"I DO" think you should hire Peggy!
Our favorite thing about hiring Peggy was her professionalism while she answered all of our questions and "what if's". Peggy didn't hesitate to relay all of her knowledge and suggestions when it came to the ceremony and drafting our vows. She was kind, professional and met all our expectations. -

Better than we could've dreamed
We were incredibly happy with our ceremony. Peggy worked with us to personalize our ceremony to fit our fun personalities. She made sure to incorporate all of the people (and animals!) whom we cherish in our lives and advised us on all the little things we didn't think of. All of our guests came up to us afterward to compliment us on the ceremony that she helped craft. We couldn't have been more pleased with how it went.

Peggy truly has a way with words!
Peggy was an amazing officiant for our 11/9/19 wedding day at The Ritz Carlton Beach club and I’m so glad we found her! Peggy was able to beautifully communicate what we wanted in a ceremony and executed it perfectly. We got many compliments on our ceremony, which made people laugh and cry happy tears! Amazing to work with
My bride and I decided to get away from the struggles of having a traditional wedding in our home town. We decided on a beach wedding. We found Peggy and she was absolutely amazing to work with!! The ceremony was flawless and she was very engaged! She also did her research!! She pointed out how we met and even recited some of our song. 100% recommended! Couldn't ask for a better Officiant

I highly recommend Peggy to officiate your wedding ceremony! She was able to draw “our wedding story” out of us with a questionnaire we completed several months in advance of the wedding. Using the questionnaire, she created a unique and one of a kind wedding ceremony that was customized to my husband and me. My husband is a man of few words, and even with this challenge in mind, Peggy was able to create a beautiful wedding ceremony. She crafted a ceremony that was funny at moments and touching in others. It told the story of how we met and how our relationship evolved over time to our wedding day. She is a beautiful public speaker and has a wonderful talent for relaying the story of a couple to their guests. I loved this aspect of Peggy’s talent because it told our story to our wedding guests that were not familiar with how we met. The length of our ceremony was not too long and not too short and I felt all of our guests engaged in the moment. Peggy’s presence and talent for story-telling was perfect for our small and intimate wedding. She makes herself completely accessible and is professional, punctual, and has a peaceful presence. You will not be disappointed by choosing her to be a part of your wedding day. -

Peggy is absolutely amazing and we highly recommend her to anyone. She is easy to work with and really takes the time to get to know you and what you want in your ceremony. Our wedding ceremony was perfect – we laughed, we cried, and our guests were totally engaged. Where to start! Peggy is probably the best officiant out there. From the very beginning she took the time to get to know my husband and I to truly personalize and customize our ceremony to us. She has a decent size questionnaire that truly delves into your relationship, and at the time of the ceremony, every single person was laughing, crying and engaged into the ceremony. She has unique spins on a classic ceremony where people truly enjoyed listening and being there in the moment - which is the most special and most important thing there could be! I would recommend her in a second - and I wouldn't look any further. She genuinely loves what she does and it shines through. She takes the time to speak with you on the phone, send her ceremony to you in advanced to read - and just made it a beautiful day! Thank you Peggy for everything!! -

Peggy was AMAZING at our ceremony this past weekend in Sanibel, FL. Right from the very start I was confident that she would do a great job but I can't believe how many of our guests told us that it was the best ceremony they had ever witnessed. Peggy gave the ceremony a personal touch by utilizing quotes from our couple's questionnaires and she allowed us to edit and make any changes we saw fit prior to our wedding day. She was very communicative throughout the entire process, which is a huge deal for me and something that I definitely appreciated. I would 100% recommend Peggy to anyone looking to have an incredibly special and personalized ceremony for their big day. Thank you, Peggy, for making our ceremony so beautiful and special!! -

Peggy made our ceremony an event that all enjoyed. She has every detail planned out so that we were the center of attention and people wanted to hear more about our story. She went out of her way to learn Hebrew passages, gave great suggestions, and knew where she and our bridal party should stand so our families and friends were able to solely focus on us. We can't give her enough praise for making our day special. -

Peggy did an amazing job telling "our story" to our guests!! She really made everyone feel included in the ceremony and our guests even commented on that as well. She was great to work with from the very beginning and very flexible with times and days for our phone conferences leading up to the big day.. Peggy Lewis is an exceptional, warm human being, who crafted and officiated our wedding ceremony. During the process, she asked us all the right questions and worked with us to strike precisely the right notes for perhaps the most profound day in our lives. Peggy was absolutely wonderful to work with! We live in Kansas and had our wedding in the Florida Keys. We didn't have the opportunity to meet with Peggy prior to the big day, yet she performed a beautiful ceremony as if she had known us for years. Our guests loved her readings and that she quoted things we had shared with her. She kept the ceremony engaging and most importantly, spoke strait to our hearts. Peggy is worth every penny. Peggy created the perfect ambiance for our wedding. We love how personal the ceremony was even without us writing our own vows. Peggy somehow manages to bring out your personality from her questionnaire that she had us complete. She is so professional, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. She kept in touch with us the entire 4-5 months before the wedding- even when we slacked and forgot to get back to her about some details (sorry!) Let me start by saying that I couldn't be happier with Peggy. I've been to a few weddings and the ceremonies always seem pretty generic and boring to me. I feel like the officiants don't put much thought into it and it's always the same thing over and over again. Peggy was the complete opposite. She made sure our ceremony was unique and personal. She took the time to get to know us and to understand what we were looking for (and wanted to avoid), and created a ceremony that not only included the readings we wanted, but also incorporated personal details about my wife and me that allowed her to tell our story. She also sent us the ceremony prior to the wedding so we could review it and make sure we were happy with it.
Her delivery was also great. Everyone at our wedding really enjoyed Peggy's ceremony, but more importantly, my wife and I loved it. -

The moment we first met Peggy, she had such a warm, welcoming personality, we knew we wanted her to conduct our ceremony straight away.
It was easy to make payments via Paypal, and Peggy was so flexible with any information we wanted to use. She gave us a list of sample readings and vows we could use, or we could provide any that we wanted to use.
Any queries we had, Peggy was quick to respond to.
Peggy asked us to fill in a questionnaire individually about our relationship which she then referenced during the ceremony. Her lighthearted approach made everyone feel included. There was laughter and tears during the ceremony. Even our guests were hugging Peggy after the ceremony.
It is a ceremony we will definitely treasure forever. -

Peggy was our officiant for our wedding at The Seagate Beach Club in Delray Beach on 8/22/14. We only met Peggy 2 weeks prior to our ceremony and she took the time to meet with us and get to know us. We worked with Peggy to create a fun personalized ceremony that was unique to us. She did an amazing job capturing our personalities and delivering a ceremony that all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed. During our reception and after the wedding everyone was still talking about how it was "one of the best ceremonies" they'd experienced. Thanks again Peggy!!!! -

My husband and I had originally planned to have a friend officiate our wedding. However, as we got closer to the wedding, we decided this was a very big thing to ask someone to do. We started looking for an officiant, and luckily we found Peggy. I knew after our first conversation that she was going to really listen to us and get to know us so that she could create a very special ceremony for our wedding. And that she did! The ceremony she wrote for us was so personal and unique, it was everything we could have hoped for. Peggy met with us prior to the wedding to talk through what we were thinking of doing, and she had some really great suggestions that we wouldn’t have thought of. Her suggestions were part of what made our ceremony so special.
On the day of our wedding, Peggy did an amazing job officiating. She made everyone there feel like they were a part of the ceremony. She flawlessly performed the ceremony, but with so much love and emotion in her readings, our guests actually asked us if Peggy was related to us because she seemed to know us so well, and care so much. We received so many compliments on our ceremony, we were just thrilled with Peggy. You can’t go wrong with picking her to officiate your wedding!

Peggy was fantastic to work with from the very beginning. We wanted a non-religious ceremony for an intimate wedding. Peggy had a meeting with us and then followed up with some questionnaires to learn more about us and the type of ceremony we wanted. She then used this to write a beautiful and touching ceremony that exceeded our expectations. Peggy is a very intelligent lady and seemed to know exactly what we wanted. She also has a very calm demeanor and spoke beautifully during our ceremony. The whole process was stress free and easy. Probably one of the absolute best decisions we made was having Peggy do our ceremony. We booked her almost a year prior to our wedding date and she kept in touch with us throughout the entire year. She really got to know us as individuals and as a couple and it completely made an impact on our ceremony. I think the greatest comment I received throughout our entire wedding day was "Peggy told your story... completely told your story." And she did! She had people laughing, crying, and completely engaged and it was more than I could of ever hoped for. If you are on the fence, I can tell you that Peggy is a decision that you will not regret! My sister told me after the wedding that she knew without a doubt that when it was her turn... Peggy will marry her. And Peggy... if you read this... THANK YOU! You made our ceremony something that I will always cherish and remember as the best part of our wedding! -

Peggy created and delivered the perfect ceremony for us. My husband and I wanted a very personal ceremony, and when we found out Peggy would write a ceremony tailored to our wishes and allow us to view and edit it before the big day, we were thrilled. It was such an easy, stress-free process: we spoke with Peggy on the phone a few times; filled out individual questionnaires about our story, our relationship, and our wishes for the ceremony; Peggy emailed us a draft of our ceremony about 2 weeks before our wedding; and we were able to edit the draft, making it completely our own and representative of us as a couple. Multiple guests commented on the uniqueness of our ceremony and how much they loved hearing our story told. If you are looking for a personalized ceremony (and a stress-free process!), I could not recommend Peggy more. Thank you again, Peggy! -

We really appreciated the personal touch Peggy had with our ceremony; we had an unexpected death in the family just days before the ceremony that affected all of us; she gracefully and thoughtfully added to ceremony to honor the deceased. We really loved her telling us all in attendance to "breathe" and enjoy the moment! We definitely did! I wanted a non-religious sort of ceremony with some spiritual elements to it. I came up with my own script. I looked over many officiants in the Miami area and only one was willing to read over my script without trying to change it or ask for me to reserve her first, Peggy. She answered all of my questions in a timely manner. She's polite and smart and read so beautifully on my day. It was all that I dreamed it would be. If your ceremony is important to you and you want something personalized, Peggy is the best in the Miami area. -

I am so glad to have chosen Peggy Lewis to officiate my recent wedding! I planned my beach wedding myself, and I had no idea where to begin when it came to the ceremony. I feared that I would be Googling and cutting-and-pasting my ceremony together, and that the guests would definitely be able to tell. However, when my fiance and I met with Peggy, we were immediately put at ease by her professional and gentle manner and her willingness to create the perfect ceremony just for us. I understand that Peggy officiates all types of ceremonies, however, we did not want a religious one, and she had no problem with that. She really got to know us and took notes about our history, special stories, and personalities. Anything and everything about the ceremony could be customized, but she sent us a nice selection of sample readings, poems, and vows for us to choose from/mix-and-match/draw inspiration from if we wished. When I received the first draft of the ceremony, I was very impressed! Peggy included the perfect balance of introduction, readings, stories, etc., but I did want to make a few minor changes. She allowed me to edit the ceremony up until about the week before the wedding, and it turned out perfectly! Come wedding day, everything was amazing, and many guests commented on how much they enjoyed Peggy. Peggy was wonderful to work with from beginning to end, and she was a huge part of making my wedding day so special. I would highly recommend her to anyone! :)

Peggy was everything my husband and I could have asked for in an officiant. Her process for getting to know you is very nice for the couple as well because she asks you to talk about and re-examine some important moments in the course of your relationship. My then-fiance and I took an entire day to craft our responses and didn't let each other read them until after we submitted to Peggy. It was such a lovely way to look back on our relationship and, in the midst of wedding planning (which can get pretty crazy), to remind ourselves what the whole point of all the frenzy really is. :)
Our guests couldn't stop gushing about how personal and warm the ceremony was. And we couldn't be happier with our selection of Peggy. She sent us the ceremony ahead of time so we could make sure it was what we wanted, and allowed us to make some edits. We also wrote our own vows and sent them separately to her, as we wanted to keep them as a surprise for each other on that day. Peggy was kind enough to type up our vows for us and hand them to us at the appropriate time. I had been worried about how I was going to memorize them or how I was going to bring notecards down the aisle!
We would recommend Peggy a hundred times over to anybody looking for a celebrant for any life-cycle event. :) -

She is so personable. You instantly feel as if she is a friend. I was so stressed and she offered time aside from our ceremony planning to talk with me instead of at me. My guest were very impressed with way she presented "our story." My husband and I hired Peggy M. Lewis as our celebrant for our wedding on August 10, 2013 and she was the best choice for the position. We were a bit worried because we had someone officiating our wedding prior to contacting her and they sort of bailed out 3 months before our wedding after about 4-5 months of preparation. We weren't sure we'd find someone but were lucky enough to come across Peggy. She was accommodating and friendly from the beginning and made us feel very comfortable about the process. She was very patient and worked with us to make our ceremony the best it could be. It was beautiful and I'm still getting compliments from guests on it! I would highly recommend Peggy to anyone who's getting married, she's the most stress-free and guaranteed successful option. -

Peggy was extremely helpful in making our ceremony exactly what we wanted. She sent us multiple suggestions of readings and vows based on what she thought would be appropriate after having a conversation with us on the phone. Our wedding ceremony allowed for our guests to truly get to know my husband and I, and Peggy was able to connect with our audience during the ceremony as well. I felt as though Peggy took extra time to get to know my husband and I (which, for most, would have been difficult to do because this was a destination wedding). But that is how Peggy operates, she wants to make your ceremony perfect for you and will talk to you in depth about the details, email you suggestions, and provide reassurance on the big day! Peggy was the first officiant which I intervied, and the only one. After our first meeting my mother and I looked at each other and said "She's the one!". From the moment she began to explain her passion for writing, romance and what she does it was evident that she would bring that passion to my ceremony. Her couples questionnaire was thorough and I liked her use of our quotes in the ceremony. I also loved that she stood infront and to the side of us during the cereomony so we did not have our back turned to our guests, rather we could look at them and at each other- it really made the moment special- and made our guests feel involved. Since the wedding, various guests have called to comment on how "wonderful", "romantic" & "entertaining" the ceremony was. As for my husband and I, it was the perfect moment, hearing our story told as we look into each others eyes, looking at our hands and Peggy recited a blessing of the hands, repeating our vows... it was the perfect marriage, and one which thouroughly relfects who we are and who we are together. I felt I had a great connection with Peggy from the start. She had asked a bunch of questions and we filled out our "couples questionnaire" to help give her insight to our love story. After many phone calls back and forth, the day finally arrived and I felt Peggy would deliver the best ceremony possible - one small glitch, we were told she would be there way ahead of time and, as I was waiting for the ceremony to begin noticing the time was slipping away, I was told she was running late (I will blame Miami traffic for this, but word to the wise, US1 in Miami is ALWAYS chaotic ---- leave ample time to be somewhere). The ceremony was beautiful, but we did have a small issue with the name of a loved one that passed away being mixed up with another relative who was alive and well and in the audience HAH- granted in my initial questionnaire I wrote the wrong name, but I had sent quite a few follow up documents and such with the correct name that it should have been caught. Had I been able to see the ceremony before hand this would have been avoided (you can see the ceremony ahead, but that is included in a larger "package") - but I will take partial responsibility for that mishap. (it became a running joke the whole night, everyone asking my husbands uncle if he was "alive and feeling well" as his name was read for the memorial rather than my husbands grandfathers name, we made good fun out of it!! :-] ) Other than that, she delivered our ceremony beautifully and we were so happy to have her unite us in marriage. She included a few great poems throughout our ceremony and her public speaking skills are fantastic. Her presence in our wedding video is FANTASTIC and I cannot thank her enough, as we will have this for a LIFETIME!

Peggy was amazing. She listened to what we wanted for our ceremony and vows and gave us the exactly what we had hoped for. I planned my ceremony mostly out of town and she was very responsive to all of my communications. She took time to get to know us as a couple and that made the ceremony personal. She sought our feedback at every step of the planning process. She continued to work on the vows and the readings until we were 100% comfortable with the final plan. Her delivery at the wedding was perfect. She has a great personality and is very open and friendly. She was also very professional. I would recommend her to anyone. She was awesome. -

We were really happy with our personalized wedding ceremony, it was a lot more meaningful to have a personalized service which was about us and included readings which we had chosen. Peggy provided lots of readings and sample vows for us to choose from, which was really helpful, as we wouldn't have known where to begin. Peggy is a great orator, and could be heard by our guests even over the impending thunderstorm. We really enjoyed the ceremony, thanks Peggy! -

My husband and I had very particular ideas about what we wanted and didn't want for our wedding ceremony, so we put a great deal of time and effort into selecting our officiant. When we found Peggy Lewis, we knew we had found exactly what we were looking for. Peggy's reviews online were all stellar, and through our own experience with her, we came to find that every last one was completely accurate. The process of preparing for our wedding was collaborative and exciting. Peggy wanted to know about us—as individuals and as a couple—and she used all of the information she collected to craft a ceremony that was personal, heartfelt, and unforgettable. Every consultation we had with Peggy helped to calm our nerves and ensure us that everything was going to go smoothly. She was more than an officiant; she was a guide on our journey of preparing to wed. The title "celebrant" is apt, indeed, as what Peggy created for us was a celebration as well as a ceremony. She spoke beautifully at our wedding and left a lasting impression on everyone who attended. We are forever grateful for having met Peggy Lewis, and we will happily recommend her to anyone. -

Peggy is a very nice person and speaks very eloquently. I did pay extra to get two edits so that when she wrote the ceremony we could change it twice if there was something we didn't like. When she sent the first draft to us we just asked her to take out a whole page just because we didn't like how it sounded- it mentioned that my husband thought I was sexy and we just didn't think it appropriate to say during the ceremony. She took the request very kindly however I never got the revised ceremony to do our second edit we paid for. The day of the wedding she was running late because of traffic which we understood but my husband tried calling her several times and she didn't answer. When she got there the ceremony started right away and we were very surprised to find out she didn't make the change we had asked for and kept that whole page in there. My husband and I both cringed when the "sexy" part came out because his mom is pretty religious and conservative.
Peggy was a good speaker though and had we not paid extra for something we didn't get I think we would have definitely had a better opinion. -
