Oh My Gosh!!!

PJ did both a groom’s cake for us and our wedding cake. Both were AMAZING! The groom’s cake was beyond words. The groom was a former Marine. You
must look at the photo to appreciate it! The “inside” was chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling.
The wedding cake had 2 layers,, pink champagne cake with vanilla buttercream and vanilla cake with Bavarian buttercream and fresh sliced strawberries! To die for!!! You won’t be disappointed if PJ does your cakes!

Delicious and Beautiful

Fabulous. One option for cake from those contracted with our reception site and decided to Paula after some help deciding from my wedding planner. The now husband does NOT like cake so I was very concerned before the tasting what was going to happen. Turns out, David now likes cake, a lot! The tasting was so delicious, especially the white cake with Bavarian cream and fresh strawberries (what won my guy over:) ). The physical cake on the day blew everyone away! It was massive and gorgeous, with all of the details Paula sketched out for us at the tasting just coming to life. I could look at the cake photos all day. It was just as tasty as it was gorgeous, everyone there was raving about the 2 different flavors, which were the Bavarian cream with fresh strawberries and red velvet and buttercream. So moist, flavorful, and decadent. I’m so happy with Paula, the cake, and the process from start to finish.

Amazing cake, to see and taste

PJ provided the cake for our wedding in November 2019. We received so many compliments on how wonderful the cake tasted and how great it looked. JP was open to our non-traditional style and created a cake that looked perfect and tasted awesome. She was very fun to work with and made us feel very comfortable when we met with her. PJ prepared several different flavors for us to taste and it was a very hard decision to make because everything we tasted was so great. From the fun-fetti, salted caramel, and chocolate ganache to the beautiful design, everything was perfect.

PJ is amazing!

This review is long overdue. I got married in Scottsdale in October from out of town. PJ was always flexible for the tastings. Her desserts were beautiful and delicious. Everyone said it was the best tasting wedding cake they've ever had. I wish I could have that dessert table again.

Phenomenal Wedding Cake!

Absolutely phenomenal! We went to PJ for our wedding cake and wanted something fun to stand out. She made us a multi-layer topsy-turvy floral cake that wowed us and our guests. We're so thankful to have found PJ and been able to use her for our special day!

Paula Jacqueline Cakes has always taken amazing care of our baked good needs, and we always get high compliments on her creations. She made our engagement party cake, iced sugar cookie gifts for our bridal party, our wedding cake, and has done birthday cakes and such since then. All of them were perfect. PJ makes sure to ask about every detail so that she can make your vision a reality, and everything we've ever eaten of hers has been simply divine (and taste is just as important, if not more important than presentation is in our books). Highly recommend.

PJ was our cake vendor that we used at the Montelucia Resort recently. We had a choice between PJ and a couple of other vendors. PJ is the nicest person ever. She let us do two tastings because we were a little unsure about the flavors we wanted. She came up with creative ideas for the design and the flavors. In the end, I sent her a picture of a cake I saw in a magazine and oh my goodness, she made the cake look even better than the one in the magazine. My cake was sooooooo amazing both in looks and taste. I will never forget my lovely cake - it was one of the best parts of the wedding. She really went above and beyond. Thank you, PJ!!!

Our cake was so yummy and gorgeous to top it off, we worked with PJ through our venue as she was the cake vendor as part of our contract. We were so lucky to have her as a vendor, everyone loved our cake! Communication was a little tricky at the beginning but once we made contact she was very responsive. I also had PJ make a secret UCLA groom's cake for my husband, it was exactly what I had pictured. He loved it, both the way it looked and how it tasted! Her flavors are all fresh and bright and just the right amount of sweet. I would absolutely order another cake from PJ!

Awesome cake!! The cake and cupcake we ordered looked amazing and tasted awesome. PJ was extremely accommodating to work around food allergy issue with gluten, soy, egg and dairy. The taste was incredible, the guests could not tell these desserts did not have gluten, soy, egg or dairy in them. PJ is very professional and will definitely work with you to get the end result you are after. Highly recommended!!

PJ is fabulous - her cakes are delicious, moist, the icing is perfect and her designs are wonderful! We had a great time at the cake tasting and gave her an idea of how we wanted the cake decorated. She took our vision and made the cake a reality!!

PJ (La Dulce Pesca) was spectacular and the cake was truly rave-worthy. We continued to hear compliments about the cake for weeks after the reception, and it was truly worthwhile. PJ was able to provide our exact vision of the cake with only one consultation visit. We went with the Strawberry Champagne with fresh strawberries, and Vanilla cake with cannoli filling for my wife's very Italian family. Both flavors were absolutely incredible. I would highly recommend Paula Jacqueline for your cake, it was moist and flavorful, and will definitely be as much of a hit for you as it was for us.

PJ did a wonderful job with our wedding cake, it was exactly what we discussed with her. The two flavors we picked, were pink champagne and chocolate and they were a huge hit. Our guests were in heaven and said it was some of the best cake they'd ever had. I also had PJ make a grooms cake (vanilla with Bavarian cream and strawberries) with the Denver Broncos logo on it. It was perfect and my husband loved it. If you want a cake that tastes fantastic with the sweetest butter cream frosting, definitely give PJ a call. I can't wait to taste it again on our 1 year anniversary. Thanks again!

From the first time we met PJ, the owner, we felt comfortable. We'd done other cake tasting and were very overwhelmed with the choices and underwhelmed with quality. We loved every flavor she served us and ended up choosing three of the four flavors she initially had us taste. I didn't have a specific idea of design, but I found something beautiful I could use fresh flowers with. It turned out beautiful! Everyone at the wedding (including our coordinator at the venue) told me it was the best wedding cake they'd tasted and our venue is going to contact her to be on their preferred list. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

Seriously, a cake could not be better tasting and more astonishingly beautiful than the cake that La Dolce Pesca created for my wedding. PJ (owner) captured every detail so perfectly- It was more beautiful than I could have imagined and brought tears to my eyes when I saw it !! PJ also made custom cactus decorated sugar cookies for my out of town guests which were so perfect and absolutely delicious! I would definately recommend La Dolce Pesca and plan to find every excuse to continue to work with PJ for every occasion in the future!!

When my fiance and I met with PJ, our two adult sons wanted to go with us. They were thinking, 'free cake.' My fiance's son was adamant that he absolutely did NOT want any kind of 'fruity stuff' in the cake. My son just wanted chocolate. (Although they sound like kids, they really are adults!) We tried three kinds of cake and even the boys LOVED it! They raved about the flavors and textures and even liked the fruit. We chose alternating layers of chocolate with chocolate cream filling and vanilla with fruit filling-and both flavors were moist and delicious. The design was beautiful with multicolors of blue fondant fading from cobalt blue on the bottom to almost white at the top. All of my friends and family raved about the look and the flavor of our cake. PJ is very talented and was great to work with. I encourage everyone to use her!

PJ was so much fun to work with!! our cake was hands down the best tasting cake i have ever had! we did the delicious champagne pink cake with white chocolate filling and a totally awesome chocolate with Oreo cake that blew my socks off!! i only wish i would have had the banquet staff save my honey and i a few pieces to enjoy later....:) i would recommend PJ to anyone who is ready for the fresh moist yummiest cake ever and bid farewell to the same old blah wedding cake they are used to!

PJ is my sister but I can honestly say that she really makes the best tasting cakes I've had in the Valley. Her flavor combinations always come together so well that you can't go wrong. In addition, she is an artist. Her cakes are beatuful. For my wedding she made a beautiful 3 tier white cake with beatiful purple flowers. It was perfection and tasted absolutely delicous. The guests all loved the cake and the pictures of it look to be straight from a wedding magazine! Thank you la dolce pesca!

My design for the cake was pretty simple, so I wasn't worried about any baker having trouble with the simple, elegant look I was going for. Instead, we spent a lot of time visiting bakeries as the "taste" of the cake was very important to us. PJ was not only able to accommodate our requests, which included flavors not listed on her website menu (Tiramisu and Chocolate Kahlua), but she was reasonably priced (more cake per square inch as her cake tiers are thicker and she counts each person's slice bigger than other bakeries) and by far the best tasting cake we tried in the whole area. The cake turned out beautifully and tasted amazing! It was the real star of our reception. I can't wait to order one for our first year anniversary!

La Dolce Pesca, offers the whole package when it comes to wedding cakes….great service, affordable, delicious tasting and gorgeous too. I was a picky bride and very demanding - PJ worked patiently with me making sure all my requests were honored.
When my cake made its first appearance on my wedding day it was an instant star. Not only did it look exactly how I envisioned it, but it was so yummy. I can't tell you how many compliments I got. Thanks PJ!!! I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

PJ was amazing! Our cake was huge (5 tiers) and the taste was not compromised for the size. We loved it! I also hired PJ to bake a number of our favors, which were desserts from different cultures - her cupcakes, cookies and mini apple tarts were delicious. Thanks PJ!

PJ was amazing to work with! I tried many cake bakers and hers were the best tasting by far!!! I changed my mind about a dozen times and she was so patient. The day of my cake looked exactly as I had imagined it and it tasted amazing! I am still getting compliments on it.

PJ was amazing. We went into the appointment with our colors and a few ideas, and she took what we said and ran with it. We didn't really know what we were looking for except we knew we wanted cupcakes. PJ suggested we have a two tier to cut into and we are so glad she did! The cake and cupcakes matched our decor prefectly, modern with cut out circles and squares in black and red. We had three different flavors: lemon with lemon mousse, chocolate with chocolate mousse and, my personal favorite, pink champagne with white chocolate mousse! All of our guests said their cupcake was the best thing they had ever had, regardless of what flavor they chose - I believe there was actually arguing on which was better! Make sure you get more than just the first bite as a couple!

The owner of La Dolce Pesca was amazing. She designed a stunning cake for our wedding. It was brilliant. She even recreated the top layer for us on our anniversary. The cake was moist and flavorful. It was a white cake with bavarian cream and strawberries. It had buttercream frosting and was accented with fondant ribbons and orchids. I like cake in general, but this was the best cake EVER!

With such an impressive portfolio and fantastic word of mouth reviews, my husband and I chose La Dolce Pesca without any other tastings or comparison shopping. The owner, PJ, was very accommodating and our tasting appointment was booked around our busy schedule. At the tasting PJ presented us with four cake flavors and after devouring each piece, we wanted all four in alternating tiers! I showed her my Martha Stewart Weddings inspired cake design that included detailed damask print and multiple square tiers. She worked with me to create a beautiful color combination to suit my wedding style and design. On the day of the wedding PJ was right on time, professional and showcased her creativity! Our florist created an awful, extravagant floral topper that did not suit our beautiful cake. PJ took the topper apart, pulled from another bouquet and created the perfect finishing touch. The cake was amazing in every single way. It looked better than I pictured and tasted delicious. I recommend La Dolce Pesca to everyone for weddings, showers, parties, birthdays or just a sweet something special!

PJ was great. She was very flexible, brought tons of pictures for us to choose from, brought delicious samples, and made our experience wonderful. The day of the wedding when I looked at my cake I was blown away. It was absolutely breathtaking. I loved it and it tasted delightful! I also changed one of my flavors a few weeks before and she didn't bat an eye. She was very flexible!!! She is extremely talented!

Our wedding cake from La Dolce Pesca was not only beautiful it was delicious too! I heard nothing but compliments on the cake and PJ was very easy to work with. My husband and I ate our wedding cake top after returning from our honeymoon because it was so good! Plus, PJ offered to make us a small cake for our one year anniversary!

1-4-10 Update: Our anniversary cake was beautiful & DELICIOUS (& free I might add)! Wow. I can honestly say that we've never had such a moist & tasty cake before. I don't think I was in the state of mind on my wedding day to truly enjoy the cake because, oh my gosh, PJ's cakes are so so good. We practically sat in silence for ten minutes as we enjoyed every bite. Yum.

The lady I worked with was so sweet and the cake was delicious. Just make sure if you book her she is really clear on what you want. My cake design was very different from the picture I showed her so just make sure you are clear on exactly what you want. It still tasted good but looked like a cake made for a kid's birthday party.

I can not say enough about how awesome this was. The cake (and cupcakes) were BEAUTIFUL and delicious and she did it so last minute. Like two weeks. SHE RULES!

We had two flavors of cake for our wedding cake, vanilla with lemon raspberry buttercream and pink champagne with white chocolate buttercream, both overwhelmingly delicious. I had guests contacting me about the cake for the next few days. I was very specific about the colors I wanted; blush pink, bronze and ivory. All of those exact colors were on my cake. It looked beautiful. When we met with PJ we tried five flavors and all her flavors were amazing. I am not normally a fan of red velvet because it's overdone and all tastes the same in my opinion but hers was so good I almost had it in my wedding cake. But we had to go with the pink champagne because you will not find that flavor anywhere else and it's so good. My now husband is a huge chocolate fan and said her chocolate cake was the best he ever had. I'm not a fan of chocolate for wedding cakes but I did use chocolate for his surprise grooms cake. I emailed PJ immediately after our meeting about what I wanted for his grooms cake and I was so happy with the finished product. She had to design everything with only my email descriptions and a few pictures I sent her and it looked amazing. He was so happy to have that cake. We can't wait for our one year anniversary top layer.

I was absolutely stunned when I saw my wedding cake during our reception. It was even prettier than I had imagined. PJ did an amazing job and added very beautiful and intricate flowers made out of icing to perfectly match my bouquet. The cake was absolutely amazing, and tasted just as good as it looked! PJ made a gluten free tier for me so I was actually able to have my cake and eat it too, and my Groom and many guests told us how fabulous the pink champagne and the vanilla layers of the cake tasted. PJ did a phenomenal job, and it turned out even more beautiful than I had ever imagined. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding cake!

PJ was wonderful when we had to change our cake vendor at the last minute. She went over exactly what we wanted and told us she could do it with no issues. Her cake tastes AMAZING!! We did red velvet with cream cheese and pink champagne with lemon. When she showed up the day of and we say the cake it was exactly what we imagined. There is literally nothing that we would have changed and we could not be happier! :)

"This cake is better than S#$!" Said one guest... "This cake is like a party in my mouth!" Said another... and "I have never had wedding cake I've really liked, much less wanting a second piece!" Said one male guest.... and the rave reviews went on and on... From the moment the cake was served, the surprised reactions and comments were most exciting to watch! This wedding cake was by far, leaps and bounds above, hands-down the absolute best wedding cake I've ever tasted... and I've been to a lot of weddings!
After my daughter and I tasted several other cakes in our cake tasting process, La Dolce Pesca's tasting was our last and we were hoping for something better than the previous 'famed' wedding cake bakers' cakes we tasted... and with our first taste we knew we found our wedding cake baker... PJ, owner of La Dolce Pesca, had us with our first taste! My daughter and I just looked at each other, savoring that first bite of her white chocolate mousse frosting in between the layers of the moistest pink champagne cake... and we knew this was our cake! None of the others even came close... so trust me when I second what all the wedding guests were saying, this is absolutely the best wedding cake you will ever have!

My sister and I had a double wedding last year and La Dolce Pesca created two AMAZING mirrored cakes! They are not only GORGEOUS but also delicious! They had huge bows on them with sparkly pendants in the middle of the bows. One cake had a red bow and the other have a brown bow... they looked amazing sitting next to each other on the cake table. The guests all raved about the flavors as well. Each cake had two flavors and they were so yummy! Thank you La Dolce Pesca! :)

PJ was great! Our cake was so delicious! We had a three layer cake and chose two different cake flavors with buttercream frosting. We got to choose from a few different vendors for our wedding package and we are so happy we chose La Dolce Pesca. We knew right away to go with her since her cake was so moist and the buttercream frosting was amazing. She has lots to choose from and will work with any type of design you are looking for. I am already looking forward to our year anniversary when she'll make us a new top tier instead of a year old freezerburnt one!

Youve never had a good, quality cake or cupcake until youve tried one from PJ of La Dolce Pesca. Perhaps the most looked-forward to event in the wedding planning process is the cake testing. For me, it was just another meeting to mark off of my to-do list and minor decision I had to make not being a huge fan of cake or cupcakes in the past. But after my experience with PJ and her amazing skill, I am surely a big fan now. More often than not you hear of wedding cakes being dry or tasteless, that one food item that guests will likely turn down or just eat a forkful of and be done. However, to my husbands, our guests, and my amazement, our cupcake tower (in lieu of a traditional wedding cake) was one of the highlights of the evening! With the cupcake idea we were able to pick an assortment of flavors, we chose two. The pink champagne cupcakes had perfectly matched icing, not so sweet that it overpowered the taste of the cupcake, but instead complemented the flavor perfectly. Trying to stick with a winter/holiday taste palette, the spice cake cupcakes that PJ suggested were excellent. The icing with these mellowed out the spice flavor just enough to create a delectable balance of sugar and zest. Moist and delicious, those cupcakes had our guests going back for more and more! My husband and I are still asked where those cupcakes can be foundsix months after our wedding! That alone speaks volumes. PJ is extremely accommodating when it comes to working with couples - working within our budget was never an issue, taking our taste preferences into consideration was a must for her, and thinking outside of the box when it came to decorating was exactly what we wanted. Each cupcake was topped with edible arrangements of snowflakes and curly willow-like strands each hand crafted by PJ that fit our winter theme amazingly well. If youre aim is to have your guests enjoy the entire wedding experience youve spent so much time planning, La Dolce Pesca would be the perfect auvoir for the evening. With each anniversary my husband and I have, I will definitely be going back to PJ to recreate her tasty mini masterpieces

A notable experience with La Dolce Pesca couples are able to pick which cake flavor they would like to pair with which icing or filling, and there are several to choose from. Many may be more familiar with bakeries that have predetermined selections (white cake with vanilla or chocolate icing; strawberry filling with only chocolate cake, etc.). La Dolce Pesca allows you to customize a selection to fit your unique preferences. The possibilities are endless, but with the helpful suggestions from PJ the experience is never overwhelming.

PJ did a great job with our cake, it turned out exactly how we wanted it. One of the things that I like about her bakery is that they will make you a mini cake on your one year aniversary so you don't have to freeze the top layer.

We were married July 6, 2013 and our cake was made by La Dolce Pesca. My husband is a cake and cupcake fanatic and I’m very picky about my buttercream, so it goes without saying that we were hard to please when it came to a wedding cake. We tasted so many cakes at other places and nothing was as delicious as the cake and frosting from La Dolce Pesca. We were lucky enough to order our cake from La Dolce Pesca and PJ, the owner, met with us to taste cake and discuss flavors and appearance. One thing is she doesn't respond to emails quickly but the patience is worth it because the cake is awesome and her designs are great.

PJ was extremely helpful during the cake process. It was the BEST tasting cake I have ever had. I got plain yellow cake with plain vanilla buttercream frosting... but it was delicious! I've been craving it ever since! She made 4 vegan cupcakes for my vegan guests, and they loved those as well! I would recommend La Dolce Pesca to ANYONE and EVERYONE!

PJ made us the most fantastic wedding cake of all time. When we went in to meet with her I told her I wanted a "Topsy-Turvy cake that defined the laws of physics. She MORE THAN delivered! The cake that PJ created for our wedding was gorgeous and absolutely delicious! We met with several other bakers and no one was as professional or friendly as PJ. I was afraid that were we to choose the cake based on aesthetic appeal it wouldn't taste good or vise-versa, my fears were unfounded - the pictures are beautiful and everyone was raving about how scrumptious the cake was.
We could hardly wait for our anniversary to pick up the fresh cake PJ made for us so that we didn't have to freeze our top layer!
After our wedding I was able to call PJ to provide a cake for a friend's baby shower and again, she exceeded my expectations with the design of the cake as I had provided her with little input other than colors and a quote that I wanted her to incorporate. Overall I would highly recommend La Dolce Pesca for any bride-to-be!

La Dolce Pesca made an exquisite cake for my wedding.They where a pleasure to work with from the tasting and all the way through.Based on what i sampled from the tasting i went with a three tiered Vanilla cake filled with Butter cream.I loved the way it turned out.I was very beautifully designed and they set it up very nicely.It was even delivered to my home for a small fee.I highly recommend them for any kind of cake for your wedding.

Even though P.J. cancelled on us for our first tasting, which was a pain because we're from Minnesota and were planning a destination wedding, we couldn't have been happier with our wedding cake! We had a lot of fun going to her location and taste testing, she had such a cute setup and I love the picture we took by her cake mural on the wall in her shop! We were able to pick 2 different flavors, which was amazing for our guests, everyone was happy with what they got! We had pink champagne and chocolate, and we got so many compliments from our guests that they loved the cake! It was amazing! Even though we had to pick La Dolce Pesca because of an agreement with our venue, I would highly recommend going with them for your wedding! Yum!

We had 2 choices for our wedding cake, that was included in our reception package. The other vendor (Roberts) did not do fondant, so we were cornered into using PJ. I met her at the eat, drink & be married event that the resort hosts. she was totally unresponsive after 2 emails and 2 voicemails. I had to get the resort involved to get her to call me back. We met for our cake tasting and I was REALLY disappointed. She had 2 flavors for us to taste. Call me crazy, but I was ready to taste 8-10 flavors. So, we just went on a whim and picked something that sounded good based on her recommendation. I had a photo of exactly what i wanted, so there was no room for error based on communication. It turned out great though. It tasted great and she did a nice job of decorating it- even adjusting our cake topper to make it more balanced.

We used this vendor as they were provided through the hotel. Although the flavors and cake were delicious, I was disappointed in the colors that arrived. They were NOT what we had discussed. We had asked for peaches, pinks, white, mint. We knew that the chocolate would be brown obviously and were okay with that but the other colors were supposed to be springtime colors. I was very disappointed to see lots of dark brown and bright orange cupcakes. They were definitely fall colors and did not fit in with our color scheme at all. I wish they would have reached out to us a final time before making that decision.

When I booked PJ I was very excited because her cakes looked and tasted wonderful. Everything went smooth up until the day of my wedding. My cake was horrible it was nothing like any of her other cakes I had seen. You could see the cake through the frosting. The swiss dots and irredesant frosting I requested was not on the cake. The big bow that was supposed to flow down the side was only on the top tier. She ran out of pink fondant on one side and replaced it with a piece of real ribbon that did not match. It was so horrible I made the hotel staff cut it up and take it away as fast as they could so no one could see it. When I told PJ about it she admitted to me that she outsourced the cake due to personal issues. She did refund part of my money and offered to make me an anniversary cake but almost 2 years later and I am still upset about the disaster.

I provided a photo to this vendor of what I wanted my cake to look like. We ordered vanilla and chocolate inside with alternating layers inside each level of the cake. The cake was not the correct sizes at each layer the day of our wedding which meant that there was no room to put the flowers I had requested which was very disappointing. We ordered regular and gluten free cake from this vendor in the designated layers which was suppose to be constructed on site. The cake was already put together when it arrived and when the cake was cut and we tasted it, the gluten free vanilla was like dried up old nasty cornbread that had been left out on someones counter for a week and then they put it in my cake and frosted it:(! It was absolutely disgusting, not too mention embarrassing because I actually had people commenting on how bad it was! When I called PJ after the fact to discuss this with her she was apologetic and said she didn't know what happened to the cakes, but was willing to remake the top two layers to compensate for this issue. We did pick these up and when we tasted it to see if it was any better, the vanilla gluten free was much better but still not great and the chocolate was more like the vanilla was originally, dry dense and stale tasting. This is not a vendor I would ever consider using again.

I hated the cake. As I was getting photographed with my bridal party, I saw the lady walk by with my cake, and mentioned to my Maid of Honor, "I hope this is not my cake, that looks unfinished and it looks ugly". She agreed. I don't know what happened but the cake was horrible!!! The flowers looked like a 5 year old did them. The leaves didn't look real and the color was like a neon green, which didn't match the other colors. The cake didn't have as many flowers like I had showed her in a picture. The red flowers looked like they were smashed and didn't look finished. The fondant had cracks and wasn't smoothed out. It looked like the fondant was melting. There was also a lot of white powder left on the flowers, they weren't clean or wiped down. Furthermore, when we had to cut the cake, I was embarrassed and hoped no one noticed the ugly cake. When I saw my wedding pictures, the cake looked as ugly as I remembered it. You can even see all the poor work they did. I was extremely unhappy with the cake.

Our venue required us to use this bakery. PJ is one of the most disorganized people I've ever worked with. She is next to impossible to get a hold of, doesn't answer questions, and got our cake wrong. In the end it tasted ok and our guests weren't aware there was a problem, but in the baking world how do you mix up chocolate and vanilla?!?

Our cake turned out nothing like it was supposed to (it was pretty ugly). Like other reviews on here, ours looked like it was made by a 10 year old. We even had guests comment that it looked like our cake was made for someone else or that La Dolce Pesca forgot and put the cake together last minute. I e-mailed PJ after our wedding expressing our disappointment, and she never even e-mailed us back.

I do not recommend using La dolce pesca for your wedding. I should of known from the beggining when we scheduled an appt with her and she never showed!! We waited outside for 1hr and she never showed up. We called and called and she never called us back and never responded to our voicemails we had left her. We finally decided to call her from a diffrent # and she answered, We confronted her with the situation and said she had never recieved any messages or missed calls(how weird...). We ended up booking her for our wedding. The cake we choose was a 5 tier white cake with champagne colored designs and Bows. Instead we got a 3tier, orange colored mess!!!!!!!!!!!

We actually got married 2 years ago and La Dolce Pesca was the company provided to us through them. We were told we would get an anniversary cake because they only make enough cake for the number of guest attending, meaning there would be no extra for us to take home. I was already dissapointed about that. Then I call them up on my 1 year, and they said no problem, submit what kind of cake you want and the date you want it through our contact form online. I did this and never heard from them again. This contact was 2 weeks before our anniversary and I called, and called, left numerous messages and no one ever called me back. They make wonderful cake but this experience ruined my anniversary and any memory of the cake.

I chose La dolce Pesca to make a birthday cake for my mother's 60th surprise birthday party. I was very specific in my design and even paid her extra to help ensure that the cake was made special. The cake that she gave me was no better than a 10 year old's after school project. There were many details that were forgotten, the happy birthday message was one of them. There was holes in the fondant in several places, a really bad patch job, and exposed rice crispy treats that she used for detailing ( even though I ordered cake) and then the cake was served on a piece of cardboard. The cake's flavor was also dissapointing, most of it went uneaten at the party. I emailed the owner to discuss my dissappointment and so far, it has been two weeks and she has completely ignored me. I would definately not reccommend her to anyone for any occassion.
