Pearl S. Bucks Estate
All I wanted was a big tent with the ability to have a ceremony outside. It was perfect. The grounds are amazing. There is so much character and charm that adds to the atmosphere. Venue cost is EXTREMELY minimal for what you are getting. 10/10. They are have a rain plan which we didn’t need but it was nice to know there was an option.
Catering: Jamie Hollander Catering food was 10/10, service was 15/10. Guests could not stop raving about the waitstaff and how on top of everything they were…so much so that my friends were asking to take photos with who helped them. Day of coordinator Rachel Bova was incredible, she is just so good at her job and so kind. -

If you’re looking for a wedding venue that blends historic charm, breathtaking gardens, and a team that will make your day feel truly magical, the Pearl S. Buck Estate is everything you could hope for and more. I had always dreamed of a garden party wedding where the natural beauty of the setting could shine on its own, and the estate delivered just that. I got married at the Pearl. S. Buck Estate on July 11, 2025, and it was truly the best day of my life.
From the very first tour to the pack up at the end of the night, Rachel Bova was an absolute dream to work with. She is incredibly organized, responsive, and attentive—always one step ahead with answers to every question throughout the planning process. On the wedding day itself, Rachel ensured every detail was perfect: the timeline ran seamlessly, our vision was executed just as we imagined, our guests felt cared for, and she kept me and my husband fully present and stress-free. Because of her, I was able to completely relax and live in the moment, something I had hoped for but didn’t know was truly possible.
The food was another highlight. From the signature cocktails and delicious hors d’oeuvres to beautifully plated entrees and desserts, everything exceeded expectations. Jamie Hollander’s catering team went above and beyond—not only was the food fantastic, but the servers were warm, attentive, and genuinely fun! Several of our guests even made a point to tell us afterward how wonderful the staff was.
The estate itself is nothing short of stunning. The gardens and grounds are immaculately maintained in every season, and each time I visited during the planning process, I was struck by its beauty—even on rainy days. On our wedding day, the lush flowers and greenery were on full display, and with endless picturesque spots around the property, we have the most gorgeous variety of photos to remember it by.
There is truly not a single negative thing I could say about this venue or team. Choosing Pearl S. Buck Estate was the best decision we made, and if you decide to celebrate your wedding here, I am confident you’ll experience the same magic we did.

My husband and I absolutely loved Pearl S. Buck for our wedding venue. We visited it in the fall for a summer wedding, and we fell in love. It is your perfect classy and elegant venue being all outdoors with such gorgeous grounds.
Leslie, Rachel and the Jamie Hollander team was absolutely amazing in their hospitality, support and guidance to us throughout the whole process. As we prepared for the day of the Jamie Hollander team made themselves exceptionally responsive and helpful with any questions we had. The day of our wedding day was absolutely perfect and everything went flawlessly. Our guests had nothing but nice things to say about the staff. I would recommend Pearl S. Buck to anyone looking for an outdoor, classy and gorgeous venue. -

We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue than the Pearl S. Buck Estate for our wedding! The setting was absolutely beautiful, with its historic charm and gorgeous grounds. The grounds were picture-perfect, and our guests were in awe of the venue’s elegance and ambiance. Rachel Bova was incredible and supported us every step of the way. She ensured that every detail was exactly as we envisioned. Her organization, attention to detail, and calm presence were invaluable, and she went above and beyond to ensure our day went smoothly. Can't say enough good things about our August wedding experience at Pearl Buck. We were initially drawn by the obvious beauty of the grounds and the estate itself but were equally impressed by the support from the Jamie Hollander team, particularly in working with Rachel Bova who was our wedding coordinator. Rachel's attention to detail, professionalism, and responsiveness was one of the few things that helped ease my mind during the planning process - she was always willing to answer my (many) follow-up questions thoroughly and provide guidance on how to ensure the day ran smoothly. On our actual wedding day I felt as relaxed as I could be knowing that Rachel and her crew cared just as much as I did about making the day as special as possible - you could tell from everyone's kindness and sense of urgency on the actual day. After our wedding, we received so many compliments from our guests on the food and the quality of service from the Jamie Hollander staff and team regarding how they were so attentive and went above and beyond the entire day.
If weather permits, it doesn't get much better than the outdoor spaces at Pearl Buck during the late summer! The ceremony area was so lush and green and cocktail hour in the stone patio was absolutely stunning with all the flowers in bloom - because of this, I knew I didn't have to do anything crazy with florals because the venue just speaks for itself in its beauty.
All that to say, we are so happy we chose Pearl Buck for our wedding venue - it was the perfect backdrop to an absolutely perfect day. -

Pearl S buck is such a beautiful venue! We got married 9/20 and it was a dream. The grounds were beautifully maintained, we had so many compliments on the landscaping. Jamie Hollander catering is amazing. The food was so good. The cocktail hour food was 10/10. We did stations for our dinner and they offered our guests so much food. The desserts were a hit. We still have people asking for a recipe for the waffles and ice cream! Our day of coordinator was Rachel Bova. We can not say enough good things about her. She was so helpful through the whole process. She answered every question quickly and had so many great ideas/thoughts. The day of she helped set up everything and worked so hard to make it perfect. Once everything was set up she thought of everything to help the day go smoothly. Guests thought she was a friend with how helpful, easy going, and her ability to know just what we needed. She was always a step away with everything we could think of. She reminded us to eat, gave us water when we needed it and took care of everything! We were so so grateful for Rachel she was truly the best. Our day would not have gone so smoothly and stress free without her. Can not recommend her enough!! -

Pearl S. Buck is the perfect wedding venue! It ended up raining on our wedding day and even so the location was so dreamy. All of our guests were amazed that the tent back up ceremony location was the back up and not the first choice. We also can't say enough good things about Rachel! From start to finish, she was the absolute best to work with. Her organization, calm demeanor, and attention to detail made our wedding day run so smoothly. Rachel was always one step ahead, anticipating our needs and handling every little detail so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. She truly made our day 100 times easier and more enjoyable! -

We had a PERFECT wedding at the Pearl S Buck Estate! The grounds are beautiful, the house made for a gorgeous backdrop, and we got so many stunning pictures. Huge shoutout to our coordinator, Rachel Bova. She is so professional, straightforward, and knowledgeable, and so kind! She answered all our questions during the planning, and made sure we had everything we needed day-of (my glass was never empty!). The staff at Jamie Hollander Catering was so lovely, the food was delicious, and everything went off without a hitch. 10/10, just amazing! -

We ♡ Jamie Hollander and the Pearl S. Buck!
I will forever be appreciative of Rachel B. and the Jamie Hollander Catering crew! They helped our day run smoothly and pivoted as needed for changes in the weather. Even in the rain, the Pearl S. Buck is beautiful.
The Jamie Hollander Catering staff were professional, welcoming, and accommodating. The food was delicious and our guests raved about the passed hors d'oeuvres, the taco bar, dinner, and desserts. We had a lot of enthusiastic, ready-to-party guests and the staff met their energy...so fun and excellent vibes!
We would do it all again! 10/10 -

We could not be more happy with how our wedding turned out at PSB Estate! We had an 80 person wedding on Oct. 6th. From the field where we held our ceremony, to the courtyard where we held cocktail hour, and the tent for the reception, the grounds were stunning throughout and made for a picture perfect day. Our day went so smoothly and we know that this would not have been the case without Rachel Bova, our Event Planner. We can’t thank Rachel enough for all the time, effort and thoughtfulness she put in leading up to our event and on the day of our event. We knew we were in such good hands with Rachel from our interactions with her and were able to enjoy every second without having to worry about a thing. Rachel made everything run so smoothly and we’re so fortunate for her help! We could not recommend this venue and team more. Our guests still haven’t stopped telling us how perfect the day was and how stunning this venue was! -

Perfect venue, service and team to work with!!
I cannot say enough good things about Jamie Hollander but I will try my best to summarize!! Our wedding was an absolute dream due to the hard efforts of the Jamie Hollander team! I worked most closely with Rachel Bova and she was absolutely wonderful!! She is so great to work with, she’s calm, easy to communicate with, understanding, flexible, a really hard worker and genuinely cares - she went absolutely above and beyond throughout the whole process, and especially on our actual day. It went so smoothly due to all of the behind the scenes work that she had done and my husband, me and our families could not be more grateful for her! We could really feel that Rachel cared about us as a couple/making sure our day was perfect and that just meant so much to us. She is everything you could ever want in a wedding coordinator & more.
As far as the team goes as a whole, they do a really good work! The food is so good and they did an amazing job of getting it to everyone at the cocktail hour (which is a hard feat with our crew). The bartenders did a great job of managing the busy crowd. There was never a long line and did great with making our signature drinks perfect. The staff helped with all our decor/DIYs/and florals to make our vision come true and also recycled the decor used during the ceremony perfectly for our reception.
Pearl S Buck was such a stunning venue - it really shines so much on its own. There are so many beautiful spots there for photos. The tent honestly is so beautiful inside and just the perfect place for a reception. The drapery and lights are already in place & look gorgeous/dreamy, the flooring is super high quality and they have really nice clean bathrooms attached to the tent. We got so many compliments on our venue from our guests!!
1000% recommend going with Jamie Hollander/ Pearl buck for your wedding - they are just above and beyond with everything they do and gave us the absolute best day ever. -

We feel so lucky to have had our wedding at the Pearl S. Buck Estate. Not only are the grounds literally perfect but Rachael, the venue coordinator, made an inherently stressful process SO much less so. She’s incredibly organized and communicative and truly ended up being our guiding light. I cannot recommend her and this venue enough. Oh and the FOOD! The venue exclusively partners with Jamie Hollander Catering — Our guests have said it’s the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding, hands down. So if food is important to you, Jamie Hollander/Pearl Buck is the move! -

Simply Amazing!!
I simply do not have words for the amazing wedding that my now husband, Josh, and I had at Pearl S. Buck on 4/24/21! I chose this venue in the midst of the pandemic lockdown simply based on pictures (a photographers dream!), and the promptness of response from Rachael, the coordinator. I chose the venue in April 2020, and finally got to see it in February 2021. It did not disappoint!! Rachael was there for us throughout every step of the way, and offered a lot of good suggestions for our day. Rachael will never steer you wrong! She also took care of coordinating my other vendors and the timeline for the day of. It was a huge stress relief for her to do that, she is simply amazing! The day of the wedding was just perfect. The venue itself is beautiful, especially how they keep it well manicured. Rachael and her staff at Jamie Hollander Catering took care of everything behind the scenes to make it go smoothly. The staff set everything up, and it looked gorgeous - even better than I imagined. They were never in the way either while making changes, or moving things from one place to the next. They were so prompt in getting all the food out on time, and making sure everyone was well taken care of. Josh and I were even designated a specific server for the night to let them know if we ever needed anything! Leslie, you rock! Everyone raved about the food all night, and still, almost 5 months later, people are still saying how good the food was. Especially the hors d’oeuvres!! They gave Josh and I a special mixture of all the appetizers in the bridal suite to enjoy before going into the reception – the best!! The staff was there to help and serve, but I really felt like they were never in the way and never distracting us from enjoying the night. The night went so smooth, and nothing was ever rushed or out of place. If I could choose Pearl all over again, I would. Amazing grounds, the best coordinator, nice spaces to get ready, the best caterer and staff, and an overall perfect night! I don’t have anything bad to say about Pearl! I definitely recommend this venue (along with our parents) to anyone looking! You will not be disappointed!! -

I cannot fully express just how incredible the Pearl S. Buck House was for our wedding. After losing our original venue (due to management issues) only THREE MONTHS before the wedding, I was scrambling to find a decent alternative. It turns out, we were lucky that the initial venue fell through, because Pearl S. Buck was even better than we could have imagined. Rachael was truly a Godsend. She is kind, delightful to work with, and a complete pro. Understanding our difficult circumstances, she promised to make our experience with Pearl S. Buck a much better one, and she delivered ten-fold.
Where do I begin?
The venue has a dozen great spots for beautiful and unique photos. The bridal and groomsmen suites were comfortable and large enough for the entire bridal party to hang out in together. Our cocktail hour was in a great space alongside to the house/museum, which was open to guests at the direction of a tour guide. Our reception tent was absolutely perfect - huge, with beautiful white draping and built-in lighting. There was a lovely fire pit area outside the tent as well. And very importantly, the food was AMAZING (my guests are still talking about the mini-cheese steaks). Everyone there could not have been kinder or more accommodating. Rachael was a superstar and saved the day!
We - and our guests - were blown away. THANK YOU for making our wedding day so spectacular! -

Venue of our dreams!
We are so happy we chose PSB as our wedding venue. A fall, outdoor ceremony was a must for us, so when we saw the grounds we fell in love. The grounds are meticulously maintained and beautiful year-round. The flowers in the gardens and pots are swapped out regularly based on the time of year, and are always bright and blooming. It is truly such a beautiful place filled with so much history. Our guests were floored by its unique beauty and we couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else. Thank you PSB! -

Pearl S. Buck was hands down one of the most accommodating venues I have ever worked with. I'm an event florist and recently got married at PSB. I work with A LOT of wedding coordinators and venues and Rachael at PSB was without a doubt the best coordinator I have ever worked with.
She is organized, sincere, and has great communication skills- which I find very rare with some vendors. She answered my 2am emails the next morning, knew every detail of the venue and it's guidelines and even reached out to other vendors for us to make our job even easier.
She was so much fun to work with and brought great ideas to the table. She was always open to suggestions and never tried to take advantage of us. PSB is lucky to have her. If I were a bride planning a wedding at PSB I would advise you to do anything Rachael tells you to do. She only has the bride's best interests at heart and you are her number one priority.
Side note... PSB is a hidden gem of Bucks County. For the price, it is a STEAL. Jamie Hollander is the caterer and blew us away. Not to mention the backdrop for photos. You have the whole venue at your disposal. It was my dream wedding and I would not have changed a single thing.

If your looking for a private, estately/rustic wedding venue then look no further! My husband and I got married at Pearl S Buck on June 8th 2018. We had a perfect day. We had our ceremony on the property outside on the lawn, the cocktail hour on the stone patio and lawn around Pearl S Buck's house and the reception in the tent. Our guests raved about how beautiful the property and grounds were. You don't feel like your even close to being in the metropolitan area when your there. Its so beautiful! Also you are the only event or wedding happening that day, so the entire property is yours to use! Jamie Hollander, the catering company for Pearl S Buck, was amazing to work with. Their staff is very attentive, response, helpful and fun! In addition, their food is delicious and beautifully displayed! Kate (Catering Manager) & Rachael (Catering Coordinator) and our two main contacts for Jamie Hollander were great! They were so helpful and responsive throughout the planning process, in addition were very attentive to my husband and my needs on our wedding day! They went above and beyond their responsibilities as catering manager & coordinator. Prior to our wedding day, the provided their expertise of the timeline, vendor management, liquor order, etc. It was so nice and helpful to me who wasn't familiar with the area. They helped coordinate my other vendors for the wedding, in addition helped with set-up and movement of our wedding decor during the wedding day and also assistance with packing up the decor & supplies after the event. My husband and I didn't worry a bit the day of our wedding, as we knew Kate & Rachael were confident, professional and we both knew they had things under control. I couldn't have asked for a better day, venue & catering company to work with!!

We could not have been more happy with this venue. I would highly recommend for a spring/summer wedding or ever. Kim was also very responsive and easy to work with! -

The Pearl S. Buck Estate is a beautiful location to hold a wedding. I fell in love with it at first site. However, the only caterer you can choose is Jamie Hollander Gourmet Foods. We had a COVID wedding date which obviously was not going to happen. They suggested we move our date (mostly weekday dates) and even push it to next year (with additional hefty costs). 25-50 people event all masked up. That's exactly what I dreamed of... As I predicted and all know now is that this wedding still wouldn't happen as COVID continues probably until next year. We could not put our life on hold. We did not want my husband's family, that were out-of-state, including elderly and parents that are immunocompromised from cancer to risk their health to get to our wedding. We wanted to cancel due to the unforeseen pandemic, health of our guests, and impossibility to have the wedding that we original signed the contract for. They made it extremely difficult! They would not negotiate at all. The owner never contacted us even though we asked to speak to him. They were so uncooperative that we had to talk with lawyers, be stressed, and eventually go to court. All of our other vendors refunded us our money. In the most strange and difficult times they put up a fight and the owner acted like he had no clue what was going on. I will say that this one star is for Rachel who was an awesome wedding coordinator and for the beauty of the venue.
I will say that the Pearl S. Buck non-profit did return our deposit once I asked them myself. Jamie Hollander caterer told me they wouldn't, that's shows a problem with the business between amongst them.
If you absolutely want your wedding here. Read the contract! Make sure you add everything into the contract to cover yourself for any issues so they cannot argue with you. Get wedding insurance ASAP. Honestly, just have your event some place else! They aren't worth it and overpriced.
