10000/10 Best decision we’ve ever made!

It's very rare that I'm left speechless. I'll do my best.

Entertainment was something very high on our list of must-haves. We hired PAE and his crew for our wedding on 10/12/25 and boy, did they live up to the reputation. They are the best of the best.

They provided us with the music, the photo-booth, a percussionist, and the best ENERGY.
DJ Jak took all of our notes in consideration regarding music and put his own twist on things. It was such a beautiful and effortless night, much due to PAE.
You guys kept that dance floor alive all.night.long... the music was 10/10 the percussionist was all of the hype we needed.
They are not your typical entertainment company, they are so much more!
I want to do it over and over again.
Thank you for everything guys-you rocked it!

Next Level Entertainment!

At every turn of wedding planning, both before and after I had signed on with Paul Anthony as my wedding DJ, everyone - from various different venue event coordinators down to my officiant - said that he was the best in the business and they were so excited whenever they got to work with him. I have to say that he not only lived up to those expectations, but exceeded them. Leading up to our wedding, he did such an excellent job of getting a feel for the type of music we were looking for as well as helping us coordinate some extras, including the sound set-up for our ceremony, a photobooth and musicians for our ceremony/cocktail hour. Paul was always very responsive over email and really flexible if there were any questions or concerns that popped up. It really put me at ease that our wedding was in the hands of a professional.
The day of the wedding though? Oh man, does this guy know how to throw a party! Throughout the reception, he did such an amazing job tapping into the energy of the room. You can tell he has years of experience because he knew when to hype everyone up and when to give them a breather. And when the dance floor was open, it was never empty. Some highlights: Paul got my husband and I up on a box in front of the DJ booth and our guests so we could hype them up. Paul also got my ten-year-old cousin (the youngest guest) to crowdsurf and he said it was one of the best nights of his life so far. Everything that Paul did during the reception from the crowd-work down to the music felt natural, fun, and personal to what my husband and I wanted for our event personally. I got so many compliments from guests after the fact saying they’ve never been to a wedding reception quite as fun as ours. And that isn’t even to mention everything Paul and his team did behind-the-scenes to make sure the smaller things went without a hitch.
Tl;Dr - Believe the hype. The Event Specialists are one of a kind and they are just experts at making any event feel personal and out-of-this-world fun.

Master of his Craft

Paul Anthony Entertainment provided music, entertainment, and ambiance for our wedding on 10/15/22 at Lake Valhalla Club in Montville, NJ. I have known Paul for 30 years through our mutual participation with The Valerie Fund’s Camp Happy Times. When I was planning my wedding, I did not hesitate to reach out to Paul to be our wedding DJ. Paul is truly a master of his craft. He knows how to read the room, energize and inspire the guests, and hearten and highlight the bride and groom. I wanted my 15-year-old nephew, who has been DJing for a few years as DJ Jak, to participate as a guest DJ. When I asked Paul about it, he not only supported the idea but made my nephew feel like a rock star. They actually really hit it off! Our wedding was so full of love, emotion, and joy. Paul’s talent and professionalism helped set the stage for an amazing day. So many of our friends and family have commented about how awesome our DJ was and said it was one of the best weddings they have attended. Everyone had an awesome time and the dance floor was never empty. Paul is not only a true professional, but he is also a warm, considerate, and all-around awesome person. I am so very grateful that Paul was there for me on my most special day.

Paul and his team made our wedding day the BEST PARTY EVER!!!!

We hired PAE for our wedding day on 6/17 and they did not disappoint one bit!!! We made the best decision choosing them to DJ our day. We got to experience their skills after going to our good friend's wedding and we had such an amazing time and never left the dance floor, and I knew that was exactly how I wanted to spend our wedding night. We chose the package that included ceremony music and cocktail hour. along with dancing on the clouds effect. We were able to customize our playlist online to include must have songs to songs that we definitely did not want played. Paul made it all happen!! Our special songs for special moments were strategically played at all the right times, and he just knew exactly how to liven up the party and get our guests going. To this day, our guests still talk about our wedding and how absolutely FIRE the music was. We all had such an amazing time, that I heard guests tell me they would look out into the seating areas and no one would be sitting because everyone was out partying it up. Honestly, the music and entertainment was such a key component to having our day be the best day ever! I also come from a hispanic background and my husband is Italian/Polish, Paul was able to add the perfect amount of latin flare to our wedding night as well. It all was a dream come true. We loved using Paul and his team and would recommend them to everyone who wants to have the time of their life! :)

Best party ever!!

Paul was hired by my husband’s parents 20 years ago and has since djed for several of their friends and family. From our first conversation, he connected with us on a personal level and was extremely knowledgeable about the industry. We told him the vibe for the night was Djais with some throwbacks, we really wanted to have a big party. Paul delivered our vision and exceeded our expectations!! He really knew how to play to the crowd, he started off with some music that our parents would know and then transitioned into the party music we wanted. EVERY SINGLE GUEST WAS ON THE DANCE FLOOR THE ENTIRE NIGHT. He even read the vibe of the room and decided to skip the bouquet toss and garter toss because he didn’t want to break up the party. Half of the guests, including my husband and myself, skipped the dessert so we didn’t have to leave the dance floor. I had so many guests reach out after the wedding raving that it was the most fun they have ever had. We also added on the CO2 guns and sparkler machines and they were a blast. I cannot thank Paul enough for creating the most fun and magical night!!

Paul can do it all

Paul brought together three musicians and they played alongside him while he DJ'd. They all played together from the Cocktail hour through the ceremony, dinner and the party. We heard from all of our guests that they thought it was so cool having such a range of music and with live instruments. All thanks to Paul!

Amazing time!

First, let me say that Paul Anthony has DJ’d at all of my family’s weddings and is THE ABSOLUTE BEST IN THE BUSINESS. I would not trust anyone else to provide entertainment to my family and friends on one of the most important days of my life. He is able to bring life to the party and his energy alone makes people want to get up and dance. He provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception for a very reasonable price. He also interacts and mingles with guests making it a personal experience rather than standing behind a computer playing songs. On that subject… he does not play any random, upbeat songs hoping people will want to dance… he bases his selection off of the vibe coming from the crowd, which takes pure talent. HE KNOWS HOW TO THROW A PARTY! Couldn’t recommend him and his team enough!!!!!!!! Stop looking and book PAE for your next event.

Paul Anthony was the highlight of our wedding!

We hired Paul Anthony 4 years after seeing him dj my sister-in-law's wedding. We had been to a lot of weddings since then and no dj has come close to what Paul Anthony does! He interacts with the crowd, getting everyone hyped and engaged on the dance floor without being over the top! His ability to command the flow of the night is perfect, adjusting to schedule changes and making sure our guests were always entertained. We had nonstop comments on how much fun everyone had dancing the night away, which made us very happy as the hosts! The best part was that guests of all ages were out on the dance floor all night! He was able to cater to such a wide range of ages and music preference in such a seamless manner! Finally, he created some really special moments for my husband and I during the night that we will never forget, especially being able to take in the room filled with people we love! We can't thank him enough for making our wedding so much fun and such a success!!! We would recommend Paul Anthony to anyone looking to have a blast on their wedding day!!

The picture I posted says it all - he set the tone for what ended up being the most fun and amazing night of our lives. One of the best

We first met Paul Anthony at a friend's wedding over a year ago and we had so much fun! Leading up to that night, we went to weddings prior to and were mentally taking notes on what we wanted to do for our day. After meeting him, my wife and I knew he was the right DJ for our wedding which we just had a month ago. He's incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating to work with and just a blast to be around. Our family and friends have given us many compliments about how much fun they had and how good the music was that night. When we had ideas on music or our monogram but didn't know which direction to go, Paul helped guide us and made some excellent decisions about our night. One example...we have a monogram and were married at a golf course, and Paul had this amazing idea to project it right on the green outside of the venue. We couldn't be more satisfied with Paul and his team, and we are so fortunate he worked our wedding!

Flexible, energetic, professional!

We found Paul Anthony through my sister, who heard him DJ at her wedding tasting. From our first interactions with Paul Anthony, we were impressed with his professionalism and knowledge of the business. When we found out Paul Anthony had not only done events at our venue before, but actually got married there himself we knew it was a perfect match. Paul Anthony was incredibly flexible with our schedule and was very understanding of our budget. Prior to our event (which was on November 17, 2018), PAE sent us an event planning sheet to fill out and this helped to guide the event itself. From the moment we entered our reception to our first dance to the speeches to the cake cutting, we were thoroughly impressed with Paul Anthony. He immediately got our guests involved by having them circle around the dance floor for our first dance. Being surrounded by our friends and family during this special moment made it even more memorable. Paul Anthony also did an incredible job of pumping up the crowd and involving our guests throughout the event (even letting our flower girl sing a couple lines of a song on a microphone!). Multiple guests came up to us during our event to say how much they loved Paul Anthony and several even asked for his information after the event. We are so so happy we chose PAE to DJ our wedding. Paul Anthony made our reception the best party we could ask for! We cannot recommend him and his company highly enough!

Best DJ Ever!!!!!!

I cannot say enough great things about Paul Centamore. He is the best DJ you can have at an event. Paul was able to read the crowd and get everyone up on the dance floor to celebrate Allie and Jon's wedding. He made everyone feel at ease and has a great way of getting the crowd excited. Prior to the wedding he got to know the bride and grooms and their taste in music and how they wanted the event to flow. We had the entrance of the wedding party, then the first dance of the bride and groom and then went into the hora, the traditional Jewish dance. Paul made the bride and groom very comfortable with that. After dinner we had the father, daughter dance and the mother, son dance and then a Mezinka dance to congratulate the parents that all of their children are now married. This was a special moment for us.
Paul has a gift at knowing how to run a party. In my opinion, the DJ is the most important part of the success of the party and Paul certainly did that for us.
I highly recommend Paul for any special event. If you are looking for an energetic, highly skilled DJ, Paul is the guy. He even traveled from New Jersey to Baltimore for our event. It was worth the extra travel fee. for sure. The percussionist addition was great too. It sounded like a whole band was there...

I cannot express how happy I am with the music for my wedding on 8/18/18. DJ Sam kept the party going all night. We didn't give him a list of songs to play because I felt he was a professional that knew how to read a crowd. Boy did he deliver!!! We had a mixed crowd of all ages and got everyone on the dance floor.

We had seen Paul perform at our friend’s wedding a few years back and we were blown away but his ability to control the room. When we had gotten engaged, it was a no brainer we had to have Paul Anthony Entertainment be the DJ at our wedding. The DJ dictates the way the reception will be and they did not disappoint. We are still hearing rave reviews from our guests on how he played the perfect mixture of music for the young and old. Extremely happy we were able to share the best day of our lives with Paul Anthony Entertainment.

From the first FaceTime conversation we had with DJ Sam, we knew that we had found the person we wanted to work with. We could tell that he just "got it" and was going to do an excellent job reading the crowd and catering to the room. We certainly weren't disappointed because he did just that! The day of the wedding, we were waiting with our bridal party outside of the ballroom to be introduced and Sam introduced himself to everyone and went over the list of names I had sent him. He put me at ease and I knew that he was going to deliver. DJ Sam was the perfect combination of energetic and professional, but not "in your face" and obnoxious. From the moment the music started playing, our dance floor was packed...and it didn't change from being that way the entire night! We honestly cannot say enough good things about DJ Sam and his ability to get the crowd dancing. I have honestly never seen more people up and dancing at a wedding!!

Paul Anthony was referred to us by a family friend and let me tell you, he's awesome!!! He did our wedding on January 14th and was amazing. He worked with my husband to come up with a fun mother/son dance where the slow song turned into an upbeat song, and within minutes the dance floor was packed--and it stayed packed the entire night. There is seriously no question of who I would have DJ my wedding. It was DJ Paul from the get go. I have been to weddings when he was the DJ and I have been to weddings without him. There is absolutely no comparison. When people are in actual pain the next day from dancing too much, there is no greater compliment. Paul has an unmistakable gift to read a crowd. There is never an awkward moment. He kept the energy up the ENTIRE night. He engaged the crowd and looked like he was having as much fun as we did!
We had brunch the next day, and when you have men my father’s age complimenting the DJ, you know he did something right. My husband and I were dripping with sweat from dancing so much, and had legit trouble bending our legs the next day from being sore. It was an epic night. So much so that although we had an after-party with a band, people were so partied-out by the end of the night, our guests were dropping like flies. I would recommend DJ Paul and his crew no matter what to anyone that asked. But it’s not really needed. He has been the #1 choice for my family and friends. Be at a wedding with him once, and you will never consider anyone else after.

Paul was our DJ for our wedding last week and I do not even know where to begin with how awesome he and the staff of PAE is. We highly recommend them for any wedding. Before we got engaged, my now husband and I attended two weddings that PAE DJ'd and they were both absolutely amazing! No one left the dance floor and they were two of the funnest weddings we had ever been to because of the vibe he created. When we started planning our wedding, choosing Paul was not even a question because of our previous experiences with him. Our meetings with him were seamless and collaborative. It is obvious that he did not want to provide us with a cookie-cutter wedding, but truly was interested in what was important to us. The package we chose included Paul and an additional PAE DJ, uplighting and dance-floor lighting. Everything was perfect! The dance-floor was full at all times and our guests are still raving about how awesome the music was! All 187 of them with their different tastes in music! Thank you Paul for making our wedding a day an absolute blast!

PAE came recommended to me by my parents, who attended a wedding where he was the DJ. They came home RAVING about him, so when I got engaged and it came time to hire a DJ, he was the only person we called. Paul Anthony went above and beyond to ensure we had the best wedding day possible. My guests and I were on the dance floor all night. He helped us choose various songs for ceremony and reception, and made me feel secure when it came time for the Hora. I was afraid of falling out of the chair, and he said to me during one of our meetings "no one goes up in a chair without me saying so". Aside from the services provided, I trusted Paul Anthony with my day. Never did I worry about the music the DJ would play, or if my guests would have a good time. I knew since I booked PAE, that everything would be handled, and that my wedding night would be a fun night. Thank you PAE for being a part of my wedding!

Paul Anthony made our party. They responded to the crowd we had and played a variety of music that had everyone dancing all night. We also added a saxophonist who was amazing and added a perfect extra touch to the music.

We used Paul Anthony for my daughter's wedding At Jack's Barn in Oxford , NJ. Right from the beginning, he was professional and friendly and was able to offer alot of guidance during the whole process. He was so flexible, as we had last minute weather issues, and was really able to read the crowd to keep the energy up and everyone on their feet. The younger adults had a great time but even the "older"crowd thought he was fantastic. His giftedness and talent showed with how he interacted with the crowd and how seemless the transitions were from one song to the next, no dead space! He seems to really love what he does and never forgets it's about the bride and groom the their guests. Will continue to recommend him to all looking for professional DJ services!!

Paul and PAE are the BEST! We were married on 5/27/2016 at Maritime Parc in Jersey City. We met with him and explained our own personal styles, how we wanted to make sure that there was something played for everyone but never losing ourselves and BAM! It was perfect! Everyone had an amazing time. The dance floor was packed all night. We had the photo-booth (100% worth it), uplighting, piano player for our ceremony as well as Paul as our MC. It couldn't have turned out more perfectly. My dad even fell ill at the wedding and Paul emailed me personally to ask how he was. What can we say about Paul Anthony - he is the BEST in the business!! A few friends have used Paul and his team for their weddings and when we met with him last summer we knew he had to be our DJ. Our wedding on 10/25/15 was such a great event and we are still getting compliments on the party, and everyone loved Paul and his team. We had a piano player for cocktail hour and he really made the hour so elegant. Paul was our DJ and he was absolutely amazing! Great intro's for the family & bridal party - he has such an amazing energy it really gets the whole room going. The dance floor was never empty because he played such a great range of music for everyone to enjoy. The other great aspect of the night was the photo booth. I don't think a lot of people expected it but everyone loved it and went back multiple times, especially after some drinks.

I cannot recommend Paul enough! He listened to us, gave us great advice, kept the night going and he's an all-around amazing person! If you need a DJ with a great team, look no further than Paul!!

I cannot thank PAE and DJ James enough for making our wedding day absolutely perfect!!! James was outstanding!! He knew exactly what music to play to keep my guests on the dance floor. I was very impressed with PAE from my initial meeting with Paul. We had wanted a custom monogram projected on the floor or wall of our reception venue but Paul actually suggested that we not get the monogram; he told us that there wasn't a good place to project it in the room. So many vendors try to sell you things that you don't need so we were very impressed that Paul was telling us not to spend extra money. When we met with DJ James, we knew the music would be fantastic. We really loved his approach--he plays music on your list but will also read the crowd and play songs that he knows will keep the energy going. He is also very nice and so easy to work with. All of my guests commented on how great the music was that night. We also booked a piano player for our cocktail hour and a photobooth through PAE which were also fantastic! Paul made our wedding SIMPLY AMAZING!!! The first time we met Paul we knew our wedding would be a blast, we just clicked with him and I think it showed on our wedding day. We knew we wanted Paul to be our MC and we couldn't have made a better decision. Paul was like a ninja! He was everywhere, talking to our guests, getting everyone up and dancing and infusing our wedding with nonstop energy! We booked Paul Anthony of Paul Anthony Entertainment as our DJ and could not have been happier. Paul was responsive right from the get go and was flexible to meet my husband and I in locations that worked for us. He spoke with us about what type of music and entertainment we were looking for and threw out suggestions that he felt would help make our event the best. When we met with Paul closer to our wedding date, we talked through music suggestions, introductions and the flow of our event. Again, Paul was professional and prepared and worked with my husband and I to plan an event that would work for us. On the night of our reception, the dance floor was never empty. Paul gauged the audience and played an awesome selection that kept everyone up and moving all night long. This was especially great as we had a multicultural audience and wanted to be sure music was played to keep everyone happy. The up-lighting we used looked great and everyone commented on how well our reception flowed. I would definitely recommend Paul Anthony Entertainment to anyone looking for a DJ- they are well worth it to have a phenomenal event!

Paul Anthony knocked our socks off.

We hired Paul as both our DJ and to handle lighting in our venue, and he was worth every (very reasonably priced) penny!!! We were lucky enough to get Paul himself for our event, and he absolutely NAILED what we were looking for. I literally gasped when I saw our room: we had discussed one lighting concept, but after seeing our place settings and decor the night of, Paul made one small tweak to the lights that put the whole vibe completely over the top of what I expected or could have pictured. The music was the perfect blend of classics to keep the older generations happy, current hits to keep our friends dancing, and all of the specific requests we really wanted to hear! Paul got absolutely everyone on the dance floor and kept the energy going throughout the night, and (at our request) even managed to successfully and tactfully keep the mic safe from some of our more determined family members!! We had the BEST time, and it could not have happened without PAE!!!

(As an added bonus, Paul's online event management tools were the best to use out of all my vendors. It was super easy to make payments in installments, and to manage all of our song requests and other details. Really, really efficient when trying to juggle a million things at once!)

PAE did an absolutely AMAZING job at our wedding. We had Paul Anthony himself, and not only did he play every song we had requested, he had everyone dancing the entire party. EVERYONE who attended our wedding said the DJ was fantastic and it was the best wedding they have ever been too. He worked with us closely to give us the exact wedding we wanted, shared our vision with us, and even helped us create a magical atmosphere at our venue with his lighting packages. We choose one song for our entire bridal party to be introduced to, and I had played that moment out in my head so many times, and the timing and exactly what happened thanks to Paul matched my vision perfectly. I cannot say enough nice things about Paul and PAE. All I can say is you must hire him.

We had DJ Sam and two other men (unfortunately with all the wedding excitement I cannot remember their names) DJ our wedding on 5/15/2015. DJ Sam was absolutely fantastic!!! It was great working with Paul Anthony Entertainment and I would highly recommend them to everyone. They have a website where you can do song choices and fill out worksheets which was very helpful. My husband and I like a lot of different music and were very clueless when it came to the timeline for weddings and the DJ involvement. DJ Sam instantly made us feel comfortable and trust him and he did amazing, beyond out expectations. Everything was perfect and he was able to handle some last minute changes minutes before they were supposed to happen.

We used Paul Anthony as our wedding Deejay on 3/27/15. He was absolutely amazing. We are still receiving endless compliments on how fun and how great the music was at our wedding. Paul had a full dance floor for 4 hours straight. As soon as the toasts were done our dance floor was packed all night. I switched out of my heels and put on flip flops at 8pm. Regardless of that I got 2 blisters and sore feet for days after my wedding from dancing! My husband and I had the best night of our lives and a lot of that we owe to Paul and his team. Alex was our percussionist and he was great also. He never missed a beat. Paul and his team looked really sharp in their suits at our wedding too! We are seriously so happy we chose PAE and would recommend them to all our friends and family. WE LOVE PAE! Seriously, we are SO glad that we went with Paul Anthony Entertainment to DJ our wedding. My husband and I were married early last month, and guests still keep commenting on how it was the best wedding reception they had ever been to. We met with Paul Anthony almost a year ago, and we knew from the moment we started talking with him that PAE was the company for us. He was one of the easiest to talk to, most friendly, and downright passionate people we have ever met. He takes his job extremely seriously and has a deeper knowledge and appreciation of all musical styles than any other DJ you are going to find. For example, I mentioned one of my quirkier bands that not too many people would know and certainly not the kind of band that you would expect to hear at a wedding, which is Radiohead. Right away, Paul knew of a jazzy cover of one of my favorite Radiohead songs that ended up going perfectly with the cocktail hour. Paul helped us with all of our planning and set us up with DJ James DePaul, who had also been recommended to us by a friend. Like Paul, James was an absolute pleasure to work with. He read the room perfectly from start to end. He played every song we requested, and the songs he picked to fill the rest of the time were better than anything we could have come up with on our own. He even managed to get my father on the dance floor, which had previously been unheard of! They were total gentlemen too. We could go on with this review all day, but feel we should just leave it by saying do yourself a favor and book PAE. You will not be disappointed. YOU'LL LOVE PAE!

Paul Anthony is the best! Him and his crew kept are dance floor moving all night. They really know how to engage the whole crowd and add in something for everyone. Our guest won't stop talking about how great the music was. Paul Anthony was professional and just so much fun. Hiring Paul Anthony was the BEST decision we made for our wedding!!! He ROCKED our party the entire time. We met with several other Entertainment providers who seemingly were just going through the motions during the consultation. While others jumped right into all about them and their services, Paul took the time to get to know us. Through his kind disposition and questions relating to us, we knew this was going to be our perfect fit. During the song selection phase we did not have to feel worried about the choices that he was going to make. We talked about the guests that were going to be there and left it up to him.

On the wedding day, Paul started the event off with his clear MCing of the ceremonial dances. Once the music started playing, guests were on the dance floor and hardly came off for fresh air. The songs he chose allowed all the guests to show their moves on the dance floor. Even my 84 year old grandmother got in on the dancing. 2 months later and guests are still telling us its the best wedding they have ever been to, says a lot about the professionalism and entertainment that PAE brings to the wedding.

We also booked the photobooth through PAE. They were setup and running right away and continued running until the end of the reception with no downtime. We were delivered a photo book right after the event so that we could enjoy all the smiling guests right away.

We couldn't imagine selecting any other DJ. Paul and the PAE crew are highly recommended.

I used Paul Anthony Entertainment because I had some friends that said how great they were. They were right! I had Sam and Frank as my DJ's and they did an amazing job. Everyone had a great time at my wedding. We used the photo booth which was great. I loved having a photo book with all the pictures that were taken in there with little notes from my guests. We also used the monogram, lighting package, and piano player for cocktail hour. When I first met with Paul, he was extremely professional. Payments were so easy to make online. Sam was wonderful with being able to play all the songs that we wanted. I can't say enough great things!

We met with several entertainment groups before choosing Paul Anthony Entertainment, and definitely made the right choice. Paul was great to deal with and our DJ James was fantastic! He met with us ahead of time to get a feel for our style and song preferences. We had a few requests in addition to our intro and first dance choices and he played them all! Honestly, the night went so fast I forgot about them until I heard them play, including a last minute surprise song request to my uncle. He played a good mix to keep the dance floor moving and for every one of all ages – we had a pretty young crowd, but even my 94 year old grandma was out there dancing it up. He didn’t forget our “last dance” song either, which wasn’t traditional, but had special meaning to us. Not only were we very happy, but we had several guests comment on how great the DJ was. We wanted a fun wedding, and James delivered!

We booked Paul Anthony and Alex for DJ, percussionist, and uplighting. As the comment below me states, I wish there were more than 5 stars we could give to the team. They were so great to work with from start to finish. In preparing the evening with Paul, he knew how to handle my feedback but tastefully provided his professional advice on things. There was no lengthy playlist we needed to provide him, all it took was one 30 minute conversation. He asked the right kind of questions to get a feel for what vibe we were looking for. The uplighting was AMAZING, and I couldn't believe this was the same ballroom I saw when we first checked out the Molly Pitcher Inn. The transitions from different music genres was flawless, and my guests were telling me how awesome the percussionist (Alex) was. My aunt from Los Angeles even said if only they did work on the West Coast she would book them in a second! My guests also did not feel rushed to hit the dance floor as each course was served (even though it was hardly empty the entire night). The right songs were played at the right times and satisfied my guests of all ages - even our two grandmothers hit the dance floor!! I can't wait until someone asks me for a referral because Paul Anthony Entertainment will be the first ones I tell them about!

DJ Paul Anthony was exceptional. From start to finish, he made us feel like celebrities at our wedding. It was such a wonderful feeling, looking around the room, seeing all the people we love up out of their seats and on the dance floor. For the photo montage, when Elton John belted out 'hold me closer, tiny dancer,' he timed it perfectly so that it slowly panned on a photo of myself in a tutu from my younger years. I thought this was indicative of the attention to detail and finishing touches Paul brought to all aspects of our wedding. We got so many comments that him and his team were the best DJ's ever and we would agree. We would highly recommend him and selfishly by doing so, we hope we are invited to a wedding with him as DJ so we can relive all the fun!

My brother and sister-in-law hired him for their wedding in 2005...I still remember how fun it was even though it was years ago, and so glad he was available for our wedding date!! When we met up with him, he was never pushy, very honest and to the point. We booked exactly what we needed and he was so easy going. He at least gave us the courtesy of letting us know there was another inquiry on our date before we were able to book; we appreciated this so much because another vendor booked our date to someone else without warning.

Fast forward to our creative session shortly before the wedding. Paul really understood what we wanted from our reception; the music, the vibe, etc. We were excited and relieved to know he would do a good job. And he did...he truly delivered. Our uplighting looked amazing, he got the crowd going early, he paid attention to small details, and needless to say, my husband and I crowd surfed at our own reception. So many of our guests complimented him and his crew. We will definitely recommend him to our many friends getting married!

Our wedding was as great as it was because of Paul Anthony Entertainment. DJ Sam kept the entire guest list on the dance floor. From start to finish, working with Paul Anthony Entertainment was easy, professional and worth the value. Our wedding guests ranged in all ages and DJ Sam was able to keep everyone entertained all night long. They also provided us with a photobooth in our package and it was a major highlight of the evening. Guests were thrilled to have this option and our photobooth guest book is hysterical! PAE also did our uplighting which transformed the wedding into something truly amazing. I would highly recommend Paul Anthony Entertainment and you'd be lucky to get DJ Sam to work your wedding!

We absolutely loved our wedding because of our DJ. I would recommend him to the fullest extent of my being. He was very good at getting a feel for the crowd and playing music for everyone. Paul is what my husband and I consider to be a "real DJ." We met with another company prior to meeting with Paul and were not sure it was a good fit. After meeting Paul, we knew we wanted the best and that's what Paul is. We've been to other events where the "DJ" just plays music. Paul is a master at mixing and incorporating live music into it.
Everyone told us he was the best DJ they ever heard and that our music was the perfect blend for the crowd. The dance floor was packed all night! We cannot be happier and know that any future party will include Paul and his team!

Paul came recommended to me through my wedding planner and I couldn't have been happier!

I wanted my guests to walk away saying they had never seen/heard a DJ like that before and that's exactly what I got. Paul came dressed looking stylish but classic. His equipment was the same. At our pre-wedding meeting we discussed the type of music I was looking for and he did exactly what I asked. The dance floor was packed all night! Everyone from the 20 somethings to the 80 somethings enjoyed his mix of music.

I also hired him for up lighting around the room and a photo booth. I loved working with one vendor for three big items. And he didn't disappoint in any area. The lighting was colorful but not overwhelming. The photo booth was a huge hit and the quality of the images were great.

All around a wonderful experience. You can't go wrong!

Paul Anthony himself dj'ed my wedding and he was absolutely incredible. He kept the party going the whole night long, did exactly what we asked of him, and was also incredibly professional. At first, I thought he was a teeny bit more expensive than other DJs I had called, but he was absolutey worth it! We also had uplighting as well as 2 lights and they definitely added to the event. If you are thinking about Paul, just go for him! Everyone at the party said he was the best DJ they ever heard. He also did a great job at getting guests of all ages up on the floor.

Paul Anthony Entertainment is unparalleled in the DJ/Entertainment industry. Paul and two assistants created an amazing atmosphere at our wedding, on October 22, 2011 at Shadowbrook in Shrewsbury, NJ. My husband and I knew we wanted Paul himself, so we booked him over a year before our wedding date. Throughout the process, he was attentive and accommodating to our unique tastes. I remember, during our first meeting, feeling amazed at how much effort he puts into his events. I realized that being a DJ at a wedding was a science, and Paul had perfected it. I felt like we were on the same page when we discussed the atmosphere we wanted to create and how we wanted to incorporate our tastes with that of our guests. His dedication and interest were evident and our requests were met with an impeccable attention to detail. From that day, I knew our wedding would be in good hands.
The actual day was truly a dream come true, and it started when Paul informed us that he brought a photographer to snap photos and display them on a plasma screen throughout the reception. We were elated. Guests are still raving about how impressed they were with this feature. Everyone had a blast viewing the photos during the party. We dreamed of having the dance floor packed from the beginning to the end of the evening, and Paul delivered. Our guests had an amazing time, and are still telling us how much fun they had. Paul was so professional and exceeded our expectations for creating the atmosphere we wanted. In addition, Paul wasted no time posting the 90+ plasma screen photos on Facebook! They were up the very next day! It was so amazing to get to see the photos of us and our guests so shortly after our event. Hands down, Paul Anthony Entertainment is the cream of the crop in terms of wedding entertainment. We will continue endorsing and recommending him to every bride and groom we know!

Paul did a phenomenal job with our wedding. Despite some timing/scheduling issues from our side, he was nothing but accommodating, patient and very professional. On the day of, he provided great service, both for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. The uplighting was awesome - we had some discussions if it would be worth the money and are really glad we did go for it. So many friends and family made a point of telling me they loved the DJ & music. Basically everyone was dancing all the time. My husband used to be a DJ/MC himself back in the day, so his bar was pretty high, but Paul didn't disappoint. Couldn't have asked for more!

After my sister used Paul Anthony for her wedding back in 2005, we knew instantly we wanted to have him at our wedding. Paul Anthony is such a pleasure to work with and knows exactly what makes a great party. He spent the time to get to know Dan and I and it really showed during the night. He helped run the wedding to make sure it went smoothly and everyone had a good time. We were looking at our photos and EVERYONE was on the dance floor the entire night. He played music for all ages and really played off of the crowd. He definitley goes above and beyond to ensure your wedding is memorable and that you have the best night. Paul Anthony was absolutely wonderful. The music was spot on. Everyone, young and old was dancing the entire night and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. In addition, the photo booth was a great extra. We got tons of great pictures of our guests and Paul Anthony provided a flash drive and photo album full of the pictures. Lastly, the uplighting really added elegance to the venue and helped set the mood for a fun evening. I wish I had another event so that I could hire Paul Anthony again!

Paul is amazing! He DJ'd a friends wedding and from that moment I new I wanted him to do my wedding. Paul was so accomodating and really knows how to work the crowd. My husband is not a dancer and for the entire second half of our wedding he was dancing up a storm. Paul Anthony was so wonderful to work with. My husband and I visited several DJs and when we met Paul, we knew he was the one that we wanted for our wedding. He knows his music very well and I am certain that he can cater to any crowd. I had a short song list, he worked off of. He read the crowd to play additional songs he thought they would like to hear. My guests loved him and I must say he nailed the type of musical atmosphere that we were going for. I wish I had a soundtrack from our wedding. His mix was amazing. He had our guests (and us!) on the floor all night and was on the mic just enough to get the party going with an upbeat reception introduction, but not steal the spotlight. He put together an awesome photo montage for us (we just provided the pictures) and lit up our room with romantic uplighting. My guests also liked the live aspect of our percussionist provided by Paul. I am not certain, but I think James was also deejaying at the reception, which was great! I had two intelligent light stands, but I would recommend having all four. The intelligent lights and uplighting added more detail to our photographs, which came out beautifully (thanks to John Arcara!). I definitely would recommend Paul Anthony and I am completely happy with our decision. The only negative thing I might say is that it was difficult to get in touch with him at first (maybe because it was the Holiday season) but the closer the wedding got, he was always available to contact and discuss our music with. He's a very cool, professional and musically well rounded guy.

Paul Anthony is the best DJ everrrrr! I am the third bride in my family to use him, and every wedding has been exceptional. All of the guests at the wedding could not stop talking about how fun the wedding was. The whole entire night was full of dancing. DJ Paul Anthony is amazing. He was able to get our wedding pumped and dancing the whole night without the cheezy hats and giveaways... Everyone said it was the best wedding they ever went to and the DJ was amazing. He played all the right songs at the right time. He is worth every penny he charges.

Also, highly recommend doing the plasma TV's with photo montage...all my guests rave at how great that was and unique... We had the photo montage right before they introduced us as husband & wife for first time.

Paul Anthony was great to work with! He made the entire planning process simple by answering all of our questions and being flexible to all of our requests. He provided us with a lot of extra service options and created beautiful lighting for our reception. It was exactly what we requested. His performance during the evening was perfect and he played off our crowd perfectly. Paul Anthony was terrific! I can't tell you how many guests (while on the dance floor ALL NIGHT LONG) told me repeatedly how great the music was. He was so flexible, as we had a long list of "must plays" (which he played) and we gave him a general idea of the fast songs, which he read the crowd and did EXACTLY what we wanted. He added a HUGE success to our entrances in providing the song our Best Man walked out to, which was a huge hit and MADE our entrance one that everyone has continued to talk about. Perfect Music Choices

We had Paul as our DJ for both the ceremony and the reception. During the planning process he was accommodating and met with us as much as we wanted to discuss music selections. He was very helpful in helping us to decide certain songs for things like the first dance or processionals. He was always very honest and real with us, and never pressured us into anything. He offers a lot of different services and we chose up-lighting, which turned out beautiful. We gave a basic outline of certain songs we liked and wanted played, and types of music we liked, but the rest we gave him free reign over. He didn't disappoint! Paul is great at reading a crowd and knew exactly when to play certain songs, or to get involved with the crowd. My guests loved him and everyone complimented us on the music choices. There was always a crowd on the dance floor, which is what we wanted! He did an amazing job and was so personable and easy to deal with. I think one of the best things about him is that he isn't a salesman, he never pressured us or tried to sell us any extras. He was just honest with what we needed, and what we didn't need. I would 100% recommend him to anybody!

DJ James was awesome. He knew exactly what to do and what to play to get everyone going. We received multiple compliments from our guests. The guitarist they provided for the ceremony was excellent

Overall, I really liked my experience with Paul Anthony Entertainment. We elected to have a DJ do the music for our ceremony and reception (we both in the same non-religious venue). We worked with Vince Costa, and he did a good job of getting the party bumpin'. Vince was open and communicative, and definitely read the crowd well and accepted requests. This was great, because we didn't give him much of a playlist, other than asking for not a lot of rap or corny songs like the Electric Slide. The only trouble spots we had were minor: there were some flubs with the wedding party's names and he accidentally swapped the Father/Bride dance song with the Groom/Mother song. Not by any means ruinous and everything was corrected quickly. The ceremony was perfect and we're glad we had him on hand. Their prices were on par with their competitors, so that's great too. We didn't elect to use their photo-booth or add on packages (like lighting), but if you're looking for more than a basic DJ these guys are well equipped to handle it. The owner, Paul Anthony, is very personable and I appreciated that he didn't give me a "hard-sell" pitch like other DJ companies did. I do hope he gets a secretary or assistant because he was at times difficult to reach. But, we had no issues once he connected us directly with the DJ on staff, Vince. Overall, this is a well-done outfit and I recommend it!

Party party!

We interviewed 4 DJs before we met with Paul Anthony. Our families were a little bit apprehensive initially because he's not the DJ they usually hire. However Paul was able to engage the crowd without being over bearing and the dance floor was packed the whole night. We received so many compliments from our guests and he really kept the party going. Additionally, Paul was incredibly accomodating and was able to seamlessly mix party songs with traditional Filipino and Italian music.

Let me start this review by saying that James was our DJ (employed by Paul Anthony Entertainment) and he was fantastic. He really felt out the vibe of our wedding and played amazing music that made us VERY happy.

All of the paperwork was done with Paul Anthony (the owner of the company), and since he is usually booked up, he then assigns you to a DJ that he feels suits your needs. He assigned us with James, and he was spot on. While Paul is professional and extremely knowledgeable, we did question some of his prices during negotiation because he was on the high side. Instead of explaining the difference in price to us between him and the other guys, he made some remarks that made me uncomfortable negotiating. My other gripe was that the day before the wedding, we agreed via e-mail that two uplights (uplighting was purchased through him as well for the event as a package) would be placed outside. This never happened. I was never told why or what happened - I am sure there was a good reason it didn't happen, but I probably should have gotten an explanation as to why my guests were in the dark outside.

To sum it up, besides a few minor hiccups, the DJ was amazing (James), the uplighting in the ballroom was AMAZING, and the equipment and DJ stand looked extremely professional. I would definitely recommend Paul Anthony Entertainment for any wedding or event.

We had Paul Anthony DJ our wedding as well as a bongo player which was awesome! Paul captured the crowd with his creative spin on playing music to get everyone up and dancing. People were amazed how great he was and the song choices were perfect for dancing. Paul is extremely talented with mixing songs and it made us feel like we were in a club dancing to our favorite songs.
