He captured the perfect moments on my wedding day. Moments that I can look back on and remember and relive because of these amazing photos. He had so many awesome ideas for poses and just took control on directing where everyone should go. You get your money's worth!! How ever many photos that are taken he will give them all to you, but also based on hos approval. So there's no limit packages which I think is great. Very easy to talk and open to your ideas.

After my friend bailed on me two weeks before our wedding/anniversary party, I found Mr. Bartel on a craigslist ad. Out of the 5 photographers I emailed, he is the only one that responded promptly and and most importantly was the only one that was willing to work with our very right budget. He responded to all of my emails and even met with me in person. He was at the event on time and him and his wife were professional, patient and very sweet! I was pleased with his quality for our event being at night and having little amount of light. I would recommend Mr. Bartel to any of my fiends, it was a pleasure working with him!

When searching for a photographer, my husband and I had a strict budget. At one point we stopped considering a photographer all together because they are just so darn expensive. However, I stumbled upon Paul Bartel's Photography and I am so happy I did. Paul was an amazing photographer! I never met him before my actual wedding, because my husband and I are super busy and live in different cities. However, once the wedding day came, he was the perfect photographer and knew exactly what shots my husband and I would like. On top of that, I received all 800 photos a week after my wedding. Paul was super friendly along with his wife who was amazing. If you want amazing photos at a great price, you definitely want Paul. I would recommend him again and again.

I rarely review anyone perfect but in this case it's true. We have used Paul's service twice - once for a family reunion and the other a 90th birthday party. For the reunion, it was on Thanksgiving day. Paul came to our house on Thanksgiving and took pictures. He spent a couple hours out his holiday to make sure we able to capture this special time with our family. Recently, my mother celebrated her 90th birthday. Again, he accommodated our family and came to the house for another family photo shoot. He is punctual, reliable and the pictures were absolutely perfect. I can't thank him enough for helping us make memories we will have forever.

Our wedding was held at my parents house so picture locations had to be determined on site and Paul was wonderful at quickly finding the best spots for great pictures. His pricing is very reasonable and he made sure to explain the payment process in detail and also made sure to capture all of the photos we wanted. Paul Captured the Essence of our Family!
Paul has taken several family photos of our family. One set in particular were taken in the Autumn leaves around the lake in Sunnymead Ranch in Moreno Valley. He told us the colors to wear, and the effect with the colors and lighting were stunning. Now that it has been several years since my wife passed away, the expressions that Paul captured on her face are priceless. AMAZING!!! Paul was great! He arrived on time, and was very professional. We had a little mishap that delayed the ceremony but Paul was patient and still got us great photos within our time frame. I love all of our pictures! I got married on Sunday and he had my pictures in my drop box within days.

Perfect photos on perfect day
Paul was so easy to work with. He didn't waste time and had poses and shots already planned out before we started (plus a couple specials the bride wanted) and everything came out beautifully. He worked the reception as well but didn't get in the way. If I have to have another wedding, Paul is MY photographer. I couldn't be happier. Bride is happy, too!

Yesterday was an amazing day for us. We were married at the Mission Inn Hotel. While searching for a photographer I knew it had to be someone special. The hotel has amazing views, vistas and backgrounds. I wanted to capture them all. I chose Paul Bartels and it was the best choice I could have made. He is professional as well as personable. Paul is creative and talented. I saw a few preview shots and was in awe. He didn't rush and stayed over our allotted time limit to capture special shots. He's patient and family friendly. We cannot say enough great things about Paul Bartels! Paul arrived on time (even early!) for our wedding in order to scope out the best locations and lighting for photos. He was personable and polite to everyone and really blended well with our guests. We loved his ideas for pre-ceremony photos. When it was time for the ceremony, Paul obtained photos from all angles but we never even saw him! He was amazing in getting the perfect shots while at the same time staying out of the spotlight. After the ceremony Paul patiently took photo after photo of different family groupings. When it was time for husband/wife photos, he had many ideas of poses in order to create the perfect shots. All photos were finished and sent to us within 1 week, which was amazing since he took about 750 photos! Thank you, Paul, for your attention to detail and your responsiveness. Hiring you was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

I found Paul Bartels photography through a Google search when I was seeking a photographer for a Temecula wedding. After a great conversation, I felt that he was the perfect person to capture the memories of this special day. Paul is personable and professional, and he kept our entire wedding party and family engaged throughout the day, ever mindful of the event timing. The wedding photos are beautiful with lots of amazing moments captured. I was looking to capture photos of my daughter with her cap and gown, but not with a background of a photo studio I wanted something rustic/country. Paul said he knew of an area that would be what I was looking for, he worked with my daughter's busy schedule. The results of the photos are extremely nice. We got the disc in a timely manner.
My daughter loved the experience taking her Senior photos, she felt like a model following Paul's suggestions on the posing.

Paul did a great job taking pictures of my wedding proposal. He was completely accommodating to all of my requests: traveling to AND arriving early at a remote hiking trail, setting up with the 'shot' that I wanted, providing more than enough space for my proposal to be intimate, waiting patiently for our eventual arrival (the proposal was a surprise for my fiancee), he was discrete and blended into the background per my request.
Paul and I spoke numerous times before the day of the shoot. He shared his expertise on lighting which was very helpful.
In the end, the photos came out spectacularly, with far more shots gathered than I could have imagined. In addition, his prices were very competitive.
Overall, I would highly recommend him as a high quality photographer who is responsive, professional and flexible.

Everything We Wanted and More!
Our experience with Paul was amazing! He took every shot we asked for and then some! He has an eye for excellence and is so kind and comfortable to work with. Excellent Experience
I need to review my experience with Paul along two separate lines.
1) The actual day of photography. Paul was on time and exceptionally friendly to myself, my wife, and everybody else involved. He was direct about what shots he’d like to get, but also took our input, and allowed a lot of time for us to just enjoy the event. His pictures came out great (both the posed and candid), and he was extremely fast at getting us our pictures (within about six days). He truly caught the most amazing moments.
2) His willingness to work with us along the way. His communication was always very prompt and left no questions. Anytime we emailed or texted we had a response close to immediately. When we had a schedule change (we asked if he’d stay an extra bit of time due to a change in our timeline) and he was more than willing to work it out with us.
Definitely a great experience and made the day far less stressful than some of the stories I’ve heard from people about wedding days.

Our wedding in June was at a Winery and Paul Bartels was our photographer. We sent him the pictures we were wanting to capture and he was able to capture most of them for us. He put his own twist on the photos and we were pleased with many of them. He is creative and a professional.
