The BEST Bakery!!

Peace of Cake is AMAZING and they are truly the best bakery and people around!

My family has been so fortunate to get all of our special occasion cakes and cookies from Peace of Cake for years now. They made all of the cakes for my Sweet 16, High School and College Graduations, and numerous other special life events. When I got engaged I knew that they were the only ones who I wanted to make my wedding cake! My husband, Jeff, and I worked with them to make our dream wedding cake! Kim is so amazing and kind! She looked at all of our pictures and listened to what we were looking for. Of course, she envisioned and created a sketch that was more amazing than we could have ever thought of ourselves!

What we did not plan on was when all went crazy with the world and we had to postpone our July 2020 wedding for July 2021. Kim and her team were so accommodating and comforting with our change of date. My husband and I decided that we still wanted to get married on our original date, so my mom surprised us after our small ceremony with a cake that her and Kim had designed! It was perfect!

Fast forward a year, we finally had our cake for our reception that Kim had originally designed with us and it was absolutely beautiful and more than we could have dreamed of! She also helped my mom and bridesmaids to design a cake and matching cookies that went with my bridal shower theme! It was not an easy theme and of course they looked perfect! We feel so blessed to have had not only one Peace of Cake cake for our wedding day but two and their treats for all the moments in between! Thank you so much for helping to make all of our special days SO perfect!

Delicious Desserts

We ordered our wedding cake and assorted desserts from Peace of Cake and everything was both beautiful and delicious! Kim was so easy to work with and I appreciated her flexibility with our date change due to COVID.

Yummy, Beautiful, and Affordable

When our destination wedding was canceled due to COVID, we had 3 months to completely replan and find all new vendors. Peace of Cake came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. The cake shop smelled amazing when we walked in. We got a 6 inch top tier cake and 4 dozen cupcakes for our small backyard wedding, and everything looked incredible and was perfect. The flavors were amazing! I was very glad when we had some leftover cupcakes to enjoy. I would highly recommend!

Beautiful yummy cakes!

Our family has known Kim and her family for years but will continuously use Peace of Cake for our events not only because of that but because they are amazing at what they do! They continuously make beautiful desserts regardless of the event they are for and they are always delicious! When I met with Kim for my wedding, she was so easy-going and just listened even through all of my indecisiveness. I showed her pictures and told her what I was envisioning for our wedding cake and she sketched it out right there in that moment and provided suggestions and advice to make it even better than I was imagining. The cake looked exactly as we had planned and the cupcakes I got with them were beautiful as well. We did a standard chocolate chip cake with their fudge and white chocolate fillings which is one of their signature flavors and then did a mixture of seasonal flavors for our fall wedding. I'm thankful that we ended up with a few extra after the wedding so I could taste each one of them because they were all delicious. Can't thank Peace of Cake enough for making our day so great!

Wedding Cupcakes!

We got cupcakes from Peace Of Cake for our wedding on 10-12-19 and they were delicious! Not to mention super reasonable pricing! They were very easy to work with as well!

Peace of Cake was absolutely amazing! They are so good at their jobs and really gave us what we wanted in terms of cake! They have soooo many different flavors and will work with you to find the exact flavors you want. We highly recommend them!

Delicious and cheap!

We got our wedding cake from here and couldn't be happier with our experience ! Let me start off by saying this was probably the most delicious cake I've ever eaten and it was so cheap compared to other places around here ! We got the lemon with lemon curd and raspberry buttercream and the vanilla with strawberries and vanilla buttercream, which our guests absolutely loved! It also is the cutest little shop downtown, and Kim is super friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend!

Beautiful and delicious cakes

We decided we wanted a wedding cake only two weeks before the wedding, but Peace of Cake was so helpful and immediately set us up with a cake tasting. All the flavors were delicious - rich and interesting flavor combinations without ever being too sweet. We chose the marble cake with chocolate ganache and then had a second chocolate almond sheet cake, and I can’t decide which was my favorite, they were both so good. We also appreciated the owner giving us some tips on what would look the best and Is the one who suggested having multiple flavors. The cake was a huge hit!

Wonderful bakery! I ordered 5 cakes and mini pies for our wedding and it was absolutely perfect! Even make a Weber kettle grill cake for the groom! Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

The cupcakes were amazing at my daughter’s wedding 6/30/18. We had red velvet, lemon with raspberry, chocolate chip with canol filling, decadence GF, German chocolate. Great customer service.

Kim and her team were amazing. She was very attentive and listened to our many requests at the tasting. They executed our idea perfectly! The cupcake flavors we chose were Lemon blueberry, coconut, vanilla and strawberry vanilla. Our single tier cake was also lemon blueberry and it was to die for. We plan on getting the exact tier again on our one year anniversary. We were able to rent the cupcake stand from them as well which was very convenient. They were also great when we ordered a rehearsal dinner cake and cookies last min (about a week before the event). We told them what we wanted and they stuck with our theme. I highly recommend them. They are the best around our small little eastern shore town.

Our cake and cupcake display were everything we wanted them to be! Kim and her team did an amazing job, prices are very reasonable, and delivery to our venue down the street was free. What more could you want?! Our guests loved all the cake flavors and got a kick out of the beach theme. One of my biggest regrets of my wedding day is just that I never got to finish my piece of cake!! Too busy dancing. But I know I'll be be back one day to enjoy another piece. We also ordered some crab-shaped frosted cookies to put into our welcome bags and those were a huge hit! They last a while too, we were still snacking on extras for days after the wedding. Thank you Peace of Cake!!

We were so happy we went with Peace of Cake for our wedding! Not only did it look beautiful but we got so many compliments on how delicious it was. We also appreciated their direction on how many guests to expect to eat cake so we weren't left with LOTS of cake afterwards.

Peace of Cake was amazing! Kim was so friendly and accomodating during our tasting and listened to exactly what we wanted for both flavors and the decorating. The cake looked beautiful, but more importantly tasted delicious! I would highly recommend Peace of Cake for all of your bakery needs. We are SO glad that we found Peace of Cake and used them to make our lovely wedding cake and cupcakes! Our tasting was such a pleasant experience and was very laidback which we loved. We LOVED our cakes from Peace of Cake. We opted for a small cake with two tiers, as well as two sheet cakes. All three of the flavors were DELICIOUS! The tiered cake was gorgeous as well. The staff was very friendly and did a great job helping with the design of the cake. They were also very accommodating when we needed to increase the order at the last minute!

My husband and I went through Peace of Cake for our wedding cake and cupcakes. They did such a beautiful and delicious job! We worked with Kim and she is such a sweet, no-nonsense professional! She was easy to get in touch with and is so kind. Their prices are great, and they do such BEAUTIFUL work. We got a small cutting cake, and 125 cupcakes that had buttercream icing in the shape of roses. They provide the cake stands for the table which is so helpful. We also had them make 90 chocolate chip cookies that we placed at each guest's place setting at the reception. They wrapped the cookies in little cookie bags so we didn't have to provide anything except the little personalized stickers we asked them to put on the bags. The presentation exceeded my expectations with the cake and the cupcakes being almost too beautiful to eat. Everything was so delicious. Our guests raved about the cupcakes. We were so happy to have leftovers because my husband and I wanted to keep some to ourselves afterwards haha. Even now, he still says he wants to go over to Peace of Cake just to go grab some pastries because EVERYTHING they make is incredible. They do free delivery to the locations on the Eastern Shore and that was very helpful (our venue was Silver Swan Bayside in Stevensville). We had absolutely nothing to worry about, everything was delivered on time and in one piece! It's a small bakery with a lot of heart. I recommend them to everyone I know!

This is my go-to bakery for everything now! Kim and I designed a surprise grooms cake for my husband which they delivered to the rehearsal restaurant. We also completed our cake testing and designing with our children. They were professional, provided a great product and paid attention to every detail. Top notch! I randomly found this bakery on google to use for my wedding cake, and could not have more excited to have found them! They are so accommodating and so creative to come up with anything you could possibly dream of. My fiance and I fell in love with so many flavors that we had to incorporate a few different ones in our design, and I decided to surprise him with a groom's cake. Both cakes were completely amazing and well received by everyone. The easiest part of my wedding was deciding on this bakery....there is no where else you can go to find such wonderful quality at the best price!

I want more of that cake! We tested three different bakeries for our wedding cake and none could top Peace of Cake!

We ordered a three tier wedding cake with a different flavor for each tier (vanilla/fresh strawberries/vanilla buttercream, almond/raspberry preserves/chocolate buttercream, lemon/lemon curd/raspberry buttercream) plus a grooms cake (chocolate and peanut butter).

I explained my idea for the groom’s cake to Kim and she nailed it!

The cakes were delicious.. not overly moist or too sweet and we loved how they incorporated fresh fruit into the cake! We don’t live in the Kent Island area but every time we go back to that area we might just buy a cake from Peace of Cake because it is that good (and affordable! I was very surprised with how reasonable the price was!)

My husband and I are so happy that we chose Peace of Cake to bake our wedding day deserts! Kim made the entire process of choosing our deserts super easy! She provided many options at our tasting, but she helped us narrow things down to exactly what we wanted. She was also very knowledgeable in determining the quantity we should have of each item and the price she charged was super reasonable. She made us a beautiful wedding cake, a personalized groom’s cake, and an array of regular and mini cupcakes. She even personally delivered them all to our venue the morning of the wedding. We did not have to worry about a thing! Everything was absolutely delicious and I cannot wait to eat the top tier on our anniversary this December! We ordered 5 different flavors of bakery style cakes & sheet cakes for our wedding. (Java, Black Forest, Strawberry Shortcake, Marble/Choc/PB, and Lemon Poppy/Rspberry)

The cakes were SO well received by all of our guests and looked beautiful displayed at the venue. Guests were excited to try each flavor of cake and frosting and filling - cake was super moist and everything was delicious. The best part - this option was totally affordable and included delivery to our venue.

Peace of Cake had us in for a tasting and accommodated all of the flavors and ideas we had. Could not have asked for a better experience with cake (and I am PICKY!) Thank you thank you thank you!

Selecting Peace of Cake to provide our wedding cake was the easiest decision we had to make for our celebration. They were extremely easy to work with, their prices were reasonable, and most importantly, the end product was delicious. At our cake tasting, we loved the samples they offered because they had interesting flavor combinations and their frosting wasn’t overly sweet. We settled on two different flavors, because we had a three tier cake: chocolate with dark chocolate mousse filling and raspberries, and vanilla with vanilla buttercream and fresh strawberries. They listened to our ideas for a wedding cake design, made good suggestions, and together we were able to come to a decision on a design that fit well with the colors and formality of our celebration. On the day of our wedding, our cake looked beautiful and tasted even better. They baked an extra tier of cake for us to eat on our one year anniversary. Because we moved cross-country shortly after our wedding, we defrosted and enjoyed the extra tier on our one week wedding anniversary. It was delicious!! If Peace of Cake was located in our new hometown, we would order all future birthday and anniversary cakes from them.

Peace of Cake made both wedding cake and pies for our wedding. Everything was AMAZINGGGG!! The cake was SO beautiful and they captured the look exactly as we wanted. Everything was SO delicious!! We had two different flavors of cake and three different flavors of pie. In addition to having the best tasting cakes they are at a great price! My parents stop by there store all the time to buy pastries. They were so easy to work with! Highly recommend Peace of Cake!

We decided not to go with a traditional wedding cake. Instead we frequested a croquembouche. We were absolutelyblown away when we saw it!!! Not only did it look amazing, but it is so delicious! We received so many compliments. Along with the cream puffs, we also had a red velvet cake which so many guests said they don't even like cake, but this one was incredibly good!

I used Peace of Cake for my wedding 9/12/2015. I have gotten so many compliments both on the taste and look of my cake. It was absolutely gorgeous, someone thought I was looking at a pinterest picture not my pictures!! They worked with me to change the flowers on the cake to more "gerber daisy" looking and were flexible when I changed the number of people a month out. The cake also tasted amazing. People couldn't help but get a second piece. I am very happy with Peace of Cakes.

I got two cakes from them - one for my rehearsal and one for the wedding. They were both pretty custom (not normally made, actually they never had made before) and they were both perfect! After the wedding one of my facebook posts was even about how it was the best cake they had at a wedding ever! Very sweet people and great cake!

I used Peace of cake for my wedding cake and omg it was amazing! Not only did it look exactly how I had described it to them but it also tasted amazing! And I'm not a big cake person but their cakes are amazing! I had A LOT of guest telling me how amazing the cake was!

They were very easy to work with and I was impressed that I meant with them months before the wedding to tell them what I wanted my cake to look like, I had no picture to give them. And when I saw the cake on my wedding it looked exactly how I pictured it! So happy with them! And would use them again!

Peace of Cake - what else can we say? They are incredible! Their food is outstanding, their service is impeccable, and their attention to detail is above and beyond. We met with them a few weeks before our wedding and described our vision for a "dessert table" to include cakes, pies, cookies, and tarts. What they made for us would make your eyes pop...their desserts were spectacular looking and tasted even better. I asked for Redskin cookies and "something from Penn State" (to surprise my new husband), and what they made almost brought me to tears. The Redskin cookies had Redskin logos, our initials, and all sorts of unexpected touches. And the Penn State cookies? Well, those went beyond my imagination! They were amazing, our guests loved them, and my new husband was thrilled. It was so evident that the staff at Peace of Cake cared about our (relatively small) order and worked hard to exceed our expectations. In doing so, they guaranteed us a customers for life! I will NEVER use another bakery for any event, large or small. They are stuck with us :)

All I can say is WOW. Not only was the price right, but the cupcakes and mini pies we had in addition to our wedding cake were DELICIOUS and PERFECT! Kim is a rockstar. Peace of Cake made my wedding cake this past June. They were a joy to work with, and my husband and I will continue to use them for any future celebrations. Our cake was a delicious white cake with vanilla butter cream and fresh strawberries. It was gorgeous and looked exactly how I wanted it. One of the first things my husband said to me after our ceremony was " wait until you see your cake!" It was perfect and I couldn't have asked for anything more. Peace of Cake was amazing! I was looking for an affordable bakery for my wedding cake and I was pleasantly surprised when I was given the estimate. I had 2 tiers of cake with an extra anniversary tier, with the rest cupcakes and it all came out less than I had budgeted. The tasting was amazing and more than I expected and everything was so wonderful it was hard to choose flavors and fillings! I'm really not a big cake person and let's face it- people are not there for the cake and really don't expect too much, but it was truly amazing. We received so many compliments on our cake- numerous people said it was the best they've ever had! I wanted wraps for the cupcakes, and Kim not only made suggestions on where to get them from, I brought them in ahead of time and she put them on for us! The cupcakes looked beautiful with the rose icing design that I requested and everyone was so impressed. I am so glad I found this place-I will stop by every time I'm visiting from out of state!

Peace of Cake delivered a cake that was both beautiful and delicious. Our guests particularly loved the cupcakes, and the varying cake-to-cupcake ratios managed to make everyone happy. Amazing! Best cake I have ever had! Peace of Cake was an absolute pleasure to work with, so friendly and professional. Their work is delicious and beautiful at the same time. You could not ask for a better quality and the price was very affordable. I had a three tiered cake, each layer a different and amazing flavor. We had a hard time finding a bakery that didn't overprice their cakes. We wanted a very small cute cake that was 6" bottom and 4" top with just a basic textured look. Other places wanted over $150 for just a small cake which seemed ridiculous for the size we wanted. The price Peace of Cake gave us was amazing and we booked with them immediately. I was able to even swing by to grab a slice of cake for tasting. We had vanilla cake with strawberry cream and real strawberries inside and it was amazing! The cake was incredibly good and for the price we paid, it felt like a steal! Do not be fooled by their pricing, their cakes are high quality with amazing customer service to boot. I will defiantly be back if I am in need of a cake for any occasion! We can't wait to have the cake topper for our 1 year anniversary next May. That will be the real test, I am sure it will taste just as amazing!

We had a small two tier cake made for our wedding. We saved the top tier for our first anniversary and cut the second tier on our big day. Our cake turned out beautifully and tasted delicious! The cake samples they give you are large and very tasty. The staff at the bakery was very warm and welcoming, too!

Peace of Cake was amazing to work with for our wedding. My husband and I were not looking to spend a fortune on our wedding cake--but wanted something delicious. When we visited Peace of Cake we were blown away at their reasonable prices, and their delicious combinations of flavors. We were expecting to just receive one cake flavor with only icing on top for the price we wanted to pay, but Peace of Cake offered us so much more! On a three tier cake, we picked three different flavors of cake with filling and icing. The chocolate chip cake with a white chocolate truffle icing was our favorite, and after we booked Peace of Cake (months before our wedding) my husband was saying that he couldn't wait to have the cake again! I would definitely recommend Peace of Cake to any bride.

I am not a fan of cake - at all. My aunt used this company for my birthday cake and I was IMPRESSED. The cake was absolutely delicious and I was very pleased. The presentation was also very beautiful. They are willing to work with you and do the design that you want so the cake is everything you hope it will be. I wanted to ask my bridal party to be in my wedding in a creative way so I contacted Peace of Cake. They made me cupcakes to resemble the attire they would be wearing! I had a wedding dress, tuxedo, suspenders and a bow-tie, and 6 beautiful bridesmaids gowns with pearls! I placed a sign in each one asking for them to stand beside me! They were a HUGE hit and all of them said YES!!!!!!! They were so sweet and delicious. I was amazed by how they made my vision come to life. My daughter's wedding cake and desserts were done by Peace of Cake. I must say everything tasted so wonderful, the biggest problem our guests had was deciding which cupcake, piece of cake or other dessert to try, of course, they had to try most, if not all of them. The cake table looked stunning and was a wonderful eye catching piece to her wedding reception because of the lovely display they created with their desserts. The staff at Peace of Cake was so helpful, professional and friendly we would recommend them to anyone having a wedding or any type of event that dessert is needed.

We had a dessert table for our wedding, but still wanted a small cake for my husband and I to cut and save for the tradition to enjoy on our anniversary. Peace of Cake was so easy to work with and provided the perfect 8" red velvet cake with simple icing and a 'beaded' edge that was exactly what we wanted. I am not a fan of cake, but my cake was absolutely delicious and beautiful. The icing is not too sweet and the cake is just right. I had a 2-tiered cake with 130 cupcakes in different flavors. All were outstanding. The ladies are very nice and laid back. You cannot beat the price and I love that it's a small town bakery, right near our home and venue. The cake was gorgeous and just what I had imagined. They set it up for me at the venue and it is exactly what I had imagined. I plan on using Peace of Cake for years to come!

Peace of Cake provided a whole display for my wedding to include cupcakes, cookies, mini fruit tarts, mini cheesecakes, tuxedo strawberries, and a small cake for us to cut. My husband and I were married on 9.12.14 and we hired Peace of Cake to make 200 cupcakes. The cupcakes were AMAZEBALLS and delicious. They looked gorgeous and tasted even better. In fact, guests were giving me a hard time because they wanted to dig into the cupcakes before we even cut the cake because they looked and smelled so good. Oh my GOD, the desserts from this bakery are AMAZING!! Neither my fiancé nor I really like cake, so we decided to do a dessert table at our wedding with pies, cookies, and well ok a couple cakes but they were cheesecakes. I think the quality and price were definitely fair, and they were very easy to work with when placing our order. We cut the cakes and pies into somewhat smaller slices anticipating that our guests would want to try multiple desserts. Let me just give you a ru down on the desserts we ordered:

Cookies - snicker doodle, ginger, red velvet and chocolate chip. They were all fabulous, delicious, a softer cookie. We also bought a number of crab shaped frosted sugar cookies for our welcome bags. They were so cute, and the perfect late night snack for our guests staying in hotels in the area.

Cheesecakes - pumpkin and white chocolate raspberry. *que the heavenly angel voices here* surprisingly not that heavy for cheesecake. Flavor was amazing.

Pies - Apple, blueberry, apple strudel. I assume these were tasty because there wasn't a slice left of ANY of these!

Speciality cakes - chocolate peanut butter mousse, carrot cake. Carrot cake was REALLY good. Frosting excellent, cake not too spicy, not too heavy not too light. Chocolate peanut butter cake.... Do I really need to review this cake or does everyone just acknowledge it sounds amazing and therefore probably was...? Because it WAS.... I have a peanut butter addiction. This cake was perfect amount of peanut butter and chocolate without making me feel uncomfortably full after eating it. And the chocolate graham cracker crust.....uuuuhhhhhhhhhh I'm reliving the nirvana now :)

To summarize, I will order desserts from this shop again and would recommend to anyone without a moments hesitation. They were incredibly easy to communicate with, and we had absolutely no problems. LOVE THESE GUYS AND GALS!!!

We love Peace of Cake! Ours was a lemon poppyseed cake with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream icing and we also had a strawberry filled vanilla buttercream cake. Both were light and fluffy and fresh and perfect for a summer wedding. Kim Cate was patient with us and dropped the cake off at the venue. I literally shopped around 10 bakeries before finding this little gem! The quality of my cake was AMAZING and it taste soooo good! They were so easy to work with, and captured the cake exactly how I wanted it. They are also reasonably priced which was a huge factor for me since weddings get expensive so quick!! Peace of cake is the best bakery on the shore. They do beautiful work and it is delicious. The ladies at the bakery helped me through every step. They knew how much cake I would need for the amount of people, they had wonderful decorating ideas, and the flavor combinations they have are great. I would not have even considered another bakery. I loved my cake and so many guests complimented it. If you're getting married on the shore this is the place to go. They also recommended my DJ (Chris Startt) and he was wonderful.

I was going to make my own cake (crazy I know but I was on serious budget) but I scheduled a tasting anyway because my parents were in town and I just wanted to have them be part of some kind of wedding planning. Well, when I walked in to the shop, they had the prettiest, most elegant cake on display and I knew I wanted one just like it. It was much more budget friendly than any bakery in Annapolis which was a great suprise. Then, about two weeks before the wedding my fiance expressed some disappointment when I told the wedding coordinator there would be no grooms cake (he's from Alabama). So while dropping off a swatch for the flower color, I asked the owner if there was a way to make a batmobile grooms cake. I knew this was asking A LOT and I repeatedly said, "if the answer is no just tell me no!". She refused to say no, she was so sweet. The day before the wedding on the phone she said she had the cake!!! It was amazing!! Love this bakery, and the cake was soooo delicious, even a week later when we got back from our honeymoon!

absolutely perfect! We wanted to do a traditional wedding cake as well as a grooms cake but were worried about the price. Mom had set a budget and we were able to get both cakes and still come under budget. Both cakes were very yummy!!

The staff at Peace of Cake really took my vision to the next level for my wedding! I wanted a dessert bar with an assortment of cupcakes, fruit tarts, and chocolate covered strawberries. First of all the presentation of all the desserts were beautiful and very professional, and the tuxedo design on the chocolate covered strawberries was a wonderful touch. Then taking a bite into the desserts was a party in your mouth with the icing being light and fluffy and the cake part being so moist. Its hard to find a cupcake that has presentation and taste, but Peace of Cake knows how to have both! I will use them going forward with all different special events we have in our lives!

Kimmie and her staff are sooo sweet - especially their desserts.
They have a bakery with tons of goodies and couldn't help but to book them so they could make some desserts for my wedding! Thank you for those delicious desserts!!!

This is a family owned bakery with the best cakes I have ever tasted. We arranged a meeting with this bakery for a cake tasting- for this tasting go hungry because their sample sizes are no joke! They have a list of any type of cake you could imagine combined with your choice of filling (strawberry, buttercream, lemon, mousse, etc.), and your choice of outside frosting. The list also includes the most popular selections, so we started with those for our tasting. Well just out of the four most popular sellers we had a hard time picking which combination we liked best- they were all so good!! We end up selecting one layer of white cake with white butter cream frosting with a strawberry filling (very delightful summertime cake) and two layer of chocolate chip cake with white chocolate buttercream filling and frosting. Needless to say, there was no left over cake at my wedding. In addition, Peace of Cake was very helpful in helping me design a cake to match my wedding theme. I had a seashell theme, so not only did the cake match my wedding colors, but it also was decorated with white chocolate seashells (which were also delicious!). To top it off, sprinkled graham cracker crumbs around the cake to look like sand and drew a heart in the "sand" with my husband and my initials in it. I would recommend this vendor to anyone who wants an over the top cake in taste and design and easy/friendly people to work with.

My husband and I knew what we wanted even before we walked into the bakery - we had tried a sample of their cake at an open house. They were very easy to work with, very friendly - we tried some yummy samples, but stayed with the vanilla, fresh strawberry-filled buttercream cake. We also showed pictures of a few ideas we had in mind, and were assured they could create a similar look for our cake. I thought the prices were reasonable and they are able to make extra sheet cakes to cut costs if needed. On the day of the wedding, our cake looked exactly how I wanted it and tasted delicious! My mom also had a groom's cake made, which turned out super cute and delicious as well! I will use Peace of Cake again!

We got many cakes throughout the whole wedding process from Peace of Cake. They made the cake for my bridal shower, which had an adorable picture on the front on my fiance and I running a race and crossing a finish line (I'm a runner). That cake was delicious although I forget the flavor (maybe just yellow cake and chocolate filling). We also got our rehearsal dinner cake there and I went in knowing that my groom wanted a spice cake but we weren't sure on a filling flavor. They recommended raspberry preserves, which might sound like an odd combo, but it turned out to be delicious. That cake was also decorated beautifully, with just raspberries and chocolate. It was simply done but really pretty. Finally, we got our wedding cake there, which was made of three tiers. Two were yellow/white cake with strawberries and cream filling and the other was carrot cake with cream cheese filling. We provided ribbon and had a very simple again, yet pretty, design to the cake and we also used natural flowers which Peace of Cake decorated with when they got to the reception venue. Another nice thing they do is provide a 1st anniversary layer that is separate from the rest of the cake, so it was ready to go straight into the freezer and we didn't have to think about saving/wrapping anything extra.

Peace of Cake made my husband's groom cake, a birthday cake for his father (which happened to coincide with our rehearsal dinner), and a gluten-free dessert for a few of our gluten-intolerant wedding guests. I should begin by saying that we would have paid triple the price we were charged for the quality of desserts we received. For the groom's cake, Kim created a custom and very complex University of Florida cake (with a 3-D helmet) that was amazing. No one at the rehearsal thought it was actually made of cake until we started slicing into it. The birthday cake for my father-in-law was a chocolately concoction and received rave reviews. We also heard that the gluten free dessert was very good. The level of service and attention to detail we received from Peace of Cake, and Kim in particular, was simply amazing.

We had starfish cookie party favors from Peace of Cake and they turned out great! Peace of Cake was so easy to work with and the cookies were delicious! I wish I had gone with them for our wedding cake, but I am so glad we chose to have cookie party favors...they were so pretty and the price wasn't too bad.

Peace of Cake is the BEST bakery around! My family and I have order over 20 cakes and deserts from them, from wedding cakes, bridal shower cakes, baby shower cakes, birthday cakes, anniversary cakes and even cookies! They blow up away every time. I have yet to find another bakery that can come anywhere close to matching them. The cakes are moist and they have so many amazing flavors to choose from. I love how Kim and her team have great imaginations and can make anything you can think of look amazing on a cake! When I booked them to design my wedding cake, I knew it would look good, but I didn't know it would look as good as it did. For a bride that didn't know exactly what she wanted or how she wanted it to look, Kim threw some ideas out there and the finish product looked awesome. I had so many guests ask who I had make my cake that not only did it look great, it tasted great!! I would definitely recommend them to anyone and I know I will always go to them to design any cake or desert I have made :) Thank you so much Kim and staff for making my wedding day even more amazing with the way you designed and displayed my cake!!

We had cupcakes instead of a traditional wedding cake. Peace of Cake was terrific. Provided cupcakes for tasting and was able to make exactly what I wanted in the colors/flavors that I wanted. Cupcakes were used as part of table centerpieces and they looked and tasted terrific. Would highly recommend them.

Kim at Peace of Cake in Stevensville, MD. made the cakes for the Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding and Groom's Cake. The Rehearsal Dinner cake was shaped as a bushel of crabs. AMAZING. She has a picture on her website. She made the most beautiful cake for my wedding. The detail was perfect. The cake was a yellow cake with a lemon curd and raspberry filling. DELICIOUS!! The groom's cake - a replica of my husband's fishing boat. Kim is very talented and great to work with. I highly recommend Peace of Cake.

Our experience with Peace of Cake was nothing short of excellent from start to finish. At the tasting, Kim took the time to explain all of our flavor and design options with great patience. She worked with us to design a cake that fit our personalities. We were impressed with the unique flavor choices the company offered and the cake at the tasting was very good. We (and our guests) were blown away on wedding day at the beauty of the cake. Once served, our guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious the cake was with many of them noting that is was the best wedding cake they have ever had. My husband and I agree! It was even better on wedding day than it was at the tasting. I would recommend Peace of Cake to anyone looking to serve the most unique and delicious cake options for a wedding cake that your guests will remember!

Our cake turned out better than we expected! They do amazing work and are really nice people to work with. Had no issues and no complaints! Nothing but complements on my cake! It was even good a couple weeks later! My mother stashed some extra cake in our fridge for when we got back from the honeymoon.

Peace of Cake did a great job on my cake. It was so beautiful, I just tear up every time I see it. I changed my vision mid stream and they had no problem with it and exceeded my expectaions with a beautiful and delicious cake. Their prices were also great!!!

We had both a wedding cake and a groom's cake....both were great! The staff was very creative and helped for our vision to come alive. I only had a tiny bit of the cake because when I went to go get a piece, it was all gone....but I heard it was amazing!

The Most Delicious Cake in the world. I am a carrot cake lover - this was by far the most wonderful carrot cake ever! It says something about the cake when you buy more than required and all you have left is the top layer! I am still getting emails to see if I have an extra piece left.

The cake was so delicious! We had carrot cake as well as chocolate truffle cake and both tasted great! The tasting was free and the price of the cake was reasonable. Kim was easy to work with and allowed me to make a last minute icing flavor change. The cake looked beautiful and was set up outside in a covered pavilion; however, it started leaning and the wedding coordinator was afraid it was going to fall, so we had to move it inside. Overall, I am very happy with Peace of Cake's services!
