

They set up and tore down our decorations. Mariah is great at communication with us all through out the wedding planning process. I highly recommend their in house baker for your cake!! -

Maggie Sent on 10/04/2015We had one of the best days we could have ever imagined thanks to Mariah and the Pelican Pub crew. The location alone is so exceptional. They have THE BEST view in Pacific City. It was a dreamy backdrop for our wedding. The Pub was so easy for our friends and family to find, there is plenty of parking, and then when you arrive, the staff is friendly and welcoming every single time. For the last month leading up to our wedding, Mariah worked with us to plan the day and all the little details in between. Not only did she listen to us and ask all the right questions, but she also gave us tons of great suggestions and helped us plan things we didn't think to. She was fun and playful and kicked butt in putting together the day we wanted. Everything felt seamless and fun to us, and I know that takes a lot of work from the staff to make a day like our happen. They were all wonderful! I highly recommend the Pelican Pub as a wedding venue. You will be taken care of and cared for from start to finish.
