Absolutely Amazing!

Having a great photographer was very important to my wife and I when planning for our wedding. Patsy's work speaks for itself but it was speaking with and meeting Patsy that was the best part. Patsy not only covered our wedding but she also did our engagement photos and will cover all of our family photos moving forward. When you work with Patsy you don't feel like you are working with a vendor, you feel like you are spending time with a friend. I would recommend her to everyone looking to capture any of their special moment.

Low stress wedding photography

Patsy was professional, kind, and exacting when it came to our wedding photography needs. She is 'no nonsense' while at the same time being reassuring. Her delightful personality and peaceful spirit puts you at ease the moment she begins to shoot. She exceeded our expectations in every way! Our pictures were beautiful - no over editing or cheesy poses.

Breathtaking Photography

Patsy photographed my wedding in November of 2018. I can’t even express how wonderful my experience was. Patsy and her assistant Julie made sure I had everything I needed at all times. They guided my entire bridal party through all the photos quickly and easily, and captured all the best moments. Pasty is so professional but she also cares for her clients as friends. I am so thankful I went with her for my wedding! Don’t consider anyone else if she’s available! THE. BEST. EVER!

Amazing and more than you can hope for!

Patsy was wonderful to work with. She exudes energy, positivity and professionalism. She was, by far, my favorite vender. Patsy was available throughout my wedding planning process to give advice, suggestions, or just humor if needed. She takes the stress away from what could be a stressful process. Her photos are stunning and she brings a second shooter to be sure to get every angle and opportunity.

I can’t say enough about how great Patsy is! She makes you feel some comfortable and is always willing to work with you to get what you need. She’s so accommodating that she even went out of her way to do a mini shoot for us so we could get our save the dates sent out in time. She is so thoughtful and is truly a genius behind the camera. I’m so glad I made a friend in you, Patsy!

I can go on and on about Mrs. Patsy Brown. Trust me, you want to feel like a million bucks on your wedding day…and you absolutely will working with her and her team. It’s a huge day in your life and capturing these moments is priceless. It’s THE thing that will take you back time and time again. Photography was top of my priority list and was SO hard for me to decide on until I saw Patsy’s page. Not only is she an extremely hard working-woman, but her eye for photography is incredible. She has a crazy ability to capture beautiful candids too, which was a neat plus. She’s been in the industry for so long and knows her stuff…so you kinda get a two for one amazing photographer and consultant (sorry Patsy, it’s true!). It’s sad that I won’t be working with her in the near future, but she is my forever go-to for future photo sessions. Go with this talented woman! TRUST ME!

Patsy Brown was there to capture our engagement happen, did our engagement photos, bridals, and wedding photos. She is absolutely amazing. She captures all the perfect moments. She is so much fun to work with and all her images are beautiful! We love Patsy!!

Patsy Brown did an amazing job at my daughters wedding. She took a ton of pictures and has a great personality. She is very friendly and energetic and her pictures are absolutely perfection. She took a variety of different pictures at several different locations. She isn't afraid to get wet or dirty in order to get some great shots. We loved Patsy!!

Words can't even begin to explain how wonderful this woman is AND her assistant! Patsy and Julie were so amazing! To start off, I knew I wanted her to shoot our wedding the minute I got engaged. I booked her 2 years out! She checked on me throughout the wedding planning, gave me advice when I needed it, and simply just talked about how excited we were for the big day! She made it so much fun and combined with her creativity, she really does some amazing work!

I can't wait to use her again!

Patsy is an absolute dream! I was an out of town bride planning a destination wedding and she made sure I got everything I needed. Her pictures are amazing, and her personality and liveliness are why I love her so much. She was truly a blessing and I knew I would get every picture I ever wanted on my special day. She did our engagements, which we had to reschedule a few times and each time she was so easy going an changed plans around to accommodate. She did my bridals, the wedding, and also a special trash the dress session which I have to say are the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen. Patsy goes over and beyond for her clients and I not only think of her as my photographer but I have found a long time friend.

Patsy is by far the best! I met Patsy a little less than 2 years before my wedding and we clicked from the first meeting. She was so profressional the day of my wedding and made the picture taking process fun. She has been doing this a long time and knows exactly what pictures brides want and where people need to be when. We had a mix up and the groomsmen showed up at the Church too early and she diffused the situation quickly so that none of my guests or groom saw me in my dress! She was and is so wonderful! I'm so glad we chose to use her as our photographer.

Choosing Patsy Brown Photography to photograph my wedding was the very best decision I made. She was so easy to work with leading up to the event and made me feel so at ease. On our wedding day, she and her assistant arrived earlier than expected and starting taking photos right away. The finished products were amazing! I look at our photos almost daily and they captured every single moment that was special to us on our big day. I would highly recommend Patsy Brown as a wedding photographer.

I fell in love with Patsy's work while searching for a photographer for my wedding. Patsy and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with! They made the best of our rainy day and were able to get some shots with our "wedding rainbow". WISH THERE WERE MORE STARS!!! If you are looking for THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHER EVER, no need to look any further. This woman is the real deal. Patsy made my wedding day. Not only is she flexible and eager to please, she is PHENOMENALLY TALENTED. This woman knows how to make you look good. I have received so many compliments and raves on my wedding photos and on how beautiful we all looked. This had nothing to do with me, it was the work of this SUPERSTAR PHOTOGRAPHER. Patsy is absolutely FABULOUS and AMAZING to work with! We initially went back and forth between two photographers but ultimately decided to go with Patsy because she is so personable and made us feel incredibly comfortable, plus her photography is amazing! Correspondence was super easy and I felt like she was available to answer any questions pretty much anytime. We haven't gotten all of our pictures back from the wedding yet but I have no doubt how great they will be. At the end of our big day, I was a little sad knowing that we wouldn't get to talk as regularly as we had leading up to the wedding. Now, I can't wait to have an excuse to take more pictures with her.

I don't even know where to start when talking about Patsy! She is the BEST of the BEST and so much more than just a brides wedding photographer! Patsy takes the time to truly get to know her clients and makes you feel like a part of her family! She was so special to us that before we made it to our hotel the night of the wedding I called her almost in tears to let her know how blessed we felt to have her as our photographer! She is now my photographer for life!

Patsy is, in one word, AWESOME! I love love love her and she is sooo good at her job! I doubt you could find another photographer better than she is and I loved all of my pictures. While she is not cheap, her prices are pretty normal for good photographers and I think better than most of them! If you use her, you won't have to worry about what your pictures look like or if they will turn out. You will feel confident which was so nice, in my opinion. She also has an assitant named Luker that does his own weddings some times and he is also very good! He's young, but super talented and definitely a cutie :) One of the things I like most about Patsy is that she is just such a fun and easy going person. During pictures with my wedding party, I had to calm everyone down because they were almost having too much fun which usually is not the case- especially with the groomsmen! She made it fun for everyone, but still was a professional and accomplished what she needed to get done. She is also just a good person (She actually takes pictures for parents with premies at the hospital for babies that only live a few days. She does this for free out of the kindess of her own heart!) I could go on forever about how great she is, but I'll stop :) Good luck with planning and if you cut your budget elsewhere, don't do it on photos. You can never go back and get those pictures again so its worth spending some money!

Patsy is an AMAZING person and photographer. We could not have been more pleased with our engagement and wedding pictures. She completely exceeded expectations and did everything she could to make sure we got our money's worth (and MORE)! This woman knows what she is doing and she makes you feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. There are no time constraints and no pressure. If you want excellent pictures, choose Patsy, hands down! I will forever sing her praises and recommend her to everyone I know. Words really cannot describe just how great she is.

Patsy Brown is simply the best. She is fabulous at email and will respond to you the same day (most the time in the same hour!) which is great when you have alot of questions like I did. She was also super flexible when we wanted to take our engagement pictures out of town. And then let us reschedule 3 times because of rain. All my friends loved being "friends" with Patsy on facebook so they could view our pictures and see so many other bride's pictures too. She is fun to have around and makes you feel very comfortable when she takes your picture. Luker, her assistant, is fabulous as well! Both were very professional and are experts in their field. This is NOT where you want to cut back with money! Book her now! :)

Patsy is PHENOMINAL! She captures every moment as if it's in a glass bottle and every time we look at our wedding photos all our wonderful memories come flooding back to us! She is an EXCEPTIONAL person and was SPECTACULAR in every aspect! She worked with us very closely and was even able to help my now husband understand and comprehend the importance of GOOD WEDDING photos. My hubby wanted to stay in the very low price range and he is still to this day (and we have been married now for almost two years that) is so happy that he listened to Patty!!! He still gets teary eyed looking at our wedding photos! NOT ONLY was she exquisite in every way concerning our photography she also has a heart of GOLD!!!! OH MY WORRRD!!! You will NOT be let down!! Patsy is sooo amazing at what she does and has such a wonderful personality that you are sure to have a WONDERFUL time and get some AMAAAAAZING photos!!! Oh and ... she TRAVELS!! We had such a blast taking pictures with her on our honeymoon, in Destin FL- it was a tad rainy but she drove the two hours to meet us anyways and we worked through the rain. We took pictures in the small town of seaside and watercolor and then (in my dress) walked over to the beach, took some more pics and then I got in the water!! Patsy not only made me look fabulous, I felt so beautiful and the pictures could not have turned out any better!!! It is true that every girl dreams about their fairytale wedding. Very few people actually have that dream come true. I am one of the few lucky girls who did have that fairytale day come true. I never thought it could be thanks to my photographer, but it was! Patsy Brown is an amazing photographer. She has a way with people, and she captures a moment and makes it priceless. I am blessed to have met her, and to have had the opportunity to have had her as my photographer for the most important day of my life! Patsy was not only a great photographer, but anytime I ran into a crisis she was there! Everytime I would speak to Patsy, I could tell she geniully cared which spoke volumes. We were not from the Pensacola area, so we relied on our wedding planner to suggest people. My dad asked our planner who she would pick for her daughter's wedding and Patsy Brown was her choice. Patsy is such a delight to work with, she gets to know you and it shows in her pictures. As one photographer cousin of mine put it - "she had it all under control - she knew what she was doing."

Patsy is a blessing. I searched and searched for the right photographer and God led me right to her! What Patsy does is make you FEEL a picture. All of the emotions of my wedding day come flooding back each and everytime I look at my photos, she managed to capture each moment perfectly. She is so easy to work with and just an amazing person! Her talent is only surpassed by her wonderful spirit. When I pictured what I wanted in my wedding photos, I wanted a journalistic documentation, I wanted to remember how I felt by looking at the photograph. I wanted to LOVE every bit of my ceremony, I wanted to remeber it even better than it was. Patsy gave me EXACTLY what I dreamed of.

I LOVED working with Patsy Brown! She was very upbeat and energetic before during and after the wedding. She was very open to any pictures that I wanted to take specifically, very flexable. Patsy Brown is an absolute joy to be around! From the first time I talked to her over the phone and then meeting her in person, I felt like I have known her for years! She is so easy to get along with and makes you feel so special on your wedding day. Besides her being one of the sweetest people I know, her work is AMAZING!!! I cannot stress that enough! I love love love everything she does. Before my wedding I was first of course excited about getting married but number two on my list was having her as my photographer! Photographs will last forever... the music and food will be remembered for a short time so its so important to have someone truly amazing to capture the best moments and moments you would not probably remember. Patsy has talent like no other... viewing her blog photos you will see that she makes everyone and anything loook so good! I could really go on forever about Patsy and her wounderful self..oh and of course her AMAZING AWESOME photographs... There are a lot of people in this world who are very good at their jobs. And then, there are people in this world who you know have found what God put them on this earth to do. Patsy Brown (A Thousand Words Photography) is clearly in the business of blessing others with her God-given talents. I could go on and on about her photographic talents, but if you visit her blog or website, you can easily see that she is the best. So rather than talking about her pictures, I'll tell you somethings that make Patsy unique:

1)Patsy's personality is infectious. From the moment you meet her, she is your friend. This ability to build relationships makes her great at her job. You are much more likely to look comfortable and happy in your pictures if you are comfortable and happy with your photographer.

2)You don't have to be a model for her to make you look good! I hated visiting photographer after photographer and seeing how well they photographed drop-dead gorgeous people. Hello? Even I could make those people look good on camera. I believe Patsy could make ANYONE look incredible.

3)Patsy is incredibly professional and somehow manages to wrangle difficult family members, prissy bridesmaids, grumpy groomsmen, wild children, etc. into one amazing photo after the next. All while maintaining a smile on her face and keeping everyone happy.

If she sounds too good to be true...she is. I can't imagine having gone with another photographer. I would recommend Patsy to anyone, anytime, anywhere. From the first time we spoke on the phone until the last picture was developed, Patsy Brown was more than a photographer. She is a gifted artist, a knowledgeable helper, a calm voice in the storm, and best of all a kind human being who clearly loves her job.

There are only 2 words to describe Patsy Brown: the best. Not only does she take great photos, she makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and she is very easy to work with.

We were very impressed with the quality of her work. We have received numerous compliments on our wedding photos. She is also very good at getting your wedding pictures back to you quickly after the wedding.

They are all absolutely beautiful. Patsy Brown is not only an amazing & creative photogroapher. but she is also down-to-earth, honest, and reliable. I am so lucky to have met her and to have received her services on my wedding day. Additionally, she is very time-conscious. She took a million wonderful pictures of the family and bridal party after the wedding ceremony in only 29 minutes!! We were able to get to the reception shortly thereafter! My photos are unbelievable perfect. All of my married friends that have seen our photos are so JEALOUS! People warned me before the wedding that I probably wouldn't remember much and that it would fly by! They were right....but lucky for me, I have Patsy's AMAZING photos to help me remember the best day of my life! Anyone that hires Patsy can be worry-free about their photos, because Patsy takes care of it all!!!

I just love Patsy as a person and as a photographer! You will love her from the moment you meet her! My husband and I aren't shy in front of the camera, but a few people in our wedding party were and because of her personality and enthusiam she made them feel completely at ease and they loved having their pictures taken that day. Patsy's work is amazing and we are so happy we chose her to capture our special day! Everyone looks at our pictures and wants to know who our photographer was. She is very prompt in getting your pictures where you can see them, in returning emails, and in getting your orders to you. Just take a look at her pictures and you won't want to look any further...she truely has a creative gift for photography! I cannot say enough good things about Patsy Brown with A Thousand Words Photography...but I will try! My husband and I couldn't be any more happy with our pictures! Every single person who sees our wedding pictures wants to know who our photographer was...she's THAT GOOD! Patsy is super artistic, but will tailor your pictures to whatever dream you have in your mind. My wedding party was late getting to the chuch due to our hair appointments running behind, but Patsy was still able to take about 1500 images. She even had a sample collage posted on her website THE VERY NEXT DAY after the wedding! It was so cool to have a preview of our wedding pictures before we went on our honeymoon. There aren't many photographers out there who would do that! I never had to give Patsy a list of "what to take a picture of", she just knew...
From pre-wedding images, to the very end of the night, Patsy had it covered! Obviously, I highly recommend Patsy. She is the only photographer I will be using for the future. Patsy Brown is an awesome photographer and now, a great friend, too.

Patsy was a blast to work with. She was able to always make us feel comfortable and confident in her ability to capture the moment. She was also very proactive in contacting us and letting us know what she needed. She was always on time, too. Pasty is a genius with the camera. She takes the time to get to know her clients and work with their personalities thoughout the process. Patsy Brown was so amazing to work with. I live in St. Louis and planning an out-of-town wedding was pretty stressful, but Patsy made everything go so smoothly. From the first email I sent her to the moment I received my wedding album, I never felt out of touch with her. She listened to me every step of the way and made my wedding so special. If you've seen her website, you already know her photos are absolutely stunning, but seeing yourself in those photos is priceless! She captured every special moment of our big day, every emotion, every tear, every laugh. Without her pictures to hold on to, my wedding day would just have been one big blur!! Patsy Brown, of a Thousand Words Photography, does a wonderful job of capturing every moment of your wedding. She makes you feel very comfortable in front of the camera and you will have a blast working with her! She is incredibly flexible and truly has her clients best interest at heart. Not only is she a special person, her photographs are incredible and will be something I cherish for years to come. She is a little more pricey than some of the other local photographers, but the extra money is definely worth it as she does an incredible job!

My daughter and I felt instantly connected from the time we met Patsy Brown of A Thousand Words Photography. We had seen her photography before and using Patsy as her wedding photographer was the only request my daughter insisted on her father and I providing for her. I have to tell you that Patsy and A Thousand Words Photography was absolutely incredible, her work is priceless. She is very professional and very experienced in her field. The emotions she captured on our day will last us well...hopefully forever (:)lol)
She is definitely an expert in what she does. Not only does she take the pictures but her photos tell a beautiful story. We not only loved her work but her personality as well. She was prompt at getting our wedding pictures to us and kept us informed which is really nice when you are waiting for the photos of a lifetime!! She was a breeze to work with and we recommend her 200%!
I am very much looking forward to expecting as we will continue to use her for our children or any other occasion in our lives that would need to be captured.

Patsy Brown with a thousand words photography is a dream to work with. I was able to go and meet with her, see her work, discuss my plan options and decide she was the one for me. I never worried about a thing, Patsy was there and on top of everything I could have possibly needed her for. She was professional but fun, put me and all of my family and friends at ease! She was even able to get my husband to enjoy the picture taking process, which is almost impossible!

Next to getting an amazing husband out of the deal, hiring Patsy was THE best thing I did pertaining to my wedding. Soon, she will be photographing our new daughter, and I expect that we'll be seeing her over and over again in the years to come. The most wonderful thing about her is that she manages to capture the precious candid moments of the day so that they remain candid, and she brings a real feeling of ease to the posed shots.
