Peacock Ridge was so amazing!!! We found this venue by pure coincidence, I found them online and booked an appointment. The area is so beautiful, spacious and breathtaking. Large area for parking for all the guests. They had a bonfire area and allowed us to bring our dog which were huge selling points for us.
I was really worried about decorations, I didn’t want to spend a lot of extra money on stuff that I’m not going to use or need afterwards but Peacock Ridge had a huge collection of decorations available for use. That was huge stress relief for us.
All night at our wedding, we got compliments about how amazing the venue was from all of our guests. I would recommend this place to any couple looking for a peaceful looking wedding venue and if you’re an animal lover.

Simply amazing!
Our guest still have not stop raving about our venue! It’s absolutely stunning. Staff was amazing. They even supply decor to pick from. What I love most about this venue is there are so many things to enjoy. The animals, the barn, the pond, the fire pit, outdoor cocktail hour, and so many photos opportunities. Our wedding day was a dream.

Such a beautiful venue
This venue is beyond perfect! Cindy is fantastic to work with she has a ton of decorations to pick from as well so that saves a ton of money and time! The whole property is breathtaking I couldn’t have asked for a better venue to have my wedding at! She even helped during the wedding all night and took us all over the property to get the best pictures

Gorgeous AND a great value!
We absolutely loved our experience with Peacock Ridge. Cindy was so helpful and always was ready to answer my hundred questions. You really cant beat the value of this place. There is so much included in the price, if we would've went anywhere else we would've paid twice what we paid here. We got so, so many complements from guests about how beautiful the venue was. The animals added a nice touch and our guests really enjoyed them as well. There is a very nice room for the bride to get ready in that is air conditioned and the main barn is air conditioned as well which was very helpful because we had July weather for our September wedding. You can tell a lot of effort was put into the grounds here. I would recommend Peacock Ridge a thousand times over, we were extremely happy with our experience.

You will love Peacock Ridge!!
Can't say enough great things about Cindy and Peacock Ridge! Cindy is great to work with. Always fast to respond to emails and friendly. She was flexible and worked with my caterer on last minute details. The venue is gorgeous and I had sooo many compliments about the property. Everywhere I looked there was a picture opportunity. She does a great job decorating so you barely need to bring anything with you. There is also the "fun room" as I like to call it where you can go in and borrow items for the day. Oh and did I mention her dog George? He was the hit of the party :). I would highly recommend Peacock Ridge... you will not be disappointed! They are great!!!

My husband and I couldn’t say enough great things about peacock ridge. We got married there on 10/11/19 and had the best day ever (literally). The owner (Cindy) of Peacock ridge is an absolute sweetheart and is so involved and responsive. Whenever we had any questions leading up to our big day (or the day of) we’d send an email or speak with her and she’d get right back to us! We had absolutely NO issues or complaints about this venue or staff! It was an amazing day. If you want a beautiful wedding at a beautiful place with amazing staff, go here. You don’t be disappointed. We got tons of complements from the guests that it’s the prettiest venue/wedding they’ve been too. Highly recommend!

Cindy Lowry and her day-of coordinator, Michelle, were responsive, flexible and so accommodating. Our day was flawless. The food (Dishes by Design) was some of the best food- not just wedding food, but actual food- the guests have ever had. The grounds are so well taken care of, and Cindy was great at allowing me to come whenever I needed to walk around and get ideas. Couldn’t have asked for a better venue. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Cindy goes above and beyond to make sure your day is special. She is super easy to work with, friendly, and easy to communicate with. Cindy was able to lean in with extra items when another vendor forgot to bring something. Not only is Cindy great to work with but the venue is amazing! We got so many complements, from the ceremony at the pond to the cocktail hour on the patio, this venue is truly a dream. There’s so many great spots for photos. Our day was perfect and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way!

The Force is Strong at Peacock Ridge
My husband and I got married on May 4 at Peacock Ridge and had the most amazing experience. Cindy was consistently flexible with our arrangements and was extremely responsive during the planning process. It was very muddy by the pond the day of the wedding, and I really wanted the wedding to be outdoors and not in the barn. The Friday before the wedding, she agreed to have the wedding ceremony on the patio, as we were not going to use it for the cocktail hour. However, it did end up raining and we had to have the ceremony inside the barn. She and my day of coordinator added decorations to the barn to beautify it up a bit more than I had done earlier in the day. I would 110% recommend Peacock Ridge for your wedding day!

We got so many compliments from our wedding and especially the venue! The guests thought it was absolutely perfect and loved the property, the barn, the ceremony and the back patio! It was the perfect day! Cindy and her daughter were so great in helping me with every little detail. I was very lucky to get to work with these fabulous women! Anyone looking for a barn style wedding, this is the one! She has decorations you can use for an extra fee which we definitely took advantage of because they were so cute and perfect for any theme. This place was AMAZING. We had our wedding here June 16, 2017, and my only regret is that I haven't written this review sooner to tell everyone what a perfect wedding venue this was. Cindy, the owner, is absolutely wonderful...just so very helpful and great to work with. We hired her to do our decorating as well, and she was phenominal. She had a solution for every question or issue we had. Even though this venue was about an hour from where we lived, we had no hassles during the planning and preparation process. We made a couple trips out to see the venue and to discuss logistics and set a few things up a few days before the big day..that's it! When we arrived the day of the wedding, everything was in place. We paid a little extra to have someone set up our chairs which was totally worth it. We were so happy with how everything turned out and would 100% recommend this venue. I wish we could re-live the this day because there was just so much beauty to take in for one day. I was so happy with this venue and thankful we found such a beautiful place for our perfect day.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue. We wanted rustic, elegance, and country all in one and we received it with this venue. Cindy was awesome to work with and so responsive when we had questions. We were able to come to the venue a couple of times beforehand to get familiar with everything and figure out what all we would need. She has a decoration room with wedding items you can use, and this was super helpful for us! The property is so beautiful and charming. Definitely recommend if you are looking for an outdoor rustic venue!

We had a wonderful experience from early days of planning, deciding what decorations to use from her storage area below in the barn, to all their help the day of the wedding. I loved being able to use all your decorations instead of purchasing them myself. Being an out of state bride this mattered a great deal to me. All the additions you've made since we booked with you (a year and two months before) were pure perfection. The outdoor patio as well as little things inside made the beautiful barn even more gorgeous. I also appreciated being able to pick up signs the week before as well as set up Friday before the rehearsal. That was a complete game changer and made my wedding day virtually stress free. Finally, your added touch to different areas on the day of really was the cherry on top. Thank you for helping create one of the best days of our lives!

Beautiful venue and very helpful team. Cindy & Jim are the best. They were super helpful and attentive from letting us view the venue multiple times, sending floor plans, and making sure everything was setup perfectly. Peacock Ridge has everything you need. All the tables, chairs, linens, place settings are perfect. Mason jars for water glasses, mix-matched vintage china, and mix-matched wood farm chairs really add a special touch. Cindy also has a TON of decorations that can be used.
The grounds are beautiful...even though our wedding was the beginning of May and the trees were still a little bare it was still gorgeous. Cindy also made sure the planters were all filled.

This is the most beautiful venue! Cindy is wonderful. We were a bit surprised that a lot of the items were rentals, but the pricing wasn't too bad and could have been way worse. She also helped us get in touch with someone for hay bales for the ceremony since we are not local to the area. We were so happy with Peacock Ridge!

We just had our 9.9.17 wedding at Peacock Ridge. WOW is all I can say. From day one Cindy has been extremely helpful and prompt in answering any and all questions I had. She allowed me to stop by the barn anytime I'd like to just get ideas and help ease my mind with what I wanted to do decoration wise. I heard from all my guests about how beautiful this venue was. Many others were telling me how it was the most beautiful wedding they've attended. It was all in help with Cindy's wonderful property! She does such a great job landscaping her property that my photographer had a field day with all the cool areas we were able to get pictures at. I will always recommend Peacock a Ridge for any bride looking for the most perfect barn venue and wedding experience.

This venue is absolutely beautiful, and incredibly photogenic! We planned to have a beautiful outdoor wedding by the lake, but had to move it into the barn the day before due to 100% rain the day of our wedding (lucky, amiright?). Let me tell you- it turned out better than I could have ever imagined! The barn has an incredibly intimate, homey feel to it. Cindy is a designer who decorated the barn, so it was perfectly decorated with hanging fabric and beautiful burlap chandeliers with no effort on our part (so glad we didn't have to decorate any rafters ourselves). It comes decorated, but they also have a huge variety of other props in the basement if you'd like. The lighting in the barn has a very warm glow to it, and Cindy and her team worked flawlessly with our other vendors. Because of the rain, I had guests say that Cindy's husband drove them, in his personal vehicle, to the barn so they didn't get wet. Guys, these are the type of folks who will go the extra mile. Highly recommend!

We recently had our wedding in June of this year. We were so happy with our overall experience with Peacock Ridge! We booked this venue sight unseen because we live a few hours from here. Talking with Cindy and getting all the details we were able to trust and know that this was the place we wanted to have our reception. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and made some of our photos our absolute favorites. She let us come in random dates leading up to the wedding even with short notice just to look around and make sure everything we were planning would work with the venue. Our set up was quick and easy. They had everything we needed all set out for us when we came in so we were in and out the day of our rehearsal. The day of the wedding the groomsmen got to hang out and get ready in their new groomsmen quarters and they had a blast just hanging out there. Zach was there the day of set up and the reception to make sure everything went smoothly and he was a lot of help. If there was ever the smallest problem, he was there to make sure our day went smooth and we didn't have to worry about a thing.

Peacock Ridge was the most amazing venue for our June wedding! It was absolutely stunning and made our day amazingly perfect! Cindy was incredibly easy and flexible to work with and communicate with, from coming out to seeing the venue in advance to being present the entire day of our wedding to help and ensure everything flowed smoothly. The grounds are so beautiful and made such a gorgeous backdrop for our ceremony and for our photos and the barn was such a stunning and unique setting for our reception. We adored everything about the venue from the sweet and friendly animals wandering around the farm, to the rustic and charming set up of chairs and decorations in the barn. I cannot say enough good things about Peacock Ridge and I could not recommend it enough!

We just got married at Peacock Ridge this weekend and I couldn't have asked for anything more. This was the first and only venue we looked at. Cindy was amazing making sure everything was available and set up for our big day. We changed our original date because it was booked already and we knew this was going to be the place we would get married.
Our families were amazed but the venue and wedding itself. This was my dream wedding and everything I wanted. Some of our vendors had been there before and knew what to expect while others were taken aback by how breathtaking the place really is. The bridal sweet was perfect to get all of my bridesmaids, flower girls and myself ready in. My hairdresser was really impressed with how it was set up and the space, mirrors and outlets we had available.
We used Mission BBQ for catering service and they really went above and beyond helping to make sure everything was the way we anticipated.
I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a rustic barn theme wedding. The place has decorations that stay up, tables, chairs and the dishes don't match but that's what makes it so unique and adorable. I wouldn't change a thing except maybe had a planner to look over as I stuck that on my sister who was amazing but you really need that extra little help.

Peacock Ridge is an amazing venue! It offers an authentic rustic & vintage element while keeping your wedding elegant and classy. Cindy, the owner was amazing to work with. She is very flexible and accommodating throughout the planning process and day of your wedding. She is very knowledgeable and has many great suggestions for popular vendors nearby. The grounds are beautiful, and there are dozens of creative backdrops for you and your photographer. There are many possibilities for your guests to be entertained throughout the whole night as you can go from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception all in the same spot! I highly recommend Peacock Ridge because my personal wedding experience was the perfect night!

Cindy was absolutely wonderful to work with, and was there every step of the way. She did a beautiful job setting up everything including our centerpieces. Our weather went from 70 degrees to a white out of snow in less then 24 hours, and Cindy was right on point to make very last minute changes. We got so many compliments, and are still getting phone calls today about how stunning everything looked! I could not have asked for a more beautiful venue or accommodating staff.

The setting is perfect for anyone looking to have rustic wedding. It is absolutely beautiful. Not only the barn but the piece of property as well. You really only need minimal decorations. It is that stunning. We were able to have our fairy tale wedding with cigar bar outside with a tent, food trucks able to pull right up and sparkler exit. Majority of our guests were from out of town and still raving to our parents about the venue. It is a great value as well because it includes the cutest set of china/linens/ and mismatched white chairs. Cindy was wonderful to work with as well :) Could NOT of asked for anything better.

We used Peacock Ridge for our wedding ceremony and reception venue. Cindy Lowry, the owner of the barn and property, was very quick to respond to all of my emails. She answered each question, provided recommendations of vendors, and was very easy to work with. The barn and property are gorgeous! They are very well kept. We liked that the venue is basically already beautifully decorated, we just had to add our own personal touches. We received so many compliments from guests about the venue, and still are 3 days later! This venue is exactly what we were looking for. The spacious property allowed room for our guests to wander the grounds, play games that we provided and dance inside the barn on their large dance floor! They do have some farm animals (even peacocks!), however there was no smell or sounds from them as they were fenced in on the other side of the pond. We would highly recommend this venue if you are looking for a quaint, beautiful barn wedding!

My husband and I were married at Peacock Ridge this past Sunday and it was simply perfect! Cindy is amazing! She set up and cleaned up for us and it truly lifted a weight off our shoulders. The venue is absolutely beautiful. Cindy was amazing to work with and was always available. We were originally supposed to get married in 2015 but we ended up getting pregnant. We contacted her and she was so understanding and accommodating. We got married 7.16.16 and it could not have been a more perfect day. Anyone looking to have their wedding here will realize how lucky they are. This venue is special and the people who run it are even more so. We attended a wedding this weekend at Peacock Ridge. Talk about a beautiful venue! This is it. The grounds are fantastic with am amazing views. Everything went so well for our friends. We were looking at venues and I had contacted Cindy and she said we can come anytime. I asked if we could come that night bc me and my finances schedule has been very non corresponding with each other and she told us to come on down. We jumped int eh truck and off we went. Peacock ridge is so beautiful! When we arrived there to check out venues we knew this was the one! We were first greeted by her husband and dog because she was just wrapping up with other clients that stopped in before us. And right off the bat her husband and dog were very friendly and warming talked to us and we got aquatinted with him. The venue includes a lot for the price well worth it and the view is just so breathtakingly beautiful!!! Can't beat the view! The pond the yard the buildings . The little bridal house and barn everything was perfect and Cindy is so nice and answered any questions and replied to our emails In a timely manner! The whole atmosphere there is so warming and cozy like you're right at home!

She let us come out to the barn multiple times before the big day, which I was truly grateful for as a frantic bride. We just recently were married in August at this absolutely beautiful venue. I am so happy with how everything turned out it was everything that we could have asked for! Cindy was so kind to let us come in earlier to set up and was very flexible with allowing us to store some decorations and come back the next day to clean up. When finding this place I fell completely in love because it fit the theme of our wedding perfectly. Being a private residence turned wedding venue...I still felt right at home. From the way it was decorated inside, to the country setting itself, it was exactly what I wanted. The pond, the barn, the land...all perfect. The cute little bridal suite for us to get ready in was a huge added plus!! It was adorable and we were able to stay cool as we dressed! We even had the opportunity of building the arbor for the ceremonies to be performed in, which added another element of rustic to the property. The owners were super easy and flexible to work with, anything my heart desired she helped or allowed me to arrange. All of my vendors worked very well together and made my day so much less stressful and also raved about the beauty of the venue I chose. So many options and great country landscaping for great photos was right up my photographer's alley! The day of the wedding must've been the hottest day in August, I swear, but the barn stayed very comfortable and I heard no complaints from any of my guests. I heard many say that my wedding was meant for this place and it was meant for us. The owners were very helpful, answering all questions and were very involved but not overbearing the day of the wedding. I hardly knew she was there!

We just had our ceremony and reception at Peacock Ridge and the whole day was absolutely perfect. The ceremony setting is stunning and the barn is just simply beautiful and full of rustic charm. I loved the barn's decor and the mismatched vintage china and linens added that extra special touch. Chuck the swan even swam by the pergola during our ceremony - he was a big hit with our guests!
We had the barn set up for 160 people and there was still plenty of room for everything (dance floor, and banquet, gift, guest book, DJ and pie tables). Even though it was a high of 80 degrees that day the barn was never too hot. We had corn hole games set up outside which our guests loved. Once it got dark we lit a bonfire which allowed for some great photo ops.
Cindy was super responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. Every question I asked she answered promptly and every request I had she granted with pleasure. There was some setup time involved the day before (setting tables, arranging the barn, setting up chairs for the ceremony) but we had some friends and family come help and we were done in no time. I looked at so many venues before deciding on Peacock Ridge and I'm so glad I did - I couldn't be happier with the way our special day turned out!

We found Peacock Ridge while looking for a venue for our October 2015 wedding. When we toured it, we fell in love immediately! Not only was the venue gorgeous, all of the amenities included were amazing! Months after starting the planning of our wedding, we decided to greatly downsize, including with the venue. Cindy was very gracious about us canceling our contract, and promised us a full return on our deposit, should she re-book the date. Low and behold, we received a check in the mail today, refunding the entire amount! We appreciate Cindy's honesty & professionalism SO much, and we will absolutely recommend this venue to anyone, for not only the beautiful location but also the wonderful woman running it!

We attended a wedding reception at Peacock Ridge a couple weeks ago and WOW is was so beautiful!! The barn where the reception was just gorgeous and looks over a beautiful pond and is surrounded by acres of scenery that takes your breath away. It was so peaceful and everything was just perfect. Everything was absolutely perfect for our wedding vow renewal at Peacock Ridge- we really could not have asked for anything more. We have heard nothing but rave reviews from family and friends about all the fun they had. The moment I saw this tastefully restored 1850 barn I knew I wanted to have an event there. The owner, Cindy, was very friendly and easy to work with. As we are from out of town it was a giant plus that the barn just needed a few personal touches to make it our own. Thank you for a very memorable day!!

Absolutely beautiful venue/setting for a wedding/reception. From the beautiful rolling farm land driving here to the long paved drive back to the stunningly beautiful setting....a big beautiful barn, large pond and amazing landscape surrounded by cornfields. The inside of the barn is all original and amazing, furnished with tables, chairs, table linens, and draped ceilings. And, I love the fact that we could have our own caterers and alcohol (unlike most venues where you have to use theirs).
Cindy the owner was such a pleasure to work with, quick to get back to you on any questions, calls, emails or messages.
And, there are numerous hotel close by to accommodate any guests. I would highly recommend Peacock Ridge.

We had our wedding here and absolutely loved it. Initially the price had us thinking that it might not be a good fit, but once we saw the barn we absolutely fell in love with it. Cindy was quick to respond to any questions we had, was willing to meet multiple times in person at the venue, and was just a genuinely nice person. The barn really is just so beautiful and tastefully decorated. This was helpful because it meant we didn't have to order/make a ton of decorations we would never use again. We had about a million compliments from our guests about how gorgeous the place is. The entire experience was easy, stress-free, and made for the best wedding.

We just had our wedding this past Friday at Peacock Ridge! Cindy was a pleasure to work with and responded very promptly to the many emails I sent her through the planning process! All of my guests loved the venue and it was one of the biggest compliments on our wedding! Cindy even helped dismiss tables for dinner for us because I forgot to ask someone to do it! The only thing was the space was small inside the barn for all of our guests (180ish people). I would suggest no more than 150-160 would seat comfortably in the barn. Luckily the weather was perfect and my guests enjoyed walking around the area and the bonfire! It was such a perfect day and highly recommend!

This venue is absolutely gorgeous. It was the perfect backdrop for pictures for us and our bridal party. Cindy was very friendly and easy to work with. She always responded quickly to our emails and adequately answered all the questions we had along the way. This truly is an amazing find!

July 2019 Reception
Peacock Ridge was all my husband and I were hoping it would be on our wedding day! Cindy was very flexible, making sure we had all we needed and working with us on set-up the day of. The venue is beautiful and homey. We really liked how guests could be inside the barn or outside walking around the gorgeous property! Thank you Cindy!

Our Dream Day
Peacock Ridge is honestly such a dream wedding venue. Between the gorgeous barn, to the intimate bridal house, to the breath taking outdoor ceremony space, to the indoor/outdoor reception space, and the overall feeling of this venue, we completely would recommend this venue for your special day. Cindy is open to communication and flexible with what you want for your day. There have been many weddings at this venue, however they make sure your day is special and one to always remember.

Cindy was wonderful to work with while we were booking our venue! I was planning my wedding all the way from Washington state and my parents actually went out to look at the venue for me. Cindy was more than helpful with taking them on a tour, showing them around, and even video chatting with me throughout the process so I could see and be a part of everything. I have to say I was really impressed that on the day of the wedding, Cindy was out driving the kids around on the golf cart and being as helpful as possible during the festivities.
My only issue came with the heat inside the barn. The barn has a heating and cooling unit, but doesn't work well enough to properly cool the barn since it is not insulated. We had a 90+ degree wedding day so it was miserably hot inside the barn to the point that we had to open all the doors and windows and utilize the fans inside the windows, to which still didn't do much. We had a lot of our older relatives leave early due to the heat. I still give a high rating because Cindy was there the entire time trying to do everything she could to make it more bearable and to make sure everything was working. I'm sure in the future the barn will be insulated/fixed so that it can be a comfortable environment on a hot day like ours.
Overall everyone absolutely LOVED the venue! I have gotten non-stop compliments on how beautiful my photos turned out and how beautiful the location was. The water, the swans, everything. Thank you Cindy!

I was very pleased with everything and anything that had to do with my experience at Peacock Ridge for my October wedding. Cindy is a pleasure to work with and extremely accomodating! If you are looking for a beautiful, laid back rustic setting with a romantic ambiance, this is your place. Cindy really allows you to make your special day everything you want it to be from your own caterer, music, alcohol and decorations! The venue is worth every penny at an exceptional price!

Peacock Ridge Farm is absolutely stunning! Mrs. Lowry and her family have worked at amazing speeds and with quality to update and improve the barn before my wedding this summer. It is only her second year of weddings on her property, and she is already booked for two years out - not surprising! She keeps a clean, accommodating, and well organized place. Not that I would ever be up for planning another wedding (ha) but if I did I would definitely NOT change the location. The pond, bridal house, barn, tables, chairs, and decor fit the 'vintage theme' so perfectly! All of our guests could not stop raving about how lovely everything turned out. I would highly recommend Peacock Ridge Farm to any bride.

Intimate, Romantic, Natural Venue
After visiting Peacock Ridge for the first time, we cancelled the remainder of our venue tours that very same day. We knew we had found something special the moment we pulled in the drive. There is so much character at Peacock Ridge Farms. Cindy did an amazing job decorating the interior of the barn to make it feel like more than just a "rustic" venue. It's truly stunning, especially once it gets dark and all the twinkling lights turn on. It made our wedding feel so intimate, which is exactly what we were going for. Although it can hold 200 people, we ended up with 165-170 people and that felt like the perfect amount for the space without it feeling too cramped. The property is absolutely stunning and provides a gorgeous fall backdrop with all the changing leaves! My bridesmaids loved how cute and unique the bridal suite was, but were overall thankful we used another space to get ready in, as it is a little small for 8 people. Even though it poured on our day, we were able to transform the ceremony space to be indoors and it still turned out beautiful simply because the inside of the barn is decorated so nicely and light so romantically! (So brides - DON'T panic about your back up plan! I promise the pictures and video still turn out absolutely beautiful!) Cindy also provided us with a lot of preferred vendors who had worked at Peacock Ridge previously and we were lucky to have an experienced vendor team. All the vendors we spoke with immediately knew just how special Peacock Ridge was when we told them where we'd be getting married in late October. If there's a date available - book it quick! You won't regret looking back and having Peacock Ridge be the place you & your partner become one!

The Peacock Ridge, N. Lawrence, OH Wedding Review
My daughter was married the end of June and the wedding & reception was at The Peacock Ridge in North Lawrence, OH. The venue was beautiful, a barn that provides a warm, rustic & romantic touch of elegance. Received so many compliments, "how did you find this place, such a lovely venue". Cindy (owner), thank you for your guidance, recommendations and your professionalism throughout our planning, it was a beautiful wedding.

We had our wedding at Peacock Ridge on 10/14/16 and the venue was absolutely stunning! The owner, Cindy, was very easy to work with and very responsive to any questions we had throughout the entire process. She had the barn decorated with all of the fall colors and pumpkins/flowers! She was able to rent us a golf cart to help accommodate all our guests getting down to the ceremony. On the day of the wedding we were able to get into the barn early to set everything up and get it ready! I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone because it is absolutely beautiful! We had compliments from all of our guests about this being the best venue they had ever been to!

The venue is one of the most beautiful barns out there, I can’t tell you how many compliments I got. That being said, for the money, it was pricey. I purchased the most expensive package which included clean up at the end of the night which was fantastic, however it’s advertised that you get a wedding day planner and that’s far from the case. I had my own wedding planner thankfully, because it was the owners son actually assigned as my day planner whom I didn’t speak to once. The barn is air conditioned, however when you open the barn doors which you will want to do, it goes off, and it is blistering hot inside. It actually was frigid during the day while we were getting ready and I was excited, but the second people arrived, it was awful, and there are no fans. I asked to have a tent outside for shade, which I was told I could, however it would be another $500 to rent more workers to put tables under it and it had to be taken down by midnight(by us or the rental company). Mind you, I still would be paying for the tent rental and assembly itself and I had rented tables already to go outside, which I told Cindy. This was very upsetting because of how much I did pay already and how little I did ask for. I did pay for the package to use all of her decorations, so my wedding planner just arranged everything for me, that was great. The bridal house to get ready in is very nice but there is no bathroom-you have to go to the barn.

This venue is incredible! All of my guests were amazed at how beautiful everything was and the weather was perfect.
The only complaint is communication. We wish there was more communication from the staff. We found out the week before the event that our main contact would be out of town. The guy who was on site for set up told us, "I just cut the grass," which definitely raised some stress levels for the details we discussed with the venue prior. There were not a lot of recommendations or guidance, which I was OK with, as I had a vision for what I wanted. A wedding/reception requires a lot of communication, and assurance/updates from the venue would have eased some tension.
Price wise- find your own vendors, the one's they recommend are overpriced. You are also required to use their bartending services which run @ $5/per person (without alcohol). The communication with the company DishesByDesign was nonexistent. I had to reach out multiple times and/or wait days for a response. Clearly not a prioritized gig for them! Luckily the bartenders were fantastic and we hardly ever had a line for 150 people. The price DOES NOT include clean up. Be prepared to pay an additional $1,000 or clean up after yourselves on the night of the event.
If you have a vision & love the venue- you will be extremely happy with this choice! The stress level may be high with lack of communication, but everything somehow fell into place!

This place NEEDS TO INVEST in some window shades asap! I was a guest there and the sun was in my eyes right during dinner! It was awhful! And also only one rest room, one toilet for women are you kidding me! That is very unprofessional!

The day of our wedding was just a mess. There is no doubt that Peacock Ridge is beautiful inside and out...when I decided this would be our venue, I even changed our date just so we could get married there. Cindy kept open lines of communication with me, generally responding within 2 days of me emailing her. But when I think about the morning of our wedding I get tears in my eyes - and not the good kind. I know that no matter how organized I was (believe me - I've got spreadsheets, lists, diagrams etc out the wazoo to demonstrate that), things go wrong. But it started the day before the wedding when I went with my mom and a bridesmaid to drop off all the handmade decor (with a seating/table arrangement document & instructions on where everything should go when set up) & the alcohol. Cindy walked up to me, while setting up for a wedding she had that day & said "Hi, I'm Cindy, the barn holds 200 people and..." where I cut her off to say "I know, we talked about me dropping our stuff off today - I'm getting married here tomorrow". Honest mistake; she sees a lot of people every day, but still. My ladies & I unloaded everything downstairs in the barn, & put the folder with the directions right on top, clearly labeled. We then went & found Cindy & told her that everything she needed, including the directions was there. The morning came & a friend & MIL went to the venue to cut flowers for the centerpieces. When they arrived nothing was done - 2 hours before my ceremony. Upon my mil asking Cindy my decor/alc was she said "downstairs. we don't do that". My mom, mil, fil, bridal party, caterer & even GUESTS had to rush to set up my wedding w/out directions bc Cindy claimed she didn't have them & when I found out, it took everything in me not to sob. Everyone told us how beautiful it all was, but my heart broke inside bc nothing was how I planned it to look. Not to mention my husband was furious. Cindy did refund some of the $ but that was really a moot point in the end.

I booked my wedding here then a week later I got a call telling me that they are shutting down and then I hear that they are opening back up and instead of giving me the same price because I was already booked she raised it 1500 more but if you are going to want to keep people coming and making your customers happy you could of keep it the price that they booked it or called the people you cancelled there wedding and gave them a special for what you put them through but yes Cindy was nice but I did not think this was right I got my hopes up and loved the place and put my dopsite down and then told I have to find some where else not right in my eyes
