  Peggy was wonderful to work with. Her cake tasting was professional and fun with nice touches. She has numerous books of her amazing cakes to look through. She morphed several cake features that we wanted into 1 beautiful and delicious cake. She was flexible and understanding with an unexpected date change. She delivered perfectly, and right on time. Definitely recommend!

  Peggy did an amazing job with our wedding cake. We have heard about how great of a job she does but was blown away when we actually saw the result. We requested a two layer naked wedding cake and although she said she has never done one before. It was everything that we wanted and the taste of course was out of this world!!!! It was her famous chocolate cake with buttercream frosting.

  Peggy makes THE BEST cakes anywhere around! I tried her chocolate/peanut butter cake at a work function a few years ago, and fell in love. So, when it came time to get married, I knew I needed to call her! She made our bride cake, which was white buttercream, pound cake, and a Grand Marnier filling that was AMAZING and, since the groom isn't fond of peanut butter, his grooms cake was chocolate on chocolate. I have been to weddings where the cake was beautiful but tasted gross, and some where the cake tasted great but was no attractive, but Peggy delivered on BOTH! Her decorating skills were great and the cakes tasted heavenly! Don't let her tiny little baking house in downtown Montgomery fool you...this lady is very professional and makes very tasty cakes! We found her prices to be very reasonable as well, for the quality you receive. We met with her, provided her with some pictures, and that was all she needed. She was very easy to work with. We highly recommend Peggy!

  Ms. Peggy is one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met! We just fell in love with her and her cakes at the cake tasting. She provided my wedding cake as well as the groom's cake. The wedding cake was strawberry and the groom's cake was chocolate/ peanut butter and they were absolutely to die for! She was very informative and delivered our cakes safely over 90 miles from her shop in Montgomery! I am already looking for an excuse to order another cake from her!

  As a cake decorator myself it was hard to find someone that met the taste and look I preferred for my daughter's wedding. We chose the pound cake with alternating strawberry and almond filling. It was delicious and very moist. Mrs. McKinney did a great job matching the picture we provided. I would definitely hire her again.

  Peggy's cakes taste amazing and are beautiful. The brides cake had her delicious almond and Grand Marnier filling and the grooms cake was her famous peanut butter fudge. She is super easy to work with and so sweet. I would recommend to anyone.

  Love, Love, Loved my wedding cake! It was a pumpkin and caramel (alternating) cake with a cream-cheese icing, perfect for a fall wedding! It was so awesome! Everyone loved it. Mrs. Peggy is the best baker in Montgomery!

  Beautiful cakes and sooo delicious!! I can't count the number of people who have commented that "this is the best wedding cake I have ever had!" So glad we chose to use Peggy. Such a sweet lady and she definitely knows how to bake!
