    Great Experience, Highly Recommend!

    Paul came highly recommended to us from our wedding venue and we could not be happier with the result! He really knew the space and lighting well and was very personable and worked well with our wedding party and families. He also took our priorities for the day into account and adhered the timeline we had in place very well, maximizing the time we had. We’re so pleased with the quality of the photos and the memories we get to take away from the day because of them.

    Paul was our first choice in looking for a wedding photographer and recommended by a friend. We loved the whole process; from the engagement photos, to planning how our wedding day would go, to then watching a slideshow of our GORGEOUS wedding photos on his big-screen TV! He is very experienced and has a laid back, artistic flare. In fact, some of the more artistic photos (i.e. different angles and photo effects) were some of our favorite. It was a joy to work with him! When we're ready for family photos...there will only be one person to call - that's Paul!

    Paul was amazing to work with. He was patient, fun, and we had such great photos of our special day! It was worth every penny to have some shots of our engagement and wedding that will last us a lifetime.

    We had booked Paul for our engagement photo and for our wedding this past weekend and were so impressed with how fun and easy-going the picture process went. Our engagement photos were awesome, we had them done at Epic in Verona and with Paul's expertise they turned out amazing. With the engagement photos Paul made us a guest book for guests to sign! For the day of the wedding, we chose the premier package...Paul and Maria arrived early to get some shots of everyone getting ready and every small detail. Throughout the day Paul and Maria were amazing in capturing photos, they coordinated with all of the venue staff and were extremely fun while still remaining professional. We were so happy with how everything went and will be going through Paul for future photography sessions! Paul's packages have a lot of value because he includes additional products other than the photos such as the guest book, parent books, save-the-date magnets, a fusion show of our favorite photos and small video clips, and so much more (depending on the package)! We HIGHLY recommend Paul Toepfer Photography!!!

    Paul went out of his way, literally, for my wedding. He traveled to multiple places with us the whole time taking pictures. He was very flexible. I had a huge list of pictures that I wanted to be taken, and he took every one that we could in addition to his amazing ideas. He met with us multiple times before during and after our wedding so that he knew he had all of the details right. He didn't pick the pictures that he wanted us to have in OUR photo album. He let US pick what WE wanted because he knew that it was our memories. He was great! Thanks Paul!

    We chose Paul for his artistic perspective. He knows what looks good, and he was always there to capture those fleeting, precious moments. Throughout our engagement with him, he was responsive and open to our input. It was overcast on our wedding day, but his "seen-it-all" professionalism and reassuring presence allowed us to enjoy the day. Our canvas-covered album, which we received a few months after the day, looks absolutely gorgeous and received plenty of compliments. We highly recommend Paul.

    We had such a great experience with Paul! We purchased a wedding package that included engagement photos, wedding photos, a wedding book for us and 2 parent books and rights to the pictures. I appreciate that while he has offered to sell us photos there has been no pressure to do so. He listened to what type of pictures we wanted and had a great balance between posed pictures and non posed. We got so many complements on the photos! Paul was also very good about talking with us both before and during the wedding day about ways to help make the wedding day go smoothly and ways to get the best pictures possible.

    Paul was the absolute perfect photographer. We met with quite a few different photographers before we met with Paul. The moment we had our initial meeting with him we knew he would be our photographer almost right away. His charisma, understanding, and knowledge are profound. Any specifics we had he was certain to do and ensured that everything was even better than we had hoped for. Our package included the engagement session which turned out to be impeccable. Paul has a vision for how a photo will turn out that shocked us. The session was so much fun and the photos were exquisite. We also got the magnet Save the Dates which many of our family and friends still use because they are so impressed with how well they turned out. The planning and finalizing was very stress free. Paul had so much experience working with all of our vendors that it made it that much easier for us because he knew what to expect from each one. What's even better was that all of our vendors were excited to work with him. When it came to the wedding day we really enjoyed having Paul there the entire time. He was always there capturing each moment with us but never to the point where he seemed intrusive. Our guests even enjoyed talking with Paul and seeing his creativity as the day unfolded. And then the final product is completely awe inspiring. A couple of my coworkers are now saying that they regret having not gone with Paul for their weddings once they had seen our photos. I honestly can not think of one negative thing to say about Paul. He really helped to ensure that we can reflect and treasure each moment of our wedding day forever.

    Paul was the photographer for my husband's four siblings' weddings, so it was only natural that we would choose him as well. I am so glad we did! He honored our requests while making suggestions that showcased our personalities and the emotion of the day better than we thought possible. My biggest fear was that our wedding pictures would look like all the others, and they are anything but! They are unique representations of who we are individually and who were are together. A year later, my maid of honor looked at them and commented, "You can actually see your love." They evoke such vivid memories of the day. Pictures were the one area we did not want to sacrifice. After the cake is eaten, the flowers dried, and the dress packed in the closet, the pictures remain.

    As the mother of the bride, I would highly recommend Paul Toepfer Photography. Paul is incredibly talented, artistic, and wonderful to work with. The photos are amazing, beautiful, and creative! He also made us feel comfortable and relaxed (he has a calming manner and approach). My daughter and now son-in-law (the bride and groom to be at the time) and I met with Paul and saw some of his work and were most impressed. Thus, we all had very high expectations ~ those expectations were truthfully exceeded! Thanks Paul for a perfect wedding photography experience and the absolutely beautiful photos and precious memories!!

    I cannot verbally express how we loved have Paul Toepfer Photography capture our wedding day! Paul is a great photographer, but better yet he is a fantastic listener. He was willing to use our creative thoughts along with his to make some of the most poetic images to help us remember our day in a unique way. We love looking at our photos time and time again because all the photos captured the emotions, and each person’s distinctive personality on that whimsical day. I am so glad we chose him, and if we need any photos in the future, I know where to go!

    Not only is Paul a brilliant photographer, but his professionalism and experience saved our wedding. Our big day was off to a very rocky start, and we were struggling to keep things on track. I was devistated when it started to rain right before our outdoor wedding. I didn't even want to get out of the car. Then there was, Paul handing me a white umbrella, telling me the weather would only make my wedding pictures more beautiful. He talked me out of the car, and captured more beauty in the day then we could have ever seen without him. The photos he took were breathtaking. Anything that wasn't perfect when he took the picture was perfect on our disk. I was taken off gard with how artistically he retouched our photos. Every photo he touch looked like it was from a magazine or gallery. One was even entered in a photography contest, and another used by the the historic light house museum our wedding was at.

    We had originally chosen a cheep photographer. After getting our engagement photos, and not finding one that we both looked good in, we decided to look for a different photographer. Paul came highly recommended to us not only from former clients, but also by several venders. He was extremely flexible with us. From doing our consultation late in the evening, to driving to Door County to take the pictures. Paul even rushed our DVD so it could play 7 days later at our Madison Reception. Paul was worth every penny. I will always be thankful he was there that day. I am confidant no one else could have captured the beautiful details he did. I will always cherish the beautiful pictures he took.

    We can’t thank Paul enough for capturing the beautiful moments from our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding. His ability to envision the final product is nothing short of spectacular and the outcome is more than we could have ever imagined. Paul’s professionalism and abilities were above and beyond! We consider ourselves very lucky to have found Paul as the photographer for their wedding. He took the time to make sure everything was perfect and the end result definitely reflected that.     Paul did my Senior Pictures and they turned out amazing. He responds to emails and phone calls immediately. My mom and I set up an appointment to meet with Paul to look at his work after I was referred by a classmate of mine. He ended up taking my pictures in the end of July, just enough time for them to be ready by the beginning of the school year in September. You won't be disappointed, you can tell that Paul has been taking pictures for many years and he truly enjoys it. His creativity and openness is greatly appreciated. After the pictures are taken you set up another appointment to review your pictures and choose the ones you want and don't want. My parents were able to get a very professional photo book from Paul and nice portrait of me to hang on their wall. If I were to have pictures taken again Paul would be my first choice. Keep up the wonderful work Paul!

    We had Paul and Alicia for our wedding photographers on May 28, 2016 in Chicago. We came across Paul at a bridal show in Madison. His outgoing personality and portfolio really impressed us and we knew we wanted Paul for our wedding photographer. Our engagement session with him was excellent and fun! The picture were great and we even have a guest signing book from that session as part of our package! Fast forward to May 28, 2016, Paul and Alicia covered our wedding and we couldn't be happier with the outcome! Our wedding pictures are excellent!     The photography for our wedding was perfect and we were so pleased with everything! We decided to have Paul Toefper Photography as our wedding photographer because of his personality when we first met him...first impressions are very powerful. And compared to other photographers, Paul had the best package deals for the best price. Paul was great to work with. He was very knowledgeable and worked well with my husband and I who are not great at taking pictures. The style and quality of the pictures are excellent. All of our family and friends commented on how much they liked Paul and the photos he took. We would definitely have pictures taken with Paul Toepfer Photography again and recommend him to anyone.     Paul was great to work with. We loved his package deal, rather than picking from a huge list of options. The books he printed for us are beautiful. We really enjoyed having our engagement photos taken with him too; it gave us an opportunity to see his style in action and made us more comfortable the day of the wedding. He was easy to work with and helpful as we planned our wedding day schedule. Paul is very easy going and made us comfortable, but had attention to detail that ensured our pictures turned out beautiful. I would (and have!) recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer.

    His price is on the high end but he is very professional. Our pictures turned out great! Also what set him apart from other vendors for us was he also records snip it's during the wedding before the wedding and at the reception and makes you a slideshow video. His wedding books are also amazing!

    There were so many mistakes from the start to finish I can't figure out where to begin. We have some beautiful photos but overall there wasn't much we thought to be very creative. over and over I stated I wanted different photos, not the ordinary stand there shots. I regret not looking at other photographers. I wouldn't hire him again!

    I felt so bad for this bride, of course there is always two sides to every story. She chose a strapless dress that was such a problem for her to get into not only at the hotel but then again before the ceremony at the church. It took so long for her to get ready that we lost our time to be able to enjoy creating the images, including the extra time I always include in our schedule knowing that brides can take longer to get ready for such an important and exciting day. Even with the lack of time, the images and album were gorgeous. With my years of Photoshop expertise, I was able to make her look amazing in a dress that badly needed to be altered. It was very time consuming but now prospective clients are awestruck when they see the before and after images. I'm very proud I was able to give her an album with images that made her look so stunning. My clients really appreciate knowing that I can take care of them under any circumstances!
